Clean and safe! I was traveling alone staying just one night. I felt very safe here. The hotel was easy to find and in a great location right off the highway. The staff was super friendly too!

The staff at Spark were very courteous. This is not a top end hotel, but it is descent place to rest your head overnight. No bugs, not gross.

Very modern, great checkin, good location. We ate at the Middle Eastern spot across the street and the Nepalese place up the road and both were awesome. We were working at Ft. AP Hill and this worked great for us.

This is the second Spark Hotel I have stayed at. In both cases the orange juice was watery . I couldn’t drink it. The coffee was very good.

Parking and check in/out were easy. The hotel was clean and nice. Breakfast was good. Our room was quite good. The only negative is that there was a metallic odor in the bathroom. The desk person at check-out said that it's an issue with their pipes, and they're addressing it. There was no odor in the bedroom area. I would give this property an Excellent rating instead of Good, if not for this issue.

Most disgusting place!! Dirty! Dirty! Dirty!! For $200 a night, no face cloths, dirty bedding, NO hair conditioner! To have a name brand backing this hotel is a disgrace!!!

This appears to be a newer property with other hotels nearby. The hotel is located in a sort of shopping plaza with many dining options nearby. It was very quiet in spite of it's close location right by US 1/Patriot Highway.

As a whole my stay was enjoyable. Rooms were cleaned, lobby clean, breakfast area clean, outside of hotel was void of trash. My only complaint would be that the hotel needs one or two more breakfast items.

The breakfast was good. The room was a good size that we were not on top of each other. The staff was helpful and friendly. I did not like that one of the floors had a smell to it. I also did not like that they did not have a pool.

I booked our room on line. There was no place to include our dog & obtain a price. When I arrived I was told it would be $75. That is 66% more than our reservation. A normal price of $25 would be expected. Transparency is crucial to good customer service. I won’t be staying at a Hilton again.

The staff was rude, condescending, and very prejudiced towards others, not their race. The rooms smelled horrible. The breakfast "bagel bar" was stale, condiments were old, boiled eggs were green, and the juice was watered down. The linens had a strange smell to them. The chair in the room is made of metal, which makes it very uncomfortable to sit in and work. The fridge had someone's old dog food in it. The TV only got a few channels. There is no coffee pot in the room. Giving them a one-star is very generous.

Room was nice. Staff was nice. However, they do not provide conditioner.. as a woman with hair halfway down my hair it was not very pleasant trying to do my hair that day. I realize it’s a minor complaint but I’ve never once stayed at a hotel that doesn’t leave conditioner for their guests and as a woman it’s kind of a necessity.

That was not the real problem. Once we got into the room it smelled like cat urine...if it wasn't so late I would have tried to change rooms. It seemed to be in the barhroom so we just kept the door shut. We did report it to the front desk in the morning.

The GPS easily located Southpoint Parkway but the final turn on Southpoint Center Parkway was difficult. No light on the street sign and your hotel is hidden by one in front. I had to go to the dead-end and work backwards. It was new and very clean but I was surprised as it wasn’t what I expected of a Hilton.

Also while I was aware that there would be a pet fee, I wasn’t informed until check in that it was 75$ non refundable PLUS a 100$ deposit. It’s just a lot to shell out if you aren’t prepared to do so. It’s possible I overlooked the amount on this website but I don’t remember seeing it

I never got there. Expedia needs to refund me. I did not stay at the hotel so I can’t rate it. I tried to cancel when I realized it was in the wrong city and it would not allow me to do so. I need a refund. I did call the hotel and they said they couldn’t because of Expedia.

Its just an incredible value. It was affordable, clean, comfy, and that's what I'm looking for. The only thing I can even think to ding it on is the breakfast being small, but its a free breakfast, and there's a billion food places within max 15min in Fredericsbug from the hotel. Zero complaints

We love staying here everyone is always so kind and accommodating. The room is very clean and comfortable! Breakfast is pretty basic would love to see maybe English muffins and jelly available but honestly nothing negative to say. This was our 3rd stay at this location and we will be back!

The chair at the desk was not very comfortable for working at the desk and was a hard plastic chair. The only one in the room also. Otherwise, everything else was very comfortable. I would like to have seem a better breakfast as well. All the hotel had were bagels.

We were pleasantly surprised with how much we liked the spark hotel. We found it very clean. The rooms had plenty of space. We would very much recommend this hotel again.

Overall ok but clearly an old property given a new paint job and not much else. The night manager who checked me in was excellent!

The staffs are friendly and helping. The room is clean. Some small things are well designed, such as extra towel hanger in the bathroom, power plugs at every table/night stand, etc. It's a simple but convenient hotel. We feel the bed is a little on the soft side. Overall, we think this hotel has a good price/value ratio for a mid-range hotel.

The HVAC - PTAC unit temperature control was poor. Room was himid and cold or humid and too warm with no happy medium. PTAC unot was also excessively noisy and too close to the bed.

To give a honest review the only negative feedback I can give is that the air freshener (or cleaning fragrance) in the lobby was really strong. Anyone with breathing issues may have a problem. The room was clean and the staff was very helpful.

It was convenient from the highway to get on and off easily. Quiet stay. Beds were very comfortable with 4 puffy pillows on each bed. Seemed pretty clean, but had a strange odor in the bathroom. Lots of restaurants to choose from near by.

Room smelled like wet carpet. Property was updated but in a cheap looking way. I was disappointed with this Hilton property and I've stayed at many in my life. Breakfast choices are also very limited buy atleast the hard boiled eggs tasted fresh- the yogurt was gross. Probably should've stayed at the Comfort Inn next door as it was cheaper but went with the Hilton, at the extra cost, because of the Hilton reputation. Did not live up to it. One positive was 24 hour coffee/hot tea available.

Horrible stay from the start. Slow check in process and when we first walked in the room we can smell a foul odor that smelled like cat urine. No fitness room or swimming pool! The room did not have any bureaus for clothing storage and beds were very uncomfortable. Shower pressure was extremely weak and not enjoyable. Breakfast was awful as there was no hot food offered. Orange juice machine was basically orange water. Avoid this place as cheap Indians have taken over this chain.

Wonderful check in and a wonderful stay! Check in was easy, and this was the first time I've ever been asked about floor preference! Dinning options are walkable, and right off the highway. Will definitely check availability here next time we are in the area.

I stop here often when traveling. Staff is accomodating, facility is always clean. Room and bathroom is always clean, bed is comfortable, always have a good night sleep.

The breakfast bar could have been better. No pancakes or waffles. If you wanted an egg, it was hardboiled or nothing unless you wanted to pay extra for an egg, meat and cheese sandwich. These things are always offered at other places that have breakfast.

We were heading South, stopped for one night. The hotel was perfect, right off route 95. Many choices close by for a quick bite. Check in was easy, staff was friendly and professional. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

I did not like the breakfast. I also did not like that there was one uncomfortable chair in the room and a little stool to sit on. I am handicap and it was not conducive to my needs as far as sitting. My parents had no chair (in a handicapped room) only a stool. What were they to sit on. We asked for a chair for both rooms and received a very hard metal chair. Unacceptable! Would not ever return or reccommend

We booked this quickly on the road. The hotel was clean and easy access from I-95 where we were traveling. Area has lots of restaurants close by although at the time we were dealing with road construction.

Property does not have a bowling alley as advertised. No gym or pool. The breakfast area was dirty nobody cleaned in between.

We wanted to visit some of the nearby national parks and this was an excellent choice. Had never heard of, much less staed in, a Spark hotel. Have been a loyal Hilton Honors member for years. This did not disappoint, allthough it was pretty much a no frills hotel.

The over hail was not conducive to having animals allowed, carpet should not be on the floors.. although it didn't smell like dog, it doesn't make sense, especially on the main floor.

Great stop on our roadtrip! When I booked, I requested a crib and the pack & play was delivered to our room upon check in. It was very clean and safe for my baby to sleep. The room itself was nice and more spacious than most hotels, even with the pack&play opened.

Our stay was in mid winter and off season. The prices were so reasonable and the stay was much nicer than anticipated considering what we paid. A quick overnight for us as we were traveling north but we want to return to see the area and will definitely stay there again.

The hotel was pleasant, but the bed was uncomfortable, and sleeping there was not ideal. The toliet wasn't clean. I likely brought my disfectfecing wipes with me. It had all kind of stuff on it.

Hotel is brand new so very clean and the rooms were nice. My only peeve is the very weak coffee (available 24/7). Can't you have a bold option for those of us that appreciate a good cup of coffee? Bagel bar is great but no milk for those of us that don't like 1/2 & 1/2 and again the coffee with no taste. We had to go off to Starbucks to get some real coffee.

I chose this hotel because it was dog friendly. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. But it's not luxurious, and there was a $75 charge for my dog, which I didn't see on their website. I thought that was a little steep. There was no coffee maker in the room and the coffee in the lobby wasn't very good. There was no glassware in the room and no bottles of water. It was OK for my purposes, but I'm not sure I would stay again.

I am not impressed by this property. A bagel breakfast is an insult. I would never have known this was a Hilton property because it is not even close to the quality of the rest of the brand.

Stay at Spark hotel was good. Only complaints I have is water pressure was poor and water temperature was warm not hot. These are the only things I didn't like.

We just stayed at this hotel over Christmas. Starting on the second day of our stay, our room had an overwhelming marijuana smell. It was so bad we had to leave our door open for a few hours every evening to try to air it out. Our clothes also smelled bad when we got home and we had to wash everything to get rid of the smell. I would not stay here again.

Place is brand new! Asrar, the man that checked us in was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Give him and the hotel 5 stars

Otherwise the hotel was very nice. Clean, and very affordable. Front desk staff was helpful. Bagel bar was boring. Some other pastries would have been nice.

We were charged pet fee. $75. This is outrageous. My little dog that dont shed or smell. Awful The website didn’t say there was charges Won’t be staying there anymore

I want to give 5 stars but we had no hot water until morning and the fire alarm went off at 330am and kept going off!! Clerk offered no information or discounts, showed no compassion for the effects this had on my special needs child.
