Hyatt Place Eugene / Oakway Center

It was very nice property; easy parking. The breakfast was above average!

The kitchen in the King Suite was limited. It was misleading on the website. Overall, a very comfortable room with great view. Breakfast was cold for both my husband and myself. It was a nice stay, but not what I usually expected from a Hyatt, it fell one star short.

Check in was a bit rough bc employee seemed stressed. But we did ok.

We had a great stay overall. The hotel was very clean, located in a good area, and the staff was both welcoming and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. The atmosphere felt comfortable and well maintained, and we appreciated how helpful everyone was. For anyone traveling with pets, just note that there is a $100 pet fee. Other than that, it was a very positive experience and we would stay here again

My room and the whole hotel was very clean. As a solo traveler, I also felt very safe in the hotel. All staff were helpful and kind.

It was freezing in the room all night. The heater said it was at 70 but was just blowing cold air!!! I DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP THAT NIGHT. Feel like it’s my worst stay in a hotel ever.

Everything was nice for my mother’s stay, her and the grandkids had a blast. We only wished that the hot tub was working and that there was a video game / game room on property for family’s to use.

Location to work function 1 of 2 elevators was broken down. I came at the same time last year and 1 of the elevators were broken then. Since the hotel has a check in on the 4 floor the elevators situation was a problem. The clean glasses in our room were on the bottom shelf 3 inches from the floor (yuck). They should be higher up. The desk top or bathroom would be better than sitting next to the floor. $20 for parking is a little too much. Should be free if staying the night.

For the price, was surprised at the condition of things. One elevator was out of order making transit slow up to the hotel and down to the street slow, the carpet in my room was shredded at the interface of the carpet and tile floor, the king bed mattress was saggy on the side that most commonly used. The ground floor entrance was confusing with the out of order elevator barricaded and signs saying don't push the emergency button

I would have given an Excellent rating, but we had a terrible time finding the hotel from within the mall, and once we did find it, we had to drive up to the fourth floor of the parking garage, call in from the gate in the garage and then continue up to the fifth gaage floor where we unloaded our luggage and hauled it over to the elevator, up to the lobby, and then to our room. Super not intuitive, which is a shame, because it's a wonderful hotel. Oh, yeah, I forgot about the $100 pet fee and $20 parking. I don't know if it's because I went though Expedia instead of directly to the hotel, but I didn't know about that until I checked in. I would definitely stay there again, now that I know where it is and how it works. But probably not with my dog, although she was welcomed. There's not a good place to walk her except around the outdoor mall.

Staff was great but when I showered, the shampoo bottle was completely empty.

Repeat customer. Very conveniently located being able to walk to shops and restaurants and take a Barre class downstairs! The only thing that would be alot more helpful is having another entrance/exit access on the shopping mall side.

Loved the secured, covered and monitored parking garage. Beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was so nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. Located in a shopping center with lots to shop and dine in walking distance. Our room was very spacious the only complain was that the AC was super noisy. It whistled all night and that areas a bit annoying.

Our flight was delayed until very late so we stayed the night in Portland and when we got to the hotel the next morning, we were told our suite was given away. Not a great experience. Also, we found blonde hair all over the dark carpet so housekeeping clearly had not vacuumed.

Well located!

We loved staying at Hyatt Place whenever we visited our daughter in college. She graduated this year so we won’t be back to Eugene. We love the roof top bars ambiance and drinks. The staff gave us great recommendations for restaurants to try. Also, they were so accommodating and helpful with our moving truck. A big thank you for a lovely stay.

The location of the hotel was amazing, and we really enjoyed the fabulous downstairs restaurant and nearby shopping. However, on our first night, we noticed an insect crawling out from the couch, which was concerning. The following day, housekeeping did not refill the tissue box or the toilet paper, which was inconvenient. Additionally, we were disappointed to find the pool closed during our stay. When we asked the front desk about it, we were told it would not be repaired for another two weeks.

I was very disappointed with our stay at this supposedly "excellent" hotel. We were misled by Expedia that this was an exceptional hotel and that was the reason we booked it. But we arrived in the evening and the front doors were lacked with no directions of what to do. Just so happens someone was bring out some trash and told us to go up to the 3rd floor parking and take elevator to lobby. Once on the 3rd parking there was an elevator it did not take you to the lobby but locked hallways. In frustration going back to the car we saw the guy again and he directed us to another elevator that was to lead tot the4 5th floor lobby. Note: this elevator was not labeled in any way that it was the one that leads to the lobby. very frustrating when it is late at night after traveling all day. Once in the lobby the front desk agreed with us of difficulty of entrance, parking, elevator and checking in. he said that has been a problem but shrugged it off as "O well". Once in the room it immediately smelt and there were numerous spots on the floor. My wife tried to clean one so we would not step on it and the rag she used turned black after cleaning the floor. So we put down rags over the spots and stop cleaning. The room did not have a microwave so we could not heat up ant food we had. I went to the front desk to ask about the microwave and was told no rooms have them. even though he agreed with me the cheap hotels all have microwaves. again shrugged it off as o well! I informed him of the

This was my first of regular business trips. Hotel was quiet and close to everything I needed. Looking forward to next months stay!

Annoying, overpriced, no hot water in shower, automatic light in bathroom woke us up and kept us awake, poor breakfast and again, overpriced.

Check in was easy and informative. They allowed us early check in which was appreciated.

Staff was fabulous. Car parking fee is ridiculous given that it’s at a free garage for the shopping area - pet fee is $75 highest I’ve ever experienced. Breakfast just ok.

Over all, we had a very good experience.

We enjoy the shopping, dining safe area that we can walk around. We are from California and travel to Washington to visit our Daughter. This is a good place to stop and relax after a long day of travel. Your staff has great customer service. We enjoy the workout room but were disappointed the pool and jacuzzi were not available.

The room was nice with a comfortable bed but upon arrival we were told that we had to pay a $20 parking fee, I got out of the shower and the only towel I could find was a hand towel to dry off with, the tv’s in the room were way too small to see from the bed with not many channels, and lastly our toilet plugged up and overflowed and it took maintenance a little bit to fix it.

10/20! Will stay here again.

Usually like the Hyatt, during this stay only one elevator worked, breakfast was very chaotic, pool and hot tub were empty and room insulation was irritatingly poor. Otherwise, appreciate the size of the rooms and the location.

Wonderful place to stay. Staff was great and helpful. Easy access from the freeway without having to be next to the freeway. Would stay again.

We had multiple complications checking in, including being put into the wrong room type and then waiting in the hall for employee to switch keys. Every employee we came into contact with was rude. Breakfast was decent, our room was not super clean and the pull out couch had food crumbs all over it and the couch cushions had stains. We would not stay again.

Big spacious clean room

The only complaint is that one of the two elevators was not working and there was no indication anyone was working on it. This was especially problematic since the hotel lobby is on the 5th floor.

Luckily we were so busy we weren’t in the room much. It was clean but the sofa bed was so horribly uncomfortable I had to sleep with two kids in a queen bed. Tv was not smart so couldn’t watch what we wanted to. They had direct tv so plenty of stuff to watch before we fell asleep. Best thing….free breakfast…actually good food and coffee unlike many hotels I’ve stayed at that offered free breakfast. I loved the secure parking as well. Would stay here again. Worst thing…pool and hot tub were under construction with no notification of that. I traveled with 4 girls ages 8-10 who looked forward to daily dips. Fortunately the staff told us about an awesome indoor swim park that was super reasonable and the girls had a blast.
