The front desk employee was so accommodating and helped us with an early check-in after our red-eye flight from the West Coast. That level of customer service is one of the reasons we keep coming back. We always stay here when visiting the area and absolutely love it!

Great location, nice rooms, excellent bed and unique sofas. Comfortable Bistro for breakfast. Friendly staff. The radio clock in the room had the completely wrong time which I couldn't fix; they said they'd send an engineer up but it was taking too long and I had a guest coming, so I canceled that. Also, some other guests down the hall on my floor were loud, rude, fighting, slamming doors around midnight and again at 4 am, interrupting my sleep. ,

Our hotel stay was awesome so convenient to activities and free parking was a plus. Clean rooms.

It was our anniversary we had a nice room small but nice. They didn't have no toothpaste make sure you bring your own im glad we brung ours 😆 . We had a balcony but no chairs for the balcony. It was raining but it was nice. We will come back this summer. T here are a lot of restaurants and shopping around target Kohls Dave and buster you can walk around even have a playground for the kids.

No hot water. Shampoo dispenser in shower was covered in hair. Cheese and half a bottle of soda in refrigerator. Friday night was nothing but slamming doors and screaming, the walls were actually shaking.

My husband and son stayed here while playing in a basketball tournament. My husband said the hotel was very nice and in a great location.

Our daughter will attend Catholic U in the fall, and this hotel was perfect for all those trips we anticipate to DC. Very reasonable price AND free parking AND cool neighborhood with fantastic restaurant choices!

The staff was wonderful and very welcoming. The room was spotless, and the balcony view was absolutely delightful. The only downside was the parking garage it was free, which I appreciated, but it was often overcrowded and made finding a spot a bit difficult. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay! The area around the hotel is excellent with many choices for dining, shopping and entertainment! The hotel is very clean with a lot of amenities to choose from. We’re definitely going to be staying there again!

The parking is free for everyone in that area so due to the congestion it made it hard to find parking and my food that I had to pay for came out cold. I ordered french toast and they delivered it to my table cold.

It’s a Marriott, I expect a little common sense when comes to hospitality, when I showed the front desk pictures and a video with sound they offered me some lame ass points. Won’t stay again as I’ve used this hotel many times before!! They say you get what you pay for, wasn’t the case!!!

only downside was the noise from the nearby highway but when the door is closed it was quiet

Location is great except for the “boardwalk” is very loud and vibrating until 2am on weekends. The AC in my room made the most annoying noise so I’d have to turn it off to fall asleep then wake up in middle of the night to turn it back on. Then off and on again. Everything else about the hotel was fine but if you can’t get a good night’s sleep then it’s hard to recommend to others or desire to return.

I tend to frequent this property while visiting family but this time the AC was not working and draining of water in lavatory was not as expected. When I addressed, I was simply told sorry for the incovenience.

Sofa bed was awful. Called front desk to switch rooms and they wouldn’t because we booked through a third party. I was willing to pay e difference in price. They wouldn’t budge. Spent an awful night

My husband and I enjoyed an overnight. Check in was a little lengthy as there were many people waiting and only one staff member at the desk. We paid extra for a balcony room, but there were no chairs to utilize the balcony. Otherwise, breakfast from the bistro was yummy and the room was nice enough.

The location, staff and room were all good. Unfortunately in the morning my husband started to take a shower and the water was scalding hot with no ability to cool it down so he had to jump out to avoid getting burned. Needless to say, neither of us were able to which was terrible start to the day. I mentioned it to the staff on the way out so they could have a plumber look into it. They did apologize but I feel very strongly that a refund should have been offered. Very unsatisfactory.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone sleeping on the pull out couch! The springs were popping all over and the most uncomfortable nights sleep.

Check-in was smooth, facilities were clean, room was spacious and well-maintained. Attached restaurant served excellent food. Shower stream was a little weak. Adjacent mall has a lot of amenities and parking was free and easy. Overall,, a very good stay.

While pur stay was nice and comfortable, my personal pillow (specially ordered for a neck issue) was left behind. I called the same day, and they said they didn't have it. There's no way. It had a printed case on it, so it did not blend in with other pillows. Very disappointed that an upscale hotel would do this.

Everything was ok i booked the room because the picture showed it had a microwave and checked in and it wasnt one there i was disappointed.

Had a bug crawling on my bed after a long trip and was exhausted. Had to change rooms and was told thats normal for this time of year, they all come out because of the weather” in my room and the floor reeked of marijuana. Still waiting on property to offer a discount

The room seemed brand new and clean. It was close to everything. Someone knocked on our door twice in the middle of the night, which seemed sketchy, but that was our only complaint.

The location was fun inconvenient very busy during the holiday celebration, but that was to be expected. Very clean neighborhood low traffic during the week high traffic during the weekend very friendly. Staff loved our stay and we will be back again.

Second time staying at this property and it’s truly in a great location! We chose this hotel bc we were visiting family in the area, but the bonus is everything around the hotel! The hotel itself is great, clean, well-maintained and the staff has always been professional. We did not eat at the hotel or use any other facility, but it’s great and plan to stay there again when visiting family next time. The location is fabulous! You’re right across the street from California Kitchen and the free parking lot. And the whole area is full of restaurants and shopping; Target and Dick’s Sporting Goods for example. Can’t recommend this hotel and it’s promise location enough!

I thought like most Hotels there would be a beagels and suchs as a complimentary breakfast. You had to pay for your breakfast, whic the prices were rediculouse. First Hotel I've ever been in that was like that, and I travel alot!

Best hotel ever

Hands down one of the best hotel stays that I have ever had! The room TVs were great for streaming Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, and Pluto. We also used the TVs to listen to our music via Bluetooth.The staff was amazing, and our room had spectacular views. We literally live in Gaithersburg, about five minutes away, and we're so happy that this beautiful hotel is in our backyard.

The Rio area is awesome!

My favorite place to stay when I'm in town. Super convient with the dining, shopping and movies nearby. The trail around the lake is nice! I've loved every stay so far.

In the bathroom, also had wider space to move around. There are grab bars in the bathtub. It is a well designed room. It made me very comfortable and pleased.

Staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Location was awesome and surrounded by all you need for shopping and groceries. To top it off there is a lake and boardwalk and many recreational activities for all members of a typical family!
