Studio 6 Fort Worth, TX -Stockyards East

This was the most disgusting place I have ever seen. It was clear the roaches owned the place. I sat down on the bed and a huge roach appeared and crawled across my leg. I left immediately and put all my things in the car. I went to the front desk to complain and they didn’t even seem surprised. The guy at the counter said “oh ok we can switch you to a new room” the other guy with him just asked if we killed the roach. I will never go back here.

Be ready to be out by 11:00 on the dot! We had housekeeping knock on our door at 10:00 AM and again at 10:30. Then at 11:00 exactly as we were on our way out they called the room. I’ve never been pushed like that before. Everything else was just ok.

Absolutely nothing, the staff didn’t give a shit about us. We called about an abusive neighbours & we pretty much told to sit & wait until they moved on themselves. They did not care, we were too scared to leave room. Everything. Shower broke. Staff didn’t care about out needs and SAFETY when we asked for it.

I was only in town for less than 48 hours so It got the job done, it's just towels looked dirty the bathroom had brown and yellow mystery stains on the wall, the floor was sinking...

Bathroom was nice-great water pressure. Toilet did run. Bed was hard and only 2 pillows that were flat. Large fridge and microwave. Small one cup coffee pot. Room was quite large. Table with 2 chairs. Looks like a bad area, but it was quite nice area.

(two day stay expanding on previous review) There was a homeless or drunk man sleeping on the second floor in the breeze way which was unsettling to see first thing in the morning. Pulling in is a bit difficult due to the road and when traffic picked up it was also hard to get in and out. But overall, the staff was very considerate and supportive, just plan for traffic!

The front desk gentlemen was great! I had two separate rooms since I originally forgot to book my second day. I let him know and called my room to wake me up at 10:30am to transition me to my next room letting me avoid the waiting time between check out and check in. Which was super helpful and friendly, I will definitely be back because that was so kind and considerate.

The hotel itself was in very good condition for a Motel 6. The shower worked great and the place was clean. No soap or shampoo for the shower and the lobby is empty. I also think the gentleman running the front desk can see the future.

Motel is older and obviously won’t be the best especially for the price But on my stay after a shower a horrid smell of sewage filled the room and I just went ahead and checked out early Front desk was notified but the motel 6 at the other stockyard location seemed to be in better shape and the person at the desk was there and attentive. I would recommend them before this studio 6

look I know it's a studio 6 and I knew what I was getting into, I wouldn't be mad if this was the cheapest option available but it was twice as much as another budget hotel, and the location is very misleading and not at all walkable. everything was skimpy, they had no shampoo bottles, the shower was made for someone 5' tall, as were the towels, I thought they were hand towels until I realized these were the "full size" bath towels. the owners/mgmt checked the skimp box on literally every possible option in putting the rooms together and it shows.

Its an older building. But its been cleaned up with a fresh coat of paint. Room was clean. Plenty of parking. Heard a little bit of gun play about 1:15:am, but not that unusual for the neighborhood.

Upon arriving, we quickly noticed some very interesting people around the hotel. We went to our room, which was fairly clean for an older hotel. The beds were hard, but we thought we could make it 1 night and find somewhere else to stay the next day. Well, within 15 minutes of being there we witnessed a drug deal and are pretty confident there is some prostitution going on, so I requested to check out immediately and found a new hotel.

it wasnt the greatest but it was available when a big name concert and a cowboy convention was in town. theyve definetinely renovated quite a bit but its a motel 6 with a coat of paint and new floors. Good for sleeping after a night out

The room was pretty clean, although the top blanket looked like it hadn't been washed recently. There were only a sheet, think blanket, and thin decorative blanket on the bed which did not keep us warm at all. There were no extra blankets provided. The bathroom was seemingly falling apart. There were missing tiles, warped walls, and the side of the door was peeling off. The towels were thin, small, and I found a short black hair in a clean, folded towel. There were seemingly some safety issues too. We locked out key in our room and went to the front desk. He gave us the master-key without asking for any id or proof we were actually staying there. At night the front desk is a window behind bulletproof glass and during the day it's a desk behind bulletproof glass in a little room. The vending machines are accessible but they're locked in metal cages. We also got some very expired chips from it. Everything was smooth overall, but it's nowhere near worth the price they're charging.

Want you to put 50 $ deposit for pet cleaning .. have to ask for iron , question you if you need towels. 25 dollars to check in a little early .. no coffee maker or microwave in room.. people stay there for convenience and especially to bring your dogs if you’re on the road. They appear to me to just squeeze every dime out of you.

We were very pleased with our stay at Studio 6. It is conveniently located, not far from the stockyards and clean and comfortable. We were also able to check in early.

Well located and clean, reasonably quiet at night. And the fridge is indeed large.

Looking online everything look really great. The name was misleading because everything in the room was Motel 6. I thought we were going to a studio six but I guess they just changed the name. Everything else is Motel 6 not what I was expecting but not bad.

It was easy to see they have been working to improve the facilities, kudos for that. Room was functional and clean, bed was comfortable but the frame may not hold up to a lot of nocturnal activity. Depending on which direction you arrive from you may be concerned about the neighborhood, but the owners have taken security measures. Excellent value.

The beds were horrible. I was black and blue the next morning. It wasn’t even comfortable enough to sit up in bed to read or anything. The two chairs in the room were hard plastic butt buckets. No place to set in comfort or be comfortable. I felt trapped! The air conditioner was so loud it made conversation difficult. I made other arrangements for our second night. Also the location. Had to take an uber to do anything. Nothing to do within walking distance.

The room was ckean and that was about it, hearing running water from elsewhere in the building kept me up along with the constant smell of marijuana from other rooms but the bed was clean no bugs so thats a positive

Bed is very firm,but overall it was alright. We prefer a firm mattress, but this was a little firmer than we are used to

It was pretty clean and the rooms were a good size! But during the night the people above us would not stop stomping and yelling, when we called the front office they were slightly rude saying that we should cover our ears or confront them ourselves which was not sonething you say to a PAYING guest.

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at this motel and the first time we’ve stayed more than one night. It is a fantastic location for stockyards - an uber cost $7. It is so clean and great you can park right by your room. Everything you need for a short stay for very low cost. Clean towels each day, bins emptied and bed made. Huge bed, large fridge freezer, microwave, coffee maker. There is nothing around the area but we felt safe. I cannot fault this place considering the low cost. If you want better - pay for it! Thank you studio 6, once again you’ve given us exactly what we needed without the huge cost.

The great thing was the refrigerator and sink. You should bring coffee filters if you want to brew your own coffee

The room was spacious but outdated. Did have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. The air con worked fine but noisy. The outside area looked rundown and dirty. The bed was lumpy and sunked in.

The place is good for the price. It is not walkable to the stockyard but a very short drive.

Great location to down town. Clean and spacious has everything you need. Beds smaller than most hotels. Bathroom toilet made a running noise off and on throughout the night. Ran out of toilet paper and had to go to office to get more. Overall a good stay. Would stay there again just change rooms if toilet made noise.

We traveled for a Rodeo Event in the Stockyards, and everything was above standard. The lady who checked us in was friendly & courteous.The room was clean, had a microwave, fridge/freezer unit, toaster, cofee maker & very spacious. The location is super close to the Stockyards & keeps your Uber expense extremely low. The only issue we had was there was a damp/moldy smell in the air conditioner when it ran & was not pleasant which stirred up our allergies. We would stay here again because of the convenience of the location.

This is my 3rd time staying. First 2 times was great. This time they gave us a room where there is a bright,bright light that shines all night long right outside the big window. It's very annoying room never felt like night time. Hated it.

Well for starters the room was hot and sticky. The floor was dirty like it was not swept and there was this what looked like it was supposed to be an emergency alarm box in the wall facing the bed and to us it looked like it had a camera. Could not confirm whether it did or not but we covered it. Definitely will not stay there again.

I stay here often and the the man and lady that run it are always kind. It does get a little noisy with being so close to The Stockyards. My complaint about this place is how much the price varies from day to day. I know all hotel may go up a few dollars depending on events and holidays and such. But this one will be $60 more one weekend than not was the last for no reason.

Room was clean though, and the bed was comfy and the shower good. Lots of noise from the neighbouring and above rooms from about 8am - thankfully I was tired and could sleep through most of it.

No rooms were available. We never stayed here. Extremely upset. No refund was provided. We went to check in and they didn’t have our reservations. A refund would be appreciated. Had to stay at another location. We can provide receipts if needed. Zero stars.

The room was not clean. There were bunches of hair on the clean towels. The bedframe is metal and makes a loud noise any time you roll over. The bathroom had mildew all over the walls. There was no shampoo, and the office charged us to bring us some. I genuinely would rather sleep in my car than have to sleep in one of these rooms again.

Not so easy to get to, lots of road noise, clear signs to lock the door whenever in the room. It was OK for staying for one night in transit, but I would not want more than that.

The property was clean and room was well appointed with fridge, microwave, toaster and coffee machine. It states 13 minute walk to the Stockyards but maps showed 28.

What you pay, definitely not a bad stay. Could use some maintenance on the rooms for some small stuff, bath faucet was falling off, toilet paper holder fell off the wall, a few lights that didn't work. With that said it's pretty cheap so it's what you expect.

This hotel advertised as a 13 minute walk to the stockyards but when we arrived and googled, it said 29 minute walk. Also I got so excited when I saw a coffee pot in the room however there was no coffee. Also they only had a bar of soap for you; there was no shampoo or conditioner.

Great hotel and close to Fort Worth and downtown. No need to use a car as an Uber to the Stock yards return is cheaper than the parking.

This place was horrible! 1st of all soon as you get out of your car all you can smell is weed. I booked a pet friendly room paid in advance & they didn't have one & tried to get me to pay 25 only in cash for the fee. Finally get in a room it's so dirty! Was suppose to be smoke free smelled like smoke, weed, just nasty. Super loud outside all night.

It was cheap. Heater was off in the room and the room would not meet set tempature, so i froze all night. It was not the greated quality, but for cheap, it was nit to shabby. Beds where hard, but thatat i caould deal with. The guy at check in was super friendly and talkitive.

It was very dirty and not finished in the painting on walls, i had to clean the night stands because they had a sticky ring on them, something like coke on them.

It was recently renovated and clean. Only thing was coffee maker didn't work. Affordable and clean. Would stay there again.

We had a family member in town for a very few days it was his first time at Billy Bob's we do NOT drink and Drive, therefore needed a place to lay our heads for a few hours in order to return home and did not want to spend a lot of money but needed clean and this was the right place.

The biggest downside is location we picked this in proximity to the stock yard thinking we would be able to easily walk. Can you? Yes it’s not walking friendly as half the walk doesn’t have sidewalks unless you walk down a hill to the trinity trails- this trail is really the only way to walk anywhere. We even walked this down to downtown after trying to walk back from downtown on main streets with virtually no sidewalks and paths ending in the middle of bridges. So don’t have high expectations if you’re trying to walk anywhere. This property was good for the price point though.
