I always stay here when I'm in the area. The family that owns this place are super sweet and always accommodating.
- 3.5/5
The location is what I expected. However I've had this eerie feeling that I was being watched the entire time I was here. Also I could hear people talking behind the walls where the pipechases are. Didn't need to say anything to management because I'm fully aware and knowledgeable of how motels are designed. All the pipe chases run behind the walls where the bathroom is and the lavender and the mirror. At any time you have noise coming from behind that wall that is a clear indication that there is someone back there. Creepy! I'll not be staying here again... See when I rode above... I didn't like it

Staff and the amenities were disrespectful not clean my room was dirty I would like my refund.
- 1/5
They were terrible lacking And cleaning the room service disrespectful not a good stay there
- 3/5
The room was OK, but a little dingy. Some new bed covers could brighten it up. A small coffee maker would be nice too. And definitely need more than 2 towels in the rooms.
- 3/5
Clean room
- 3/5
No issue with my service animal but the man working the desk was not friendly and welcoming, the room smelled like mold and toilet didnt want to flush
- 2/5
They were doing alot of construction while i was there. No housekeeping or even tell u where the dumpster is located. The construction was in the room next to me fumes made me sick
- 2/5
Check in was easy. Room was not very clean. Remote was sticky. Bugs were in the sink. Bathroom was not very clean lots of built up dirt in corners. Room had an odor. Towels had stains. Staff was very rude. The morning of checkout they beat on the door 30 minutes before checkout saying checkout time is 11:00.
- 1/5
well needless to say I’ll be filing a complaint everywhere I can including local and state government regarding this establishment.
- 2/5
If you have to stay in Chickamauga I would stay in a differerent motel. You are probably better served at Chattanooga.

Wonderful stay! Will be back!

The hotel is very old and hasnt been updated. The furniture was dirty. Vent in the bathroom was falling down. Same with self, falling off the wall. Mattress was old and lumpy. I wont stay there again.
- 3/5
I paid for 2 nights plus 30 per night for my dog and only stayed one night. No refund offered
- 2/5
Roaches in room, men loitering on property. Did not feel safe. Roaches in my room in broad daylight.. made me afraid to sleep on bed. Complained to nice lady at front desk and was refunded.
- 4/5
There is no longer free breakfast but otherwise a nice stay
- 4/5
Basic Econolodge, nothing fancy- great for the price
- 4/5
Typical Econo Lodge: inexpensive & fine for an overnight or 2
- 3/5
The main problem is their plumbing handle in the vanity is super loose and the water in the tub leaks and the shower handles wobbles like crazy.
- 3/5
I didn't like we were unable to get free breakfast or coffee by using Travelocity. So we went out to buy coffee, microwavable cups & breakfast item.
- 3/5
Old bedding and could really use some updating .
- 1/5
Toilet leak on floor. Stains on rags and towels. Pipe was noisy due to expansion and contraction.
- 4/5
Decently size room and clean for the money very affordable. Shower was not the best but overall it was quiet and convenient food options. Good place if your on a budget
- 3/5
I stay here often when I visit family in the area. Usually the staff are nuce, but this time he was rude.
- 5/5
Love it
- 4/5
Comfortable room and great shower. Only one washcloth and no kleenex. When selecting the room it showed a to go breakfast but they had no breakfast.
- 2/5
Owner wasn't very friendly
- 3/5
It was alright. About what you expect for the price.
- 5/5
It was very clean safe and quiet
- 1/5
Pillows sucked bed was lumpy
- 1/5
I don’t get the room I reserved when going to the office all they said was contact Expedia. Finally gave me another room, but still wasn’t the one that I had Reserved for the night. Both dirty will not recommend.
- 2/5
There was trash sitting outside several rooms. There was probable 30 pair of shoes outside of a couple rooms. There was hair all over the shower. And some on the bed sheets.
- 1/5
Literally the worst hotel experience. Not only will they give out your room number to anyone that asks for you (and i dont mean calling the room. I mean in person) they will harass you to no end. We got tresspassed because we asked them to stop knocking on our door.
- 1/5
I booked a non-smoking room and at first was told there were no non-smoking rooms available when checking in. We checked in to the first room, a smoking room. The bedsheets had cigarette burns in them. I killed a bug within 30 seconds of entering the room. Walls, fixtures and appliances are damaged. Every surface is covered in some version of filth. At this point, I contacted Hotels.com for a refund or other help, but they’re were of no help whatsoever. The property manager told Hotels.com that our pet had torn a mattress and they would be charging me $500. Keep in mind, we had been in the room for about 20 mins and no one else had been in the room besides me and my partner. I contacted the front desk and they claimed the torn mattress report was being confused with another guest. We then switched to a new room, a non-smoking room that was suddenly available. The second room was also filthy. Additional bugs were found in the bathroom and mini-fridge of the second room. Again, all walls, appliances and other surfaces were scuffed and broken. This location is nowhere close to a condition that is acceptable to charge people money to stay at. I am beyond disappointed in the EconoLodge and Hotels.com brand name.

I made mistake of walking in the room barefoot, within couple min my feet were black. The toilet & sink did not drain. The guy in front taking reservations was rude & actually yelled at me!
- 4/5
The hotel clerk was helpful. He gave us a first floor room located in the back. The noice level was less. The hotel is on the main ride. The room was clean but the hotel is dated The location was excellent for us because we planned to visit the battlefield which was down the street. It did not serve breakfast but there were plenty of morning fast food restaurants close to hotel
- 5/5
Well i really enjoyed my stay the people who worked there treated like family.
- 4/5
Older hotel but comfortable and quiet.
- 3/5
Close to my point of interest. Manager made it possible to stay in a ground floor room, I am disabled.
- 2/5
No coffee in room, and none available until 8:00 am. Not very clean. Needed a coat of paint.

- 4/5
Staff (owner, I think) was good and room was clean. Lack of a King room on 1st floor was a downer, without an elevator -- at 77, with 3 replacef joints, hauling luggage up a long stairway was difficult.
- 1/5
If we could have found another place to stay we would have. Slept on-top of the bedding with my own blanket. Couldn’t even use the shower it was so nasty.
- 5/5
Very helpful and accommodating. Close to where I needed to be.
- 5/5
Nice place for a quick stay
- 5/5
There was hair in the sink but it did appear clean.
- 5/5
It was good for me and my new bo
- 4/5
Good for the price and good enough to get a god night sleep
- 3/5
The staff were helpful and personable. They allow servixe animals and pets. They try to accommodate guests needs, which is great. However, the cleanliness of the place leaves a bit to be desired. I saw a cockroach run under the bed in the middle of the night! No staff was anywhere to be seen when I checked out next morning so I didn't get a chance to address it directly. Next time ill give this location a pass.
- 3/5
Cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Entire property seems to be in a poor state of repair. Sink in my room had been patched but not sanded out beds need replacing.
- 3/5
Bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Front door was secure but seemed to have been pryed or kicked on. A/C was cool but not as good as it should have been. Overall value for price was what could be expected
- 3/5
We got there and the rooms were clean. But they did offer the free breakfast as on their listing. The pool wasn’t open either.
- 1/5
This was BY FAR the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. All surfaces visibly dusty. Horrible large amount of long hair plastered to wall of shower. Following morning we discovered KFC food in the microwave oven. I am not even sure the sheets were clean. It was obvious the room and bathroom were not cleaned. And the room was not cheap. I just cringe to think we spent the night in such a place. I just hope we don’t get sick!
- 2/5
Staff were friendly, rooms clean. Problem was location. It's like a giant megaphone... you will hear traffic noise all night, and a car door close from the lot about every 2-3 minutes. We had loud neighbors who were up making noise at 4am. Quite a few transient workers apparently stay here, so that lot seem to be less considerate of others. We got very little sleep.
- 5/5
Hotel was great. Was not looking for anything fancy, but this property really took care of everything that I needed
- 3/5
Microwave did not work. Toilet would not flush and no one in office to tell.
- 4/5
Great location - like all hotels in the area pool was closed and no breakfast - covid is over but the powers that be can't seem to let it go so no amenities
- 2/5
Not the cleanest hotel ever, I wouldn’t stay there again.
- 1/5
Maid tried to walk into room at 950am check out is 11am didn’t knock at all if I had my daughter with I would be very mad told front desk I they hung phone up on me while I was talking will never go back
- 1/5
This is the worst motel stay we have ever experienced. Door knobs falling off, security bar in shower stall falling off, ac and refrigerator so loud we could not sleep. The towel racks in bathroom installed in cockeyed fashion. It was real bad and would never even board my dog in this place. Just one word for this place....YUCK!!!!!!
- 5/5
This is an older building that has been refreshed, it looks nice, it was affordable and clean.
- 3/5
The stay was comfortable and the room clean overall. However, there was mold in the bathroom and the ceiling had an area that had damage and mold. Great shower and very nice person checking us in. Provided us with a bag of various snacks to make up for lack of availability of breakfast due to COVID-19 limitations
- 3/5
Some what decent
- 1/5
Our door didn’t have a safety lock - it had been torn off.
- 2/5
But cleaning for this hotel is not good
- 2/5
The hotel was not very clean. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Value was not wprth what was paid.
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay. Staff was friendly. I would stay there again.
- 3/5
So so hotel. Wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either. Just older really. Bathroom was run down.
- 1/5
Planned trip to Lookout Mt but living 12 hrs away, i was unsure if i would be up to making the entire drive so I did not book a hotel room until last minute. Stayed one night and it was absolutely gross! Unfamiliar with the area but I feel as though it would be considered the ghetto or where I'm from, a "hooker hut." Most disguising hotel I've ever stayed in. Alot of kids/young adults hanging around outside throwing bottles and smoking recreational drugs out of pipes (LITERALLY smoking craq in the parking lot!) The trip was just me and my young daughter, and i have never been a paranoid person but that night, the way I was acting I probably appeared as if I partaked in the peace pipe behaviors outside as well. Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE!!! only positive is that I did not leave with bed bugs

Guy working the desk told us we needed to give him a cash deposit for a non smoking room. I asked why since I had never heard of that but he didn’t speak enough English to give me a reason. He just kept saying we needed cash
- 5/5
They advertise an indoor pool and there wasn't a functioning one.
- 5/5
I absolutely love it here

Everything was great other than giant roaches in the room

I was a little disappointed in that the only thing served at the breakfast room was coffee. I was expecting a continental breakfast, a bagel, cereal, something.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the heat in the room was our only complaint. It was with over 80 or below 60 in the room there was no comfy medium.
- 1/5
I found dirty syringes in the bathroom of the unit I was staying in absolutely disgusting place to stay. I let management know about the issue and they didn’t even care. Do not stay here!
- 1/5
Even though sign out front says breakfast there was none or coffee. I ran to gas station down road at 10:35 when I returned at 10:48 they had knocked on door and told my children it was time to get out and had them sitting outside! Outraged.
- 5/5
It is always nice and quiet here. The staff are very accomodating and nice
- 5/5
I loved it!!! The staff is friendly and very helpful...the rooms were very clean and put together...everything was where I could find it....i enjoyed my stay very much..so much i decided to stay again. I recommend this hotel to anyone in the area..
- 5/5
Large comfortable room. Bed was comfy. It was clean.
- 1/5
I have never stayed some where that’s was a mess I told them the sheets wasn’t clean they ignored me it says no smoking but I find cigarettes butts. They had a ice container under the toilet pipe to stop a leak. So every time I flush the toilet it fills up with water I didn’t touch it. I ask can they change me to another room they said the was full but all them rooms was still empty. From the time I checked in until the time I checked out. They need to be giving me a refund or and another thing house keeping open my door didn’t knock I asked her why u didn’t know before you let me open the door instead of you sponging it she asked me are you checking out I said yes at 11am.
- 1/5
Very old & dated. Beds were very uncomfortable. Needs some serious updates.
- 4/5
Clean and friendly, close to many food and medical locations. Overall I would recommend
- 5/5
It was great. Had everything we needed. Everything worked and had a great breakfast
- 5/5
Very comfortable room. Mattress could be better but was excellent overall
- 1/5
Non smoking room? The room smells horrible! My clothes and everything I have smell like cigarette! Room was not clean... horrible experience. But, the one good thing is the staff allowed to check out an hour late.
- 5/5
Nice quiet runner friendly clean good location nice breakfast
- 2/5
Pot holes in lot, stains on sheets, broken door to bathroom, broken handles on dresser, no phone, only one key worked.
- 2/5
Upon arrival at 10:30pm, I was informed that the only room available to us was a smoking room. The staff told me that if we were non smokers (correct), we would not want the room. No other accommodation, besides a refund, was offered. We were advised that nothing else was available within a 1 hr drive, so we opted to return to Atlanta for the night and drive back this morning for the remainder of the event.
- 3/5
Its located in a convenient location and has free breakfast but not much is offered. It also charges a pet fee.
- 3/5
Overall, it was average. Room definitely smelled of smoke and had to change rooms but the difference was minimal. Breakfast selection is limited. The bed sheets weren’t great, possibly dirty, we packed our own linens and we’re grateful we did because the towels were like sand paper.
- 1/5
I’m got sick there was bugs in the room nasty stinks holes burned in the cover awful !!!
- 1/5
The room was dirty, bedsheet was dirty, there were insects on furniture
- 4/5
I had a good stay at the hotel, its very peaceful there, my passkey didnt work the second time i came back to the hotel and it was very late, the desk attendant was very cordial and re-programmed my card
- 2/5
Breakfast was quite poor — only bread and juice and coffee; no fruit or yogurt
- 5/5
It was very cozy especially for the price I booked it for
- 1/5
Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Pictures had to be when they first opened. There was mold on the shower curtain. No coffee maker as depicted. Grandkids had to wear socks because their feet got dirty from walking on the carpet. Towels were rough like rags.
- 5/5
Very pleasant...good service...will stay again
- 5/5
When I booked my room I was sure if the location was going to be g ood for me , but it was a perfect location for my visit to the Chattanooga area.
- 5/5
