Solitude Not quite what I expected. Some boats and stuff that were detracted from the peaceful ambience.

The breakfast was unbelievable. Fresh fruit, fresh pastry, coffee and a casserole type breakfast. Very tasty. Maybe build it new but then you wouldn't have the rustic charm

Wonderful little place! Comfortable bed and nice breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries, snacks, juices. It was private and quiet. Just what we needed for a relaxing weekend.

This retreat proves that "rustic" can be done right. If you simply must have the Ritz then pass by this little gem. But if a back to nature change of pace sounds inviting in the Eureka Springs area, Sugar Creek will not disappoint. Shady, nicely groomed, creekside grounds surround the small private inn's clean, comfortable rooms. No TVs to interrupt your peace and quiet, and packaged snacks and soft drinks are included in the room price.

Jay is amazing! Absolutely is in the right business! So gracious and accommodating. I had an issue with the air congitioner and he apologized profusely and remedied the situation. I look forward to going back to Arkansas just so I can stay there again. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere with such a marvelous host.

Loved the rustic natural surroundings and setting. Free drinks and snacks. Delicious pastries, fruit and yoghurt for breakfast eve though no resturant. Very comfortable bed. Microwave and fridge very useful in room. Although garden area, perhaps other outside space could be more tidy.

Sugar Creek Resorts is a wonderful getaway. The owner greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of our room and the property. The area around the resort is gorgeous. The resort is clean and well taken care of. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in his property and it really shows. I hope to return when I can spend more time at the property.

Sugar Creek Retreat is a peaceful oasis just up the road from a Civil War battlefield. The rooms are simple and comfortable. The owner/host is gracious and helpful. The continental breakfast was first rate: pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, Keurig coffees, teas, juices.

Without a doubt, the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in! Rustic and cozy room. Good variety of breakfast items. Good water pressure. No tv... which was perfect for us. Very clean. This will be our new spot to stay when we are in the area. Rooms feature a mini fridge (stocked with some cold water!) and microwave for your convenience. Air was cold.

Check out time is 1pm. At 1130am, I heard voices of men outside my door and my door was opened. No knocking. Just opened the door! I had just gotten out of the shower. I was naked and had mouth wash in my mouth. As you can imagine, I couldn't even scream. Horrible. Unprofessional. Single women travelers. Beware! This was also during the covid19 pandemic.

If you’re looking for a place that looks new, this is not it. If you’re looking for a place that is clean with comfortable bed chair and couch, this is it. The owner and the housekeeper are very nice and I think they will do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. There is no TV, but not sure that’s a bad thing. There is wi-fi. They have places outside to sit and enjoy the outdoors, day or night, but other than that not much to do. Breakfast area is extremely small, with no place to sit, and choices are a bit limited but adequate. Carpet in the room appeared to be new. Our room was brown! And I mean brown. Walls and ceiling were plywood stained brown. For me it affected the atmosphere. A bit drab maybe. It would be nice if the room was a bit more welcoming. They are doing some work on the place, but didn’t seem to have definitive plans for the outcome. I believe there is lots of potential here to make it a great place.

Our room was exceptionally clean! Staff was accommodating and had fantastic customer service! We will book there again!

We had a great stay! The outdoor fire pit was awesome....it was like camping, but you get to go inside (AC) and sleep in a super comfy bed! Everything has obviously been remodeled and was beautiful!

We stayed for 3 nights. Sugar Creek Retreat is located 1/2 way between Eureka Springs to the east and Bentonville/Rogers to the west. We went west one day and east the next day.
