Very simple but spacious room with full kitchen (refrig, dishes, cooktop, dishwasher). Although the bathtub was old and showing its age, the bathroom was clean, functional, and had clean towels plus shower amenities (shampoo, body wash, lotions, etc.). Staff were very courteous and helpful. Free breakfast was OK; hot food not very hot, but a variety of hot and cold items to choose from. Would stay here again.

The morning hot breakfast was unfavorably poor. The afternoon check in person was super nice. But the morning check out staff person Akaiaya was unhelpful, very slow and l could have been talking to a robot! She made me late in leaving for an appointment. The extra fees and charges on my bill were excessively high. I would not stay again.

The hot water in m room took very long, and was never very hot. Breakfast was nice but small selection of items. Also breakfast closes at 9 am. pretty early, most hotes I have been breakfast ends at 10 a.m.

The breakfast selection is substantial and diverse, going beyond just cereal and yogurt. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and would choose to stay here again in the future.

Very friendly staff, room was clean, although shower curtain could have been changed. Smells good throughout hotel. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. My only recommendations is to have turkey bacon or chicken sausage or something for people who do not eat pork products.

Our stay was only one night but the room was very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and they have a pickleball court + pool/hot tub.

Extremely friendly front desk staff, small but well equipped hotel gym, small pool without shade, good breakfast sides but not my favorite egg dishes, free laundry machines with long term stays, nice room/suite, in a good part of town with lots close by. I really liked this place and would definitely return if I'm ever in that area.

The upgrades are nice and the property was clean. We were disappointed that the breakfast offerings ended at 9 AM on the weekend. We weren’t told about the hours so we should have asked, but we went to get coffee at 9:05 and the area was closed off and the staff was very rude. Unfortunate that that’s what “ruined” the stay.

This is the second time I stayed at Sonesta. My first time since they “upgraded” the rooms. With all carpet ripped out and vinyl floor in, the room feels cold and unhome-like. There’s zero USB chargers in the bedroom and plugs difficult to get to. As well as no bedroom lights on a switch. So you need to use your phone’s flashlight to get around. All cabinets in kitchen and bathroom, headboard, night stands, coffee table and dressers are still old items from previous hotel. Window coverings are also old with broken hardware and don’t keep light out. I wanted to like it, but left underwhelmed. What Sonesta does have going for it is the rooms are a decent size, you didn’t hear neighbors and the halls are quiet, which is a plus. Additionally front desk staff are great!

It was like an old apartment. Chairs falling apart . Sofa cushions stained . I had to go buy sheets for the sofa bed because the ones they had looked like they where there since 1990. Bathroom roof had mold . We where sneezing all 4 days For $200 a night it was soooo bad and should of stayed next door. Stained dirty tub . I could of stayed in my cousins dirty apartment instead

Breakfast was very good - Chorizo and eggs, potatoes, tortillas, waffles, etc. Our room was a pleasant surprise; mini kitchen with range, refrigerator, micro-wave, and dining table. Really a neat layout with a sitting area as well. We had no problem finding parking even after arriving late in the evening.

We had a really nice stay. The staff was great and Morgan at the front desk found us a great suite close to an exit that made it work well traveling with our mini Schnauzer. Breakfast was good in a very clean and new environment and Angela was very gracious, up-beat and made us feel at home! We would choose to stay again. Thanks

My room had the weirdest odor for our entire 3 day stay. It smelled almost like a yeast (yuck!) and would not go away despite spraying body spray, opening windows, putting on exhaust fans and even frying bacon. It was really strange and also pretty funky. Front desk girls were very sweet and friendly though, the woman who ran breakfast wasn’t very nice and would close off the area before breakfast hours were even over.

The room with one exception was wonderful. It was clean, spacious, and very well equipped. I repaired the ice maker in the room so we could have ice and after the first night, figured out how to close the blackout curtains on the windows. Parking was decent and close to the room. Beverages purchased in-hotel were expensive. The exception was the bathtub, which has the safety grab bar on the wrong end of the tub. My wife fell while climbing out of the tub and broke her big toe and bruised the other toes. Except for that exception, our stay was very nice and since my wife is getting cancer treatment at City of Hope, the hotel was a relief for her and was a pleasant experience for both of us.

The couch was broke in our room and dirty dishes left in the cabinet I’m not one to rate a hotel, but this was upsetting as we had three in our party. So the couch was needed for sleeping. I really thought our experience was going to be positive, but I was very disappointed.

Breakfast was good with a lot of options. Staff were very friendly. I really appreciated the front desk attendant printing out Disney characters and giving coloring pencils to my daughter. It was very thoughtful and generous. Hot tub was nice and the pool is heated. I’d come back here again

Room was great. Fridge was noisy. We were driving by the hotel on our way to the cancer center and it was 20 minutes till check in time and the young lady at the desk wouldn't let us check in.

They should let people know that the entire hotel is going to smell like paint fumes, have drywall dust everywhere, and no water during points of the day. They were more than open to share this information the day after I checked in. I am sure it’s a great place but paying full price for that is out of line. Me and my crews will not be staying here again.

First off, IMMEDIATELY noticed a HUGE stain in the middle of the floor and noticed trash in/under the sofa. THEN!!! They called at 10 at night about a “leak” in the room below sent a maintenance crew but he “forgot” his tools and they told us they are coming up the following morning at EIGHT a.m and shared no compassion or empathy, even after checking out all they could say/offer was a condescending “hmmm”. Even saw room number plaques that had fallen off the walls at room doors. Not to mention, after checking in to get to our room we decided yo use the stairs just to get to the 3rd floor n have workers tell us the floor was under construction so we had NO CLUE and thought they told us the wrong room number so we get back downstairs and have to figure out where our room was, since nobody told us. We’re not asking for compensation rather just a small bit of empathy for the incredible inconvenience. Will not be booking with them again.

Cons: The carpets need cleaning as they are dusty. My child was sneezing nonstop. There was mold around the pool and some water fountains. That was concerning, especially with kids.

I had to get away from the fireworks with my 16 year old dog. This place was perfect. We only heard a few FW. My dog was able to enjoy the time away.

This was a stay over between a trip to Las Vegas and a trip to Sedona. It was to visit a friend in Phoenix. The hotel has formally a Residence Inn so it is very nice and roomy. The suite had a separate bedroom from the living area. Also had a kitchen area. Very nice room for a very reasonable price. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Staff was really nice, greatest us with a big smile. The room was clean as well as very spacious. All the amenities were wonderful. The pool and hot tub were clean. One of the best hotel stays I have had and I highly recommend and will stay there again.

We got a room that had accommodations although it was fine. I just feel that it could use a bit more improvement on the paint and some things that were noticeable in the bathroom. It just felt like it wasn’t as welcoming as the other rooms. And I didn’t need any accommodations I just got that room quicker. But seeing the way it could be better from a person who doesn’t need all of the accommodations it’s not very nice looking or warm to someone who does. If that makes sense. Thank you!

Well we booked a room here with Expedia and our room was to have a roll in shower and it did not nor were any of those types of rooms available. Bed's are hard. But all in all a nice hotel

I had a great experience overall! The room was fantastic—well-appointed and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met promptly. However, I found the breakfast to be just satisfactory; while there were some decent options available, I was hoping for a bit more variety and flavor.

Jennifer made check in quick & easy. She made us feel welcomed and texted to be sure our room was up to par. Our puppy appreciated the mature tree, grass, and paths around one side of the property. (Their pet fee has risen but they honored the amount listed on Expedia) The only negative was breakfast...open from 6-9, we arrived around 8. Only one pastry available & very little bacon or eggs which we took. Instead of refreshing the empty/almost empty containers, the attendant was chatting it up with someone. There was only one other person in the dining area so no rush that wiped out the offerings that we saw. We returned about 15 minutes later, hoping items had been refreshed but nope...still no bacon for us. We saw another couple asking about the missing items...they were told it would take 10 minutes to heat the egg white omelette so they left without. Finally, as we were getting back on the road at 9 and wanting a refill of coffee to go, the coffee was empty...really?! Again, the attendant seemed unphased, she mentioned getting slammed but that simply wasn't true based on our three visits between 8 and 9am. We left disappointed with how poorly managed the breakfast was. Everything else was good but management needs to improve staffing at breakfast.

Nice property, safe, convenient, attractive , nice bed and sizable room

As always it was a great stay. The room was a bit smaller than last. At the beginning of the trip the customer service was great we were greeted and taken care of. At the end of the trip the person behind the front desk was not very friendly, she wasn’t at the desk but left a sign saying she would be right back. Which was fine but when she walked in she didn’t greet me I got up and walked up to the desk and said hello she said nothing. She was just standing there as if she didn’t want to be there. She didn’t smile ,hardly made eye contact, just wasn’t friendly. I checked out and asked her if it was okay cause I had clothes drying but would be gone once it was done. She just said yeah sure. She then advised me that since I booked my room through a third party which I have every time I’ve stayed there, which has been almost every other weekend. She said she couldn’t print out my receipt cause her system didn’t allow her to. Although the previous times I was able to receive a printed receipt without even being asked. And only as I was walking away did she say thank you and have a great day. The other two ladies which we see all the time Jennifer and I don’t remember her name but she had a distinct beautiful name are the only two who are friendly and always greeting us, making conversation.

This is one of the best hotels in Goodyear. The property was super clean and the rooms were very spacious. I did not realize that we wouldn't get daily room service when I booked this room but the staff was very nice and open when asking for towels. Overall, excellent location and amenities. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Goodyear area.

The property was easy to find. The room was clean and cool when we entered, which is great when it’s over 100 outside. The pool was out of service the first night we were there but they did offer for us to walk next door and use the Hampton spool. Breakfast was small but tasty. Everyone was very polite friendly.

We were surprisingly impressed at the how clean and nice everything was. Free laundry, in clean machines! The girls at the front desk were so sweet and helpful. Everyone seemed happy to work there. Good job.

I liked this hotel very much. Very quite, very relaxing and very clean. They have a nice Continental breakfast. They also have a basketball court, swimming pool and gym to pass the time.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. We had a kitchen with a full size refrigerator. The hotel offers a breakfast, great choices. The pool is heated!! So wonderful. They also have a hot tub. They have a bbq grill for you to use. They have a washer and dryer available for you to use, free of charge! The staff work hard to keep everything clean. They are very helpful and kind. Anytime we asked for something, they were always happy to help.

II absolutely loved the room. It felt so comfortable, and I was impressed by how clean and shiny the suite was. It really made my stay enjoyable and stress-free.

During my stay at the this facility two vehicles had all 4 tires stolen. The cars were placed on rocks or cinder blocks. This facility doesn’t have cameras to review incidents nor if someone gets assaulted, no one will capture the incident. I will suggest to add a security system. This hotel is in a great location. Staff is fantastic

Best and easiest check in process and everyone is super nice and helpful. The woman working the front desk was super nice and helped me fill even my water jug with ice. The laundry room is conviient and high tech machines. Rooms are great clean and plenty of room.

Amazing place to stay!

The staff were fabulous, the rooms were absolutely perfect. So nice to have a king suite with full fridge, all including anything needed to prepare own meals. The pool was a perfect temperature and hot tub for cooler evenings. I really liked that there was a whole library ocboard games as well. We definitely would come back again ;)

We were upgraded to the penthouse due to the paint smell in the 1 bedroom suite. SUPER friendly staff, clean quiet room. LOVE having a full size refrigerator in the room with an ice maker. For sure will stay here again!!

The hotel is extremely quiet and clean. I had a 2 night stay there and aside from a minor "cooling" issue, which was rectified immediately, there is literally nothing bad that I could say about the property or its staff. Even the free breakfast which included several hot items were pretty decent.

We stayed in a studio room and it was nicely equipped with a stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. The only issue was the accessibility into the shower. They have a huge tall garden tub that is difficult for a shorter person to climb into the shower. Other than that it was a very nice space.

Older hotel but was nice and clean. The breakfast was great. The pullout sofa bed was not comfortable for my kiddo so definitely not stay for more than a day if planning to use. Staff was super friendly and accomadating. The pool and hot tub looked very nice but unable to use due to weather.

The room was very spacious, but could use some aesthetic improvements. Curtains and carpeting were out of date and the overall look could be improved. Overall, a full kitchen was appreciated and I’d probably book again.

The staff is friendly and efficient, the areas of opportunity are: Carpets need to be replaced in rooms and elevators, as well as other items in the rooms.

Sink and tub did not drain, received two wake up calls in the middle of the night that I did not request, could not adjust temperature in the room, it was hot and stuffy, bed and pillows we uncomfortable, woke up with sore hips and shoulders.

Easy check-in, good parking and centrally located. Hotel is across the street from Palm Valley Golf Course, near several other courses. Easy access to Goodyear ballpark.

Very clean and front desk very nice

The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel was located within walking distance from shopping and restaurants. The rooms were big and clean.

This hotel appears to be about 25 years old and everything is clean, but it also needs a refresh. Breakfast was just OK, the warming dishes for the buffet did not keep the food hot and often the coffee was only lukewarm.

Saw 5 employees and none of them wore masks. Even the overnight front desk guy that came in our room to remove a SCORPION. When I checked out, I asked about Marriotts mask policy and she said she didn't know about a policy. This is a location where there is currently a mask law. I realize some employees could have medical conditions but highly unlikely that 5 of 5 have conditions and do not know there is a law and very likely a Marriott policy.

Good clean place for my family to stay the night. The A/C could not cool the suite adequately enough so that was a bit frustrating. Otherwise it was a nice enough place to stay the night.

I’m sure due to the covid 19 things were different. The room was not made up, coffee was not replenished. There was no breakfast! Just dissappointing!
