Hampton Inn & Suites Fresno-Northwest

The breakfast was served in paper plates with plastic forks and spoons, not expected to a hotel Hilton. People were nice and helpful, the parking was available and free, they serviced the rooms every other day and the air conditioning was well working. The bathtub was very slippery, which I found pretty scarry, but I found a solution without asking the front desk for help. Good hotel, just not updated to the today's needs.

We were told about the breakfast, just happen to see a visitor with a waffle on the second day. Other than not knowing our stay was great.

What made it special was the extras. Fresh fruit, nice toppings for the waffles and oatmeal. It’s “the little things that count” and they provided a nice assortment of little things that took an ordinary breakfast to extraordinary. We didn’t spend any time in town. But there were plenty of places to eat nearby, and a coffee shop across from the driveway entrance. A nice stay overall. We would definitely use this location again if we were ever in the area.

The coffee make didn’t work. Ask to have replace that morning. We were gone all day and evening and the coffee maker didn’t get replaced AND THE ROOM HAD NOT BE CLEANDED !! We had to ask for towels and coffee that night and made the bed ourselves.

Clean room staff were helpful and friendly breakfast was good the only problem were the other guests we were on the 2nd floor and the people on the 3rd above us were so loud and stomped their feet all night . No fault of the hotel or staff.

O come to Fresno often and have stayed here before. Last time I was in a nice suite (Hampton inn and suites?). This time I paid more for my room and it was tiny which wasn’t the worst part. The bed faced the window which had no blackout curtain so the sun was in my face the entire time. I couldn’t even see the tv it was so bright. I will not be staying here in the future.

Everything went well , except I had reserved a king size bed and they gave me a handicap 2 queen size bed room , I had requested for a reason we were on our anniversary and it just mess my trip up by giving something I didn’t want since I made the reservation, the girl said they didn’t have anymore rooms , so why even do reservations when you are not going to honor them i was very disappointed on Hyatt for doing this .

Furniture is a little worn down and needs replacing..

The hallway particularly around the lift area needs a clean up.

The property sits in front of a very active train track and intersection. The trains use their horns at intersection, and trains pass every two hours throughout the day and overnight. I left early and was not retunded for the nuisance. Customer service is terrible, Managment was supposed to contact me regarding the matter, however no response. It was clean, however will never stay here again and will not be considering Hamptons for stays in the future.

The place was nice but last day we were there the hallways smelled like someone sprayed raid in the vents gave me a headache I reported it to them 2 hours later it smelled better. The beds were very hard would have loved a softer bed but the hotel and breakfast was nice.

When we checked in, I asked what the pool hours were and they said the pool and hot tub were being renovated. Nowhere on their website did it state this. These amenities were the main reason I chose this hotel for my family. We went into the room and sat down on the bed and you could feel all the springs in the mattresses. The whole room felt rundown and uncomfortable. I have never walked out of a hotel before but nothing about the room was nice and comfortable, the way you should feel when you stay at a nice hotel. It was worth not getting a refund and just going somewhere else. This is the first terrible review I have ever submitted for any business. They need to do better, extremely disappointing for our family.

Bed was comfortable, great shower and they even called me to let me know I forgot my jacket in the closet. Only complaint is the dog fee is a bit high, $75. I would defiantly stay again!

Front desk clerk, Juliet, was extremely friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, shower pressure was great, beds were comfortable. Only thing missing was half ot the black out blinds. Other than that - great stay!

This hotel needs to be upgraded. The carpet in the hallway is dirty/stained. The furniture in the room was old and dirty. Two used q-tips were in the garbage can in the bathroom. I was by myself so I know they were there before I went into the room.

Staff was excellent at the front desk. Unfortunately, the room service had the room temperature set at 50. Sure took a while to warm the room. Quite uncomfortable. The location is next to train and crossing which caused train horns to sound regularly at night when trying to rest.

Terrible location. Super loud between freeway and train tracks - so both sides of the is hotel are noisy. Hotel was very cold inside so you had to wear a coat and the the internal room thermostats functioned poorly. We couldn't get warm here. It was like camping. Then the shower made this horrible whiny noise. Overall, I would never ever after here again.

Easy accesss from highway.

Spa tub closed, pool dirty, lots of construction, which reroutes you miles out of the way just to get to the location. The only redeeming quality was the staff, Aldo, who was very kind and helped us get into the pool area because the gate is broken. Also, the housekeeping staff was working very hard, so they deserve praise. I do not recommend this hotel.

Needed a room for the night, checked in late left early , room was clean and very spacious.

Front desk girl was rude. They didn't accept my debit card for the incidentals fee. And told her i didnt have any other cards because this is my bank debit card. Its fdic ensured, visa logo, through sutten bank nothing crazy or weird. I used the same card to book my reservation but couldn't pay my $20 incidental with it for some reason.l because of thr so called policy. She Offered no other help just stared at me. The room was dirty and smelled. Stepped on a big piece of hard candy that was stuck to the floor. My A/C unit wasn't working properly. I tried adjusting it to make it colder and it did nothing. The water was going to be shut off at 8AM so i wouldn't be able to take a shower in the AM unless i get up earlier. The hotel didn't say anything because i would not have stayed there. My room key got deactivated and had to reactivate it. It was horrible. One thing after the other with this place. I checked out early and went somewhere else. Felt like i had no choice but to stay because it was non refundable but i had enough. I just wanted a nice quiet relax day in a clean room and this place just ruined it.

Breakfast room very crowded. No tables opened garbage cans very full needed to be emptied only one person working needed more people food was cold and bit real good lady was always filling up food. Train passed by at 4 or 6am in the morning. Half a sleep but not appreciated.

The room couldn’t be darkened at all! We got practically no sleep! We had to be up early in the morning for our daughter’s surgery & the lights from the road and traffic and sun kept us up all night! Photos of the light in our room even as early as 3/4 am and again around 5 am when we had to be up. And the dead Cockroach next to the toilet. How does that even happen on the 3rd floor?

The television was a 19 or 20 inch and looked like it was bought in in the 90’s.

The hotel was conveniently located right off of the highway. Check-in was quick, and I was provided with a complimentary beverage and snack for signing up for their rewards program. Our room was clean. The free breakfast was a welcome surprise.

I was totally off putt at the fact that I showed up at the hotel about 2 o’clock and was refused to get a room until after three I’ve never went to a hotel and been refused till after three there’s always a room available. I had just came off of working 14 hours and I really wanted to go to sleep and I was forced away so needless to say I will not be staying at the Hamptons again

Loved the keyless check in

Upon booking and settling into the room we got food and came back to see a roach crawling up the wall to get into the building. (I did get a video) and then there was a bucket in front of the elevators for some type of leak in the building first/second floor. (I got a photo) the staff wouldn’t say anything about it without seeing the pest in person and said not to worry about it.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, restful night sleep was impossible. We could hear freeway and construction noise all day. Hotel is located between train tracks, freeway and construction site. It was very noisy. Train tracks are probably 500 feet from facility. Train runs all day and all night, blasting its horn.

Much nicer place (chain) than I remembered. We were traveling so paying $150 for this nice room was so much better than the $120 we paid for a tolerable Quality Inn room the night before. Pay the extra and be comfortable. Good bed, pillows and descent breakfast. There is construction on the road to hotel as well as in front of hotel.

The hotel is directly next to a freeway on ramp and train tracks with trains running every hour! Not only is it noisy but the train shakes the entire room. The front desk was nice but I will never stay at this location again.

The room was not up to Hilton standards. The furniture in the room was outdated, scuffed from wear, and small 36" television. One can sum up breakfast by their decision to use plastic forks and knives. Guest service? Failure. I walked by the from desk a few times. Each time I walked by the desk I tried to gain eye contact to acknowledge the clerk. I was ignored.

The bad: 30 min wait in line to check in. No soap dispenser or tray for small bar of cheap soap in bathroom. Does no one wash their hands? No toilet paper hanger one must hold roll and unwind like a teenager. Very load pool area and could hear stomping around from other floors. Won’t return.

The hotel was fine. There was construction doing on the roads around the hotel to getting in and out of the parking lot was hard.

We arrived early and the two ladies at the desk were very friendly and accommodating. Our room wasn’t ready yet so they upgraded us, I thought that was very nice and not necessary, but appreciated as we were tried from our drive in!

Trains ran all night. The area is fine and felt relatively safe. Conveniently located by freeway and shopping area.

There was lots of construction around and homeless people

Fantastic place, I'd recommend a stay there as soon as construction on the road in the back is complete. It was virtually impossible at night to find the entrance through a maze of cones with no lights and it seemed we were driving into oncoming traffic. Unfortunate because the place is really nice.

Me and my wife reserved a room two weeks in advance, and we were notified. The room was available and waiting for our arrival. When getting there we checked in went upstairs, went into the room and found another person was already in that room. We were then moved down to another floor, which was unfortunate, but I did not like the confusion in a mistake of a corporation so big.

Great rooms for price! Easy access to freeway and close to plenty of stores and restaurants. The dining room was very clean and breakfast was also delicious with plenty of options including coffee.

Construction & roadwork outside the hotel was beyond the hotel’s influence. No big deal, though.

We arrived when it was dark, construction was going on, and there were no clear instructions for getting into the parking lot. Besides that construction, everything else was fine the breakfast was good.

Clean hotel and room. Complimentary breakfast with both hot and cold options was very nice and the eating area is spacious and clean. Customer service was very pleasant. Housecleaning cleaned every other day, not every day. Not a problem for us but you may want to know.

The hotel is outdated, though clean. On 4th floor, it was difficult to get hot water in shower one of the mornings. There is tremendous construction going on in front of the facility - appears to be infrastructure - town buried water lines or the like. Ate breakfast one of the mornings and all hot breakfast items were cold even though it was only 6:15 in the morning. The gym equipment was in good shape.

Overall ok stay . Construction right behind Staff very nice.
