there was a lizard in the room when informed the cashier he said its south florida you gonna have them , the airfreshner in the room was over done , you could feel the springs in the mattress not one bit worth the money they are charging for the rooms

The room was clean with a comfortable bed, parking felt fairly priced, and the staff were genuinely great. Maggie, the manager, especially stood out. The building is definitely a bit dated, and you can sometimes hear through the walls/door. The pools are pretty small, and the laundry room wasn’t the nicest space to use. Still, for the price and location, it’s an easy recommendation. It’s not fancy, but it’s comfortable, convenient, and has a good vibe overall.

We loved our spacious room and kitchen; the pools and the nearby beach. Plenty of nice restaurants, too. Parking was convenient and we could walk to a couple of attractions (Hugh Taylor Birch SP and the Bonnet House) that both had lovely gardens. Our unit had a private balcony that was great for reading and people watching:).

Room was nice and quiet as requested, beautiful grounds and great places around to eat, very close to the beach. Will gladly stay at this place again. The room did not include a chair or table, but this was not an issue for my stay.

Exceptional

I love coming to Aqua Hotel and all the other properties they manage. The location is amazing, the beach is one block away and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. The only issue we encountered was the AC unit that didn’t work at night, but we survived! The rooms are very spacious and well equipped for a weekend vacation. We can’t wait to be back in June!!

Our stay at the property was terrific. We came for a wedding and fully enjoyed ourselves. My wife and I were greeted by Maggie at the front desk. She was wonderful, polite, courteous,and very warming. She walks us directly to our room and explained the amenities which were perfect

The room, hotel territory, and distance to the beach were all great — we really liked everything overall. The only downside was the noise in the mornings. If you’re planning to sleep past 8 AM, forget about it. Starting around 8–9 every morning, there were extremely loud noises above our room — it sounded like ремонт or air conditioner replacements every single day. Because of that, we didn’t get enough sleep during our stay.

Parking was easy and convenient. It's $10 per night. Rooms were clean and spacious. We had a few maintenance issues with door hadles, the pool cushions were quite dirty, and the poll needed to be skimmed. Staff was pleasant at times then abrupt and rude for what seemed like no reason - not deal breakers. Excellent location. Everything we needed was a quick walk away.

The size of the property was great and the location to the beach was great. The facilities were a little tired. The window was broken to the bedroom and the kitchen utensils were in pretty bad shape. If these small issues are addressed then there would be nothing to complain about.

Parking was $10 per day. Very reasonable and always available. No problems. Enjoyed the courtyard area and lounge seating for morning coffee or drinks. Very comfortable. Staff was professional but also made us feel they were glad we were there. Very nice team. Building is vintage concrete solid. We could not hear anyone.

Great property and great location. 5 minute walk to beach and many eating options. The hotel is peaceful and quiet with 2 pools. The rooms are a bit dated and small but we don't spend any time in them so they work well for us. Large, comfortable bed and well designed given size of room. And Maggie, our hostess/manager gets a special shoutout as she could not have been more friendly or helpful.....see you next year Maggie!!!!

i asked for an extended stay 12 ~12:30 for a business meeting. At exactly noon the key access to the room was cut off with my bags still in. The staffer was very curt and rude stating I overstayed by 2 min. I also thought I was getting a bigger room with an actual kitchen table. Instead we got a very tiny room.

No power outlet near the bed. There are plenty cozy chairs on property territory but pillows definitely requires laundry/cleaning.

We had two queen beds and a king Size bedroom. Really nice boutique hotel would definitely stay here again. The price was good and Maggie is Amazing. We had the best time . Room 1107 right by the pool. Our room had 3 huge beds. Super clean. Bedding was nice. Maggie the manager was always around making sure everything was done right. Music is playing in the courtyards, tons of seating areas to sit and chill. We loved sitting out front and watching the valet parking across the street at the four seasons at night. Good people watching. Food to avoid-sun surf sand, coconuts, food to ENJOY village cafe, Casablanca. Uber eats Gai chicken yum, pho 75 yum.

Staff was nice, amenities were terrible (there are none), room was so run down, smelled bad, felt so old, water in then toilet, sink, and shower was discolored and the shower didn’t drain, pooled up. I went and bought flip flops to walk around the room and shower in. Couch had stains on it, Roku TV didn’t work. Did not feel clean at all. The only saving grace was the bed. Comfortable and felt clean. I do not recommend. The only reason I stayed was because I was here for work so I was barely in the room but I just feel like people show know before they book

Great location one block from the beach right behind the Four Seasons Hotel. Cute property with warm swimming pools (they were 95 degrees while we were there). Great value for the prime location. Property and room is showing some where and tear. We stayed between xmas and NYE with the property at max occupancy and staff was struggling to clean rooms for guests staying.

Great location as it’s one block to the beach. The beach itself was wonderful. Multiple heated pools. Very friendly staff. It’s a good alternate to the big hotels. The area is safe and swanky as this hotel is located across from Four Seasons. We stayed with family and would stay here again in the future

My family of six stayed here one night before getting on a cruise in Ft Lauderdale. Highly recommend! Place had been updated and was very clean. The staff was so welcoming and extremely helpful!

Clean room on the small side. Late Check in had us waiting for 10 minutes for clerk to show up from another property, but smooth after that, very friendly. AC worked really well, decent little spot for a layover.

The check in was great with Maggie. She made us feel welcome. The hotel has a very laid back beach vibe. The 2 pools are small but very nice to use after a hot day in the sun. The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom had been recently remodelled, which was nice and modern. My only complaint is that I wish that water had been provided in our room.

The only downside is that there are lyft drivers that block the parking lot, i believe just waiting to be able to service someone. They did move when we needed to park, but i can see it may be a source of annoyance for others. Otherwise i highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite (sleeps 6), room was spacious and AC worked properly. TVs were tiny and required internet to use which did not work for us. We were only there for 2 nights and not having internet was not the biggest issue but it could have been if were there for longer. They did not fix the issue but gave us late check out instead. Overall it’s a good location for the price we paid. There are not a lot of affordable restaurants around since it is located next to 5-4 stars hotels. Short walk to the beach and they have pools, which was nice. Wish they had beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow or rent.

We stayed for one night on our way to the Keys. This hotel is perfectly located just steps from the beach with many great restaurants, quite price as they are located in high class hotels. The bed on our room was very comfortable. There's a small fridge, coffee maker and a microwave - everything you need for a comfortable stay plus parking. We will be back.

Everything from check in to check out was a breeze! The location is prime! 1 block to the beach! Archibald’s bakery is a must! The only negative thing I can say is the hair dryer gave off an unpleasant smell.

This is an older property that's been given a facelift. It's priced accordingly for the area. The staff is extremely courteous and the location is excellent. It's a block off the beach. The room felt very damp the entire 3 days we were there, but other than that I don't have any particular complaints. The beds were very comfortable and it's extremely quiet and the parking is convenient.

This is our 2nd time staying at the Aqua Hotel and it was an absolute pleasure! The staff is so nice, the rooms are big and comfortable and close to everything! We walked down to the Village Cafe every morning for delicious coffee at a great price! Honestly the best place for families in Fort Lauderdale hands down!

Very friendly and helpful staffs, and convenient location for the beach. Room is comfortable and clean. Having a kitchen is nice for our family with longer stays. The only downside is limited parking spaces, especially for holidays. Luckily they share parking with several other hotels. Sometimes you need to drive around and looking for parking a few blocks away.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were large and everything was very clean. The grounds were so cute. A very short walk to the water was a bonus.

Made people wear wrist bands and had a no guest policy in rooms. Never have been told by hotel staff who I was or was not allowed to have in my room. They did not disclose this information before running my card. Anyone who entered on the premises was supposed to give their ID to the front desk and sign a waiver.

Nicholas is awesome! He showed us to our rooms and gave us insight to restaurant options nearby. This is the second time he has been outstanding. We love staying in the North Beach Collection. Each hotel has its own unique character.

This is a wonderful hotel in the BEST location in Fort Lauderdale Beach. It's only one block away from the beach, but it's so quiet and peaceful compared to the beach front hotels. It's got a beautiful, relaxing courtyard in between two pools. The staff is super nice and helpful. I've already made my reservation to return for a week in November.

This is a hidden gem. On a side street just a block from the beach. It's a little oasis all on its own. A cute courtyard area, two swimming pools (small) and spotless facilities. Way above expectations.

A really cute boutique property, great staff. Not high end but comfortable and exactly what we were expecting. One block from the beach, good restaurants and cruise port.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Bthe location was very convenient, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed and a reasonable price.

We will be returning next Xmas :)

Wonderful staff. Clean, well maintained refreshed property. Quiet section of Ft Laud beach. Rooms are small but functional . Windows in my room didnt open for fresh air.

Quite a lovely stay all around. Like the low rise 1950’s feel of the place! Friendly and helpful management.

Hotel is dated, simplistic and quaint, very close to the beach and good service. Would stay again.

Really close to beach and beach towels provided compliments of the hotel. Had to pay for parking ($10)

The location was good but the parking was difficult. Check in was not easy as there was no one at the desk. You had to ring and then it took 10 minutes for someone to come as there is no one on site. Nice seating area in hotel and great restaurants close by. All in all a good location but not great amenities/experience.

Very good service

The entire property is so cute and well cared for! Our room was on the 1st floor and our front door opened up right to the patio with 1 of the 2 pools on the property! The rooms have a “retro-modern” decor and the beds are very comfy! The staff is the most friendly hotel staff I’ve ever encountered! We were greeted and cared for by Maggie! She is so friendly and helpful and made it feel like we were visiting our favorite aunt! I had a delivery to the hotel, she was attentive and was genuine when she said to reach out to her if we needed anything! I was able to text her when our a/c in the main room wasn’t working. She responded immediately and the a/c was replaced within the hour! The location is a huge plus!! It’s only a 1/2 block from Ft Lauderdale Beach Ave and the beach! The hotel has a freshwater and a saltwater pool and the pools have plenty of sun! We were visiting Ft. Lauderdale for our child’s annual sport event and we will definitely be staying at the Aqua Hotel every year from now on!

This wasn’t the first nor the last time we stayed here. The staff is amazing and the location is perfect.
