The room was small and the beds were full size. The pullout trundle was very uncomfortable. We were unable to use it since you could feel every spring. The room felt damp. Would not stay there again.

The property was clean and well taken care of. We booked for my daughter’s 8 year old birthday. She was excited for the pool, only to find out it was closed for maintenance. Having a pool was the whole reason we spent more and booked this hotel. Everything else was great.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that I have to ask for my room to be cleaned. The bed, the trash. Mainly the towels, I have to ask to get them replaced.

The breakfast selection was nice, but wasn’t anything over the top. It was pretty simple and straightforward. Nice to have the option. Parking was fantastic super easy. Lots of space. The room was mostly clean, but there was definitely details. Missed there was something smudged on my shower curtain, which doesn’t feel great. You can tell the hotel is a little bit older and yet they do a nice job. There was a mistake made where somebody was trying to get into my room because they wrote down my room number even though the keys were not programmed to my room. It was a little unsettling to have somebody trying to get in, but I ended up opening the door to let them know that this room was occupied and then called the front desk. They said that the person never had access to my room and apologized, but that experience is unnerving. I felt brushed off like what happened wasn’t a big deal. The positives are there is a ton of space in the room. Bed was comfortable.

Very old fixtures in room, fitted sheet did not stay on bed, iron spewed black particles, sink drained very slowly, tub did not look clean but hard to tell because it was so old.

For number of people staying there over Spring Break should have had longer breakfast hours as very crowded. Also no pool available because of maintenance work. Wasn’t shown on any website. Call to make sure your children can swim!

Pool was closed, gym wasn’t how it was pictured, the snacks/food section was close to nothing, got charged almost $100 extra. We left 2 days early then planned.

Enjoyed our stay. It was our 2nd anniversary. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately on our last day one elevator stopped working which made it only one elevator available and a little slow with all guest and housekeeping using it. Other than that we had no complaints.

The room was clean the staff on the first night was not very nice the guy on my second night was very pleasant. The breakfast was good and full each morning. It was lousy that the pool was closed though. That was one of the reasons I stayed at this hotel.

The room was a decent size. The beds weren’t the most comfortable. It was clean enough. The breakfast left something to be desired though. It seemed as though they had trouble keeping it stocked. We went down at 8 and there was hardly anything left except semi-warm “eggs”, stale cereal, and microwaved bacon.

Great staff. Clean, updated room. Decent breakfast. Excellent price for a weekend room. Plenty of parking. I can't imagine a better deal in Fairfax.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was plentiful. The fitness center is on the bottom floor away from everything. Felt a little weird and there was no disinfectant wipes for the equipment.

I have been booking this hotel since 2014. I like this hotel because it is very clean, comfy, and close to everything that you need: shopping mall, plaza, restaurants, and Wegmans supermarket as well as Walmart.

This place is even nicer than The Embassy Suites! The room was great and comfortable and clean.

Everything was great until the day we checked out. We stood at the counter waiting for over 15 min while the phone ringing and other guests trying to check out…no employee to be found…he eventually showed up, no apology….with a plate of food from the Buffett…

Reserved a king room and given a room with two doubles. Receptionist said the system would not let him give me a king room. Got to the room and the lights would not come on and telephone did not work. Went back to reception and was given a different room that smelled like smoke. Went back to reception and was given a third room, still not a king, but lights work and it smells better. Overall so far a bad experience at this Springhill Suites.

Overall hotel experience was good. The heating and air conditioning unit was noisy more than typical. The thermostat was programmed to run continuously without the ability to turn off.

Strange setup to get in to property. No exterior parking so you had to double park, check in, then get a parking pass and room key, then go back out to enter the garage. Very awkward and didn't understand why they didn't have a regular parking lot like other hotels in area. Then I saw that they charged for parking each day???? who else does that? fortunately they took it off my bill

Generally disappointing. The room has mold in the bathroom where wallpaper is peeling. The pool is among the smallest I’ve ever seen and notably dirty with black scum. With 5 nights stay did not get promised room refresh, even after speaking to desk staff. Literally we had one bar of soap put on the sink. Pathetic.

I would stay again. Double bed room was spacious. Big enough for a queen and double bed really. Mini fridge. Toilet had hair on it so do the white glove second look when cleaning. AC would not cool at night and made it uncomfortable for summer stay. Breakfast standard powdered eggs, weird sausage, store type bagels, sugar laden juices, waffle station. I didn’t have time for pool and fitness center. Decent area but not lot of food places.

We had a first floor room which smelled musty and smoky upon entry, in the evening my wife and I could smell urine. I think there have been alot of pets in this room. Check in was good, room was clean, breakfast was good beside the shelves holding ornamaents over the breakfast area had a ton of dust on them. Not what you really want to see above the buffet counter. I'd try a higher floor room.

Hotel was ok. Elevators were rickety and floors not the cleanest. House keeping 1x in 6 days. When I asked for service they told me to wait three hours for toilet paper and soap. Phones in room were broken and lightbulbs burned out. It’s ok for a night, but not a great stay for the week. We left early.

Property condition was excellent. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The gym was perfect when the rain arrived. The parking is safe and partly under cover of rain. The double room was very nice and spacious. Will definitely stay again.

Eh. Have to travel for real food. Checked in, got to room and just wanted to lay down after long drive and there were no pillows in the room. Took long time to bring pillows. How do you forget pillows on the bed??

It was a short but great day trip for us. The heated pool was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly as well.

I love the staff, there were a few mistakes on my end and they were very accommodating and solution orientated. I have family in Virginia and I would recommend family and friends to go to this every time for reunions and marriages.

The parking fee was totally unexpected, no one told us anything at check in. We had stayed at Marriott hotels before and the parking was complimentary with our stay. Overall not a very good experience. Will NOT be booking another stay at this location. Total regrets for this visit. Other Marriott hotels I have booked before have gone above and beyond with their customer service, not this location though.

Specifically, we found the bed to be excessively firm, which impacted our ability to sleep comfortably. In addition, the pillows provided were not ideal. We also had trouble regulating the temperature in our room; despite setting the thermostat to 68 degrees, the room remained warmer than desired.

This property is nice for a quick trip. Negative was that it said we had a pull out couch that was a double bed. The bed was actually a trundle bed and not a pull out couch. Our teenager slept on the couch because the trundle was so low to the floor.

Staff was excellent! Clean room and would stay again. Good location near Eaglebank Arena. My only complaint is that water was not hot enough for my shower Sunday morning. Otherwise, great stay!

I love staying at this property because it's pretty quiet and they have a good self-serve breakfast. I've stayed here regularly over the last 12 years.

Room was nice but housekeeping knocked on two separate occasions and despite responding tried to enter the room on both occasions. You’d think they’d have some kind of system for which rooms have already checked out.

I loved the central location, the super friendly staff, and the comfortable rooms, which were immaculately clean. I especially appreciated that there were working tables in the lobby (I know, they are there for breakfast, but they allow guests to get out of their rooms and sit in a larger room!). The free coffee was an added plus. The hotel is about .6 miles from I-66 and while places like Arlington and Washington DC are about a 30 minute drive away, the reasonable cost of the hotel more than makes up for the distance. There are also many food places within a mile of the hotel and one can even walk to some of them. We had a cat with us and the hotel accommodated us requesting only a $50 pet fee. Finally, the cost of parking in a safe garage was very low. That was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I will stay at the Springhill Suites in Fairfax every time I visit. We had a very positive experience.
