Always delightful to stay at La Quinta

We love this little motel. The location is perfect, it is clean and comfy, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is our go-to motel when we are in the area.

The hotel is older, but it was clean. Rooms are a bit dark. Outside is older- but again, clean.
- 4/5
Was a pleasant stay but the weed smokers ruined it. Cigarette smoke in designated areas is great but marijuana smells like skunk and those smoking weed should be farther away from the hotel.
- 4/5
Great breakfast, clean rooms close to family.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
My dog could smell where dogs had been in the room. The fenced area for pet relief was nice. The mattress was lopsided on both beds, slanted toilet. Room was kept clean.

Beds are pretty uncomfortable, like sleeping on a concrete slab.
- 5/5
We have stayed several times. We like the location the rooms are comfortable the breakfast choices are good and the staff is friendly

Off a freeway . Very noisy . Rooms next to each have thin walls. Very loud if you have neighbors
- 3/5
We had a room right next to the freeway and it was very loud all night long, so we didn’t sleep very well. Otherwise, everything else about the hotel was fine. If you can make sure you can get a room that isn’t right next to the freeway, it’s a perfectly fine motel.
- 4/5
The property is easy to find - right off the freeway. Our room was clean although a bit dated. I didn't like the shower, I felt as though I was back in school!! Basically it was just a slanted floor with a drain, like gym locker rooms. We are thankful for the Inn, it was just a short distance from our engagement!! All in all it is clean, easily located and had friendly staff. There is also a Black Bear Cafe in the same lot.
- 5/5
Great deal on this perfectly located hotel. It’s safe & clean. Have stayed here multiple times and will again when in town for work.
- 3.5/5
Good basic breakfast. This is a standard hotel set up like a motor lodge with outside entrances to most rooms. They had a free electric charger which was great.
- 4/5
First time staying here and will be my go to when needed in San Ramon. Appreciated is location and access to everything.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 3/5
Parking was easy and good. The beds were clean but everything was kinda old and outdated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was fine but would stay somewhere else next time.

Location was great. Neighbor knocking at door around midnight telling us the walls are thin & to be quiet. We had tv on 8 volume , talking, and listened to a 45 second music video. This ruined the experience.

Really comfortable, modern and clean, with a great staff.
- 4/5
Great location. Nice size clean room. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Credit was charged three times for incidentals. Only two dropped off, one still pending.
- 4.5/5
Close to my destination Room carpeting smelled musty
- 5/5
Clean room. Excellent continental breakfast.
- 4/5
Very thin walls easy to hear the neighbors but otherwise pretty quiet and a convenient location for shopping and dining
- 3/5
Staff was welcoming
- 5/5
Loved all the staff, rooms so clean, had everything you could need in the room. Beds so very comfortable, shower was awesome! Breakfast very good, lots of options.
- 5/5
It was easy to get to, clean, wonderful breakfast, helpful and friendly staff and despite being right near the freeway, it was very quiet.
- 4/5
Clean and quiet rooms. Safe area.

The facility is old and had a strange smell. Additionally there was no elevator to the second floor which is extremely inconvenient when traveling for business and dressed in heels.
- 5/5
Staff was accommodating.

Clean room, wonderful staff and good breakfast.
- 5/5

Room & property was clean & well kept. Staff was hospitable.
- 4/5
Staff very friendly
- 3/5
Everything is good except for a red hair staff (others are ok)
- 2/5
Wasn’t informed rooms our house cap every three days only. Most of breakfast seemed frozen and or prepackaged. Desk clerks were unkempt.
- 5/5
Staff was great only miss is the broken ice machine. Not a big deal but it was a miss.
- 3/5
The room was dingy. I didn't want a handicapped room and the woman working the shift that evening was so rude and threw the documents at me to sign. She would not change the room. On a positive note, the rest of the staff were great and the breakfast was very good with a large selection of items including hot food.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and smell super nice :)
- 5/5
Staff was great and the room clean and ready when I checked in.
- 1/5
Room was super old! Mold In the shower
- 4/5
Staff was very welcoming, helpful. Rooms are dated but clean.
- 4/5
Stayed four nights no housekeeping provided
- 5/5
Clean room and delicious full breakfast bar!
- 3/5
The Staff was good and no complaints, but the overall cleanliness was not very good. I turned the Heater and a bad smell was coming out, the Carpet was not properly placed and a stained that was not removed or something on the carpet right next to the bed, was not removed and my shoes felt sticky. I stayed for a week for business and one day i left the hanger to clean the room and when i came back, nothing was cleaned, no new towels, etc. did not say anything because i was in crunch time and leaving in the morning.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, quick check-in, clean rooms - also very quiet
- 4/5
Staff great. Room was aged and needs to be upgraded. Curtains were thin and torn. The front desk was always courteous and helpful. Solid breakfast.
- 3/5
Freeway noise was very bad.
- 5/5
Excellent job, BW!!!
- 5/5
Everyone was extremely great, breakfast was a nice selection and changed daily. Will definitely stay there again!!
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff professional
- 4/5
Flexibility and the affordabllity.
- 3/5
This hotel/motel is very dated. The rooms are okay. I stayed 5 nights and they never serviced my room even once. The breakfast room is tiny, so even a few patrons and you’re stepping over each other. The diner next door was good and across the street is a shopping center with some nice dining choices. The town of Danville is charming.
- 5/5
Great experience

- 1/5
We asked to have our room cleaned 3 times and it never was. We even put the sign on the door each day and it was still never cleaned. Worst place we have stayed!
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Clean room, very nice and safe parking. Very delicious breakfast and very courteous and respectful staff. Kudos to Laura and Aimee. Both made checking in and out easy and fast. Great staff you got Best Western.
- 4/5
Great room, great location.
- 4/5
It was fine
- 2/5
The room smell moldy. The carpet is derty and smells bad like it never been cleaned before. Breakfast was good
- 4/5
Good stay! My room smelled like a locker room. I suspect carpet clean and a good airing out and clean AC an replace the filter should help.
- 4/5
Good location and quiet. Starbucks nearby.
- 5/5
Great staff, good breakfast
- 4/5
Room was clean, check in easy.
- 2/5
Hotel is older and could use some simple updating. Carpwts im halls heavily stained and in room as well. Rooms very musty. Pool is very small. Bed is okay, several ligjts in my room didn't wiek and AC is loud. Near freeway so lots of road noise. Restaurant next door.
- 4/5
Best Western in Danville is a great value and in a location that can’t be beat for this area! It has your basic amenities and is very clean! The room felt spacious and the shower pressure was great! Free breakfast had multiple food offerings, including hot food items. Would stay here again for a night or two.
- 4/5
Only reason for the 4 stars is because upon arrival we had to inquire where are room was, how to get there, etc. May have just been a new employee? But everything else was good. Close to downtown, clean, and for highway being so close pretty quiet. We will go there again.
- 4/5
Decent stay
- 4/5
Easy access off freeway and Black Bear diner shares parking lot, along with gas and circle K. More nice dining across the street. Local to everything.
- 4/5
The stay was fine overall. The room was clean. Except the rug. I walked around barefoot in the room for over an hour. And the bottom of my feet were black. So that meant the carpet was filthy. It looked clean. But it obviously was not. Other than that the area was quiet and decent area.
- 5/5
We have stayed at this property at least 10 times. Always a wonderful experience.
- 1/5
Terrible location room smelled like paint thinner
- 5/5
Great place for my stay in Danville.
- 3/5
Did not like.
- 5/5
No complaints. I’d come back.
- 3/5
Clean but outside rooms are small for four people.
- 5/5
Great location for us and nice place to stay
- 4/5
only overnight stay, but all good...
- 4/5
Excellent customer service ‼️Building was old but very clean.
- 4/5
We spent 4 nights. The ac didn’t work so room was very warm. I told them on Friday am. They did replace the entire ac on Saturday and it was a huge improvement in the comfort of the room. Staff is very pleasant and well executed breakfast.
- 3/5
Rooms need updating-carpet was smelly and the a/c is really loud. Also no soap in bathroom sink.
- 5/5
Comfortable room, nice staff, good breakfast every morning, and free electric car charging station.
- 3/5
The bathroom toilet was too low and the shower/toilet room was very small.
- 4/5
It’s comfortable enough but our tv didn’t work so we ended up moving to a new room the 2nd night.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5

- 5/5
Fruendly owner
- 4/5
Overall a very convenient stay. 2nd time here. Will stay again. The carpets need a cleaning very badly. We had to throw our socks away. Otherwise excellent especially for the $ & location.
- 4/5
It was a good place to spend the night.
- 5/5
Customer Service was amazing!
- 4/5
Cons: freeway noise, some noise from other rooms Overall: good value for money
- 4/5
Short stay. Appreciated that you had a discounted room last minute on the bottom floor. Had a doctor’s appointment in Danville. Room was a little old and run down but worked for what we needed. For $170 a night we would have hoped for it to have been a little remodeled. But again, it worked for what we needed.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The area felt safe and welcoming, which was perfect for our family getaway. We can’t wait to come back and create more memories here!
- 5/5
Liked the room. The hot breakfast was good. Property was kept well with nice green landscaping. The front desk receptionists were very nice. We've stayed here before and will again.
- 4/5
Peace
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was a little musty and they offered to put me in another room. I’d stay here again.
- 5/5
Only problem i had was getting the coffee machine to work since the putlet next to the coffee machine doesnt work! Found an outlet and was happy ingot my coffee
- 5/5
Quiet an relaxing stay
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable stay.
- 5/5
Check in was easy and fast
- 4/5
Breakfast was not very good, same or similar everyday
- 4/5
Nice private owned Hotel
- 4/5
My husband & I came to Danville on an anniversary trip. This hotel was recommended to us by some friends & we were not disappointed. Though the building is older, the interior was updated, clean, & very welcoming. Our King room was spacious, comfortable, equipped with everything we needed, & the shower had excellent water pressure. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Location is close to all my needs, staff friendly and efficient, room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Very clean property. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 4/5
Comfortable hotel. Tidy rooms. Daily housekeeping. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
I live locally but needed a place to stay with my 2 small dogs while we did some work on our house. I had a corner room in the back near the parking lot. Perfect with the dogs. It was super quiet, besides people walking to and from the parking lot. I was working remotely, and the wifi was great. Bed was very comfy. The staff that I interacted with were all very, very nice and friendly. There is a diner connected to the hotel, and across the street are a bunch more restaurants and shops. If you drive about 5 minutes over the freeway, you've got downtown Danville. Great location, right off the freeway. I would definitely stay there again.
- 2/5
It was ok
- 5/5
Very clean and well taken care of.
- 1/5
The room they stuck us in was terrible. It smelled so bad, my wife was dry heaving. The staff there was wonderful and they tried to get us another room, but it was all booked up. Efforts to spray down the room with potpourri were made, but it did not help, so we left and found something else.Still waiting on our refund Expedia.
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff but dated
- 2/5
Old. Needs work. Leaky toilet. No response
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and kind.
- 3/5
It was OK.
- 2/5
This property has changed over the years and now seems to be used primarily by construction and other workers. I encountered no problems but it did feel less safe especially since there was very minimal staff and the doors open up to outer hallways.
- 5/5
The breakfast was excellent..not the usual same ole same ole, But..real choices—fresh bagel, english muffin or even regular toast. Heartier eater cud choose bacon, eggs, or waffle. OJ, hot coffee, or cold clear water, yogart or cereal to add fresh milk from a pitcher. So convenient to Iron Horse Trail for a long bike ride..or to dine at nearby restaurants via car. Parking free, convenient, close..clean hallways and rooms.and the staff was eager to please. Danville is charming and contemporary. We will return.
- 3/5
Room was OK. Somewhat outdated and in need of maintenance (TV remote was old and no longer worked fully even with new batteries, microwave made lots of noise when operating). Breakfast was basic but appreciated
- 5/5
The staff is very pleasant and personal and the place was very quiet.
- 3/5
The room smelt like animal urine, ewww
- 4/5
I booked a room for family visiting the area. They liked the room with the exception of it smelling like mold and mildew around the AC unit. Free parking and breakfast are a plus.
- 2/5
Did not get the actual accommodations requested. Reservation was made w Expedia and as per Best Western, Expedia made the error to offer a suite which was the accommodation we needed. The Best Western staff was professional and gracious and did provide the adjoining room at a discounted price.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The staff is excellent and every aspect of the hotel is top notch. Easy walking distance to a great restaurant across the street. Very at a low rate and wasn't expecting such a good experience. Pleasantly surprised.
- 2/5
The property was conveniently located just off the freeway in an area with dining and shopping
- 3/5
I paid extra for a patio that pretty much looked out on a busy street which then when the emergency vehicle went by at 3 AM it woke me up. Two mornings in a row I put out the door hanger to have my room cleaned before I got back and both times they didn’t do it. I had to go ask for more towels because they never serviced my room the three days I was there.
- 4/5
It is a clean and easy place to sleep if you need to be in this area. We appreciate that they allow pets as we travel with our precious Maltese dog. The accommodations are basic but comfortable and CLEAN. The staff was friendly and efficient.
- 5/5
It was a hot day and I arrived early and to my surprise they gave me an opportunity for an early check in!!!! Thanks
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly - gave us a call prior to our visit along with accommodating a slightly early check in so we would be on time for a wedding event we were in town for. The room was clean and met the expectations of the booking.
- 3/5
There is a musty smell in each room I looked at.(3 total) The upper floor feels like one is entering a pre-war space.
- 5/5
Very gracious staff and great location!
- 5/5
My dog loved the property.
- 4/5
Predictably good after many stays, and pet friendly
- 1/5
I booked the room thru hotels.com When I arrived they asked for a $100 deposit to check in. I don't know why I needed a deposit since my room was payed for in advance. I checked in and went to the room and the room smelled disgusting like body odor dirty the carpet was worn and wrinkled. I went back to the front desk and asked for a refund and they said because I booked thru hotels.com I need to contact you. They said they refunded my $100 deposit but that has not happened and now I have a $115 charge on my account. Now I am wasting my valuable time trying to get my money back. I disputed the charge with my credit card company because you are not helping me resolve this issue. After traveling all day from Florida to Danville I was exhausted and I did not stay in the room but stayed at a nice clean hotel down the road and I have a receipt to show that
- 4/5
next door to restaurant
- 1/5
I had reserved this room for one of my staff members and he left after the first night. Said the air wouldnt stop blowing and the bed/pillows were very uncomfortable. I was dissappointed becasue it was his first week with us and he had to move hotels
- 5/5
Very beautiful area staff have been very accommodating
- 1/5
Terrible and dirty and run down. I’d like a credit
- 4/5
The staff were exceptional, the pool was fine (it's not heated and very small but great for a quick refreshing dip) and the breakfast was fantastic compared to similar motels. The room wasn't quite ready at check-in but there was a lobby with seating. The carpet in the room was absolutely gross and turned my socks black within minutes; generally the room could use some updating but really other than the carpet I was more than happy. Great water pressure in the shower and their accessibility options were great. There is a Black Bear diner attached and a convenience store right there, and a number of restaurants across the street as well as a 30-mile walking/biking path across the street.
- 5/5
Friendly check in and out. A great breakfast selection
- 5/5
Super easy check in, very convenient, clean, comfortable, and pet friendly.
- 4/5
Older property but rooms are updated. Service is excellent
- 5/5
Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. The breakfast was extraordinary for Continental very nice. The grounds were beautiful with the plants and flowers. The room was nice. And comfortable bed. Overall very nice hotel
- 5/5
Whenever I am in the east bay area I always stay at this Best Western. It's right off the 680 and there are several dining options within a very short walk. There's nothing fancy about this Best Western, it just gets the job done.
- 5/5
Happy with the rooms and ease of the process.
- 4/5
The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly and informative. The hotel is definitely old. Some rooms exit outside, and some are into a poorly ventilated hallway. (Didn't smell bad, but definitely stuffy). We had an upstairs room. There is no elevator which was fine with us and the gentleman at check in confirmed that we didnt mind before assigning us a room. The room was pretty stuffy and the AC was pretty noisy, but got the room cooled down. The fridge was hot. Would've been nice if that was cold already. Pillows and towels were great and plentiful. Mattresses were old and sunken in the middle. Sink faucet sprayed all over. The large TV was nice, walls seemed insulated enough, and the breakfast was great. Overall, the hotel is definitely old and outdated. But the kind staff does what they can and it was a decent budget option right off the highway.
- 5/5
Check in with Patty was wonderful, she got us in early.
- 5/5
Excellent staff and nice and clean and quite
- 4/5
Note hotel is BEHIND Black Bear Diner. Stayed in #210 family suite, no elevator. Loved the quiet (no rooms around it!) and location very convenient. Room was comfortably large but bathroom rather tight, good toiletries but oddly no hand/body lotion? W2W carpet in poor shape, definitely needed replacement as it had huge ripples in it from being vacuumed. Decor colors rather dreary. Parking easy altho layout is somewhat confusing at first. But not much choice in Danville, unfortunately.
- 2/5
Rooms I requested were patio rooms. 1 was ready the other delayed then when given the key the room was clearly still occupied Then the 2nd room was moved to the 2nd floor no where near the other family room. At check out we’re accused of breaking a window!
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Easy to get to and near several excellent restaurants as well as a gas station
- 5/5
This hotel has interior rooms that are quiet and just wonderful. Book a patio room, I stay at this hotel every time I travel to the area. Excellent price, includes breakfast and a gym pass.
- 5/5
Convenient.
- 5/5
Very accessible off the freeway.
