Reviews
The hotel is praised for its prime location, with many guests highlighting its proximity to Union Station, Coors Field, and various dining options. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness are also frequently mentioned as positives. However, several guests have complained about the high cost of parking and issues with room cleanliness. Noise from trains and the AC unit are also mentioned as cons.
- Prime location near Union Station, Coors Field, and dining options
- Friendly and helpful staff
- High cost of parking
- Issues with room cleanliness

Property serves a purpose if in the area. It is otherwise not well maintained and slightly icky. Downtown area is what you’d expect from a city. Homelessness, etc. Overall I expected better due to other reviews.

Clean room, well maintained. Good on site restaurant. Easy walking to Union Stn, Coors Field.

Great central location.

Excellent value for the price!
- 5/5
Good morning coffee provided downstairs. Restaurant inside of hotel with a fairly limited but good menu. Restaurant had great design and furnished extremely well. Numerous televisions and also outside dining. Very good location. Coors field is about.5 miles away or approximately a $15 Uber. Major grocer across the street with inconspicuous design. When in Denver, I will stay there again.

55 bucks for overnite parking is price gouging. No one would wanna leave their car on the street overnight in that neighborhood.
- 4/5
Clean room and property, good location behind union station and coors field; very walkable to 16th street mall! Onsite restaurant was delicious and convenient. My only complaint is that we had to pay extra for onsite parking.
- 4/5
Great location. Can find most things in walking distance. Vale was great but be mindful you will be charged each time you use vale no per day. Staff kind and helpful
- 4/5
Super great location. Very good quality with the room. The only thing was when the AC would kick on the furnace would make a loud bang like someone slammed their door nextdoor. It woke me up every time. Other than that the room was spectacular and staff was so nice and welcoming.

The hotel staff were very courteous and respectful and treated us very well. Rooms were clean and in pretty decent shape. My only issue was that the valet parking was an addition $55 a night. Not sure how safe it is to leave car street side, but no lot to self park was disappointing. Free coffee was great, continental breakfast would have made it even better or heck, discount at the recent next door.

Very clean and great location. Restraint bar connected to the hotel had good drinks and good food. Staff were very helpful. Not a big fan of the scan your own items in the snack section. Items I chose were not loaded in the system and the desk person had to come over and load them in so I could purchase the items. Can we just buy them from the person at the front desk?
- 5/5
Had a great stay at the Hilton Garden in. I came in on the California Zephyr train in the morning and was able to check in early for my room. It’s an easy walk to Union Station and also Coors Field. Thanks for a great stay.

Decent hotel overall Staff tried to charge me higher price than what booking told me. Then they blamed on booking sending through the wrong rate and the systems not talking to each other.

Dirty towels in our room when we got there, complimentary water bottles had already been opened and drank when we got to our room. Housekeepers don’t clean rooms all the way. Pool was closed. Do not recommend.

The bed was very good. Very close to union station and coors field. Store and starbucks next door.

Great staff and amazing location
- 5/5
This hotel is close to my office and the staff is always friendly.
- 5/5
Parking is super limited and expensive
- 5/5
A perfect hotel to stay at that is close to everything or close to methods to get to everything. The pool is not deep enough for you to down unless you are putting effort into it. Fitness center is good for those who are allergic to the outdoors. I chose to go to other places so can not comment on the attached dining options. Neighborhood is in transition but safe for the most part.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel and great staff everyone was very friendly and helpful.. my one complaint is that the pool heater was broken so we weren't able to use it
- 4/5
Very good

- 4/5
Staff and everyone were friendly. Only thing I can note is that it’d nice if it were mentioned that use of the valet to park onsite is required. Parking is already $50+ a day, so it’d be nice to have self service to avoid additional costs to tip the valet driver. Not a huge deal, but just a small thing to note. Otherwise, the stay was fine.
- 5/5
Great location, great hotel, gym and pool were a great plus as well!

Pet and human hair in the sheets in the bed. Genrally not in great condition, faucets tarnished and couch cushions stained. Front desk staff was super friendly and helped with extra toothpaste.
- 4/5
Plumbing fixtures were quirky. sometimes we had to let the water run a long time to become cool enough to use.Weird! Lavatory faucet was stiff and hard to adjust for both temperature and flow. Denver may be facing a critical water situation. Time to get with the program!

The main reason for selecting this hotel was the proximity to the Train Station. I could not cancel my second night (my day tour was cancelled) because I booked through a third party.

There is not an airport shuttle for this property. Hotel is in need of a makeover.

Hotel location is good, staff was welcoming and attentive to requests. Hotel was clean. The restaurant is average and service was not great. My main complaint is once you turned on hot water it took almost 5 minutes to get cold water from the faucet.

The cost of overnight parking is ridiculous! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. We loved the proximity to Union Station.
- 3/5
I liked the location to attend the Colorado Rockies baseball game. It was a short walk and plenty of lighting when it was dark. Not stricken with homelessness like other areas are. The way I was treated at check in was awful. I will not ever stay there again. The high-priced valet parking was ridiculous, especially when I took my dog for a walk and witnessed the valet drivers moving the cars so fast you could hear the tires screech. The area is also near construction was also not very good.

It was a great stay!! the bed could’ve been comfier though. Staff was friendly and that is always a plus!
- 4/5
Nice spot right in downtown Denver. Everything was great except elevator was giving people problems. Staff seemed aware of it but largely unconcerned about it. Other than that great stay!
- 3/5
The pool was ICE COLD (couldn’t even go in) The location is great for Downtown Denver - but be forewarned the crackheads are ABUNDANTLY EVERYWHERE!
- 5/5
The pool was clean and warm! The rooms were quiet and comfortable. I did call down to the front desk twice for pool towels and never received them.
- 4/5
They don’t clean the rooms everyday
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean room
- 4/5
For the rate, I was hoping for at least a continental breakfast. The iron in our room was very old and damaged but the staff replaced it quickly. The pool had no more towels when we arrived around 9pm. We will be back!
- 4/5
No pets. Satisfy. Convenient place , next to Union Station.
- 4/5
solid, they upgraded us for our anniversary. it was also a great location.
- 5/5
It is about 5 to 10 minute walk from the Union Station. The hotel is quieter than those in the downtown area. However, you can still hear traffic from time to time. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff were very helpful and courteous (except one in the restaurant). The room and the public area were clean. I would not mind staying here again.
- 4/5
It's close to train. It's pricey.
- 3.5/5
The location. Close enough to restaurants to walk. Friendliness of staff. In-room microwave was dirty. Only three bath towels in a double room with housekeeping every third day. Fan in bathroom did not work so mirror steamed up. Attached restaurant was terrible service wise and food wise. Parking is $55 per night.

- 5/5
Nicest staff. Always clean and quiet. Big rooms, Keurig, coffee makers, digital valet system was excellent. We love staying here each time we are in Denver. So much to eat and do around the hotel. Perfect place to stay if you’re going to a concert. Game. Or just a weekend away.
- 5/5
Close to union station and easy walk to coors field or 16th street mall. Friendly and helpful staff. Great stay!

- 5/5
Staff was wonderful.
- 5/5
There is a king soopers across the street and the hotel is within walking distance of everything downtown.
- 5/5
Grocery store across the street with a Starbucks inside. Many restaurants near Union Station (10 min walk).
- 5/5
Great location!
- 5/5
Loved it!
- 3/5
The suite was average. They literally just painted it before we got there so it had a very strong outer. Pillows and mattresses were mediocre at best. All the interior doors to the bathrooms make an incredible amount of noise when you slide them open. The pullout sofa and chair an ottoman in the room were quite dirty and could use a fabric cleaning.
- 5/5
Literally everything from check in to check out.. totally outstanibg
- 5/5
Great service and clean. The bar / restaurant was just a perfect fit for drinks and easy eating. Didn't park a car which saved money.
- 5/5
It was in a great location. From the clean room to the staff everything was wonderful.
- 5/5
Just a great overall experience

We had a very nice and spacious room with views of the stadium and sunrise. We booked very last minute due to abrupt change of plans - would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Hotel staff was also super nice and always helpful.

Walkable to everything! Safe neighborhood for a solo traveller. Very modern, clean and spacious facilities. Great view from the upper floors. It was all fantastic!
- 5/5
The rooms were good, customer service was great. Did not get a chance to check out the restaurant in the hotel, but heard it was good. Everyone was friendly. Vallet was easy and allowed you to come and go. Very central, easy to get to Union Station if needed to get to and from the airport.
- 2.5/5
The food was not good. Cold breakfast.
- 3/5
Squeaky bathroom door was really terrible with our young children. It woke them up all night
- 0.5/5
Left a blanket in the room. Called 15 minutes later and was told housekeeping would set it aside since we were coming back at the end of the week. It never was found. When I stated that housekeeping took it, the staff said they wouldn't say that. Lol. Where did it go? If housekeeping can't be trusted in the rooms, there's a problem. Then found the $55/night valet parking charges. It's disingenuous to advertise a hotel price that is separate from a valet charge that's double what other hotels charge. There was no offer to reconcile that our item was never turned in. Total disregard for our loyalty. We've stayed at this hotel 4x in the last month. No more!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, good view, great location and love the night staff!

Stay was amazing
- 5/5
Amazing customer service, Jolie was A+

The staff and accommodation for our needs. The bed could be a bit softer. It's pretty firm.
- 4/5
Nice view. Comfy bed. However, both the shower faucet and sink faucet in the bathroom don't work properly. Many times they just run hot water no matter which direction I turn to. I had to turn on and off a few times before I can get cold water. Also, the air duct connecting to the room seems very dusty, because every time the thermostat fan is on, my husband sneezed badly. My husband is sensitive to dust and mold. I suggest the hotel to check the bathroom faucets and the air duct.
- 5/5
Aye on both!!
- 4/5
Nice
- 3.5/5
Good location Did not know about the $55 valet until after booking. Misleading. Housekeeping woke us up before nine knocking on the door. Knocked again a little later. All well before check out time.

Great hotel, I love staying here anytime I come to Denver. Staff is friendly and accommodating and the location is excellent
- 3/5
Bed was lumpy. Hotel very average.
- 5/5
Overall very nice and good customer service though. I liked how convenient the restaurant is since it’s connected to the hotel. Didn’t rent a car in the trip but uber/lyft pick up was in the valet so it was super easy to do.

This is a GREAT hotel! Very conveniently located and super clean. The staff was friendly and got us checked in early which was a HUGE bonus. I would 1000/10 stay here again!

The staff at the front desk were very friendly, our room was comfortable and the location was great!
- 5/5
There was coffee and hot water with cocoa and ingredients, but breakfast is at restaurant next door.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. The pool was not heated, it was broken, but they offered swimming at another property. We didn’t have time for that, but it was nice that they offered. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. And the entire hotel had a lovely atmosphere and smells really nice. Grocery store across the street was super convenient, too.
- 5/5
Clean room, great shower, comfy beds and great location.

Amazing check in staff. Friendly valet. Nice room. Conveniently near a great dispensary, grocery and Coors field.
- 3/5
When I went to pay with my credit card I had on file, I was unable to pay because the Hilton had had a large hold on it and my multiple attempts to pay triggered a fraud alert. So I ended up canceling the reservation and spending half the day calling my bank (Christmas day ) and getting the hold lifted. I then went and booked it again and after an exhausting day of this along with seeing family & holiday plans, I went back to the hotel to check in and it was about 3am. Phil was immediately on defense, hostile and unaccommodating to say the least. He told me he was going to charge me early check-in and 1/2 price room rate in addition. I said that was fine as he was hostile and rude. Honestly, this man should not be working in customer service at all. He did not give me my breakfast voucher I paid for or any check in courtesy. Joy was lovely and helped me with my situation as everyone was extremely kind. The restaurant was excellent and I ate there about 4 times during my stay - the chicken & waffles were amazing! As well as the shower and toiletries as they use earth friendly products. The room was nicely furnished but there were stains on all the chairs and did not look clean so I had to put towels over them to sit down. All in all I will be back.
- 5/5
The street people must be urinating in the entry corridor from the big corridor because it smell like piss walking into the hotel

Amenities, cleanliness
- 5/5
We loved the place service was great for the most part, the only issue I had was one of the front desk ladies, every time I called down to see if they can notice valet to bring our car she would have a smart remark to make forcing us to come down and call the car while the first day we checked in that’s not what was told to us. Our first day they said if you need your car just call us and we will notify valet, that lady is as if I would bother her it happened twice with her. We stayed from 12/20 to 12/27. The other issue we had because we had 2 rooms once in a while the room key to my kids room would not work it started becoming frustrating in the end.

Checking in was a breeze and front desk was super helpful getting us situated in our room. Room was very clean and cozy. Had an issue with the remote but staff fixed right away!
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk are knowledgeable and friendly they helped us find fun things to do in Denver. They were personable and approachable and that truly made the difference in this stay compared to other hotels in the area. The restaurant the food was high quality and the service was excellent.
- 5/5
Very nice and in nice area. Grocery store across the street and walking distance to a lot of places.
- 3/5
Room was ok. But the refrigerator was not working. Hotel crew did absolutely nothing to help me as I struggled with my suitcase etc. I know it’s not really their job. But I was in distress. The restaurant was okay but overpriced. I was disappointed considering how much I paid for the room.
- 5/5
Location, clean, spacious, walking distance to restaurants.

Clean room, staff
- 3/5
Making sure the coffee pot in the room works. There was no hot water on day 2 of our stay so it was a cold shower. Even though the coffee maker didn't work, there was not any coffee pods in the room. Cleaning staff didn't do a good job cleaning but at least they left us with towels to use.
- 5/5
The staff are great. We love the location, the gym and connected restaurant. Everything is clean and quiet. Just perfect.
- 4/5
Great
- 4/5
Nice hotel, pricey valet with no option for public parking for cheaper nearby. It’s a great location if you are there for a baseball game, but otherwise it’s not near most restaurants and attractions you’d want to visit while in Denver. The staff was very nice and professional and the rooms were extremely clean
- 4/5
Great location for train transit, but shower water temperature took 15 mins to get warm - terribly inconvenient and uncomfortable. If not for that, it would’ve been a great stay.

The hotel itself is clean and staff are friendly. It's location is pretty good, although the area needs to be attended to to keep the sidewalks clean (pretty grungy).
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
However; there was a dog that started barks at 5 am til 8 ish a.m. on the 7th floor. There should be a separate floor for pet owners!
- 5/5
Coffee downstairs and cool hall carpeting. The service was very good too.
- 5/5
Very accommodating and the location was perfect for walking to all the destinations we wanted to visit!
- 5/5
The room was great, clean, and the location was in the right spot. There’s a mini store you can purchase items, snacks, frozen foods though no utensils were available and some of the lights did not turn on, but overall our stay was great and i’ll stay here if i visit Denver again
- 4/5
Great location. Staff very helpful. Close to Union Station.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Really the only thing I could complain about is how much you can hear your neighbor. I happened to have an obnoxious lady good thing I wasn’t in my room all day.
- 5/5
great place
- 5/5
The room was clean, all in working order. Service was fine - they kindly held our bags for a few hours after we checked out. Best part is the breakfast -- full, delicious breakfast from attached restaurant. We were visiting Denver without a car and this location was perfect -- plenty of walkable options and near the Union Station transit hub. I would definitely stay again.
- 2/5
First room we got was not cleaned properly. Many hairs found in bedding. Staff changed room but it was also in rough shape.
- 4/5
The restaurant was great! Very good service from Margaret (Maggie) our waitress! Food was delicious!! Very friendly hotel staff. Great location to walk to Union Station and the Milk Market. We would stay again but probably would not pay the extra for the panoramic view. Not worth the extra $100.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean shower pressure was perfect just missing something not sure
- 5/5
Very friendly staff! Prime location for transportation and food options. Parking is pricey.
- 2/5
room didn't have toilet tissue had to ask the clerk downstairs for more along with towels. I also asked if room could be clean while we were out for the day but came back to unclean room. Service was not great I would not stay there again.
- 5/5
Yes!
- 5/5
Staff was great, rooms were clean and I loved the location
- 5/5
Great visit close to everything including train station.
- 4/5
Staff was very good
- 2/5
Nobody could direct me where to get a phone charger. It’s 2025, it should be a basic amenity to have available for guests. The recognized it was my husbands birthday at the end of check in, and offered us one alcoholic drink voucher, and simply shrugged and said ok when we said oh we don’t drink. Put us in a room on the 4th floor facing traffic. Overall for 185 dollars it was the most mediocre experience I’ve had in 20 years of traveling.
- 2/5
Very cheap with gratuities like room coffee, water, and snacks. Room was very hot and fan had a high pitch squeal. Room service ends too early so can’t get a meal after 9:30p on weekdays.
- 5/5
Excellent. Room is comfortable, spotless and quiet. Accomodated a request for a walk-in shower with no delay;
- 4/5
location was convenient to train station and grocery stores

Great location to walk to bars, restaurants, etc. great restaurant in the hotel too.
- 5/5
Really good stay
- 5/5
Tons of things to do within a short walking distance or a quick Uber, free bus or reasonable priced train ride. I'm in Denver several times a year and the union station Hilton garden inn is my new go to place and the attached restaurant Woodie Fisher will be my first choice for dinner
- 5/5
The staff and parking staff were amazing! The room was clean and we had a wonderful time and experience!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, very comfortable room, and within walking distance from the train station.
- 4/5
Cleaning staff took a cardboard beer box that was by my laptop, nowhere near the trash. We were bringing the cold beer in the refrigerator to an event and the box to transport it was taken. Annoying.
- 5/5
I highly recommend ar Hilton Garden Inn Denver union Station. We received great service from the moment we arrived.”
- 5/5
Courteous staff, clean hotel rooms, comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Overall the positives outweighed that one negative.
- 5/5
Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Location was great and price was unreal
- 5/5
It was good overall. Would stay again
- 2/5
No body wash in the shower, no cold water at all after 5 minutes in the early morning. The water in the bathroom sink and shower were so hot, it was intolerable. We let the front desk know on saturday evening and were given 2 bottles of water for our dog to have water to drink at night. Let them know again sunday morning, they offered to send maintenance but we were already leaving. Valet was excellent and very polite.
- 5/5
Room was spotless with a wonderful view of Downtown. Hotel was perfect walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation. Jolie at the front desk was amazing - very kind, friendly, and had such great tips! Such a great experience for Downtown Denver stay!
- 5/5
The pool was ice cold… this was a reason we stayed but we could not enjoy the pool due to temp.
- 5/5
Great downtown location- about a 10 minute walk from the train station (direct from the airport) which is close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. Directly across the street is a grocery store if needed. Room had a mini fridge- small sundries shop by the front desk. Would absolutely stay here again 👍👍
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Clean, tidy, with restaurant on premises. The area was safe, but we thought there would be more to do within walking distance. I suppose if you were there for a game, that would be ideal. Downtown Denver is a disappointment after being in Breck and Golden.
- 5/5
It’s nice .. do not buy anything from the little store it’s ridiculous.. parking is 49 bucks ., you would think it would be free if your staying but nope .
- 5/5
Did not use the dining option. Walkable to the baseball game. Very clean. Staff very helpful.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Room and hotel was very clean.
- 5/5
Staff was sweet and offered me birthday drink coupons! Hotel was clean.
- 5/5
Staff was great, room was fantastic, clean and inviting. Hot water, bed was comfortable. The best part of the hotel is it's close to downtown, close to the rail that will take you anywhere.
- 5/5
Great location for attending a concert at Coors Field.
- 5/5
Super nice staff, restaurant n the hotel is amazing!
- 5/5
Breakfast was good. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea. Location was close to train station.
- 5/5
Front desk person was really sweet and helpful. Very centrally located- within walking distance of Coors Field and Union Station with restaurants nearby. Room was really nice and indoor pool area was great. Smart TV was good. Room was clean. The shower was warm and the spray was good. The connected restaurant was convenient and had a vegan burger. There is a full grocery store right across the street (King Soopers) which is convenient. Room had a microwave and small refrigerator. Coffeemaker had nice tea selection too. Hotel has a small convenience store on the first floor with drinks and snacks. Great stay. Front desk was really good about food deliveries, too. Good Uber pick up and drop off location. Worth the price.
- 5/5
Great location and just right size for our conference
- 5/5
Great stay as always! Cleans rooms, everything is near by.
- 5/5
Great location and service!
- 5/5
Decent hotel, would stay again
- 5/5
Really great stay! Booked room last minute so we could stay closer to downtown and it was a great choice. Walkable to everything, especially the trains
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at Union Station. It was in a good location in LoDo, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast at their restaurant was tasty.
- 5/5
Clean and very nice staff
- 5/5
Really fun restaurant! Nice history
- 5/5
The staff at check in and in the attached restaurant are absolutely amazing. I got recommendations for a different spot for dinner and it was the best meal I’ve ever eaten. The room was perfect. Clean, quiet, and had everything I needed.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Area around the hotel needs are revitalization
- 5/5
Very walkable part of Downtown Denver.
- 4/5
Great place to stay if you’re watching a show at the Coors field!
- 4/5
The property was great but the pillows were awful. That made for a rather uncomfortable night. It was as if there were no pillows. We will certainly bring our own if we stay there in the future.

While on the way from the airport to union station and the hotel we were notified by the hotel that they could not accommodate us anymore and we had been moved to another hotel. Once we go to union station we could no longer walk to the hotel an had to pay for an Uber to get to the new one. We could no longer walk to the concert and had to take public transit there and back. We will need to take public transit tomorrow or an uber to get to union station. We chose the original hotel due to location. The new hotel rate was cheaper than the original hotel so we we were downgraded but paid the same price.
- 5/5
Very good customer service!
- 4/5
Room was clean. Had a little issue with water in bathroom but was taken care of after call to front desk. Needed extra towels and they were very prompt in getting them to us.
- 1/5
There was mold in the shower. The male at the front desk didn’t show much care during check out. I showed him a picture.
- 5/5
Kindly Staff
- 5/5
Not to many local spots to eat but everything else made up for it
- 3/5
very noisy rooms, not the worth money paid
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, especially Bianca, Mason, and the bar restaurant staff. Robert the manager was also extremely accommodating!!
- 5/5
Great location for railway station and downtown. Friendly helpful staff and large comfortable room. Large quiet swimming pool and neat gym. Wouldbook here again.
- 5/5
I love Denver and downtown. Something for everyone!
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 4/5
Very good location and very well staffed
- 5/5
The staff was incredible. From the time we walked into the front doors to the time we checked out, we were always treated as valued guests! They were kind and attentive to our requests and even went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Great place close to Coors Field
- 5/5
Very very nice place to stay. Food choices everywhere in walking distance.
- 5/5
Very convenient.
- 5/5
Room (1005) was nice , clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of Coors Field. Convenient grocery store and restaurants in walking distance. All the amenities were working and available. Staff friendly during arrival/departure and stay. Hotel snack shop is very expensive I would recommend going directly across to the grocery store. 24/7 valet so you can come and go as you please. Hotel is secured. You will need a keep card to access the elevators and at a certain time of night the front doors lock. Overall great hotel and will stay there again when I’m in Denver!
- 5/5
No complaints!
- 5/5
Nice place, only stayed 1 night. Good restaurant. Easy check in. Close to train station and baseball stadium.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
You're walkable to downtown Denver right across from Union Station which was a wonderful way to get to airport for a very reasonable price. Restaurants around and in the Hilton were all good!
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. Very close to Union station. Convenient grocery store across the street. Lots of dining options. Close to Coors field. Good restaurant on premises. Very accomodating. Hannah was a great bar tender and server. Both greeters were exceptional. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
I would recommend this hotel.
- 2/5
For the higher price point it would have been nice to have working lights in my room, the tiles in the bathroom your peel off kinda a hazard when getting out of the shower and there were ant crawling on the floor of the bathroom. Not what i expected from this place..staff was pleasant!
- 5/5
So nice and close to the stadium!
- 5/5
Great comfortable room
- 5/5
Then a stranger walked in while we were getting dressed for the day. !!! We were comped for the stay but I won’t say it’s a safe place to stay!
- 5/5
Good play to stay close to union station
- 5/5
Almost got stuck on elevator #3, dropped 2”-3” twice. Felt like I was in final destination, pushed the door open button & it worked with elevator at least 6” below flor
- 5/5
Staff was nice. A/C - can't have a constant fan running so hallway noise was noticeable. Shower head fell off spout when I attempted to change the angle. I had to press it back in place and not touch it again. Had to use the bath mat to clean up the flooded area in the bathroom. I did the housekeeper's job by cleaning the floor. The white towel was dirty because the floor was never cleaned. The shampoo/conditioner/soap containers were lazily placed on the wall, not even plumb. Great American workmanship - 'Good Enough.' Wall sconces appear crooked on the wall. Starting to become a little shabby.
- 3/5
Representatives for the hotel, particularly front desk staff, set the tone for the stay...we were truly disappointed in her lack of customer service at check-in and check-out.
- 5/5
I had a lovely time at this property. It is accessible to downtown Denver, restaurants, things to do in the area and walkong distance to Coors stadium. Win, win
- 5/5
Easy walk to the train station. Grocery store across the street and Coors Field so close!
- 2/5
When I called for my reservation, they stated that they had free breakfast and free parking… When we arrived we found out it was $50 a day for valet parking only and there was no free breakfast. Additionally, the bathroom door only opened 1/3 of the way and after five days, they never sent anyone from service to repair the door. Also, we were on the seventh floor and the icemaker was broken so we had to go down to the first floor lobby and request ice every time we need it.
- 3/5
First, the parking fees seemed unusually high. Guests were being charged $50 per night, which is even more expensive than what I’ve paid for parking in Las Vegas during major events. It would feel more reasonable if hotel guests received a discounted rate, especially since some alternative parking options are located off property and not very convenient. Second, breakfast was advertised on Hilton’s website, but when my wife asked about it Saturday morning, we were told there was none available. Unfortunately, the staff member who explained this wasn’t very polite, which added to the frustration. Clear and accurate information on the website—and a friendlier delivery—would go a long way in improving the guest experience. On the positive side, our room itself was very comfortable. The AC worked well (though a bit loud), and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Overall, we still plan on staying with Hilton in the future because of the brand’s reputation, but I hope other locations are more aligned with what’s advertised and offer a warmer, more accommodating experience.
- 5/5
It was beautiful and the bathtub was amazing not to mention the view
- 5/5
Great vicinity to Rockies stadium and grocery store for ancillary items. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, and comfy beds. My only complaint would be that the restaurant within the hotel doesn’t deliver for room service. The Woodie restaurant service is a bit slow, but the food is good.
- 5/5
Great location. Very helpful staff. Nice big and clean rooms.
- 4/5
A few lights and bathroom fan did not work. As the kids say. This stay was “ Mid”
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
Loved the location and the service was excellent! The valets, all of them, were courteous and amazing at their job!!
- 5/5
Great location
- 2/5
Had a cold shower 2 days running.
- 4/5
Great location. Our room was on a very noisy street for Friday and Saturday. Sunday night was fine. The bar was wonderful!
- 5/5
The property was clean and safe with a hospitable staff.
- 5/5
My only recommendation is how the hotel handles Government Tax Exempt. I provided my tax exempt form and also provided the paper work the hotel asked to have completed and at the time of checkout the tax exempt had not been applied to the two rooms I had paid for. The requested documents were provided to the hotel staff the following morning upon check-in. I was their for 3 days.;
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Close to Coors Field and restaurants downtown.
- 5/5
The restaurant was very good and the valet parking worth it.
- 4/5
Great location, convenient walk from Union Station, river walk and LoDo area. Pool but no hot tub.
- 2/5
I liked he gym, the pool was big but cold, had to pay for parking 50 dlls a night
- 4/5
The hotel is in a great location and the staff is wonderful. The only negative is having a corner room near the road. The road noise was horrible all night long and it made it really hard to sleep.
- 5/5
Had a fantastic stay while in town for a baseball game with family. Restaurant on site is great. Would stay here again in the future.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff!
- 3/5
EV was not charged by Valet, no room service for a 4 night stay, had to go get towels twice because housekeeping was too busy
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Great gym and pool!
- 5/5
Room was large and comfortable. Restaurant on site had great breakfasts available for purchase and the staff was friendly. Valet parking worked well for our needs. Checked in quite late due to plane delay and Jen at the front desk was so helpful.
- 5/5
Pleasant staff. Excellent on site restaurant. Valet parking only.
- 5/5
Friendly and efficient staff at check-in & checkout. Our room had everything we needed plus it was spacious.
- 5/5
The staff at this hotel were wonderful and the room beautiful and convenient. Restaurant attached served great food. Breakfast is not free as in many hotels but it is convenient.
- 4/5
The barn door on the bathroom sounded so much like a train going through that if someone used it during the night, every one woke up.
- 5/5
Great location near the walking trails at the River
- 4/5
Hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Out “upgraded” room was fine - Mountain View was more of a view of the power conductors behind the hotel.
- 2/5
I expected more from a Hilton-branded hotel. Valet parking is the only option and costs a steep $50 per night — no self-parking available, which is incredibly inconvenient. To make it worse, the valet counter was understaffed which made coming and going frustrating. Housekeeping also left a lot to be desired. Trash in the hotel isn’t emptied unless requested, which is a basic service that shouldn’t require a special ask. There was an overflowing trash can by the elevator that sat untouched for two days — completely unacceptable. My room was located next to an active train line, which is on me for not researching better. Still, trains can be heard all night and start blowing their horns around 5 a.m., so definitely something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but it’s obvious they’re stretched thin. The issues here seem to stem from poor management and cost-cutting at the corporate level. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again and will look for another hotel next time.
- 4/5
We were originally in room 612. We were comfortable in that room but a plumbing problem developed where the cold water was hot do that the lavatory cistern filled with hot water and the shower temperature could not be controlled. Apparently all X12 rooms had this problem. We were then moved to room 426.Initially it had no room safe. The replacement had an unreliable keypad but we got round that. The bedside lamp had no shade. The restaurant seating was worn. All the staff were very helpful and they addressed the issues promptly when raised. The location is very convenient and we had a pleasant stay.
- 3/5
The shower did not work properly and the body wash had not been filled.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Fantastic! Slept like a baby!
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
Very clean. Room is what you expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Very good dining option in lobby which was a nice surprise. Free coffee in Kobby was pretty much un drinkable. H

- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
The location was an easy walk to Coors Field. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and the valet attendants were very polite and prompt in retrieving my car and even charging it when necessary.
- 4/5
Air conditioner made banging sound each time it kicked on. Not good for sleeping.
- 4/5
Thank you
- 5/5
The only down side was the rate for parking. Although very helpful to have a parking spot in valet, it was adding up by the end of my stay. Otherwise, a pleasant stay and i am glad i chose this property.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. Great place to stay if you are planning to attend a Colorado Rockies baseball game. Rooms were ver clean and up to date .
- 5/5
Nice stay. Great happy hour at the restaurant. Staff was very attentive and nice. Grocery store is right across the street which is convenient.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Nice area but very loud motorcycles at all hours of the day.
- 5/5
The Hilton Garden Inn in Denver was a great place to stay. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant served delicious food. We had a comfortable room with everything we needed. It was also close to shopping, etc. Very convenient.
- 3/5
Our room over looked the very large electrical power plant we had a room in the glass wing where no one comes to clean , bathroom door was hard to close it’s a barn style door , had to call maintenance and the front desk lady asked over and over again did you call front desk last night about it . I ended up slamming finger in door when I had to use force to close it and thy did nothing about it. Because I booked with 3rd party so she said I guess you get the bad rooms when booking thought Expedia ,also hall carpet was dirty with debris
- 5/5
Staff are great!
- 5/5
Great location and super friendly staff. Food amazing!
- 5/5
The staff was excellent. Especially with me being a visitor of Denver. They suggested places to eat and visits. The room was beautiful. I had a excellent view of the Rockies stadium too.
- 5/5
The beds were amazing and clean. Pillows get a 2 out of 5 in comfort but still not awful. Clean clean clean. Shower pressure 20 out of 10. Restaurant hooked to hotel was delicious and had awesome vibe and views. Hotel was so quiet you didnt even realize you were in a hotel.
- 5/5
We had a relaxing stay and everyone was so nice. The only issue I had and it was a small was that I had requested a full cleaning of our room for just one day and everything looked great except the bathroom toilet bowl had not been cleaned and I was not given a new bag in the ice bucket. Like I said it was not a big deal but it mattered to me. Thank you
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Denver. We came in for the Rockies game and were pleased at how close everything was to the hotel.
- 2/5
I love Hilton and I’ll always stay at a Hilton but this property the AC did not work. The room had a moldy smell.
- 4/5
Was convenient to Ball Arena
- 4/5
The location was excellent. The staff was helpful. We had to keep asking for our room to be cleaned. We never had enough towels unless we went to desk and asked for them.
- 5/5
great weekend in Denver. Convenient to dining and entertainment.
- 4/5
The ac was very loud
- 5/5
Great location if you want to stay in downtown Denver. There is a grocery store across the street, a couple of coffee shops, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Very clean and organized location.
- 5/5
Julie at check in was awesome! The hotel is located within walking distance to Coors Field, we were there for a ball game. Room was clean and perfect size. Water was nice and hot for taking a shower. For the most part was quiet, on final night there (Saturday) could hear train horn around 4am, but only noise. Bed and pillows weren't the best, but not the worst either. This was my second time staying at this hotel, would stay here again.
- 4/5
Everything was great except the shower needed cleaning. There was mold and the soap dish needed cleaning
- 5/5
The room is so big and awesome. Super nice and clean. Would like to stay longer.
