From what I am used to to staying in the room was okay? It wasn’t nothing to write home about but it was 1000 better than the Hotel Blu in Myrtle Beach. Never Ever go there!!!! The staff were amazingly friendly they were the best part of the hotel. Breakfast was good I love a hotel with breakfast. It’s a small town so nothing really to do!

Recommended if you have to stay one or two nights. Worth the short drive in from the highway. Had to pay $5 for parking, which makes no sense.

The property is always in great order. The room did need the carpet cleaned which is unusual. The staff are always nice and the breakfast staff are very accommodating. We stay here on our yearly trek north.

Friendly staff. Only negative is that the hotel is close to the train station and you can hear trains going by at night. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance.

Mostly a pleasant day, there must be a reason that microwaves are not in the rooms but having at least 1 on the floor with rooms for physical challenges would nice. Warming up food in the kitchen microwave and you are onthe 5th floor means a trek.

Very clean and friendly staff. The only thing I don’t care for is the parking lot being so far especially when I have two small children. And none of the luggage carts were available. As soon as we get to our floor, a luggage cart was sitting in front of the elevator where someone had left it instead of retuning it. Luckily, two nice gentleman helped us with the luggage. So I don’t recommend if you’re traveling with little kids.

It would have been nice to have been Wayne in advance of the train that could be heard loudly blasting its horn multiple times while we were trying to sleep. Or given ear plugs. There was also some weird scratching noise coming from the wall intermittently that sounds like a critter

Everything was great except the staff at the bar. The first girl didn’t know how to use a bottle opener to open a beer. I asked the second girl to put in a grilled cheese right away so I can bring it up to my 1 year old baby. It took about an hour to get this grilled cheese and it came out with the rest of my food. I was given no bag to carry my several boxes of food. The grilled cheese fell on the ground and the bartender would not take the 7 dollars off of my bill. Horrible bar service.

Was stay was wonderful and the staff was so kind and courteous. I had two different reservations bank to back and was very happy that I could keep the same room for both nights.

We were there for 5 nights and no one knocked on our door to clean our room. We had to ask for clean towels and empty our own garbage cans. The service was terrible.

First, staff were good. Satisfied with the hospitality, nice, polite and knowledgeable. Room was clean and organized. TV was of good size so that’s another plus. Easy checkout. The hotel could use more plastic such as plastic cups instead of glass cups even in the rooms also when serving breakfast. Other than that, me and my fiancé are perfectly satisfied with my stay over Valentine’s weekend. Oh, parking is a little walk away which isn’t too bad but just know you’ll walk a piece to the parking area that is a small fee. Highly recommend you to stay if you’re in Florence, SC.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. Check in was good and staff helpful. My only complaint was in regard to a freezing rain storm that occurred overnight and it made walking to the designated parking area very treacherous. Customers walking to their cars were slipping and sliding as well as falling. The hotel only salted the immediate front of the building directly in front of the door.. they seemed unconcerned about the situation and assistance should have been provided to the guests trying to get to their cars!

Mattress was soiled under the sheets. How a Hyatt doesn’t have a washable mattress cover under the sheets is beyond me! They had a square mattress pad centered on the bed so you’re only protected from allergens if you sleep in the center of the bed. The pillows should also be firmer, or give two soft pillows and two firm. Everything was clean and satisfactory. There is an active train track one light away so I did hear that into the night and it also made travel difficult. I had to reroute on two occasions leaving there because trains came. Eggs were super dry for breakfast.

Im a huge dog lover BUT also allergic. I know, its a cruel universe. The location allows dogs which is awesome unless they are everywhere and your allergic. My eyes were so swollen and itchy and couldnt stop sneezing. I had to leave the dining area because there were so many dogs. If no pet allergies I hugely recommend this hotel. If you have pet allergies, stear clear.

We stop at this hotel whenever we are in the area. Always quiet and clean. The rooms are well sized and the beds are very comfortable.

The staff was very friendly. The location is beautiful, I wish we had more time to explore around. Breakfast was average at best, not many options. We arrived very late at night, and our room was not made. The desk clerk was very fast in giving us another one that worked well.

It’s a very good choice. It was downtown. It was safe right across the street from the police department. It was friendly professional, and the room was clean and the food was good.

The Ac is broken is room 508 louder then the TV impossible to sleep. But they leave you earbuds to help. Or they could fix it but the won’t.

Stayed for 2 nights with my son for a tournament. Safe, clean, excellent location at the end of the street downtown so it was quiet at night. Yummy breakfast every morning. Convenient parking in lot across the street. Only qualm I had was our room wasn’t cleaned Saturday and when I inquired, I was told I needed to request it. I was not aware daily cleaning was not automatic. Otherwise, great place; would definitely stay there again!

After two nights, I stopped by the front desk and asked for maid service for our remaining day. Upon our return, the room was not made/ cleaned. We spent three nights without room service.

Stayed here for my birthday and it was perfect! Great location and amenities. They did have an unexpected surcharge of about $30 but they did offer a $15 bar credit.

Upon arriving we were encountered by a man asking for money very aggressively. Staff communicated with him to not to continue to approach us. The man didn’t listen and proceeded to ask again for more money even after we gave him the cash we had, we then had to walk in the dark and park our vehicle across the street. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well as we were concerned about the safety of our belongings. The hotel it self is beautiful and exceptional in cleanliness. Unfortunate location.

The pool was closed, so I could not enjoy that. Had to switch rooms on check in due to the first room a/c no blowing, and the refrigerator was frozen and not working. The remote for the TV was missing. When moved to 2nd room, it was much better. No complaints on 2nd room

Very nice; nearby restaurants and bars make it a fine stopping place on long drives. One of our rooms had an issue getting the AC to work, but that’s a small quibble. Would certainly stay there again.

Nice hotel, very dangerous outside of the hotel due to the local drug and homeless population. I’d recommend vacuuming under mattress and behind beds. Nice breakfast and coffee, good location but Florence is slowly rebuilding with several nice places to eat.

Solid place for an overnight stay

Sheets were dirty, people were having a party at the pool had their speaker blasting, rooms were dirty.

The bar had one person working as bartender and cook. While she was doing her best to attend to the customers, this backed up service. It took 22 minutes to get our beverage order taken through no fault of her own. The “free breakfast” was understaffed as well. No bowls for cereal, no cream for coffee, empty hot pans, etc. The staff was friendly and the rooms were adequate but management has to reassess the food and beverage scene

Check in was fast and easy. The Hotel Lobby was clean and had a lounge and bar inside. We did not use the pool but there is one on the premises. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathroom was clean and fully stocked. Only thing I did not like was the parking. You have to drive down an alley away from the hotel to get into the parking lot. Would stay again if in Florence.

Beds were terrible, spider on one of the beds, stained sheets on the other. Went down for breakfast at 9:00 the next morning (breakfast until 9:30) and there were no clean glasses, silverware or bowls. Asked the front desk person (who was the only staff person on the floor) and she stated that they knew and were being washed but tha she would text the kitchen staff to let them know. No estimation on time to having clean dishes…so we ultimately just went back to the room and checked out.

I happened upon this hotel after needing to check out of the “ nicer “ hotel next door that had mold growing on the walls. I found this Hyatt to be clean and staffed with delightful people.

The only issue we had was the hotel’s cleaning policy, the don’t clean everyday and they don’t provide clean towels unless you ask for them.

This was an outstanding stat for the Florence Wine & Food festival!

the king bed was a queen we paid for a king the room that was given was a prison view of nothing but a white wall they did not service our room until we asked we had to sit trash and dirty towels outside room door the breakfast was horrible no taste the bun toaster did not work out of plates and glasses definitely not worth the price wish I could get my money back but bathroom sink drain clogged crack in shower wall

Very nice clean hotel. Great breakfast. Very modern. However, the first impression was with one of the ladies on reception. She was not there for 25minutes after we arrived at 4pm. I had to walk round the hotel and find the kitchen staff and ask them to find her! After she appeared she was still facetiming her partner and kept the call on while she was checking us in - terrible. After that bad start all was fine, and the lady on reception the next day couldnt be better.

After a long day of travel up north from Florida in terrible traffic, we checked in around midnight only to be disappointed when we got to our room to find one king bed and a sofa. We booked 2 queen beds for our family and not all of us could sleep comfortably in a king size bed. I voiced my concerns about the room to the receptionist and he was kind to come up to help set up the pull out couch with extra linens and provide my husband with a pillow. Regardless of the hospitality from the staff, I was not satisfied with the booking.

We enjoyed the clean and well kept room on our overnight layover on our way to Folly Beach. Check in and out we're both very easy and fast. The barn had great drinks and a cool bartender. We liked the food too. The second floor terrace is nice too. We will definitely stay here again when heading south for a layover stay.

King suite room with sleep sofa was very spacious. Hotel is in a quiet area with very little traffic, which makes across the street parking perfectly convenient. Breakfast was much better than average.

You can hear trains all night long. They didn’t put bags in their trash cans just left them for you to do it. The food and bar were absolutely awful. Food was terrible and the bartender was the only one cooking and serving the bar. Told other customers all the other food around that was good. The shower pressure was terrible. I would not stay again.

Just a super simple but super well done hotel

From start to finish our stay was really nice. Staff was great, rooms were clean, beds were comfy. A few minor things: housekeeping forgot to wipe down the desk (no biggie), the pool needed to have the net swept thru it (little leaves around the edge by the stairs) and the front outside seating area needed to be swept.. and that was ALL! Perfect location. Just an fyi- everything closes early!

The stay was fine, but the room was hot. We reported that the air seemed to not work properly, and she typed something in the computer and said ok. The toilet was also not flushing and she handed me a plunger in a dirty bag that seemed to have thowup on the bag. I was not impressed with the customer service. The room was clean and the hotel was nice. The breakfast buffet was great, but was not well attended. The coffee ran out and so did some of the food on the hot bar. We visited the breakfast buffet early in the morning around 6:30/7.

Truly unfortunate that the restaurant was closed because you had no staff there to work it! We specifically chose a location with an onsite restaurant so that after driving for more than 14 hours, we could enjoy a dinner and drinks in our hotel. So disappointed!

Although we ended up with a room that was very upsetting and heartbreaking. I had made that reservation in Dec28, 2025. I never received anything from hotels.com stating my reservation had been cancelled. This was a horrible experience!

We stopped for one night as we were in the middle of a long drive from NJ to FL. The hotel was very nice, and the room was fabulous. Very spacious, clean, and recently updated. Highly recommended!

Great stop not too far off of I-95! Staff was super friendly, especially our check-in receptionist and the bartender that evening! Food and drinks were great! Shower was wonderful and beds were comfy. Very dog friendly which was great for the pups! Downtown Florence was cute and there are plenty of other restaurants and shops within walking distance. I read complaints about the proximity of the train tracks and noise, but we did not notice it at all during our stay.

Customer service isn't their specialty unfortunately. We stayed at the Tapestry down the street a week ago and the difference in service was shocking. Hotel was good. Clean and a nice room. But if you are into being treated well I would stay elsewhere.
