Old and worn bed, you can feel mattress springs, bathroom, walls and roof patched and not painted, old and worn walls and rugs, dirty rugs, dusty and humid rooms. I was excessively charged on my account a security deposit before I even got to the hotel.

Spacious and well-lit parking. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was the same every day (I stayed 4 days), but it was good. Areas for improvement: The toilet in the room didn’t refill quickly. Overall, a good place for the price.

We liked everything about this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, stuff is friendly.

Breakfast was marginal at best!! Eggs dry and old. Muffins were limited, dry and hard. No bread. Breakfast is why I stay at Custom Suites.

Breakfast was not good at all. They ran out of plates one day, and syrup for the waffles. The eggs tasted like rubber. I requested for housekeeping to restock my towels and change trash twice and know one came to my room. I would not recommend this hotel.

It was a comfortable stay.

Overall the staff was welcoming and helpful. I had an issue with the toilet flushing and the maintenance helped immediately. Breakfast was okay. Parking was easy. I was able to ask front desk staff for extra toiletries and they provided. The only issue was either the next door neighbor of my room or hotel music being played until 12 midnight a little loud but that’s Florida for you .

Everything was great except I have to pay an extra $100 when I asked why the receptionist say that’s the property policy she said I will get it back I doubt it. That only reason I will not stay there if I have to travel imagine I didn’t have an extra $100 otherwise everything else was great.

From the moment we checked in, we knew we were in a great hotel. Everything was clean, the food was delicious for breakfast, and the amenities were top notch. They even offer a little market that is very reasonably priced for a hotel. We will absolutely stay again!

The breakfast could improve. The room had roaches and the furniture is old and worn out. The parking is safe. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff super friendly. The amenities not much of any.

The furniture in the room, bed, appliances, and bathroom amenities are very outdated which gives a leas desirable and uncleanly appearance. Check in process was easy and seamless. The staff was friendly. The breakfast selection had very few options and did not taste well.

Very convenient location for what I needed. This comfort in has nice rooms very clean friendly staff. 15 to 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach. Grocery stores, restaurants, liquor, store a couple bars all within 10 minutes. Of this location. I will definitely be staying here in the future no question about it. My day was very enjoyable.

The room smelled like it was never cleaned before. I had to go out and buy cleaning products to make it breathable. The mattresses were brown and dirty and smelled like baby piss.

Front desk night clerk was outstanding, very pleasant. Room was okay, shower should be replaced, but beds very comfy. Breakfast was fine, I enjoyed the juice and coffee, but sausage needed to be cooked more. I will stay there again when I come down again!!!

Room smelled of wet dog and sweaty feet and bathroom smelt like urine. The pillows on the bed were the size of throw pillows. We got stuck in the elevator and the front desk just watched my kid try and pry the door open before they came over to help.

My husband and I talked to the staff about our room having a smell bad odor coming from the carpet and they agreed to have someone come in and clean and deodorize the carpet while we supposed to be gone to our family event but when we came back each time we was there for days this mail was just his words as it was when we first checked in the room. I spoke with the manager about it at breakfast the second day they still assured me that they would take care of it each day it was the same promise but was not fulfilled. I even asked him did they welcome pets they said no because the smell of the room the carpet was so stained like they had a dead dog or something in it . When we got ready to check out my husband had went ahead of me and paid the full price and I asked them about some type of refund and he said he couldn't give us any discount for anything because we had booked a room through you all. I only stayed one night and was disappointed in this hotel given the price. I got in at 2 am so didn’t know that the exit door I was near would wake me up early with all the foot traffic. The bathroom had prior water damage —the door was delaminating and the door wouldn’t stay open. The breakfast eggs appeared to be either rehydrated or pre-packaged cubes--I didn't bother eating anything.

My husband and I always go for a breakfast hotel. Comfort Inn and Suites has never disappointed us. The place is just well kept and clean, just like our home in Jamaica. The front desk person was very informative, we were able to call Jamaica and visit Coral Spring Mall based on her suggestions, we met her at 8pm on Dec 28 when we checked in. We also got an upgraded room. We love Comfort Inn and Suites.

Check in was quick and friendly. Room was clean with plenty linen and hot water. I chose this location for safety (traveling with kids) and quiet. Was perfect for what we needed. My son ate some breakfast but the rest of us skipped it.

My stay was ok. I was very disappointed upon checking in i was told that the room i booked wasn't available because they are overbooked.. Thats not ok. This is my first time that iI ever have this experience my booking was weeks in advance. Upon showing her my email confirming my reservation she's now apologizing. I had to take my cousin room and she takes mine. After traveling i was super tired and annoyed. The beds were very comfortable but the carpets smell very bad in the rooms and the hallways. The hotel needs upgrade. The area is very convenient.

The crusty substance stuck to the microwave plate for God knows how long (discovered on my first night at this property - along with a filthy washcloth & used 'Duck Bill clip') in a room I was told was clean, gave me every reason to doubt the level of service provided by housekeeping at this location - however, the receptionist's prompt attention to the matter of remedying the crusty microwave plate situation, made me a little less uncomfortable about staying here. For the duration of my time at this Choice hotel. I found the staff's service provision & professionalism to be a mixed bag - with some employees forgetting that it is simply their job to cater for a guest's basic needs & behaving as if they are entitled to refer to/address the guest according to whatever whim took their fancy. Contrastingly, the manager was always kind & helpful with respect to requests for assistance. Perhaps the staff could be trained to comport themselves in a similar fashion. The location is in a generally safe area, but it takes too long to get to restaurants & shops. I told Jeremiah they'd never see me again & it's a promise I'm happy to keep!

It isnt a 5 star fancy hotel, but I was comfortable and safe. The hotel is a bit old, but they make it work. They kept that maintenance man busy! The cleaning crew on time and very friendly. Mostly spanish speaking but it was easy. Could have been more breakfast options. But the waffles and egg and sausage was freshly made every morning with other ready to go options like bagel and yougurt. The beds are soft and all amenities listed included. The pool was ok and I really enjoyed myself. Convenient located. Over all, a good stay.

It was a nice, clean property and great bed and the breakfast was good. Coffee could've been better though. Liked that there was refreshing lemon water available in lobby at check in. Didn't use pool, but deck area could look more inviting with just a few tweaks. Overall, would stay there again if visiting area.

The property in whole is great. Jeremiah at the front desk displayed professional and friendly service and he gets 5stars. The dining area was kept clean all throughout breakfast time. The only issue was my family visited the pool and it was disgusting. It looked like ducks had been swimming in it and it was not clean at all as duck hair was in the pool and we had to drive over 25 mins to a friends house to use his pool. It just wasn’t acceptable for humans to enter the pool at this property and I hope they take care of this issue asap. I would definitely recommend this hotel despite the negative comment about the pool

House keepers needs to take more pride in there jobs or better yet if you guys pay better they might be better

Over all the places ive stayed in the Ft Laurderdale area in the last two weeks. This one by far has been the most pleasant experience. I'll stay here whenever i need to come-back to the area for work again. Cleanliness hospitable. Felt like a blessing after some of the others i stayed .

The stay was very nice. The front desk attendant was very nice and the rest of the staff , too. My only concern is the non-smoking , I stayed on the 3rd floor and it seems as if that was not stated. The hallway smelt like weed pretty much the whole time I was there. I'm not sure how a hotel can regulate that - but for those of us that don't smoke ( more less weed) , it should be some way to keep that at bay, Other then that - I would recommenced this hotel to anyone. Breakfast was good, too

Staying at this hotel was fine. Its a no nonsense hotel. Its dated, compared to other newer hotels. A fresh coat of paint would do it very well so to speak. However, the rooms are fine, it's equipped with both a microwave and mini fridge. Staff are nice and helpful, and the full hot breakfast provided makes for a good start to your day whatever it is. (Eggs, waffles, sausage, cereal etc.) Well air conditioned and lots of parking available. Your not far from lots of shopping and food choices by car. If your looking for the Ritz or the Hilton, then your experience and expectations will leave you disappointed and this hotel is not for you. If your on a budget or you're not the complaining type and your happy that you've been blessed with the life given and living ----then this hotel will do just fine for your choice, and getting either yourself or family going to the start of your day. Have great day!

We were upgraded and I loved our room. We enjoyed the pool and it was convenient to where we were going on our vacation.

The room was disgusting, the rug, the bathroom and the overall entire room was absolutely filthy and smelled so bad.

There is SO MUCH humidity in the room I stayed in. I went to the beach one day and hung up my towel to dry and two days later it still was damp, and that was with the air conditioner running all day and night. The room had a musty smell from day one and the lobby smelled like marijuana when I first walked in. My door card key would never work right and the breakfast consisted of slimy imitation eggs and soggy sausage patties, with muffins that had a weird aftertaste. The coffee tasted like cockroach piss and was as weak as an anorexic twelve year old. I will be seeking lodging elsewhere in the future.

We were supposed to stay in this property for the weekend. We arrived late Friday night due to a flight delay and headed to the hotel. The first room they gave us reeked of cigarettes. I went to the front desk and was given another room. It was just as bad as the first one, but we were tired from the trip and decided to stay. My son has asthma, and it flared up due to the smell. My eyes were red when I woke up. The attendant told us they had no more rooms the next morning, but we decided to find different accommodations. I’ve stayed at Comfort Inn before, and this was the worst experience for my family and me. Those two rooms need to have carpet and everything in thrown out and replace to get rid of the smell.

Our stay at the Comfort inn was pleasant. The staff was very nice and welcoming. However the property is very out dated and need lot of renovation. Our room had this terrible smell as soon as you walk in plus. There was a hole in the wall near the AC unit. We only stayed 2 nights.

After a long day on the road, we were looking for a nice meal and our hostess recommended a superb place a very short drive away. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good.

We arrived later (10 p.m.) after spending an awful, ridiculous 12-hour day at the Minneapolis airport trying to get to Fort Lauderdale for our cruise tomorrow. Jeremiah was great! We were tired, grumpy and he made us laugh and made us feel important. Thank you!

Our room smelled of old smokers. My wife had an Athena attack at 3a.m. Because of the room door. We had to go outside the building into fresh air until she felt better & then the staff found us a less odorous room.

Everything was great. It was a smooth and seamless checkin/checkout. The breakfast was good, regular waffles, eggs, sausages, bagels, coffee, tea, juice. It was very quiet and peaceful. Some furniture can be replaced due to “overtime wear and tear” as well as more frequent housekeeping as they only visit every 3 days to make up the bed. Other than that, everything was amazing.

The entire hotel should be closed until it is fully renovated. Posting a sign to apologize for the repairs is not ok. Smelly hallways, broken doors, torn carpets, and general dinginess all need to be fixed before charging people to stay here. The only positive were the linens were clean and the pillows nice.

Not a nad place for a weekend getaway

Front desk lady was super rude and not nice at all. She acted inconvenienced when I walked in to check in. Very rude. Jacuzzi was broken and that was the whole reason I booked this hotel.

The property needs a renovation. The back door bangs and keeps every one up or wakes them up. the customer service ladies during the day are very kind. The black lady in the evenings and through the night is either sleeping or she will not even get up to ask what you need, she acts like you are interrupting her. The phone was continually ringing and we mentioned it to her since we was not doing anything and she said I am not answering it we don't have any rooms. Terrible

but The first floors are infested with fleas so if your allergic like me it's not fun i have hives,itchiness and I feel very uncomfortable all over as soon as I go home i have to go see my doctor again and get prescribed medications from my doctor.

also jacuzzi hot spa has been broken for 2 months now and I'm allergic to fleas and I was here last month and this month and had to see a doctor for hives itchiness on legs arms and other parts of my body cause of flea bites they need to spray the place to kill the fleas and ticks. it's not good for your health.
