Super 8 by Wyndham Goodyear/Phoenix Area

Each time, welcoming front desk employees, nice location & spotless rooms. Just an overall comfortable experience. Always my go to for a good price. Nothing really, just the breakfast wasn’t much but it didn’t really bother me.

Location is convenient Theres always parking spaces The bath tub's plug was stuck. I fixed to be able to shower. The toilet was not very clean. The floor did not look like it had been mopped. The refrigerator smelled bad.

Easy in easy out off the freeway I don’t know that I didn’t like anything 100%. It was just an average hotel nothing fancy I wish they could have done more with the continental breakfast I did get a muffin and it was gooey and moist as in wet so I got it back to the room. I just tossed it.

Someone was playing music will loud and one of the staff members knocked on their door and politely asked them to turn it down it was too loud for the rest of the customers. I thought that was great The breakfast looks good but I had to rush out. I always like having coffee before I do anything else and wish there would have been a coffee pot in the room.

Good travel stop. Even a small outdoor pool. No trees or shade. Room for us, very clean. Fridge and microwave. No coffee makers. Staff helpful. Coffee regular only. No decaf. Breakfast waffle maker, cereal, bagels muffins. No eggs. All about right for the price in this area.

I would not even pull in the parking lot. Terrible area, homeless everywhere, addicts, it was awful, I didn’t even feel safe at the red light.

This is an old run down property adjacent to the interstate in a run down area, the parking lot did not seem to be very secure. Wouldn’t stay here again, especially considering the rate.

Mostly quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Shower could have been cleaned prior. Night clerk was very attentive and helpful. Price was reasonable.

Only a one night stay for spring training, baseball good location to the Goodyear ballpark your breakfast is rather minimal, but it is something to eat in the morning and some coffee. But right in the same parking lot is blackbear diner had an excellent breakfast there.

This Suoer 8 is a very solid 2 star property. If you’re in town for business for a few days or just need a place to stop overnight , this property is very well priced and clean. Don’t expect a 5 star property and you won’t be disappointed. I’d definitely stay again.

Also the outside was dated and needed a serious paint job or something.

Front desk staff was amazing. There was a huge saggy wet spot in the ceiling and the housekeeping staff was SUPER loud in the mornings.

Room was terrible. It looked like whenever it is not rented they work on it. There was a lot of evidence of that. I'm really surprised that Wyndham has its reputable name associated with this motel. The staff was great and helpful but the room I was in was terrible and WAY overpriced for what I got. I would say a fair price would have been $50.00 per night, max. It was a horrible experience! Bathtub was chipped and looked like it was being patched up. Bathtub drain didn't work properly. It had a very tiny bathroom.

The weekend worker was not really helpful at all. The regular worker was. The room was small and the mini fridge made noise all night long. Ok for a quick stay. A few days at that. There are plenty of other places to check out.

This property was recently renovated from our visit last year. We were looking for the same simple value motel. Yet we received much much more. The upgrades and work put into the motel was very well done. We thought all aspects of the stay were top notch and excellent. We will definitely plan on this property again for our future.

Rough area by the noisy Interstate

Everything was gross. The hotel should honestly be condemned burned to the ground and rebuilt with different owners.

The room was dirty and unkept. Wouldn't even sleep on the sheets. Slept on top of the bed, which I fear may have been worse. Will not stay again.

We immediately turned around and left the facility after checking in. The hallway and room were not clean, wrappers on the ground inside the room, smelled of rotten food and dingy. We have contacted the hotel for a refund as we were forced to immediately leave and find another accommodation late at night. There was no attendant at the desk after we checked in.

Shower curtains do not block water from leaking out of the shower and onto the floor. This has also caused water damage to the wall.

Otherwise location, amenities and surrounding areas are good. Food in walking distance. TONS of parking. Basic coffee, juice and waffles in the morning. On the other hand the gal that checked me in during the late afternoon was very friendly, I appreciated her calling to let me know they could accommodate a late check out. Room was a decent price for what I felt like was last minute booking as well as it being a holiday weekend (Valentine’s).

The surrounding area is bad and not safe. In addition, they should not claim that there’s a breakfast. Only waffle without eggs or any other protein. The other food is two types of cereal and whole milk. Not everyone drinks whole milk

The toilet bowl looked dingy. Had dark scrapes around the inside of bowl, and maybe staining? Looked like will do. Also, found a smaller to medium roach inside the tub, killed it instantly and made sure all of my luggage and bags were tightly sealed with grossed out by that.

The room felt very neglected. It's an older property that seems like the owner is putting off renovations as long as possible. Nothing seems new. They did a fantastic job of taking pictures that make the property look much better than it is. Lots of water damage in the bathrooms. Breakfast was ok. The TV selection was pretty good though. There's no way this is an 8.0/10 property.

Shower didn’t drain, blow dryer started smoking and then burned out, sink smelled like sulfur (aka sewage), waffle batter maker knob broke and leaked batter out all over us and the front desk lady was super rude and accused us of breaking it. Hallways wreaked of weed and incense. Refrigerator knob was broken so we couldn't make it colder than luke warm, blankets were thin. Overall horrible.

My roim was super clean , but what I loved most was the breakfast options , I've been in another places that offer breakfast but is only a coffee and a biscuit.

Room was very clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good but limited. The toilet was loose and rocked when you sat on it. But for what I needed it was a nice place to stay.

Breakfast was just enough to get us up and on the road. Facility is non smoking but still had a lingering smell. It's probably the traveling residents that bring it with them.

I had a good experience. I love the ample parking and well lighted parking lot. I didn't get housekeeping services because they were short staffed but they did offer to bring clean linens. I would stay again. The only suggestion is to have friendly staff.

This is a very unique super 8. It has good managers and housekeeping is awesome. They have a delicious breakfast every morning and its also pet friendly!

Hotel not updated,a little dirty,still smells like smoke and Marijuana,but the staff is friendly especially in the front desk,will not recommend to family or friends but its in a convenient area and i would stay again by myself

There were numerous places inside and outside the room that needed some touch up painting. The TV was fine as was the fridge which had a small freezer. The pool was fine, but definitely needed some cleaning. Access to the Super 8 from the freeway to the north was straight forward, although the signage at the turn into the model could have been a little clearer. If you approach the Super 8 from the south, you must go one block north, make a U turn at the light, and then come south. The parking lot in the back was plenty large enough, but could have used a good sweeping. The breakfast is slightly more than continental. There is a choice of two juices, two cereals, bagels, waffles that you make yourself...but nothing fancy. One of the four nights we stayed, it was a bit noisy, but otherwise, fine. Including all fees, I paid ~$110 a night. Check-in was straight forward. The $100 extra fee, which is refundable can be charged to your credit card or paid in cash.

Usually stay at high-end resorts by Wyndham. Never stayed at a super eight. But the beds were super comfy and the sheets and towels were really soft. Breakfast was great and the people were very nice.

The ratings on this app for this hotel were totally wrong! This hotel rooms was falling apart. Mold on bathroom ceiling, bath tub was pealing, floors and walls were filthy. The bed sheets appeared to be clean but the bed was literally as hard as a rock. If we had not arrived in the middle of the night, we would have left and found another place

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable , some cracks and holes in wall and flooring areas needed minor easily repairable that would have made the place better visually to the eyes. But overall for the price was fine.

There was a leak somewhere while we were there and the water was shut off. It was pretty inconvenient as we were there to play softball and had limited time to shower so being without sucked. Rooms were small and you could see there was an attempt to update. There was definitely an old and musty smell throughout the hotel, but we got used to it. Breakfast was okay. Pretty basic, would have been nice if they had of switched up the cereal or fruit for those longer stays. Pool was basic but omg was it ever cold. Overall it was a decent stay. Most of the staff was super friendly. Way cheaper than any other hotel in the area so can’t complain.

This was one of the best Super 8s we have stayed at.

There were no table and chairs in this room, just a big empty place for that. No racks to put our suitcases on. We put them on the floor. Not enough room in the breakfast area to sit. Building is run-down. No elevator.

I had a 4 night stay. Room was quiet. Room 222 needs bathtub attention as there is a crack in the bottom near the back of the tub. Toilets seemed a little low. Hair dryer was broken, heat came on but no airflow. A new one was brought and plugged in, but the old one was left connected to the wall, a mess of cords. The woman who checked me in was very pleasant and helped me with iron and board.

Our entire family enjoyed our stay here. Very Courteous and friendly. We would stay here again if the opportunity was given.

I stayed one night and found a roach in the bathroom, when I brought it up to the front desk, they told me "we'll get it sprayed". I even emailed the manager and she was no help at all, here is their response: "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please rest assured that this will be taken care of immediately. We thank you for staying with us and wish you the safest of travels ahead." NOT even an apology or anything!! Stay away from this hotel!!

Had one chair in room with lots of unused space for a desk and second chair, and there were two of us occupying the room. A good 1/4 of room was vacant. Complete misuse of valuable space or went cheap not wanting to pay for table and extra chair.

The property needs to be updated. The halls had an unpleasant smell. We ran out of toilet paper on the first day because the one in the room wasn’t new. The location of the hotel was the only thing that is convenient.

The refrig was not working, they never showed up to repair/replace it

Bedding was good. AC worked and was relatively quiet. Lots of room for parking (including large trucks). Quiet. However, It was time for bathroom deep clean and maintenance.

Property is on the older side and could use some renovations but they had an available room. Lady at the front desk at check-in time was pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was an older hotel and not very well maintained. The room was clean but not updated. There was only one office chair to sit in. One small luggage holder so no place to put bags except the floor.

The hotel was perfect for the price. Due to spring training in AZ, other hotels in the area were $100 or more a night than here. The staff were super friendly, Dean checked me in and found me a bottom floor room. Christian, the next day, gave me a later check out and was super helpful. The too. Was clean and basic, quiet rooms, could not hear anything through the walls, like other hotels. The breakfast was basic and filling. They serve coffee all day and it is fresh and good!

Very nice hotel and workers are so nice I forgot a couple items in my room at check out didn’t realize until I got home and unpacked the front desk from dean christian and the general manager (forgot her name) were so extraordinary in helping me truly went out of their way to help me I am so grateful to them and commend them on their honesty Again truly thankful!!

I stayed here for a music festival and thought the hotel was nice. You need your room keycard to enter the doors on the outside that has access to all the rooms which I liked. Unless you go through the lobby but someone is always at the front desk which is nice. The surrounding of the hotel is quiet although there’s a McDonald’s that is in the parking lot right next to the hotel so it’s walking distance and a Waffle House in the same parking lot so it’s like a 2 minute walk to both there’s no noise or anything from either. The hotel is the right distance from the Waffle House and McDonald’s it’s an easy walk but a tiny bit of distance to seperate them from each other. The room was clean and for the most part the staff was friendly. On the last night of my stay we were thinking about staying another day and wanted to know the rate of it and when I went to the front desk to ask the staff member was a bit mean and said that the hotel wasn’t offering late check out or extension on stays if your checkout was for New Year’s Day since so many people were asking to extend their stay. I’m not sure as to why it wasn’t allowed but the staff member could’ve approached me differently since I approached them kindly and was simply asking a question. But I would keep that in mind if your check out would fall on a holiday they might deny a late check out or extension of your stay.

It was ok. Needed to stay 2 nights but my husband surgery was canceled last minute and they were kind enough to refund the second night.

The hotel was adequate for my use but the bathroom was not handicap accessible especially the shower. I spent three nights at this hotel and the bathtub had no grip bars and I was worried about falling each time I took a shower.
