You should at least have coffee in the lobby for guest

When we arrived we were told there would be no water from 11pm-3am due to a water main issue. We were given 2 water bottles and told to shower before 11pm if we so desired. It was well after 10pm when we arrived. Our room was 75 degrees and very stuffy. AC was not working. We were changed to another room with AC. We were exhausted and needed sleep due to an early departure (5am). Would have loved a cup of coffee but the coffee maker was DISGUSTING. It had floating debris in the water tank and looked like it hadn't been cleaner, maybe ever. The rooms are definitely dated. Did not shower, nor use any amenities. Very surprising for this hotel chain. Would not stay here again.

Overall good stay. Lots of restaurants all around the facility with in 0.30 to 4. 0 miles and more if you like to explore further out.

I love the size of the room for a family of four. It was very clean and the location was awesome. It was around everything in a short distance including the facility, where our basketball tournament was, we literally could walk there N/A

Upon check in the clerk explained NOTHING about the property. No breakfast can be ordered at X time, pool is this way, nothing. My room was on the first floor, not even on carpet. My room was in the ballroom/ meeting hall. As a single woman traveling alone being on the 1st floor also meant that for safety reasons I couldn’t leave the curtains open with my room window being at the parking lot. So I felt like I was in a closet! You could not see the full tv from the bed even with it being on a swivel mount. I was wondering why the staff was so terrible, even upon check out there was no inquiry about my stay. I realized upon leaving that this courtyard used to be a residence inn. I guess they left the staff and renovated the rooms because it was subpar. I won’t stay at this location again.

Con- Indoor pool was unheated and chilly. Whirlpool not operational although hot. Operating button missing, emergency button appears broken off and lack of use has the water looking less than inviting. The daily water checklists on the wall for sanitation levels was not clear if ever updated or measured daily. I didnt risk getting in.

When I arrived we were exhausted, I had to wait over 15 min for someone to show up at the front desk. I booked the room so we could get enough sleep, and prepare for the next day so this was very irritating.

Room was very nice staff was courteous. The refrigerator was extremely small and there was no microwave for warming up leftovers.

The room was perfect! We arrived in town for a volleyball tournament and Shaun was so accommodating to all of our requests. We were able to check in a little early which helped us relax and get settled before our tournament. Our bathroom light was flickering, we called down to have it looked at and when we arrived back to the room that evening, everything was in working order. We will definitely stay again should we be in the area

Dated rooms, no room make-up after the first night. No fresh towels or made bed.

This was a very uncomfortable stay because my pregnant wife didnt sleep. For a place to charge $176/ night to customers, you should be sleeping well. I dont ask for much, nor do I go around trying to get any kind of free shit. All I ask for is my money’s worth and the Courtyard Marriott @ Glen Allen was NOT it.

Got charged twice for accomodation and refund could not be processed until after checkout, a week later. Staff were overall not very helpful. I found a bug in my glass of water.

The breakfast food was excellent. Girl who worked front desk was wonderful and should get a raise. Booked 2 rooms, 1 was great, the other was infested with ants, faucet in bathroom leaked and ran down wall onto floor, bed comforter had stains.

The hot tub was not working. Also the hours for the pool and hot tub were from 12 PM to 9pm. The pool and hot tub, Should be available at 9 AM.. The shower in my room, the water drain slowly so while taking a shower, it was like taking a shower in the pool.

Location. Lots of dining around it. We asked to change our dates, prior to the cut off date as we had to stay and additional day wheee we were at prior. They don't respond and we ended up paying for a day that we didn't actually stay. When we went to take a shower there was a huge clump of hair on the shampoo bottle in the shower and on the floor of the bathroom.

Hot tub was cold so couldn’t use, the hot water kept running out in room, did not get any room service entire stay even after requesting it. Room was dark with very poor lighting. There is only one mirror in bathroom and none in the room which makes it real inconvenient when traveling with family and getting dressed. We would not stay here again.

This stay was amazing

Hotel was clean and beds were comfortable. The only gripe I could have is that the AC unit was loud and the light in the bathroom was dim but if we have another event in this are I will stay here again.

Courtyard always is a good choice.

The food ordered from the little in house was excellent. The front desk clerk was very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. Also, just the right temperature for the warm weather.

Property is in a terrible shape and the owners don’t seem to care. Customer Service was horrible, and the rooms were extremely dirty.

We stayed here twice. The room was spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and efficient. There are several different restaurant options, an easy walking distance from the hotel. It was a nice place to relax and unwind.

The very nice man at the front desk apologized and said that someone in his staff couldn’t come to work and so things weren’t up to snuff.

Great staff. Paid for 4 breakfast meals. Was told it was only a $5 credit per person. Not happy. Ended up spending an additional $36.00. Felt like this was a bait and switch. Won’t use booking or Priceline for at least a year. This will be my way as a consumer to voice my displeasure.

Check in was fine. Hotel is in a tired area but convenient to a lot. The building itself shows its age but overall, good enough for a basketball tournament weekend!

Marriot used to be a decent chain. They have gone downhill. The elevator was dirty, the hallways looked unvacummed. Not even complimentary coffee the other chains offer. My bathroom had someone elses soap scum on edge of tub. And it wasnt cheap for a weekday. My last time in Marriot.

Needs a bit of an overhaul. Picked it because it had good reviews but was a bit disappointing.

Rooms needs updating. The shower didn’t look clean, toilet did not look clean, & the sink as well. The room is nice & big but the bathroom was the draw back.

I was very surprised at the condition of this facility. I always prefer to stay at a Marriott because of being a pleasant experience. This was not! The entrance way, pool area, elevator was dirty. The courtyard was run down. They allowed a large group of very loud people to take over the lobby area all afternoon and evening,preventing all other guests from using the area.

Business trip. Room was just for sleeping, didn't have the opportunity to explore any amenities. The room's bed, storage and temperature was comfortable. Vending machine down the hall needs to be restocked. No other complaints.

When we first walked in there was a musty smell to the room. The tv mount is either broken or need tighten because it only pointed down. Also the food from the former occupant was still in the refrigerator.

I will say everytime we called the front desk which was over 3 times Aniyah I believe is her name went above and beyond even apologizing. She made this staycation a lot better for sure. This young lady was very professional, punctual and did it with a smile.

The hotel was great, staff, decor and rooms were wonderful. Our only complaint is no "free" breakfast. For the price we paid for the room we shouldve been offered at least a continental. We had to pay over $40 for two coffees and avocado toast. Just because it was a "nicer" hotel doesnt mean the guests should pay those prices for food.

Why don’t you all use mattress covers? The mattress was dirty and it was completely falling apart on the bottom- the bottom of the mattress was just denigrating foam. So gross!!

Staff was friendly and attentive. Things I would change 1 Pull out sofa in king suit very very hard like being on the floor hard. 2. Shower very slow to drain which always makes me wonder about cleanliness as how can you clean when tub does not drain? 3. Accessibility- I had a room with bathroom rails and a tub bench with higher toilet, but bed and other furniture very low- not accessible. 4. King mattress on bed smaller than the platform it sits and slides on. Hit my foot twice on the protruding corners. Would address this also.

Check in was smooth; the room is clean and functional. Although we don’t watch tv, it would be nice if the tv actually works.

Greeted by someone who did not look like he wanted to be there. Room was cold and the heat was not working. Was unable to take a shower. The water was COLD.

The property was fine. Our room needed a new tolite seat and needed to be cleaned better before we checked in. The sheets had body hair on them.

Door to room 222 looked like it had been busted open by police. Entire frame around lock gone. Towels racks in bathroom left hanging by 1 side with the other hanging off. Bathroom floor filthy with hair all over. Super disappointed.

Had a smooth check-in, although my room did not have the sofa bed like I had reserved. The front desk was helpful and offered to move me to a different room, but I didn't take them up on it. The bathroom and room were both spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Good lighting and wide parking spots

I booked this property because they have an indoor pool. Upon arrival and check in I asked about the pool hours and was told the pool was closed for maintenance/repairs. I said this wasn’t disclosed during booking nor was it updated on their website. The woman shrugged and said oh well it just happened a few days ago. This is something that needs to be disclosed and updated and by looking at the state of the pool this was not a new thing. It seemed to have been this way and had I known I would’ve found another hotel with a working pool as my children were looking forward to swimming. The stay otherwise was very nice and everything was clean. I’d stay at this chain of hotels again they could do better with keeping the information updated.

The bathtub acrylic was chipped and cracked. There were plenty of vacant rooms so it’s unclear why they would place guests there unless the rest of the rooms were similarly lacking maintenance.

Room was clean but floor board damaged by the tub and tub had several chucks knocked out.

Had an enjoyable stay and the room was exactly what we wanted. Will definitely return in the future!

It was okay, but the wifi didn’t work properly and the desk attendant said , “yeah, it’s not that great. You can speak to the maintenance man tomorrow about it.”. I was asked if I wanted my room cleaned daily, which I said there was no need on a three day stay. But when I called down to have the coffee replenished in my room, I was told coffee would be sent right up and it never came. I had to go downstairs and retrieve it myself. The only thing in our room was shampoo; no conditioner, body wash, or hand soap. The stay was fine, and the room was big, but it definitely was not great.

The property was excellent. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We slept well and enjoyed the stay.

Stayed here 4 nights on business- first room there were ants in the bed and on nightstand, second room there was no hot water, third room there was no Tv or internet, fourth room internet still spotty. Asked for a wake-up call every morning- never received any. Would NOT recommend this property.

We stayed here for a weekend basketball tournament and it was a good place to stay.

Overall it was very nice. Only down side is food options in the hotel are limited, but there are places like McDonald's and Panera that are very close-by.

My room was not vacuumed when I checked in. There was crumbs everywhere and a match on the floor. When housekeeping came the next day, she did not do a good job vacuuming and did not put a lot of effort in using the vacuum, as I stood there watching her

During my stay It was a horrible experience The mattresses were uncomfortable, The hot tub did not work, The Towel rack fell off the wall and I almost slipped and fell in their bathroom on multiple occasions. We asked for the towel rack to be fixed and I was told we had to wait until the following day to put in a work order. And I had 2 people with special needs with me. They also had bandaids placed over the electrical outlets

Room very comfortable and hotel was quiet. Stating there was a restaurant on premises was a reason I chose the facility but was disappointed in dinner selection. Breakfast was much better but bottled beverages were room temperature.

Bar was out of most liquor and some menu items. Lids on in room coffee cup didn’t match and caused a spill. They advertise high end, but fall a bit short. Room was clean and service was friendly.

Room was ok parking lot could use more lighting. No microwave in room. Pillows could be updated soon

I checked in late. Went to grab food. After edging I tried to place my food in the mini fridge. There was an awful smell and food left in the mini fridge that was rotten.

Room was amazing. Pool was so cold and hot tub was not hot or working so we could not enjoy those things.

In town for a wedding. Stayed the weekend. Hotel was great. Only issue I had is because we stayed the weekend, the cleaners didnt think to check on our room. We went out for a few hrs mid morning to early afternoon. No one came to our room while we were out nor did they knock and check to see if we needed clean towels etc. We returned and made our bed.
