Nothing really everything was not what i expected The place was okay but the "free breakfast"they had was one muffin and one drink only per person you would think driving for hours trying to get a good sleep and having a full breakfast to you can hit the road would be the plan but it wasnt the bed sheets had burn cigarettes hole even thou they said it a smoke free place the bathtub was nasty and dirty it wasnt what the pictures show highly wont recommend to anyone unless you on a budget

Peaceful. Everyone their great and willing to help except one person. I asked if they had a phone I use because I was going through a crisis. I accidentally locked phone and keys in the car. He told me I could go jack in the box or the gas station. I have to say thank God those people willing to help. I am homeless and suffering with depression. I broke down. When the key guy gave me money to pay for another night.

It gets better. The closet was missing an doorknob, that isn't a typo, there were clearly two knob fittings, one was well appointed, the other was a haggard mass of splintered wood. For a moment I thought this was a Resident Evil puzzle that I had to complete in order to unlock my actual room. It was not. Between the thin (dirty) pillows, cigarette burns and the overall horror movie chic. This was an unforgettable experience, I'm certain my doctor will agree once the eggs hatch. It's this traveler's opinion (As I write this from a hospital bed, shame on me for touching that countertop barehanded anyway,) that a much more comfortable alternative accommodation can be found out back with Fred, the requisite Parking Lot Hobo (TM)

I was surprised by this location. It was convenient to where I was working. The location is well maintained and clean. Beds were comfortable. Building is right off the 35e. Had moments of road noise.

They have roaches and mice i was here for a week and saw 10-15 roaches and a mice i recorded a video and showed the front desk he said i can discount you 20 off you it next week stay from 495 to 475 the bed and chair and desk is new but the roaches and mice made it a NO GO

It was well third time and i loved it.

This is my second time time staying here. The first was before COVID. The property seems rundown on the outside. The inside and rooms seem fairly well maintained. It does show small signs of being an older building. The breakfast was a lot better here before COVID. I guess it's to be expected because of inflation, that the breakfast would be small. At least the coffee fresh and hot. Overall it was a good stay.

Courteous clerk. A/C was not on at arrival but cooled quickly. Updated carpet and comfortable bed. 1-nite stay. Did not hear the Rapid Transit train across the street. But, dumpster flies we're annoying parking down close to the side entrance. So use the main entrance! However, No electric doors made it hard to get the trolley in & out with luggage. Whew! Over all a good stay for the $$.

They have up graded the room locks. I travel with clorox wipes and lysol to clean and disinfect surface etcetera; more now with monkey pox and covid-19. The room seemed cleaned but as I went over with my wipes it was not cleaned. The ice tray had cigarettes ashes and was not cleaned. The bathroom floor had a lot of urine drops on the floor. Overall this was not a good stay.

If you just need a place to sleep for the night then this is the place. A towel in our room had some questionable remains. I can see the front desk person who checked us in was pretty nice and he fixed our tv within 2 minutes.

Bathroom had mold on the floor and the tub

Mostly clean. Our toilet was not secured to the ground and the door to the bathroom hit the toilet and moved it every time we closed the door. The pillows were the worst and the walls are super thin. We woke up to 15 screaming elementary school kids on a field trip at 7am on Sunday. Not the hotels fault and not reflected in my ratings. The desk staff was friendly and check in was easy. It’s super close to the Carrollton square area, which makes it totally worth it.

The entire property smelled like cigarettes

From the parking lot to inside the building was as clean as it could possibly make it, for an older building. The one major complaint is that are commode in room 115 would not flush properly, so we had to use the more public one by the vending machines and that one also would not flush

Stay was ok, it smelled liked cigarettes all through the hallway even though it stated no smoking. Would not stay more than one night.

Me and my family lost our home in a fire and we had to stay for about two weeks unfortunately I had to leave cause I couldn’t afford a hotel anymore but it was very clean the people in front are friend no issues at all

Room was not clean. There was a red substance on top of the fridge. Stains on the side of the mattress. Stained sheets. A bed bug crawled on my arm!!!! Roach on the floor of the bathroom. Extremely loud and obnoxious clientele late into the night and again at 5 am. Worst hotel experience that I’ve ever had!

The building itself is run down. This isn’t the issue but upkeep is obviously poor. Maybe an overnight stay wouldn’t have made it so obvious but being more than one night you see the little things. I was isolated due to COVID waiting for my test results the dust from the bed frame the dust on the air conditioner makes you not even want to touch anything. I felt like I needed to just stay in my bed and not move. The people are dependent this is nothing they could control but I wouldn’t stay there again.?

The hotel is absolutely disgusting. I had to change rooms due to the condition of the room. The bed had been slept in, the sheets were dirty, the pillowcases were obviously dirty. The room I was changed to was the same but did not have another option as the hotel was fully booked. I cannot believe I paid for this room, but since my flight was cancelled I had no other option but to stay.

The bathrooms are horrendous & the establishment is greedy with toiletries. Rooms were poorly cleaned by maids & there's no hbo, showtime or cinemax as advertised.

First off Cigarette burns on the comforter. Bathroom door was broken and the toilet had hairs and was definitely not properly cleaned before we arrived.The hotel managers office was 2 rooms down from a room that allowed loud music to be played from 12 am-5 am couldn't sleep since we were 2 rooms down from them. Shower curtain rod was broken and with that water would run onto the floor. Wish i would have taken photos.

Dirty carpet throughout the hotel. Furniture from grandma's estate sale. Pubic hair on towels. Roaches crawling from the bed letting you know that you were invading privacy. With no hope of refund even with given circumstances

All common areas smelled like an ashtray! Had to hold my breath just to get to my room. Water was only a little warm and the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. You couldn’t close the bathroom door while using the toilet without climbing into the shower to close the door. They said limited breakfast options during COVID-19 but literally had cereal dispensers instead of individual boxes, 2-3 individually wrapped honey buns, 4-5 packets of dry oatmeal with no hot water, pitchers of OJ and milk in a fridge instead of individual servings. Horrible! Canceled the rest of my stay and changed to another hotel.

The room was designed for disabled persons and the lip on the floor of the shower did not hold the water in the shower. So the water escaped and went all the way to the door entry

Come the next morning, we went to the manager to try to get our accommodations. Well, the manager didn’t even show up for work that day. They didn’t even come in. The person at the front desk was rude. They were giving US attitude because THEIR manager didn’t come in. When asked if they could help us, they said, “Our system doesn’t even do that. I can’t help you and my manager isn’t here to do anything about it.” We were devastated as we had evacuated from Beaumont and had nowhere else to stay. They let us believe we had a chance of being somewhere safe with our fur babies, but they completely ruined it. I was willing to overlook the rooms condition since they were going to be helpful, but they couldn’t even do that. I never stayed at Super 8s because of bad reviews. I will never give any business to them again.

Decent stay up until 4 in the morning when a party crowd showed up across the hall from our room. We were just down the hall from the reception desk, so I know they heard it and just turned a blind eye to it. No sleep until 5:30. Not happy....

The place was dirty, filthy ice machine, hallway reaped of smoke, carpet dirty, spiderwebs in the room on ceiling. Walkway covered with cans and cigarettes buds. Overall scary

This property is disgusting. Stepping on a used hypodermic needle in your room is unacceptable. When I phoned and reported it, there did not seem to be any concern.

Its a bad property for super8. They only put 1set of towel in row,they only clean room every other day. Had a roach crawling on floor at sink.would not let me check in at 1230,demanding 330pm i had to sit in car 3 hours and on last day they called room at 1059 to tell me time to leave, very simple free continental breakfast of cold cereal and small muffins .i made a great mistake booking this place. Ive been at other super 8 but nothing this bad!!! Also they say its a Wyndham associated property, but thats in name only. Its a rin down property runs along the highway and i wont be back to it again

Employees are nice. Waffle house next door was nice. Felt mildly safe just kept doors locked. Smelled like smoke. Fairly clean, outdated building, could use some work. Could use some new mattresses and such but we slept good. TV and mini fridge worked. You get what you pay for. Thanks!

Stayed two nights and ended up with many bed bugs. Too numerous to count. I suppose that’s what I get for going low bid.

So we get to the hotel and check in, walking down the hallways you can smell very strong cigarette smoke in the hallways, we go to unlock the room door and there is a man laying on the bed listening to headphones so we got back to the front desk snd tell the man there and he is arguing with us that there is nobody in the room so finally he gives us another room that smells like heavy cigarettes that does not have a ironing board in it so I asked him for one but never got it, so we had to iron on the bed the next morning, I will never ever stay at this hotel again, it was VERY, VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

Property felt old when we walked in room...restroom doors were dirty...shower looked dirty was unable to use because it did not feel comfortable

This property was maintained inside and out. Personnel was efficient and was always ready to attend to their guests needs

I went to my grandson's high school graduation. The location was not optimal but close to the graduation site. Musty smelling, not as clean as I would wish, and you could hear individuals in other rooms. It looked as if they tried to upgrade using below par work.

Breakfast was not much of anything.

The room was ok but the one bed was not made and front desk tried to tell me that maybe I need to lock my door like if someone had walked in there while I was in there and messed up the bed and left.

Amazing as always check in is fast and friendly, place is always clean,comfortable,not as quit this time but it was spring break lots of kids having a good time.

No elevator and I am disabled so had to change rooms to 1st floor. Breakfast did not include eggs, sausage, bacon..no protein and no fresh fruit...just carbs!

When I went to front desk to speak to the manager the guy said that he wasn't the manager and that he would probably not come in today Then when I asked about a partial refind he said that they wouldn't give me one because I booked through Expedia. I told him that I will never stay there again and that they have terrible customer service.

The whole inside of the building is gross! My bathroom ceiling was coming down but painted over and my room had ROACHES! There was roaches all in the fridge and bathroom! I was so disgusted!

The property was absolutely terrible. Our room was filthy dirty. The bed sheets had stains & hairs. The couch in the room had multiple stains, the room smelled like mold. The whole entire 2nd floor smelled of marijuana. My wife & I felt completely unsafe & uncomfortably. I ended up leaving & getting another room elsewhere. So in the end I paid double for a room. The pictures online are completely false. The rooms look nothing like it. Definitely do not recommend this property.

The hallway permeated like smoke. It was so bad we had to hold our nose when we left the room and stuff towels under the door to keep the smell from coming in the non smoking room.

The stay was wonderful, yet for customer service. If a customer advises employee something different than what's on reservation {listen} to assume and proceed as if no changes was not adhering to customers' needs. Re-direction should have been done if employee wasn't able to assist with changes. This part of the experience was not enjoyable. Not only did it complicate things, but made check-in a longer process than what it should have been. With an understanding that check in time was 3:00pm. The time of arrival was 9:30-9:45pm. Finally once in rooms. One room the sink was clogged up. Was informed it can be fixed in the morning. I had to request to be switched to another room. Certainly would have been nice if rooms were already checked for arrival of customers, since time of arrival was at least 6 1/2 hrs from check-in. Discounts for services of customers service and the room conditions there was none. Hotel almost tried to charge an extra price for movement to another room due to previous room the sink was clogged. This part of the service from Super 8 will be remembered , and certainly was a learning lesson in regards to booking with a third party.

This is the worst ever hotel. Don't try stay here. We changed 3 rooms and still dint get a satisfactory room. Bedbugs!! Bedsheets and pillows with stains and torn, bad odour, mold in bathrooms... Never been to such a run down hotel. I would never try super 8 again.

it was ok. mildew on the bottom of the side table, door wouldn't lock on the bolt lock of the door. didn't offer all of the tv channels that they said they did so I missed out on a game on ABC. the workers were very nice tho

Other than the weather, the trip was real good. We enjoyed our visit with friends.
