First the good: it is inexpensive, and the staff are extremely friendly. That's all. We had a reservation for 3 nights amd just left after the first one. The rooms are in terrible condition, and do not at all look like the pictures online. The sheets were covered in someone's hair. The furniture was all broken or missing parts. There's a new kitchenette with stove, but no pans. The shower head sprayed more water out the back than the actual spout so we couldn't bathe, which was the last straw. Save yourself the trouble and just stay anywhere else.

It was run down, needed repairs, and the should be ashamed to charge the rates they did for that place. As I went to check in, there was some inspector there saying this was the 3rd they had a violation. The next time would be a fine. No idea what that was about but it could've been any number of things. They had a water issue and had the water off for 2 hours trying fix it.

Hotel was almost the worst I’ve been In, manager tried to cover up issues and lie about details until I reminded him of what he himself personally said! Dishonest manager Nick!

Conveniently located just off the freeway, however you can hear the freeway at night. This is a good choice if you are on a budget. I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and checkin/checkout was hassle free

Avoid at all costs. Filthy property, filthy check-in area, absolutely filthy room. Mold and grime on the walls, ceiling panels falling out and cracked walls/tiles, floor laminate peeling and bubbling up all over, water damage all over. The AC unit's cord did not reach the socket, and when I used my own power cord it didn't work anyway. There was a half smoked cigarette between the mattress and box spring that already had unchanged sheets on them, in a non-smoking room. All of the furniture was in bad shape, only spotted one cockroach in my room and luckily no bed bugs but I witnessed enough other angry patrons storming back to their cells loaded with poison. There is a sign at the desk specifically absolving the staff of responsibility for lost valuables due to forced break ins, a car was left on rocks in the lot during my stay and I'm pretty sure I witnessed an almost violent domestic dispute. Staff was distant and clearly didn't care about anything, and I don't know what the housekeeping lady was doing... clearly not housekeeping, if my room was anything to go off of. Awful, trashy "hotel." I have never felt more unsafe and motivated to get out of somewhere in my life so far.

The room was horrendous. Bed spread had holes,roaches,dirty walls, half ass repairs. When I asked for clean towels. The ones I received was stained. I've been there before but wasn't bad. The only thing decent was the bed.

I never knew a room could ever be in such terrible conditions.. this was the nastiest room I’ve have ever booked. This place should be CLOSED. Guys please take my word when I say do not book here. Most unsanitary conditions I’ve ever seen. I felt so uncomfortable in this room I had to book a different hotel in the SAME hour & was told I would get a refund from NICK (the owner/manager) for how disgusting this place was. When it came time to refund me, NICK at the front desk denied my request. He did not honor it. He played games with me acting as if the issue was on the third party end of things. When in reality he just kept denying the refund. But Thank god I did booked through a third party and they were okay with taking the loss on my behalf & accommodating me. But if you book , you will want to leave this place as well & you will be scammed out of your money for not wanting to be in the living conditions that they have. You will thank me later.

Absolutely disgusting. The toilet wouldn’t flush and the heater wouldn’t work and I could hear the people above me walking back and forth like the running of bills ALL NIGHT LONG! Literally ALL NIGHT LONG!

Aww man I usually don’t do this but I had a friend come in town for the night and when I say we wasted money we booked this room I walked in and walked right out. I would not recommend they do no house keeping and bed has stains that I would not think a hotel would leave there

Room smelled very smoky even though it was a non-smoking room. Sheets had visible grime. Mattress and pillows were pretty uncomfortable.

Checking in was nice and simple. I was surprised that the area was quiet. All the anemities AC, Fridge, Microwave and TV worked fine and I have no complaints

Towels and bedding was really dirty. Television did not work. No ice machine, and soda machine didnt work either. Infested with cockroaches.

It was filthy. Dirty walls. Molded ceiling. Heavily stained towels. Debris on the bed that comes with heavy stains. Upon finally laying down, the bed still had most from body heat. Roaches. Staff are very unwelcoming and unprofessional. The whole facility is more than run down.

On August 6, I booked at your property. The room’s condition was unacceptable and posed a health hazard, including: • Holes in the bedding • Live roaches present • General uncleanliness and unsafe conditions It was not fit for occupancy and was forced to secure alternate lodging.

It's my fault for not reading reviews prior to booking. But...do NOT stay here. As a woman traveling alone with her teenage daughter, I did not feel safe here. The room smelled absolutely horrible. The bed cover had holes throughout the blanket. The door locks seemed flimsy. Everything looked dingy. The air conditioner didn't work. To their credit they offered to give me another room, but I did not want to stay. I was unable to get a refund due to the non-refundable policy that was listed when booking. Kudos to Expedia though - they did advocate for me to see if I could get anything back.

The room was dirty and outdated. The ceiling was leaking and had mold. I complained and they refused to move my room.

Not what I expected, lower end quality

The room needs a lot of work. Toilet seat cover did not fit the toilet. Light bulb was out & kitchen area had no light and no light fixture. Couldn't put anything in freezer - needed defrosting. I asked for an extra towel and washcloth. They would only give me 1 washcloth because we already had 2 towels & 1 washcloth.

The 1st room was infested with cockroaches. the 2nd room wasnt sanitary. No towels. and a few cockroaches. I will never stay there again. It was really disgusting. I would of left but I was really tired and I had walked to the office 4 times.

I have videos of cockroaches running around the room. The manager was rude and wouldn’t even talk to us. Asked for a refund and he called the police on us.

Falsely advertised EV charging at property. It seems people are living in most of the rooms. Broken down cars and trash along with an abandoned Denny’s building in parking lot. Windows in shower with no security barrier. Humidity stains on the ceiling and botchy wall patching repair jobs take away from the little efforts management has done to have beautiful floors and perfect water pressure and temperature. This place needs a lot of work. It’s definitely not worth more than $49 a night in the condition it’s in.

Don't stay here. The rooms are NOT clean. Cigarette burns in the blankets, trash everywhere and I was told that if I pay online in order to extend my stay, that I would have to leave and come back at 2:30. I've never been told that by a hotel NEVER. In order to extend my stay and not have to leave I had to pay in person and was charged 25$ more than I would have to pay online. Unreal

The property is quiet. There is a gas station, 711 and taco shop across tbe street. This is a comfortable motel if you need somewhere to rest and DONT want partying and loud noise to disturb you.

Very easy to check in, very quick and quiet

This hotel needs huge upgrades. There was wet drywall behind the toilet that looked like it was molding, the ceiling tiles had stains, the baseboards were black and grimy, and I killed two cockroaches. On another note, the staff was very helpful, responsive, and pleasant.

When I first entered the room, I noticed a sheet covering the chair in the corner. I don't know why it was there, but I felt like the room hadn't been finished being cleaned. Not a big deal. Neither were the very stained towels.

The bathroom shower head could use replacing and the walls in there could use a cleaning with some cabinet replacements the beds were really uncomfortable no coffee pot or condiments the towels were stained and the bed cover had burn holes all through it. I think a little changes and this place would be the place to go if you like the piece and quite. Which I do. So I felt like I picked the right place to go. They just need a little TLC.

Heater worked, lots of hot water, quiet, easy access off freeway , small refrigerator worked, microwave and blackout drapes. For the nightly rate, very good

The room had roaches and there were a bunch. I would steer away form this place, luckily i only had to stsy one night, or i would have been looking for another hotel in the area.

I asked for receipt but never got one. 2 small dark stains on sheets. Curtains were very wrinkled. I finally got shower water turned on. Shower Walls showed dirty when I touched with wet hands. I walked from shower to bed and my feet were black. No light in like a dressing room. Walls and furniture were old and needed repairs.

Overall it was a pleasant experience, it would have been better had there not been roaches, and if the shower stayed close. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Nice and friendly atmosphere i find. Things that are need to pay to is the carpets, bathroom, shower areas, especially wall and all edged, more importantly shower towel must a decent size and bit of thickness clothes regular show towel, proper soap and shampoo holder. More available outlet to connect phone to charger, inventory check, bed with compforness.just as an FYI. Other then i find very convenient location, ample parking and friendly front deck operator.

Worth about $50

We were travelling with family and small kids. We had booked two rooms. They gave us one room in the first floor and another in the second floor. There were cockroaches everywhere in the first floor room. There were cigaretter burnt holes on the bedsheet too. The room in the second floor had strong foul smell.

Extremely noisy and really old and not kept up. Skipped my morning shower because it was so disgusting. Would not recommend to anyone.

The room looked nothing like the pictures, the couch was broken, the room didn’t smell good, and the shower had black stains on the floor and zero hot water. Check out took too long because the guy was way in the back with his TV loud. His very young son (like 4) had to bang on the bell multiple times and yell at him to come to the front. The only good thing about this place was the bed - it al least was comfortable and clean. I do NOT recommend staying here.

I walked into the room and there were someone else’s dirty clothes in the bathroom and old blood on the sheets. The stairs to go up to the room had three homeless people living under them. After I checked in I felt like I was being followed. I couldn’t stay both nights I had booked so I checked out first thing in the morning after the first night.

Nicest people you will ever meet behind the counter, maybe in the world. Husband & wife team with a couple of boys run the place. They are a draw. Hotel Location couldn't be better. Too much stuff in walking distance to name. Highway right there as you unwind in the middle of everything. Sounds like the ocean late at nite. Rooms are all you need plus a Comfy bed.. 1 bad thing OLD TVS.. I rent these rooms to watch the games so didn't enjoy the tv viewing of that old technology. They should get some flat screens, don't have to be huge. But that would be nice.

The hotel is showing it’s age. A/C unit did not work properly. Shower handle would not move to be able to properly adjust temperature; bathroom was tiny. NO in room coffee.

Stale stench in the warn and frayed room was robust. Homeless living in the ditch by the pool seemed a courius touch. The noise level was impresive.

It looks like noone is taking care of the this hotel (no management) , swimming pool out of service, the TV was broken in my room, the furniture was worn, and there was a dead cockroach. The water comes out of the basin if someone took a shower. It was totally less than the expectations and for sure doesn’t deserve 130$ per night.

Owner suggested I have alternative line of work. Not worths wasting my points and spending the money I did. Horrible will never stay there again. Drug led were being sold from 3 rooms down stairs from me as well.

Roches, uncomfortable bed

The front desk clerk was friendly, the second I opened the door I saw a cockroach running across the room, the flooring, furniture, and the bathroom were old , the sheets looked dirty and old.

I recommend this as a quick place to stay. I booked a queen and got 2 doubles. There were dead bugs in the bathtub. Holes in the walls. A dead bug in one of the paintings. It smelled like the room hadn't been cleaned before the last guests... definitely a last resort, cheapish place to stay.

I have stayed at worst places than this, but this one needs my review since I think the 4-star rating is a fallacy. The hotel is owned from people from India. Does have fast internet wifi. The area is known to drug activity so park at your own risk near the Dennys. Shady people who reside at the hotel. One woman was trying to break into her room with her bicycle by trying to break the shatter proof window--before she was let in by the staff. Too noisy being close to the freeway, so I put on the A/C to drown out the noise.

We stayed here during our stay in San Diego it's about 20 minutes from downtown and there's a good selection of places to eat if you're willing to travel a few miles staff was nice but the room was a bit odd there was a skull and crossbones drawing with pencil on the door and in the bathroom the room is clean but they have regular box televisions no flat screens I'd say the worst thing about this hotel is the shower head and hit me and my wife like a jet stream that stung when you washed yourself other than that are stay was very good and peaceful a few sketchy people around but if I had to I would stay here again

This place is a cash-cow for its owner. It doesn’t look like its ever been remodeled since the 1960’s or 1970’s. It still has the original aluminum framed single pane windows. Worse is that I paid $200/nite for a $70/nite room cuz it was a holiday weekend.

Falling apart. The only thing that I liked about this place was the person that checked us in and out. They were very nice. The room was so old and run down. The smoke alarm was laying on the dresser. The shower door looked like it was going to fall off. There was a hole in the wall behind the toilet. Broken and cracked tiles on the outside of the shower. It says pet friendly on Hotels.com but it was not. It's $150 if you try and sneak in a pet (That's what the sign said) so we had a cat that we couldn't keep there. I had to board her at the vet for 2 nights because of the incorrect information. It was easy access to the freeway so that was nice except for the freeway noise all night long. Our choices were limited since Comic con was in town and lots of hotels were booked.

Expected a lot more out of this hotel, for the amount of money I spent for 1 night $150. I believe it should have been a $50-60 room. The whole room just seemed run down and needed a lot of work to it. I thought I was in the hood. I was embarrassed for my girlfriend.

Not comfortable at all.beds were very hard . Air conditioner did not work. I booked online and then called because they said they had roll away beds,availible. I checked in late in the evening because I was busy at my child's competition. The people from the front desk called be 4 times wanting to know when I was checking in. When I arrived at 9 p.m they told me they had no roll away beds and then charged me more

Exactly what I expected. Older property right off interstate. Clean but not updated recently. Rooms are clean but show age and wear. Right next to interstate so traffic noise is constant but not terrible. Front desk service was outstanding. Little about the immediate area is appealing, residential area, not a lot to see. Gas station convenience store close, easy interstate access, Denny's shares the parking area and was one of the better Denny's I have been in. Overall this is exactly the type of motel I like, inexpensive, convenient, and good attentive service if needed.
