The location was fantastic. Close to shops and the beach. The rooms were clean, although I think the bathroom could use an update. However I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location by harbour and gorgeous small town centre. Breakfast was fantastic. So much choice including sausages, peppers/onion and scrambled eggs. Pool and hot tub great too. Close to railroad so heard trains...but this was exciting!

Location was fantastic! Close enough to walk to the pier or Main Street for meals. Super comfy beds. Only 1 set of washer/dryer.

Second time staying at this Best Western. I felt so welcomed every time I went through that front door. I honestly will stay here every time in Seattle area. The hotel lobby has a lodge like feel with coffee available and little a convenience corner with the essentials. The continental breakfast is superb, having just what you need to start your day. Very walkable to great food spots, a brewery, and a great beer bottle shop. Edmonds already being beautiful and the home of Rick Steves of Rick Steves Europe on PBS, Best Western Edmonds is the spot to relax and enjoy the the best of Seattle area!!

I booked this online last minute at 9 pm after a long day and deciding I just couldn't stay at a dark, dank smelly hotel I had booked and prepaid for. It had been a long, tiring day physically and emotionally which was made much worse by the bait and switch of another hotel. Best Western in Edmonds saved me and completely turned my visit around. The receptionist on duty got me quickly checked in, was so nice and welcoming, gave me a goodie bag. I felt so cared for. The room was clean, smelled great, had super comfortable beds with soft linens. I didn't take advantage of the included breakfast, but would have if I didn't have plans already. I highly recommend this hotel - would 100% stay here again. Great value for the money.

Love this hotel! Fabulous, friendly staff, large rooms that are actually quiet! You don't hear every word your neighbors are saying like some hotels. Great breakfast and easy walking distance to the beach. My 'go to' hotel when in Edmonds!

Very nice hotel; we stayed in April, so seasonal pool not open yet. Rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was wonderful. They even had a coin-op laundry room that came in handy for clothes that needed a wash after a trip to the nearby beach park. Staff was helpful and friendly - would definitely stay here again.

The room is always clean. The staff is always helpful. They always have a reasonable standard breakfast and they have a swimming pool. Sometimes they even have fresh hot cookies.

Pool and hot tub were closed and we weren’t notified until we arrived at the hotel, this was a huge disappointment since this is one of the main things my family enjoys on trips like this. I would have booked a different hotel if I had known this.

Breakfast was good

Although they say on their sign and advertising they have a pool and spa it is only open part of the year. My kids were most disappointed. They are near the ocean and most and you can get to whale watching in minutes.

The best place about this was the bathroom which was immaculate. My biggest problem was the reason I chose to stay there was because I got my car. I didn't have access to my car so I stayed there instead of going home as of convenience. And I read they had a laundry room but what they don't tell you is that the laundry room is quarters only didn't have cash so I had to walk to go get cash. Till then ask the lady for quarters which the customer service lady that was there early morning which seemed to be training sent me on the wrong direction and again I stayed there at a convenience because the price is pretty steep for what I'm getting and the bed was not comfortable at all

What a beautiful location and I got lucky and got the one bedroom suite which was awesome. As someone who is from Seattle, this is a great area of town to stay in.

Customer service and staff was great. Breakfast was good. Only complaint was the tile in the bathroom was so cracked, a peice of tile got stuck on my foot.

The staff was very welcoming and efficient. We arrived on the evening of February 26 after my husband had fallen and gotten some bad bruises. The staff person at the desk was very kind and helpful to us.

Breakfast was mediocre, cold eggs, fake sausages. No bottled water in room. 40 bottles of water coast $4 at Costco, 20 cents will allow the hotel to buy 2 bottles a day for each room. Considering the roo charge, that’s not much to ask.

Room was very clean, had fireplace/jacuzzi suite. The jacuzzi was very big,lots of jets.

Hotel was fine and clean but very noisy on the road side. AC in room was noisy and ground floor room let in all the road noise. Didn’t help that some sort of delivery truck showed up at 5am and unloaded right outside my window. Morning breakfast was good.

The breakfast was really bad. The eggs were like rubber, probably because the warming dish was on such a high setting it was overcooking the eggs. The bread products were stale, and please offer a much selection of jams/jellie. The best I could find was mixed fruit or apple jelly. Seriously who puts that on their test. I’d prefer honey or marmalade but would take strawberry, raspberry, blueberry etc. jam - not diluted juice that has been made into a jelly. Having to get water from a water fountain outside the cafeteria is ridiculous. Please offer real milk/cream, not little cups. But - the toaster worked great!!

Location is severely misrepresented. Instead of where stated it is on a very busy highway which also includes cars and trucks lining up for the ferry. From where our bedroom window was it would be a 20 second walk to the highway. Windows are not modern ( I have pictures) and let in all the noise, tried to use the AC for white noise but that was worse with a metallic grinding sound (I have video). There were bright lights (which shine directly onto the bedroom ceiling, even when trying the black shades which don’t work properly. The lights are used to illuminate flags which are not taken down at night so are allowed to flap violently and noisily in the wind. The suite did not have an additional side window as indicated in the photo’s. The carpet is very ugly and looks old.

The staff were very kind and attentive, listened to my concerns, and were responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here!

Room smelled like smoke. Booked two nights through Expedia. Turns out I didn’t need the second night. So I contacted Expedia. Who then contacted the hotel to see if they would give a refund. The hotel said, they would not issue a refund. I talked to the front desk and they said, that Expedia was the one who would not issue a refund. They didn’t seem interested in helping at all.

Pros: the staff (Kim) was very friendly. The standard room with a king bed was very spacious and the parking was also very convenient. Quick and convenient coffee. The location to downtown Edmonds was the #1 reason we chose the location, which proved to be right on. We'd stay again here if we have another downtown Edmonds event ~ we didn't find many options close by. Can't speak to the breakfast as we are off-site. The cons: it's a bit dated. The ceilings are low and hallways kind of tight. There was some moldy discoloring growing on the ceiling paint in the bathroom, which, while the room is spacious, the bathroom itself is very small and dated; the fan is also very loud. The shower on hot water had an issue with water hammer, and the lamp on one side of the bed flickered and wasn't usable. All just a little dated, but again, the pros outweighed the cons and all things equal, just fine.

Welcoming Hotel in a great location a few minutes from the water. Breakfast was excellent - great choice and good quality. Rooms are large and very clean. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants near by on Edmonds Main Street.

Right next to the ferry and whale watching. Hot tub was great and perfect thing after a day of walking. Vent fan in rm 216 needs tlc. Painfully loud. Bad bearing.

My upstairs neighbors decided to run around for an hour and a half from 5am to 630. The concierge told me that the room there was empty but he came to mine and heard the stomping himself. He called the room upstairs but got no response. Had no explanation and stomping went on for another hour. Simultaneously a dog kept barking somewhere near by . I was told that the guests are allowed to bring pets in. Train was passing by in the neighborhood almost hourly. I think the place should be called The Worst Western!

7 years since we’ve stayed before this time. The complex looks great . Even in better condition than 7 years ago. Very comfortable bed.

Bed was comfortable, kitchenette was great... they even provide basic stuff like plates, bowls, corkscrew, dish soap, a pot, pan, forks, spoons, and knives. But bring your own can opener. The pool was clean and hot tub very nice. Good location as a "home bar" as it is in walking distance of the Edmonds ferry, some restaurants and a donut/ coffee shop. Only 25 minutes north of Seattle. The only downside is that it literally exists in a parking lot for a gym and a dental complex. Location definitely not great for ambiance but as a place to stay it was good. Breakfast had a good mix of stuff including a build your own breakfast burrito option along with eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, cheese, salsa etc. Also a waffle maker, Breads, yogurt, fruit, Cereal, juice and coffee

WE booked it because it said it had pool and hot tub. got there it was closed..we were given a pass to locall health club we went there and no swimming avail. need to book in advance...no one said anything re that... it was a wasted nite

We only stayed 1 night for a local event and this hotel was perfect. The hotel was clean, easy free parking, quick check in and walking distance to some restaurants.

The staff was super friendly when i was checking in. My room was clean. Definitely some wear and tear in regards to the carpet and chairs, but that is to be expected. My room didn't have any weird odors and the a/c worked well. For 1 night sleep, the bed sufficed. I felt like I was going to roll off a few times.

perfect spot to go to the airport

I used to live in this area so I have know about it since 1999 when it was not owned by Best Western. It’s really a reasonable place to stay for Edmonds near the waterfront which is why I chose it. Everything was fine but the plumbing was very noisy in room 134. Pipes creaked loudly. The room has very thin walls and the party in the room above and next to us woke us up at 6 am with their walking around, doors slamming, etc. The beds were ok, ours was a suite with kitchenette but it didn’t have a freezer which was hard. Parking got tight in the evening. I’d stay here again. It is pet friendly which is nice. $30 per night pet fee.

Besides a little problem with the bedside lamps, it was great.

I am trying out for a triathlon and using the pool and gym really helped me keep in shape, as well as being located by the waterfront trail, I ran 6 miles.

This is our 'go to' place to stay when in the area. Other places just to do not come close. Everything is close by the hotel.

This is a comfortable hotel with a very good breakfast buffet! I had an accessible room, and everything was there as described: spacious, grab bars in shower, shower seat. Very comfortable bed, good wifi reception and helpful staff. I recommend the small walkway along and ecologically protected area that starts right at the hotel (good for walking your dog). Take-out food is delivered quickly and right up to the room. Would definitely stay again! -- The only two things that could be improved were the door to the room (heavy and hard to open, which should not be the case for an accessible room) and the speed bumps leading up to the hotel (a challenge for wheelchair riders; I got stuck a couple of times).

Welcoming and friendly staff. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Elevator is in excellent working order and fast. I really loved my room! It exceeded the hotel description and extremely clean. Streaming movies and shows from my apps to the TV was fun. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job with sanitizing. The lobby was decorated for the holidays and a pleasant environment to spend time. There were 3 complimentary newspaper options The lobby coffee bar, including Nespresso, hot tea, and lemon cold water, was wonderful. I appreciated the water stations to refill my own bottle. The breakfasts options were delicious all days and especially Christmas morning. There were gluten-free choices and refrigerated, high-protein options: milk, hard-boiled eggs, cottage cheese and yogurts in addition to hot food and fresh fruit. There was plenty of parking next to all entrances. The location is excellent!
