GreenTree Inn Flagstaff

The property was a great location. The rooms were clean and modern. Beds were super comfortable. The hotel is laid out, so you can park on either side and be close to your room. Everything is within a couple of minutes of the hotel, i.e. shopping, resturants, gas stations and the freeway.

Room appeared to be renovated and was nice. Pool wasn't open. Breakfast was basic. Arrived 30 minutes before check in and no rooms were available, had to return later.

Rooms are clean & quite! Lots of channel choices & very comfortable! Plenty of parking! If traveling with pets, it's great..alot of area to walk & do their business! Just make sure you bring your own potty bags as dispenser has been empty both of my stays but not a big deal! Staff are so helpful & kind, they all make you feel welcome & help you with any needs you may have! Lots of yummy places to eat extremely close by! Will stay here again!

There was plenty of parking around the hotel. Most of the rooms are updated. The coffee in room was great, fresh and tasty.

Terrific location. Property is a little bit under-maintained. But it’s definitely a handy stop in Flagstaff. Absolutely everything you need is close by. Staff is friendly too! Hate the bright white LED bulbs in the rooms. I actually brought my own warm white bulbs. But aside from that the rooms are spotless.

The staff was kind and recommended a dog friendly restaurant. Felt safe and location was convenient. At least try…the place is dog friendly but no where but in the lava rocks to take them to the bathroom. The rooms need to be updated for the cleaning staff to even have a fighting chance of making that place look ok. There was gaps in the flooring in the bathroom. The toilet might be refurbished from a first grade classroom cause they were abnormally close to the floor.

The only down fall is that the property is a little ways from Route 66.

Phone in the room was not connected to anything. The refrigerator barely cooled anything. Parking had trucks with trailers taking up half the parking. Would definitely pick somewhere else to stay next time.

Other guests were rude and pushy, with several cutting in front of people. Almost ten parking stalls were taken by some guy with a trailer, who parked right in front where there was already limited parking.

We didn't get our original room that we reserved. The blinds were broken and taped together. There was a lot of noise from the other guests. You had to walk outside, around the building, to go to breakfast in the lobby. The breakfast area was very narrow and small. The offerings for breakfast were minimal.

It was clean and a good location. The young man who worked at the desk and breakfast area was great and was really working hard. We didn't get our original room that we reserved. The room was comfortable and clean. This hotel is not very disabled friendly. Only disabled parking was in the front and not where the rooms are.

The bedroom my husband and I stayed at was presented nicely; however, cleaning could be more focused on! Luckily brought our own slippers because the floors were slightly dirty. The WiFi is a tad bit slow as well, but other than that, a warm welcoming atmosphere to stay at.

This property is a decent stay in the area. You can tell that there is some wear in the rooms, but it was clean and the staff waa very kind and courteous. We did not make it to the breakfast but it looked decent for a continental breakfast. We were on the first floor and could hear the people above so if you are sensitive to that kind of noise, ask for the 2nd floor.

Our stay was very pleasant. Overall, the room was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great—light, but good. The atmosphere was very peaceful, and we slept incredibly comfortably. The location was excellent—very central—and the surrounding area was beautiful, quiet, and safe.

Super easy check-in since I reserved & paid Expedia. A breeze & great front desk staff.

Traffic noise was audible from our room in the back building. To our surprise, we met a friendly visitor named Jim McMillan who caught us off guard but was pleasant and seemed very excited to see us. Also, there was hot coffee each morning. 2.5/5 stars

Room & linens not clean. There was dirt on the sheets underneath the blanket. The bathroom wall had grease marks on wall & door. Bath fan in ceiling filthy. Damage next to toilet paper holder sloppily fixed.

The room itself was fine, but the mirror was cracked, and there were some stains on the towels, which made me not want to use them. However, check-in was smooth, breakfast was included, and it was quiet. I’m not sure if I would stay again, but it’s good enough if you just need a place to sleep.

Didn’t feel very welcoming when I checked in. Receptionists were gossiping while I was wanting to get checked in as soon as possible. Not very professional, nor welcoming. When I was on my way to my designated room, I found my room door WIDE OPEN!! Conducted a thorough search of the room to ensure no one was inside. It was very eerie and spooky. Soon as I got in bed, the bed sheets had a weird distinct smell of chlorine and mold. But I was exhausted so I accepted my fate. Called reception desk to see if there was any particular reason my door was left wide open (maybe housekeeping?) and they had no idea either. The phone conversation was weird though, very eerie, there was a long pause of silence after she responded and then I said ok thanks and hung up. The bathroom was nice and clean though! And the water heated up very nice :). This inn was mid in all honesty. It can always be better! Will not return though, not worth the price for a night.

Rooms were not very clean. There were flys in our room -alive and dead. Dead flys in the shower and the floor. The floor was also terribly dirty. I lifted up my foot and it was black. Also the build is nonsmoking and there were two gentleman smoking right outside their doors and the smoke carried right up to the second floor where we were staying.

Enjoied the stay especially for the price! I would stay here as often as we visit Flagstaff.

The door to my room was wide open. Housekeeping lady was still changing the bedsheets and cleaning the room. I guess they do not communicate at the Greentree Hotel. And when I came back from a trip my room key would not open the door to my room. And for breakfast, the waffle machine was making my waffles raw, even though waffle maker did ring to let me know it was ready. I’ve stayed in this hotel numerous times in the past and never had any problems until this time. 😞

The property was nice. The lady at check in was extremely nice and informative. The parking lot is easy to maneuver through and had plenty of parking spots. The beds were comfy enough. The room was decent size. The floors were not swept/vacuumed in our room so we walked around the whole time with our sandals on because of the dirt and whatever else was on the floor. The continental breakfast in the morning was ok. It was an hour before breakfast ended and they were out of waffle batter and didn’t refill, they had breakfast potatoes and sausage that I grabbed instead and found a hair in my potatoes so I ended up eating toast.

Parking was easy and we had no issues with security while there. That being said, a group of about 10 bikers pulled in at about 11: 00pm at night and were outside and partying until about 3: 00am in the morning and nobody at the facility did anything about this. Nobody in that entire section of rooms could sleep. Horrible. There is no swimming pool or hot tub as advertised. It's a big hole in the ground covered up by a gross looking tarp and you can smell rancid standing water. The employees were nice enough and seemed to do their best to work hard with what they had available to them. This is definitely an issue with the owner of the facility not doing their job to properly care for the facility and finish upgrades or whatever they're going to do. It's the same price to stay here at many other hotels in the area and not nearly as good as those hotels. Book somewhere else is my suggestion to you. The breakfast is absolutely gross and literally nothing to choose from. We were there for 4 days and all three days the same. Sausage links, dry packaged microwave potatoes and a do it yourself waffle machine. Stale bagels that literally smelled stale and a damp. Froot loops and all the other serial containers were empty, and yogurt in a refrigerator. That's it. No eggs, no fruit, not even whole fruit like apples or bananas or something simple. Again, my suggestion is book somewhere else. You get what you pay for. In this situation you're paying nearly the same as better hotels.

We will never use this particular hotel or chain of hotels again.

The front desk staff are superb! Parking very good. Room’s were dirty. Bed cover had a foot print on it. Floss on sink.

A clean room with limited electrical outlets. Pleasant night. Breakfast was rather limited.

Now the downside. The window shade was in disrepair to the point that you could see in from the outside and I rigged a towel on a hanger to get by. The USB port (the only one I could find) was broken which was obvious by just looking at it. The sheets were very thin. The buttons to set the alarm clock were broken. (Cell phone issue so that was not an option. I asked for a wake up call to meet my shuttle to the airport. That call never came but I luckily woke up 10 minutes before the shuttle arrived. I told the front desk attendant that I didn't get the requested call. She gave an 'I couldn't care less' shrug, rolled her eyes, said "well sorry". I can deal with everything else as you get what you pay for. But the attitude of the front desk attendant was just about too much. I left quickly before my response had a chance to get out. My shuttle was waiting and it clearly wouldn't have mattered if I retorted.

Rooms were very nice. Wood floors, no step shower, and easy parking. Breakfast was fresh daily and staff was courteous.

There was no hot water in our room, went to get coffee and breakfast and there wasn't anything and could not find staff. When we checked in, the girl that helped us, she made it seem like it was an inconvenience to her. We will not stay there again.

During my stay, the towels in my room were never replaced. I politely asked a housekeeping staff member for fresh towels, but she refused and directed me to contact the front desk instead. As a result, I had to make multiple trips to the front desk just to get clean towels. Now at checkout, I have two piles of used towels sitting in the corner of the bathroom. This is completely unacceptable. This level of service was inconvenient and falls well below basic expectations for a hotel stay. I hope management addresses this issue to prevent future guests from having a similar experience.

I was informed by another hotel I had booked in advance that they had no hot water, so I had to find an alternative at the last minute. I’m very glad I chose this place. It’s quiet and comfortable. Even though my room was close to the highway, it wasn’t very noisy. The room was very clean, and although the breakfast area is not very large, the food is fresh. The front desk staff were very nice. I would definitely stay here again next time.

There were foundation makeup spots on sink counter, hairs in shower, hair beads and other stuff on floor, shower amenities were empty so had to get out mid shower to go dig stuff out of bag and there was what looked like an attempted washed out blood spot on sheets. Nice room but overall cleanliness was a big concern.

Wonderfully updated room, and a pet friendly property. Courteous and friendly desk clerk. A last minute booking put us in the back of the property by the freeway which was fine, but the 2:30 a.m loud tow truck outside our door was not. All in all a good stay.

All 3 of rooms not serviced. Items in rooms broken (ie phone, tv, heater). Pubic hair in fresh laundry and shower. Breakfast wasn’t enough to service the guests. To loud and up constantly during night from other guests and road noise. Reno job shotty. After asking for more towels, they said they’d bring more but never did. Just gross all around. Worst breakfast we’ve ever seen at a hotel. Bagels and bread and no toaster. Eggs and sausage were empty for most of the time. Finally got eggs and they were disgusting. The room is way too small for the number of people. One girl trying to manage the horrible food. I felt bad for her. She had no chance.

Manager stated she would refund me for the inconvenience of not having a functional pack n play. I express my exhaustion with not having a place to my baby to sleep in a contained space. She understood and offered a refund. I expressed I would be checking out early as I didn’t get any sleep the night before with having to hold my baby. The manager understood. My family was all packed yep in our suv, upon driving off the manager walks out with a functioning pack n play. She expressed the other one she had worked. I told her that’s great but my we’re all packed up and your other staff told me you guys didn’t have a working pack n play. The manager insisted that we stay because they had a working one. But at this point I hadn’t slept in 30 hours and we had already packed up all our snow gear a belonging the babies were already settled in the car. To unpack everything at this point would just add to my exhaustion I just wanted to go home. The manager said she understood. We drove off and headed home. As the manager expressed to me to put in request with Expedia about the experience so she could refund. Only to find out she declined giving it to me. I dont believe it’s fair to ask a family to unpack all their belongings while driving out the parking lot because you now found a working crib. The room was fine. It was the accommodation for having a baby that wasn’t reasonably. I would think many families with babies have to have similar experiences. Where do they put their babies?

My phone didn’t work, I couldn’t change the temperature of the room, when I went for breakfast at 8- breakfast was 6-9 there was no waffle batter, no eggs, no sausage, no juice, no creamer for coffee. The front desk lady was the same one trying to refill food, she was running everywhere

The location is very convenient. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. They are acceptably clean, but could use a deep/detailed cleaning… baseboards, door jams, etc. If you are gluten free or vegetarian, plan ahead for breakfast (coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, cold cereal, packets of oatmeal, waffles, bagels, yogurt (with artificial sweeteners, and a couple oranges out one of the days).

The room was clean and tidy. Enjoyed our one-night stay passing through town.

Cons - breakfast is from 6a-9a. At approx. 6:30a, my husband went out and found, literally, one slice of white bread on one shelf, no eggs,

no coffee in lobby, hair in shower, noisy.

Wall repair blemishes in the room. Entry light switch and light not working. Dog food found on the floor. Otherwise ok.

The room was suppose to be a non-smoking room, but it reeked of smoke. The front door failed to open while using the card. Couch had stains and bathroom floor had strains of hair on the floor and in the shower. The TV would not connect to the cable and there were no batteries to the remote control. The channel button did not work. Walls had crackling sound. The sound of dripping water throughout the night.

Room was clean except for the trash we found at the foot of the bed - cups and bottles. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was disappointing as they were out of waffle mix so no waffles, eggs looked gross, microwave out of order. Was told this hotel is under new management as of a couple months ago and that definitely wasn't a good way to show in the new management. Beds were terribly uncomfortable and only 3 pillows per bed. Need at least 4 per bed. Parking was easy.

Hotel room looked nice overall but our room did not have black out curtains and we happened to be in a corner room that had a bunch of hallway lights shining in. Picture attached was taken in the middle of the night. It felt like we had a nightlight on. The second night i asked for black trash bags to put over the window to block out the light and that worked. Breakfast on day 1 was also less than ideal, they were out of pretty much everything but eggs with notes that said sorry for the inconvenience. I chose my hotels for the breakfasts, so was extremely disappointed by this. The second day appeared to have everything back in stock. Also, there are no elevators. I do not blame the hotel for this as i likely didnt do good research on this, but if thats important to you, then this is your friendly reminder as i learned my lesson.

Pictures do not show this is a run down dump. Floors were filthy, shower was so bad i wouldnt shower in it, no way i would sleep in the bed.

Note that this is a MOTEL, not a hotel. The exterior picture provided is misleading as it only shows the front of the building. The room was relatively clean; however, the shower water did not get hot. Additionally, the breakfast was nothing like what was pictured. The waffle machines were out of order, and they were out of waffles, sausage, and bagels. Not a great experience, but also not the worst.

The staff is very friendly. The only downside is the lack of breakfast items. The choices were minimal and one of the main reasons for booking with this motel was it had breakfast.

The lone staff person had many customers ahead of us, and handled them all competently, pleasantly. We needed an extra blanket, it was no problem. Breakfast is pretty basic, but commendable for this price point.

Hotel is clean and efficient. Breakfast was just ok. We had first floor room which was perfect with our dog ($20 pet fee). Overall a great place for the price!

Staff was very nice! Felt safe enough. We stayed for one night and got in very late and called ahead to let them know and they helped us get to our room quickly.

There was no plates for breakfast, my group in the breakfast area , we have to leave but there was no plates, we have to use dirty plates of another people of group. It’s not possible

The room was very clean, eco-friendly and had toiletries in case you didn’t bring your own stuff. The room was warm when we turned up the temperature and the house keeping staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Room extremely outdated. Boogers stuck to the ceiling above the bed. Breakfast was cold and food uncovered drinks so bad. Staff actually commented "I don't know how to fix it".

Front desk girls were very helpful. I originally received a 2nd floor room however due to the stairs, I asked to be moved. They happily made the change. The room was very clean and spacious. Located in a good area. Felt safe, no complaints on this stay. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel even though it was offered. Would stay again if ever in the area.

The staff is pleasant and helpful. Rooms are nice and pet friendly with a fee for pets.

The sheets & towels were stained. We set up for late check out & when we came into the room after my child’s soccer game to allow them to change before we checked out & went to another game the cleaning crew had already stripped our room. This was at 1030 am - when regular check out isn’t even until 11am and we arranged to check out late.

Easy check in, friendly staff, good morning breakfast, standard breakfast food. Coffee was ok, there a SB across the street in Bashas. Close to campus. Would stay again

This place was very well cared for.

The price was convenient for us. We were passing through from Phoenix and our way home from my daughter’s appointment.

It was mostly clean but very run down. It’s the extra little touches like when there’s a hole in the wall, patch it and paint it. Don’t leave it in finished. Baseboards were pulled off and fridge didn’t work.

Bathroom was unclean, room was average. Fine for a one night stay. Staff was friendly, pool is out of order.

Door to the room was difficult to open, low water pressure. Breakfast area was out of milk, toast, and coffee in the morning, which was a bummer with kids.

Shower dirty we not even used it and poor breakfast and outlets broken safety issue thankfully i was there for one night we deal with it even i complained right after saw those issues staff not even suggested to moved us to a different one or a least clean it.

The queen bed was in bad shape. Completely caved in on one side. The floors were not clean and the toilet seat was chipped.

Love that it was solid surface flooring vs carpet but the flooring had a bunch of issues with gaps and walking around barefoot was uncomfortable and somewhat of a hazard. Disappointed the pool and hot tub were drained and the shower never got hot, it was lukewarm at best even after running for a few minutes. We ok but won't be staying again.

The rooms were dirty. We had to ask for a new room because there was dirt and hair all over the beds, the towels were dirty. The floor looked like it hadn't been swept. There was even a booger on the shower wall. When we switched rooms it was a little cleaner than the last but I would not stay there again.

Nice enough place for the price, but the floors were filthy (they made my toddler granddaughter's feet black in minutes). But the bed was comfy and spotless... could use more pillow options as all 4 were super flat.

Our room was right beside the highway so started getting noisy at 6 am, the usual waffle sausage patty & egg breakfast from 6am-9am Beds are clean & comfortable, good for a late night overnight stay excellent & friendly staff at check in.

It was a great stay! Everything is excellent except some dirt you could easily find in the room, the room is renovated but the you could find some hair at the floor and the corner of the desk.

The bed was very comfortable - the bathroom was kind of small, but it’s OK because the sink and everything was outside of the toilet and shower. The staff was very nice. Good breakfast. It’s dog friendly with a very reasonable fee. Close to freeway, across from large center with Walmart, restaurants, etc. Easy parking, has dog walk area. Lots to do in the area.

If I could give zero stars I would consider it. I'm not sure how this establishment has positive reviews at all it was literally awful. The employees at check in were grumpy and sad. There was human hair long and very short all over the bathroom and shower. I don't think the bathroom had been cleaned in quite sometime and the towels were for sure not washed after the previous guests and had no fluff to them at all. The shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash were from dispensers on the wall and smelled exactly like pinesol. All the furniture in the room was beat to hell so the 100 deposit they charge is absolutely unnecessary as the damage is done prior to your arrival.The pool is closed and covered in tarps with cinder blocks holding it down. This area is very sketchy and I would absolutely not stay in this place alone. Walls are very thin and cracking everywhere. "Breakfast" left a lot to be desired. This place was miserable I didn't sleep under sheets or walk barefoot at all. I thought paying a little extra would help get a better place to stay but that was absolutely not the case here. I'd rather sleep in my car or the wilderness with the wild animals. The front desk lady when we checked out was happy and cheerful.

Hotel was convenient for a night but would not stay any longer. Was not clean and had no hot water for a shower. Front desk did not care.

Pool and Jacuzzi drained..breakfast was limited Bagels and if you wanted hassles of making waffles..no ice machine..stains on doors..toilet was literally less than a foot off the floor.

We were told at check in that pool and hot tub was unavailable and broken. We specifically picked this one for pool and brought bathing suits. The desk help told us that Hotels.com should have updated us but they never do. The fixtures were old and crusty. The lobby smelled like a funeral home. I picked this over a less expensive for the amenities and was very disappointed…

Was very pleased with our stay.

This hotel had mixed reviews, so we decided to risk it. Terrible mistake. The floors were dirty, the bathroom had a clothing tag on the floor behind the door, and the biggest problem is that the water took 30 mins to get hot. Called the front desk and they said maintenance wouldn’t get there until 9am. This hotel is an updated motel 6. The ice machine doesn’t work, so I went to the front and they gave me the smallest amount of ice.

Wipe down the walls.. entrances ..fridge needs defrosting. Fix your remote and TV

The rooms are cramped and run down. The bathroom is so small that it is difficult to open the door wide enough to get inside around the toilet. It looka like there may have bern a hand towel rack on the wall that is no longer there. There were just holez in the wall. It was really noisy and the insulation was poor so you could hear everything outside and in the adjacent rooms. The only good thing was that everything was clean.

If you stay here, be on the second floor. You can hear everything above you. Early in the morning house keeping starts dragging bins around and they are loud. The breakfast may look good on the website pictures but the burritos and breakfast sandwiches were not good. However, the staff made up for a lot of that. They were friendly and went above and beyond.

Staff were great and very efficient. Bathroom small but clean. Room size ok. Beds were great-- very comfortable, and liked the selection of pillows. Nice desk lamp.

Stayed here with my friends for a festival weekend. The room was clean and comfy and conveniently less than 10 mins away from the venue. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice room but it was very loud work outside noises and the curtains didn't make it very dark which made it hard to sleep.

Could have a nicer space for doggy park too many rocks hard to walk on.

We have stayed here several times. The only real disappointment this time was the pool and spa where closed. I wish they would have made that known before booking.

Our stay was good! We just notice a few things that needed some attention. Like the microwave was a little to old and was not working property, also the window treatments had a malfunction and had tears here and there.

Ice machine not working.

This property was selected because of the affordable price and proximity to meetings we had to attend. We chose it again while passing through the same area on our return trip because it was a known and acceptable entity for needs.

The pool was not open. No ice machines. Had to change rooms because tv did not work.

Bathroom was very clean, but the bed side table was covered in syrup, including the phone. Also, the bed sheets did not appear to be fresh and clean. The site showed that it was pet friendly but neglected to mention there was a charge for the pet and that he wasn’t. Allowed anywhere other than the room.

The first room we were given was not cleaned properly (filthy mirror, hair on toilet seat) and the second room was not much better (dirty walls, shower, and surfaces). The cleaning staff does not seem to be doing a thorough job and there is a lot of wear and tear (tape on baseboards, peeling paint, mold in grout, etc). The breakfast had very little nutritional options like fresh fruit or protein, and instead had mostly carbs. I also didn't feel very safe staying there. Overall the Inn was way overpriced for what you receive and I would never choose to stay in this Inn again nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. The staff were polite however.

Floor was sticky- toilet paper holder was not attached- multiple filled holes in walls that weren’t painted- staff was unfriendly. Door would shut without slamming- Murrow was dirty

Thankfully with GPS, we were able to find the hotel. Check-in was easy. Room was clean and spacious. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable but served its purpose. We left to catch a flight before breakfast but the spread looked like it would be good. Had a waffle iron!

The beds were nice and comfy. I didn't like that the floors were dirty and walked around in my bare feet on dirty floors.

Hotel needs maintenance. Refrigerator wonky. Bad lighting.

One cool thing they offered was “room service.” The menu is from the Mexican restaurant across the street and can take up to 45 minutes, but sometimes you don’t feel like going anywhere after traveling for a long time. We just ended up walking across the street to the Buffalo Wild Wings (overpriced). There is also a Walmart across the street. The room was clean and comfortable. But there are other properties very close that we would try before staying here again.

We paid $25 per pet per night. There was not a good dog relief area on site. What they had was signs to stay off the small parcels of grass. The tiny relief area had sharp volcanic rooks that were not conducive to walking on for our dogs. Note: there is a nice walking path next to the adjacent hotel that we ended up using. Front desk should have told us about it. On a positive note, the room was fairly spacious, good tv reception, bed was comfortable and the shower was very good.

Rooms were nice. Loud housekeeping carts. I appreciated the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I’ve machine was broken. Breakfast was okay.
