    The price is reasonable for short stays. Good location for Germantown. Walking distance to restaurants and a metro bus center. You can catch the bus to the subway and travel cheaply all across the DC metro.

    I was locked out of my room due to the key no longer working around 11:45pm and the front desk staff was nowhere to be found. I called the hotel over 30 times with no answer. I had to sleep in my car with all of my belongings in the room. In the morning, I went to the front desk to finally find someone. I explained what had happened and they could have cared less and shrugged it off.

    Their breakfast was tiny prepackaged muffins and cereal bars. Ran out of coffee and never made more and it was only until 9:30 on weekends which they do not tell you when you check in. Staff not friendly and everything you ask was "I don't know ". Rooms had terrible odor and dirty towels and sheets had an old musty smell. No elevators which is not told to you and my husband has bad knees and we had to lug our luggage up and down steps

    They are all polite and very helpful. If you don't know where the room is, they help direct you to it. Rooms are always cleaned before arrival. the breakfast was good. they also have sets of pots and pans for the room.

    I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your Rockville location on April 24, 2026, with checkout on April 25, 2026. Upon arrival, my guest and I were assigned a room by the night manager, Hameed. Unfortunately, the room key provided to us did not function properly. When I returned to the front desk to report the issue, the response I received was dismissive and lacked urgency or professionalism. This initial interaction set a concerning tone for the remainder of our stay. Additionally, there was a troubling situation where an individual exited the room we had been assigned and was described as “supposedly” an employee. This raised serious concerns regarding guest safety, security protocols, and room assignment procedures. Furthermore, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The overall cleanliness did not meet basic hospitality standards. The bathroom, including the tub area, was visibly dirty, which made the stay uncomfortable and unsanitary. Given these issues—specifically the lack of professionalism, questionable security situation, and poor room cleanliness—I am requesting a full refund for this stay. I believe this is a reasonable resolution considering the circumstances. I had initially considered leaving a negative public review; however, I wanted to give your management team the opportunity to address this matter directly. I would appreciate a prompt response regarding how this situation will be resolved.

    Staff are pleasant, room was clean, parking was easy. We booked the room because it offered a kitchenette but there was nothing to cook with or prepare food. A flyer inside the room offered a way to “customize your kitchen” with a “practical comforts” option ( plates utensils, mugs, drinking glasses) and/or additional amenities( pans, toaster, coffee maker) when we requested some of the items we were given 2 plates and 2 teaspoons and were told nothing else was available. Would not recommend if you actually want to use the kitchen. Breakfast is coffee and packaged muffin.

    To make matters worse, we also noticed small cockroaches in the room, which is completely unacceptable from a hygiene and safety standpoint.     Kitchen area wasn't what I expected. Holes in the wall and didn't supply any necessities for the extended stay like all the others. Make sure you take all kitchen supplies because they don't supply any of them. Bed was basically a cot not a real frame which makes it an uncomfortable to sleep.

    Nothing the staff there need to be retrained they are very unprofessional and rude I had an issue with my check in and the clerk at the desk did not help me at all she basically left me to figure it out on my own and not only that she never gave me my ID back I had to have another person tell me she left it on the desk (as if it’s not enough Americans getting their identity stolen) and she refused to give me a number for a supervisor or email but I will definitely be contacting them and leaving another review about this because I am a paying customer their should have been no reason for me to be treated this unfairly.

    The hotel attracted some rough-looking characters who lingered around the property, giving the area a sketchy feel. Obtaining fresh towels was inconvenient, as staff insisted on inspecting and counting the used ones before issuing replacements and charged for them. Overall, not terrible for the price — but probably not ideal if you’re traveling with children.

    Rooms were very run down and the fumes from whatever was used to clean them were way too strong, as if trying to cover up something.     As a single woman, having a first-floor room with an exterior door in the back of the building was a negative. The room had a strong perfume smell that made me sneeze, and it felt very humid.moldy in the room. The alarms went off for me about the safety of the area when the check in area was completely behind a shield from desk to ceiling.

    Only reason 1 give 1 star is because I am not able to give 0. We HAVE to get a refund. Met a pest control provider when I was checking in. Key to the room didn’t work. Bed was broken, and maintenance “fixed” it with bungee cords. One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I travel a lot. I have plenty of pictures to share. Unless you’re looking to smoke pot with neighbors, avoid this at all costs.

    The room was dirty, there was a bug on the pillow and others on the floor. Holes in the wall and it was a noisy place. Obviously the owner is not interested in fixing anything or hiring people who will fulfill their obligations. I would not be surprised if bedbugs are an issue.

    Honestly the staff is super great but the fact that I got the place for a deal at 89 is an outrage this place is a motel at best the tv is at best 32 inches 2 pillows offered on the bed and not even a trash can to throw your trash into you can see right through the blinds if you really wanted to as they are wrinkled up and out and don’t shut properly honestly wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy

    The place was so gross. Carpets had a sludge on them. The room smelled like mildew mixed with Pinesol that seeped into our clothes. All the doors to the cabinets were broken and chipped. The tub had a gray ring around it. Breakfast was a joke. It looked like a room out of an old horror movie. I could go on, but you get the point

    The property has more of a motel vibe, with outdoor entrances and a generally run-down feel. The bed was decent, but the pillows were uncomfortable—fortunately, I brought my own. Amenities are very limited. There’s a sign saying you can request dishes, but I didn’t bother. However, I really needed a basic cup to take medicine and drink water and couldn’t find one anywhere. No hairdryer either, and when I asked the front desk, they didn’t have one available. That said, it’s fine for the price and the location is convenient—just a few minutes from Top Golf, Starbucks, and grocery stores. Bottom line: Bring your own cup and don’t expect much. It’s passable for a budget stay, but definitely nothing fancy.

    When I went to the lobby to check in at 3PM on Nov 16, 2024, I had to wait about 15 minutes while the single person behind the desk allowed a woman to continue to ask for a free room repeatedly. The lobby was overly warm and uncomfortable. The room itself was fine. Nothing great, nothing terrible. The heater/AC unit was a problem as the heat wouldn't turn off until you put the AC back on. The bathroom sink was a little dirty but you don't go to this hotel chain for a glamorous stay. Around 10AM I realized I was running a bit behind so I called the front desk to ask for a late checkout. I requested one additional hour, so checkout at noon rather than 11AM. The guy on the phone said that was fine. Then at 11:15AM he is knocking on the door asking how I was going to pay for the additional hour. He made no mention of this when I called. It's common for hotels to allow early check in or late checkout if there isn't someone waiting for the room. For him to be requesting money, when he made no mention of it when I requested the late checkout, was uncalled for, and the way he decided to do this was downright rude. It's fine if you want to go against the way things have been done for years. But you should let people know about payments when they request something, not go banging on their door. I shoved my things in a bag and left at 11:25AM. I don't plan on returning to this hotel in the future.

    Stayed a night for business and it was just a great place. Very clean, everyone is very friendly. They accommodated my 36 foot box truck and there was food (restaurants) everywhere. Also it’s behind a TopGolf so that was cool.

    The ‘grab and go breakfast’ was a nutrigrane bar or a prepackaged muffin. Facility was not as described on the web site. Very low end. Old and shabby.

    I had to go to the office and request more towels on day 4, and had to request a roll Of toilet paper on day 5! ( you would have thought I was asking for $1000! So rude!) Never even saw the “breakfast “ the office is one small room and I was never given any information of where breakfast is served at check in. (Not that I would have eaten it anyway) Seems there are many people that are “living” at the hotel which is sad, and I do feel bad for them, because as paying guests all should be treated with respect and dignity, and housekeeping Should at least check rooms for towels and toilet paper daily!! Won’t stay there again. Won’t recommend anyone to stay there.

    This was the worst hotel stay i ever had. The toilet in the room was removed. I couldnt go to bathroom. The shower was filty and had water that didnt drain sitting in it. I have pictures

    AVOID THIS HOTEL. The bathroom was covered with hair, their were stains on the sheets and the overall vibe of the hotel made us feel unsafe. We checked in at 11pm, they tried to clean it again, still dirty so we went down to the Best Western in Rockeville at midnight (highly recommend). Tried to get a refund through Expedia and they were worthless too, wasted $350 for 2 nights in a place that should be refurbished with a wrecking ball. If Expedia can not come through for the individual verus the big corporation why even use their service??? Never again.

    Son and I - they said king bed with pull out couch - got into our room , it stunk from smoke which is supposed to be a non smoking room , was musty , dirty , no bedding at all for the sofa bed , I had to call down , the sofa bed the springs were popping through and no way could you sleep on it , the 3 of us full size adults had to sleep together in one bed ! I called the front desk asked if they could bring us another mattress to lay on top of the one we had on the sofa , no one showed up , they knew there was 3 ppl staying in the room and only 2 towels provided , asked for another , again no service and. Otho g or no one showed up . There were vagrants lingering around the hotel doing drugs , was quite scary! We were in town for a lacrosse tournament- I tried to find another hotel nearby to move to but everything was sold out - couldn’t wait to get home and shower to finally feel clean - even my 17 year old son said mom this place is gross and the bed feels dirty ! They also advertise a kitchen - but no cookware , utensils , dishes , soap - absolutely nothing ! One the the absolute worst places I have ever stayed in and we travel a lot ! This was a 0/10 !!!!!

    Floor was filthy. Tub was stained. Shower and towel rods were rusty. Beds were uncomfortable. Substantial road noise. Drapes were dirty and didnt close completely. Staff was unhelpful and unfriendly.

    r than expected. Notified the hotel well in advance that we would be, only to arrive to find out that the room booking had been canceled. Spent the rest of the stay battling with desk staff. Got a smoky room even though we had booked a non smoking room. Rough hotel, get what you pay for.

    I didn't like that i showed up to check in and there was no one at the desk, waited for over 20 minutes, called guest relations, still no one showed up to check anyone in.There were 3 other people waiting to check in as well who also had to find somewhere else to stay. Had to find another hotel in the middle of a lacrosse tournament with thousands of guests in town and WAS STILL CHARGED FOR THE ROOM when I never even checked in.

    I love the price and the rooms were overall clean. However, The ac vents need to be clean because the blow out dirty air. The staff weren’t that helpful. And they charge for towels. My overall experience there was a 6.5/10.

    No utensils, no extra towels, breakfast to go horrible, no working tv for 2 days. No soap tray in bathroom, no manager to talk to and pay for extra towels. 2 microwaves, one broken and smoking, no one tells you and it shoukd have been unplugged, no hangers for the closet.

    And this is where it made me mad. I was checking out for my groomsmen and I went to the front desk 30 mins before I had to go but again, NO ONE IS AT THE FRONT DESK. I dont understand how you dont have anyone at the front desk and have people wait 20 mins everytime. Someone finally comes in after 20mins and says that i can just leave my room key on their desk. Thats when I was getting frustrated again. Couldnt you put a paper or something to let the guests know that if no one is at the front desk, they can just leave their keys at certain place to get checked out? Of course I got to my wedding late and had to push back some time due to this. Now after the wedding. I come back around 2pm and our room key did not work. So we went to the front desk and guess what. NO ONE IS THERE AGAIN. I waited for 20mins and just decided to go out and come back later. Because no one is there. If its only 1 person working. I feel like you should get more people, if not, at least put up a sign to call certain number or something. We also asked for new towel. Employee said okay, guess what didnt happen. Towel wasnt there.

    It is budget, you get a kitchen. The beds are actually comfortable to sleep in. You have to pay for some decent wifi there. No pots and pans to cook with. So if you plan ahead bring your own pan. You’re all set. It’s kind of like camping in a way. No breakfast just coffee and if your late like me, hot water and instant coffee. I’d probably stay somewhere else if you don’t need the stove top.

    It took me about 45 to 50 minutes to check in because no one was at the front desk, I had to sit and wait. I even tried calling the front desk while in the lobby and the phone just rang and rang. I honestly shouldn’t have been charged for my first night !
