Aloft El Paso Downtown

Great staff clean room. The heart of El Paso makes it easy to get around go to the tap go to the art museums and this was a work trip so really enjoyed.

I stay often here when my husband and I do date night out in the city. The rooms are small but clean and the best part is the location. There is bars and other entertainment close by. No parking only valet is one of the things I dislike but you are informed when booking. I’m sure you can pay parking nearby we just treat ourselves.

I liked that its very close to the main streets. Also within 5 minutes of the border crossing This was my second stay at Aloft and i thought i was going to get the same size room. I did not. I don’t know if there is different sizes for the same price depending on how many beds you choose. But the room was very small. I chose a king size bed and the bed took most of the space in the room. Also the valet price is not specified enough. When i got there the boy took our car keys and that surprised me i thought what a nice hotel. To be sure there was no extra cost to that, i specifically asked the counter person checking me in if the valet was included. He said yes! It came to my surprise when i arrived at my destination and i saw a $20 dollar charge in my account.

We booked this hotel for the BTS concert and the staff was amazing and the rooms were very gorgeous with beautiful views no matter what room you get it’s just beautiful. Thanks to the staff for making our stay feeling like home and welcoming!

The Bed was very Comfortable 1. You can hear the music coming through the walls like you’re outside with the music 2.There was mold on my mirror 3:Staff was very friendly but charged me an extra fee for when i already paid for the room before hand messing up my trip plans, i wanted to do more but due to the mistake the staff made without checking my vacation was ruined. The staff in the morning was also very friendly and got the situation fixed but very disappointed because I have yet to receive the money despite calling the bank.

Nice boutique like hotel in Downtown

Very thankful this hotel did not cancel my reservation like other hotels for the BTS concert so they could charge more. If I come back, I will definitely stay here again. Very helpful front desk. Very fast valet. I will say though the shower was very slippery so I had to put a towel down so I wouldn’t slip. Other than that everything was wonderful!!!

I love the Hotel itself, the only complaint I had was the room I was in was either right over the restaurant or close to it so the room smelled of food the whole time. I will def be staying there again just on a different floor! Other than that it was a great stay

Very old building in bad condition. Can’t believe this is a Marriott property. The coffee machine and refrigerator were in the bathroom. Staff was very nice.

Yes! The room did not have shampoo in the shower! And when I drove up no one helped me quickly I was in a hurry! I did tell them to park my car in the parking lot but they left it there and my license plate was stolen! Not happy!

I was staying long enough that I was able to relax and figure out some of the quirks of the room like the remote controlled shades - which were nice! (Just would have loved a heads up so I wasn’t trying to figure it out and feeling silly once it dawned on me) The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and made sure my dog felt loved and welcomed too! It’s a great space and feels very modern while respecting the history of the building. I would definitely recommend it for others - Just be prepared for quirks like the remote controlled shades and the elevators that don’t both go to all the floors!

The room was dirty, drywall cracked, lacked maintenance. As a gold member, they didn't offer water and only provided one packet of coffee for the 1st night and didn't add one for the 2nd.

We loved our room! Super clean, building has lots of character. Staff at front desk was not the most helpful when it came to check in. They did not acknowledge me when I came up to the desk. There was miscommunication with the valet set up and my husband ended up paying the driver but we were charged on our card. We did our research before hand so we were aware of checkout times and the accommodations/amenities but they did not share any of this at checkout. We ended up grabbing drinks down the street but had our check in experience up to expectations with the rest of the hotel we wouldn’t spent our evening here. Regardless, we were happy with our stay for our short time in El Paso and would stay again. Very convenient location, super comfortable stay. Check out was smooth and friendly.

I have previously stayed at the Aloft and I loved it. HOWEVER, this time around I had booked a suite and upon my arrival I was told that they over booked and had no suites available. I was given a regular room and no refund for the price difference was given. :(

I love this place. All the beautiful old buildings. Best of all, the staff was very helpful and all the people were so nice, that includes the staff, guests, even people on the street. El Paso is the best city ever. I can’t wait to bring friends.

The check in was simple and easy. The Valet staff were so helpful in both check in and check out. The room was adequate and the only thing missing was an extra toilet paper! I tried calling the front desk but it was permanently engaged. Apart from that it was nice stay with friendly staff. Oh and great room views with beautiful sunset!

Great old building renovated and modern. Very clean rooms. Breakfast could be improved. It seemed like the food was premade and microwaved.

Daniel, Adam, Nick, and Marco were all excellent and went above and beyond in service. I also spoke with a woman at the front desk yesterday who I believe is named Stephanie (I apologize if I have her name wrong!), but she was extremely helpful as well! Everyone at this hotel was wonderful. Thank you!

The location is perfect, easy to get anywhere. Downtown El Paso is a bit a dead town at night, however the hotel is closed to many restaurants within walking distance

It was dark inside and rooms seemed unnecessarily cramped.

Not a fan of the sliding door that didn't close all the way separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. Otherwise the stay was fine.

No empathy or apologies. I was shaking all the way to airport. When I provided feedback to Assistant GM, she said that it was a teachable moment for her staff and she said it won't happen again. Again, little empathy. As a woman traveling alone, I would never consider this hotel. They have poor coverage of front desk and I felt very unsafe.

So much noise from next door rooms, even you can hear the toilet flush, closing doors, and vibration on the phone.. could not sleep well, as I have to catch a flight early morning.

Our room needed some maintenance. Housekeeping was sub-par - they while never replenish coffee/tea supplies. We also found trash left in the bathroom. The staff in the lobby and valet service were great.

Friendlier service would of been a nice touch. My wife and I did the whole staycation so we were dressed down so to speak and i feel that was a factor in how we were greeted and spoken to. Not a huge thing but enough to bring it up and the pillows were horrible. Aside that, clean property, modern, great view from room, bar was great and moderately priced.

Christmas Eve and we checked out the day after Christmas. We traveled by vehicle from San Antonio Tx to see our son who lives downtown. When I booked through Expedia, I paid for the three days in advance and did not expect any other expenses except valet. I paid for an additional total on my card which held the total amount for any additional charges (double paid for the room). No mixrowave zero minibar, coffee after 6am ... ugh! I was on a budget to they cut into my spending money for my sons gifts..They also charged me an addional $97 because I stayed there on Christmas Day! As a retired military couple we were so disappointed that we will Never recommend this hotel and until they make this right and will never stay at another Marriot. I actually was so appalled by the false advertisement that i thought Iwas in the wrong hotel. I went as far as recording my clean hotel room when I left so that I had proof of no reason for additional charges. Sadly my son didnot receive his 3 D printer that he requested to support his art profession because my ability to purchase it while I was their was missed by the double payment in cyberspace somewhere! Disappointed customers...

Its a nice little hotel in the middle of downtown. Rooms felt small with the layout they have. Other than that it was very comfy.

We never stayed here. We had the reservation through hotels.com. Cancelled reservation 2 days before the stay. They still charged my card and kept saying that we checked in. Called hotels.com and called the actual hotel they said they couldn't do anything about it.

Parking for check in was not available. Had to drive around the block several times before we got lucky. Valet could not drive car with manual transmission.
