Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Fayetteville

Room was clean and the staff were friendly, courteous and professional in greeting us. My wife did find a bug on her bed and we showed it to the front desk folks and they said this was nothing to worry about as these bugs come out during the summer and it was a hot sunny day that day. We did not stay for breakfast but we did eat dinner at the restaurant on the lobby floor and the meals we had there were great. Good restaurant and I would strongly recommend them as oppose to going out to eat. Parking was convenient and available as self parking. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Worst thing I can comment on is the A/C blowing directly on the curtains. Very quiet, our supper was very to excellent and reasonably priced. Did not stay for the breakfast.

The balcony and free cookies The toilet was broke, and the balcony needs to be re grouted. There was no coffee in the room, and you could have had more cups.

The bathroom inside of the room did not come with enough necessary toiletries that I'd expect from a doubletree. No shower cap, q-tips, toothpaste, etc

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and honored my requests for a room near the elevator and ice machine. The restaurant was nice. The hotel is easily accessible from I95. It had everything we were looking for in a hotel and we stay in hotels 10 ti.es a year.

The location of the hotel was in a subpar area, like low poverty. There were a lot of homeless people walking around. For a hotel of that magnitude, one would think it would surround itself in a much better environment.

We called Hilton's help line. They contacted the property but repeated the same. Moreover, they said that the trucks were outside of the property. Which was a lie, because they were right at the back of the parking lot. The supervisor at Hilton asked to call after checking out nd they will "make it right" for us. We mentioned that we are interested in having it resolved for the night, but they said there is nothing they could do. We called the Hilton the next day upon checking out, , spoke with Ramon. They contacted the property management and said there wouldn't be any compensation for the inconvenience from the property. Case closed. I suspect that long distance truck driver use this locationoften because there plenty of space to park. All despite a trucks parking lot two minutes away. I do nto recommend staying at this hotel.

Very disappointing. The first thing was a strong smell of marihuana in the hall coming from a non-smoking room. But the main disappointment was the trucks at the back of the property that were idling throughout the night. We complained about the noise and exhaust to the front desk, but they brushed us off, saying they do not collect the info about the car their guests travel in and have no means to contact the drivers. They refused to send someone in to advise the drivers who were at the trucks. We called Hilton's help line. They contacted the property but repeated the same. Quick stop off rt95 for 1 night. Staff was friendly, place was clean, breakfast was buffet. Our waitress was friendly and got us coffee when we needed it. Beds were comfortable and room was big an clean. Would highly recommend.

Decent room, however the 4 instead of 5 was due to the wallpaper in the bathroom looking run down and peeling, along with Mold in the ceiling area of the bath tub.

Lobby was modern and clean but cold, same with bar/restaurant...had to wear a coat as did the girl working it. This hotel is CASHLESS, I refuse to be forced to buy a bag of chips or a bottle of water with a credit card, same for a meal, it should be my choice! Room was clean and roomy but the heater was like a jet plane every time it came on and woke us through the night. The shower and toilet were in one area and the sink in another. In the shower area there was no where to hang a towel, or place clean clothes to dress after showering. One tiny hook on the door which only leaves the toilet (yuk) as a place to leave clothes. So tired of this trend, make the place user friendly please. The cashless thing is not something I want to support, will check ahead next time but it will not be here.

I was disappointed with the room the bath tubs were rusted all along the bottom and we needed the sofa bed which had a huge stain under the mattress so we couldn’t use. We got there very late and were unable to switch rooms bc my autistic son was already settled.

After driving 7 hours i finally got to the hotel and they had one incompetent person running the entire hotel on a Saturday night. The credit card machines were malfunctioning, and the employee was way out of her league as far as coming up with a solution. After about a half an hour she finally managed to created a room card key but waiting that long after 7 hours of driving i 95 hell will never make me take a chance on this hotel again. also, its a bit dated. Might have been a nice double tree 40 years ago, but time has not been its friend.

Overnighter on our way to Hilton Head. Pool towels were tiny. Thin. About the size of medium hand towels… restaurant never opened on a Friday night. We picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and a pool. Expected more from a Doubletree

Service provided excellent.

The check-in process was horrible. There were 2 girls at the counter and 1 was coloring ignoring people and the other was distracted by other people checking in. She didn't offer us any information other than the wifi sign in info inside the card sleeve. We didn't know what room we were in or where to park or how to get to the room. No information on the amenities available. The light outside our door in the hallway was flickering and made a loud buzzing sound that could be heard in the room which made it difficult to sleep soundly. The bed was not that comfortable. There were hairs in the tub when we got there so it wasn't cleaned completely prior to our checking in. The AC kept turning off in the night and not turning back on to keep the room cool it kept warming up making it harder to be comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay so much the first time around that I rebooked a room on my way back! Thank you again for your hospitality and your kindness. Until we meet again, keep up the good work everyone!

Complimentary chocolate cookie always a nice touch. Room and bathroom great size. Room and property is aging though, still, good choice for traveling and/or large groups.

It was perfect for our halfway point on our way to Florida.

The property was fine. What I didnt like was since I booked through expedia I did not earn my Hilton Honors points. No one talks about that . The savings through expedia does not offset the loss of points or stay credits.

The stay was good. The room lacked shower gel. I reported the issue to the front desk and was offered facial bar soap.

I stopped here for a night in the middle of a 14 hour drive. It is easily accessible off of 95. The area is well lit. I was hoping for somewhere safe and clean at a minimum just for a brief stop but was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel is. The room was big and cozy. I slept very well. Staff were very kind. I definitely will stay here again when in Fayetteville

The refrigerator in our room had old smelly food, the coffee pot didn’t work there was only one towel in the shower…the bar and restaurant was dirty with used utensil on the floor the tables were full of dishes the bartender was unfriendly.the breakfast buffet was way over priced and had little to offer..very disappointing from previous stay

Room very comfortable, facilities at the hotel itself extravagant and well kept. The room was standard fare, nothing to write home about. Stay does NOT include any completely breakfast— $8.00 continental and $18:00 for buffet— pricy and limited compared to Cracker Barrel across the street.

Had higher expectations. Rooms need to be upgraded. More staff needed at the reception. Was waiting for 10 min while the only staff was on the phone trying to reserve a booking for another customer. No apology for the wait from the hotel staff, just “how can I help you?” and we give complimentary cookies during check-in, which by the way I wasn’t given when checking in earlier. Disappointed with the service.

Arrival not very conducive to a return trip as no one spoke or welcomed me(two people there working). The person dropped my information on the floor never said sorry. It was like guests were not priority. However,checkout different story;ecellent person who was so friendly as was one of the cleaning staff personnel. Hotel looked older but was modernized and convenient facilities.

Great place to stay ! We stayed last year too! Siper roomy condo close to Disney. Lots of places around for gifts/food. Kitchen is huge! Beds are comfortable and its really clean. Price is way cheaper than staying on property at Disney snd you get so much more! There are 2 pools, 1 with slides and a hot tub, tennis and basketball courts, volleyball, shuffleboard, a playground, a gym and movies at night by the pool. You can borrow equipment for everything for free from the front desk. We will book this place everytime we come down.

It was a great one night stay. The front desk ladies are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is really nice looking and has a bistro inside for dining.

Hotel was very clean but "tired". Looked as if it were ready for renovations. Staff were perfunctory.

Furniture,etc. are a little old. Don’t like when hotel rooms have carpeting in the room, but other then that it’s a nice hotel.

There were not enough handicap spots for a property this size. As a man with one lung, oxygen dependent, and have multiple orthopedic conditions, parking was extremely taxing on my body No one offered to assist this helpless person with assistance getting bags to my room. Sad

I wouldn't say I liked Waterdown eggs for breakfast, and the potatoes was burnt and dry

1 night stay, needed to carry my journey on the following day, everything was perfect.

We have stayed here many times from our drive from CT to Disney but after the years it is the same and def needs to be updated. The rooms are clean and staff friendly but rooms need updating.

Love the onsite Tesla chargers. Hotel is tired and showing its wear and tear.

You need some additional work on the restaurant. Went in on Saturday night for dinner. Sat at the bar. When we sat down the bartender told us we couldn't order food for an hour. Chef or cook was too busy with 13 guys sitting at the bar. You need help in restaurant.

This property has FULL digital cable! Especially for a sport fanatic you have MLB Strike Zone & NFL RedZone!!! There's always a catch though 🤔 Absolutely no internet accessibility through the TV itself. If your into streaming while traveling. No App or On Demad compatibility. You'll have to bring a USB device or streaming device & HDMI cord. Not sure if the USB Ports are active or not. Other wise. What a comfy room. Haven't 😴 slept that well in months or even years! Maybe I was very exhausted from the 16 hour drive. Even so that room was a sleepy heads dream.

We reserved 2 rooms wife and I/adult children Asked for close together (did not ask for adjoining) Gave us 2 rooms as far away as possible (1 on each end of the hotel) when asked the front desk(different girl) she said there was nothing they could do even though I reserved 6 months prior The out side was dirty trash everywhere and basically felt unsafe Room was clean and presentable the housekeepers were very nice That’s the best I can say

I paid for a king suite and the sleeper sofa my grandchildren was to use had dried blood stains soaked on both sides of the mattress and I informed the front desk and nothing was done about it I have called the hotel several times and left messages and no response now when I call the phone disconnect and no one answered please advise me what to do I also have pictures of the mattress and the comb webs and the spiders that were in the sofa
