Amazing hotel!

Our first time, staff was wonderful! Especially Pedro, who help us get around. The gym room was in great shape. Enjoyed our deluxe room stay. Great location to everything. Beautiful hotel and lobby area. We ate at Rodeo Bar. The staff there was also wonderful. Also a great coffee shop inside for those mornings caffeine.

The temperature throughout the Hotel was entirely too hot. We were there for a wedding on Saturday night and the ballroom we were in was like a oven. Orr stay included a breakfast, but we were not given a voucher so we did not know there was a price limit on our breakfast. At checkout they took off $21 each for the breakfast, but it was more than that, so it would have been helpful if they would have told us in our checkin portion.

Incredible stay most worth the price of any hotel I’ve stayed at. Prime location and everything is beautiful inside. There is definitely an ambiance you can see smell and feel as soon as walking in

Very nice hotel in a great part of town. Booked the junior suite corner room. Spacious. Clean. Good amenities. A nice bar, good breakfast. Downtown Dallas. Great location. Walkable to many other restaurants / shops.

My wife and I stayed for our 5th anniversary and the hotel and suite did not disappoint. This was our first night away from our toddler since she was born and the whole experience was perfect.
- 5/5
Parking is too expensive. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay.
- 3/5
The internet connection in my room was non existent. Decent WiFi is as basic an amenity as soap these days yet many hotels don’t understand or ensure it. I was charged a daily rate for amenities (not explained on my booking nor at check-in) and as the reception area was really busy at check out, I didn’t question what it covered. The staff were generally friendly but the hotel itself is showing some need of TLC.

I’ve been to the Adolphus many times ! It’s one of my favorite hotels in Dallas , this time I had a big incident happen on the escalator, I was about to fall to try to save my high heels, unfortunately it got stuck and it destroyed it. A gentleman ( I believe he was q manager) approached us and instead of stopping the escalator he tried to take the shoe out but it got worse . I asked him a few times to stop the escalator, until he finally did , but it was too late. He did not apologize, he said there was a sign , showed us where it was and left us at the lobby. I felt so uncomfortable and upset.

This is a very nice hotel with all the amenities you would expect at this price range. The room was very large but most of the extra space was the just wasted. The beds were not particularly comfortable but adequate. The staff was impeccable and everyone you encountered, even walking past, greeted you warmly. The couple of times we had questions they went out of their way to answer us and help us with whatever we needed.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Downtown might be a little loud specially at night but the Adolphus is a wonderful place to stay.

Love this hotel! It has an "old school" and traditional, classy feel. Close to walk or Uber to trendy restaurants and downtown.

I booked on this website, and the Hotel said they had no reservation for us. Then, they refused to refund our deposit. Don't use this website. Actually giving me what I paid for.

Enjoyed our weekend away and stay. The hotel and room were clean, updated, and had a touch of historical nostalgia. The staff was very welcoming and supportive. The Valet service was easy and efficient. Used the spa and enjoyed our services.

Great location and terrific room. Fabulous room size and excellent bars and restaurants. The room cleaning was done super late and therefore we didn’t get our room cleaned once in 3 days because they showed up as we returned each day.

Beautiful Hotel. Clean, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Nice towels. Staff courteous and helpful.

I liked the atmosphere walking into the hotel. I didn’t like my hotel room. I was moved from one due to the mildew smell and the other room still smelled like mildew. The carpet was old. The flooring was dirty. There was blood splatter on the wall and the floor. There was hair that was not mine in the shower drain. The room wasn’t clean.

The hotel is beautiful. The service is excellent and there are plenty of great eateries in and around the hotel. The common areas to sit and read or people are just wonderful!

Also great concierge service!

The layout and coffee shop were amazing!

Rodeo Bar - waiter brought me a warm beer , never asked if I wanted another one. Attended the other table more than my table. Bar in the Lobby - great selection to serve any drink you ask for. Too bad the bar tender was kinda like the waiter at the restaurant , more talkative with others so felt unwelcome at the bar at the restaurant. The hotel is great , the Otto coffee shop is the best ever. Great service . Hotel service & room were a 10 along with their coffee shop. I give the bar & rodeo bar a 3 out of 10

We were put into an accessible room when I specially asked for a room with a tub. I then climbed into bed and there was a dirty hand towel in between the sheets. There was an outside loud obnoxious street concert going on until midnight. There were doors slamming all night long, I got food poisoning from room service and was up in the bathroom all night. Then the cleaning staff were so loud and obnoxious in the morning that we couldn’t sleep. We left even though we had a reservation at the tea room which we will be charged for. I am extremely disappointed in the Adolphus.reservation at the t

- 4/5
The Adolphus is truly a beautiful hotel, steeped in historical architecture. The way they have preserved the interior of the lobby, bar, tea and group areas are wonderful. Cita at reception was also very personable and wonderful in helping us with our room up grade. Where I felt the ratings fell short were the interior of the bedroom & bathroom. We had a beautiful room that was large and comfortable. However, I didn't feel as if the decor was up to standard for how gorgeous the hotel is. If the hotel invested in new carpets, linens and elevated bathroom amenities, it would take the ratings up to 5 stars. It was hard to feel inspired by the exterior and then walk into our room where the interior was lackluster.
- 5/5
The food court across the street was very convenient.
- 5/5
Hotel is great, sadly the location doesn't help too much
- 5/5
This is a consistently great hotel!😃
- 3/5
Overall, charming old school property located in the heart of downtown Dallas. Nice staff, attractive property, I liked the gym, pool on the roof, and the lobby area is beautiful. Not happy that that the body wash canister was empty when I arrived and never refilled during the stay, charging the customer a "tip" for a mini-bar transaction is a new low for the hospitality industry, and the overall value proposition simply wasn't good.
- 5/5
Service all around is top of line. Great spa. Fun and relaxing pool.
- 4/5
Room was not ready at check in but staff quickly found a substitute so only a minor inconvenience. Service is excellent. Some remodeling project was underway so couldn’t enjoy the full effect of the historical property. Location is excellent if you don’t mind walking around street people sleeping on the sidewalks when venturing out.
- 5/5
Great historic hotel well modernized.
- 5/5
the hotel was excellent i had no problems.
- 5/5
Extra ordinary serivces, great restaurants, pet-friendly, and lots to do.
- 5/5
A few pros: The staff are welcoming but some of the youngsters are a bit loony. The overall appearance and architecture is to die for; the hardwood floors and classis Titanic era style captivates your longing to lounge around all day in the foyer. A few cons: The food is mid tier and could use a little more fixing up. We had the steak fritz and the meat wasn't the highest grade. (French Room Bar) The French Room Bar was dark and dimly lit, so if you want to see your food, do not eat here. In contrast, the French Room Tea Room is well lit and shines bright like the sun. The room was overall great. Huge space to do many activities, large walk in closest and large bathroom. The toilet paper could be a little softer, but the overall stay was fantastic. We stayed here because we went to the Dallas Symphony House.

Unsafe / high homeless and very rough population all around the area. I can see that they are working on making it better.
- 5/5
Smooth, excellent, comfortable!

Really special getaway. We loved the historic public spaces (and spent a lot of time relaxing on couches in nooks), and our room could not have been more comfortable. Great view of the city, especially at night when the lights comes on. Front desk staff were over-the-top welcoming, including for special requests (an umbrella when it started to rain as we were walking out the door for our dinner reservations). Highly recommend for a city getaway.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. In Dallas for our anniversary weekend. We felt pampered and welcome from the first moment we pulled in to valet the car. Beby at check-in was friendly and helpful. We were able to upgrade to a suite. The hotel staff are friendly and quite accommodating. We felt very welcome and the room was extremely relaxing.

- The front desk was so friendly and helpful. We had an early start and there was coffee out before the coffee shop was open. Amazing. - We had our dogs with us and the staff helped us understand the best place to walk them, which elevators to use, etc. - Now for the star of the show… valet. I forgot to leave my key in my car (stupid, I know). I didn’t discover it until the morning. They somehow figured out how to park it without it. There is probably some commentary here on how easy my car must be to steal… but they were so kind about my mistake. I really appreciate their help with everything!
- 5/5
Such a classic hotel. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely personable and attentive. 10 of 10.
- 5/5
Charming place. Very good service and location.
- 3/5
Checked in approx 15 mins before early check in fee so clerk said would charge only half - stepped out of line then decided to check in and pay fee but new clerk said no need to pay fee room has been ready… ridiculous up charge for obviously no reason!!!! Air conditioning not great. Disappointing. At restaurant sat at table that wobbled even though empty. Asked to move and staff seemed pissed. Person seating us didn’t look up or acknowledge us until finished texting.
- 5/5
The hotel is excellent. The pillows in the bed were poor in my opinion. But overall the hotel is excellent. One bad thing is parking. At $60 per day, the cost is excessive and unnecessarily high. It should be half that amount or less.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Super quiet love the dining options
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are excellent. The hotel helped us after a vrbo mess up and I appreciate all they did.

Must stay! Loved!
- 5/5
The hotel lobby is so beautiful and cozy. I love the decor and ambiance. Even the fragrance is so nice!
- 1/5
very overpriced parking bar and restaurant very loud and crowded the public areas feel like your in a train station
- 5/5
Got the experience of a vintage downtown hotel. The overnight parking is expensive.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel! Plenty of options for food and drinks inside hotel. Garage is just before hotel and you do t have to stress over finding a parking spot downtown. You do have to pay but worth it. Nice spacious rooms with huge tv’s.
- 5/5
They handled a situation upon our first night there quickly and offered us breakfast coupons (linens had not been changed were mysteriously “wet” in the middle of the bed!). They immediately sent up entire change of linens and were very apologetic.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
It was fun. The elevator in from the 1st to 2nd floor was out which made it difficult for my mother to get around since she is in a wheelchair. She had to be escorted everywhere we went during our stay which felt limiting. It is such a gorgeous hotel I just wish we would have had more availability to explore more of it if we had that accessibility and accommodation.
- 5/5
Very accommodating, attended a wedding and it was gorgeous in every area. Good food, great service.
- 5/5
Fabulous service. Beautiful hotel.

All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Valet was convenient and check in/check out was easy. We didnt get to experience any of the restaurants inside, but the drinks were amazing. Loved the option for mocktails! Will be back.

Gorgeous. Loved our stay!
- 5/5
Wonderful property with execellent dining.
- 4/5
The Adolphus is a beautiful property, great location, and has friendly service. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of excellent was the bed and pillows didn’t seem as comfortable compared to other properties.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay and the staff was fantastic!
- 5/5
10/10 only thing I didn’t like was the TV was too small in the rooms! Need bigger tv! Besides that perfect hotel just amazing
- 5/5
This is an old-world-made-current, one of a kind, gem of place. Five stars through and nearly through. My only caveat is that the hotel spa is not particularly impressive; not up to the grand experience of the rest of the hotel. A stay at the Afolphus is very expensive and worth it. I can't imagine staying at any other place in Dallas.
- 5/5
The Marriott Autograph collection of hotels NEVER fails!! All of the properties we’ve stayed at have been first class!! Clean. Well appointed. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. 5* all day long!!!
- 3/5
We are given a room with a walk in shower, with a short shower curtain,so the water gets in the the tiled floor when you shower that does not dry up easily even if you put a towel around it.It is a big fall hazard.Otherwise, the staff were great and the service excellent!
- 5/5
Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was tasty. Staff was nice. Hotel is centrally located near all of the main attractions in downtown Dallas.
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay

- 5/5
A really grand hotel
- 5/5
Our go to property when in Dallas. Perfect rooms for our family.
- 1/5
The lobby was great; very welcoming. The rooms, however, were subpar. The suite was not a suite - it was a small room. The valet took over 20 minutes.
- 5/5
We love the Adolphus! We’re repeat customers and our stays have all been excellent. The lobby bar has great service and the high tea is a great experience. They go over and above decorating for Christmas.
- 5/5
Fantastic place, excellent food and gorgeous accommodations. Loved the giant Christmas tree and fire. Perfect romantic getaway.
- 5/5
Amazing! Love the adolphus. Beautiful lobby, bars, and decorations. We stay every time we come to Dallas.
- 3/5
Many shortcomings in a beautiful building. Check-in staff super cheerful, but our person was very difficult to understand and not especially competent in finding the kind of room we booked. She and others said the room I booked does not necessarily look like the pictures of it online, as if I should have known that. Exec King suite was supposed to have a couch, but they didn't give one. Breakfast restaurant host was gabbing on phone and rude. They advertise local car service, but after making us wait ten minutes told me their single car for that purpose had warning lights and was unusable. Housekeeping didn't come, so no coffee this morning. No tea in the room ever. Never any compensation offered for their deficiencies. It is a beautiful hotel, especially at Xmas.
- 3/5
Bed was hard. Had a back ache after first morning. $65-$75 was added each night for fees and taxes of all kinds. Room service was VERY expensive. Parking was exorbitant as well.
- 5/5
Body wash and shampoo could use a upgrade
- 5/5
Loved this hotel! So much to do within the hotel itself and very centered.
- 4/5
Beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the hotel lobby. I was disappointed my reservation to have a Chalet on the rooftop was not honored. The cabana we were given instead was super cold. I changed my reservation from 4 to 6:45 because thats the time I was given for a Chalet. I would have kept the 4pm time while the sun was out had I known I would be in the cold air. Crystal was the manager who switched up when I visited the roof on Friday. Shatara, the server assigned to our cabana was wonderful and provided superior service, but she couldn't make up for the cold.
- 3/5
It’s a very nice hotel but we waited for valet 25 minutes and we ended up calling a uber
- 3/5
Towels were scratchy, bed comfortable, a/c worked well.
- 5/5
They were amazing! Considering that hotel has been open since 1912 it looks fantastic! Christmas tree was beautiful. Staff was wonderful! Great visit!
- 5/5
Very attentive staff and extremely welcoming. Room was quiet and clean. Beds very comfortable.
- 5/5
Very enjoyable experience. Will definitely stay there again!
- 4/5
It was a beautiful hotel but service wasn’t good.

Great
- 5/5
This stay goes down in my list of top 5 favorite hotel stays of all time! The service from the time we valeted our car through the time we checked-out was absolutely unmatched. The holiday decor was mind blowingly magical as well. I plan to make this a yearly holiday staycation now.
- 4/5
Dining options are diverse and delicious. Overall, the Aldolphus is a great choice for a stylish stay in a fantastic area, despite the occasional lack of warmth from the staff.
- 5/5
It was good
- 4/5
Valet non-existant as the parking is seperate from the hotel so nobody to take and remove baggage from the room. That is annoying.
- 5/5
I appreciated the variety of food and bar choices, everything from an upscale French restaurant to The Rodeo Bar with live music. It is a BEAUTIFUL building inside and out. The service was spectacular. The computers were down at check out and Jenna and Ryan were a great help.
- 5/5
Very nice stay

Parking situation was very disorganized.
