I was actually pretty impressed with how clean and well maintained the room was. There is a lot of construction going on around that hotel and area so everything looks a bit of a mess. But the hotel lobby rooms , and every part of the hotel I saw were clean and orderly. You can tell whoever runs the place actually takes pride in their work.

Disappointing

Sleep was a plus and the fact that it was close to my job location. My tv was turned on you could hear what was going on but no picture. I reported it twice to no avail. It was a real problem but it was something I noticed. I just wished that if the quest stayed longer there would have been a greater deduction on the room. So because they are not willing to work with a well satisfied quest it's best I move to another location and juggle the ups and downs moving forward. Housekeeping was very friendly The longer a quest stays should be taken into consideration in the deduction it would keep the quest here longer than anticipated. But I will try others nearby giving them the equal financial support deserved at this point moving forward

My experience staying at the Days inn was the most pleasant stay ever. From the front counter with Ms Maggie she was very prompt nice and gracious. And the staff attendant were great as well. I will definitely refer this establishment when some of my Military soldiers friends and family when they come in town. Thank you for your services

They said breakfast was included but all the provided was cereal. The room smelled like mold, the carpets were sticky and I was so disappointed about the breakfast because we stayed there for four days. The bed is comfortable.

Clean, but very low frills facility. Mattresses were very soft and unsupporting causing back aches. Breakfast offerings consisted mostly of toast, bran cereal, juice, and coffee. The neighborhood has alot of homeless people around it. The motel provided less than I had hoped for. Air conditioning worked great though.

Location location location......The room was clean and very spacious along with a comfortable clean bed. The property was clean. No one was hanging outside. I felt safe , and for feeling safe help me to relax. To the staffs I thank you for being very patient understanding friendly and greeted me with a smile I felt welcome. This place was dirty, walls were super thin, phone was not working, staff wasn’t friendly. Because the walls were so thin in the next room the person was either coughing or god knows what but they kept us up all night. My daughter had to get up at 3 to bang on their door and tell them to shut up. I couldn’t call down to the desk because the phone wasn’t working . Just a terrible experience for $120 dollars

Basic for the price. It is on a road that gets traffic noise. Cereal, pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage, toast and muffins for breakfast 6-9.Not bad but we were there at 8 and they did not refill anything. No fruit Loops in the big huge container and barely andy eggs left. Rooms updated but bathroom door did not shut and couple holes in the sheets. You may have dogs for an additional $20 each per day, however there is NO grass for them to go potty only gravel/rocks. The gravel parking overflow area was filthy with trash all over the ground, half eaten food, drink cans and lots of cigarette butts everywhere.

Very very basic! Mattress pad was torn and would not stay on bed. “Clean” sheets had blood on them. Had to ask for sheets, towels, wash clothes. Bed itself was so worn, we felt like the mattress was swallowing us up. Very basic. I have been in worse, but I certainly have been in better. The price is not what you see on their web page, said it was higher because we went through a third party app. Like what does that matter? We were charged an additional charge for having our seven pound dog, which was not found anywhere on their website. Again told was because we went through a third party app. If you are looking for a clean place it was okay. But no amenities at all. The only thing good I would say is they had a decent price on the cold cola drinks. When you see the name online

The breakfast buffet was nasty. Gross eggs, coffee that tasted awful, and a fly landed in my juice. It was expensive, too. Double what I would have wanted to pay for the low quality. And very difficult to get in and out of the parking lot because of the traffic patterns and so much traffic!

These are not like the pictures. It was spacious that was nice the patches in the wall especially where the outlet beside the bed was suspect at the least you slightly push in and the power cuts off. The bathroom door was literally 1/4 duct tape and painted over to match the door there was no extra lock at the top to prevent just a keycard from getting in. The floor looked like it hadn’t been swept or vacuumed in months. The shower did have hot water and good pressure and the ac worked. Not located in the best part of town but not the absolute worst either walls cielings are stupid thin and you can feel the vibrations of people from the bottom floor and the sides of you. The fridge did work and it had good WiFi. Not well built or maintained at all.

Stayed one night. It was close to our venue for the evening. We were able to have our Chihuahua. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable.

We recommend this hotel to anyone, that wants a great place to stay. It is 25/30 mins away from the beach. However, we found that to be neat because; We truly got to see more of Charleston and surrounding areas . Every trip in/out was a new adventure. The beds were very comfortable. The place was very clean. We did have a broken shower knob, and a non working hairdryer. We told the front desk and they immediately fixed the problem.. Great stay especially for the price. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

It was clean enough for a one night stay but I wouldn’t stay here again. The breakfast was super basic so don’t be expecting too much. It was definitely dated. The coffee shop up the road was good though.

Overall my stay was 2.5-3. My room appeared clean but so many items in my room was either broken or not working.

First room I could not lock the door. Second room I had to place a towel to fill in space between the door and the floor. The pictures was not what the room was however the bed was comfortable. I feel that because we booked through Expedia we were given the poorest room available. This place was a 2.5 at best.

The photos in the advertisement are very well done, but they don't reflect the reality of the place. I'm used to sleeping in hotels, but the hotel room smelled so bad that I couldn't sleep. The bathroom was deplorably clean; there was even phlegm on the wall. There was hair on one of the beds. I asked the receptionist to change rooms, but the one we saw was in the same condition. The smell in the room is awful.

We got in late and just wanted to relax after driving a very long day. We went to pull in parking lot space and stepped out of car and it was like a lake water up over shoes. Finally get in room and into bed to prepare for another long day. TV did not work. Thus was very distressing it may nit seem like much but it put a bad spin on very long day thank you

The facilities are okay. However, there was a cockroach in the bathroom, the soundproofing is terrible — I spent the entire night hearing the room next door — and at breakfast the milk was sour and the pancake machine was broken.

I have stayed here many times and am always pleased with the rooms and the staff.

The staff goes out of their way to meet the needs of the guests and insures a safe and pleasant stay.

The room was old and dated looking, could use a new tub, but it was fine for a night or 2 if you just need a place to sleep. Convenient location with nearby stores and restaurants.

Rooms need sever maintenance. It was staying in a low budget Vegas motel. People partying on the balconies drinking and and smoking, playing loud music. It felt unsafe. Cigarette butts all over the balcony and stairs. I would not stay there again.

The bathroom was filthy, covered in mold, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. I honestly felt dirty just being there. My children and I were supposed to stay for two nights, but after one miserable night, I packed up and left. No family—especially with kids—should ever have to stay in a cesspool of germs like this. Management should be ashamed. Zero stars. Do not recommend.

This is the last time I book with Expedia! This property is very dirty, rundown, NOTHING like the reviews. Smells of skunk/pot, one towel in the bathroom, just gross! The breakfast was white/wheat toast, muffin, coffee. Must have a tin of fake reviews because this was not worth the money I spent. I felt unsafe in the location—in a separate building in the back of the hotel, there were cars with people sleeping in them and at one point at 2 in the morning my door handle was being turned. The door opened to an outside location not hallway. No more Expedia business from me!!

I reserved my room through Expedia weeks before arriving. When I did, the gentleman checking me in had me swipe my credit card (I assumed for incidentals), and I repeated that I reserved with Expedia and was already charged for the room to make sure. The following morning I I checked my account and saw that I was charged for my room a second time. The room smelled pretty musty, and I saw mold and dirt in multiple places. My key card also stopped working at one point for some reason. Overall, it was a cheap room, but not as nice as the pictures on the site. My overcharge was remedied, but the refund took a couple days. Not ideal when traveling! The area is not very walkable either; sidewalks on both sides of this busy road were closed off.

I did not like that didn’t have any towels or rags to wash and dry with and no hot water only cold. There was bugs on the bed literally that you could see with your own eyes and I took pictures of everything in the roo

The service was decent. The staff was friendly. The room, while clean and put together, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, paint was peeling off the door and frame, and the hair dryer didn't work. I say only decent for service, because when we brought the issues to their attention, we were told to talk to the manager who wasn't there and wouldn't be there for hours. Nobody with the authority to do anything was available.

I payed for a king size bed for me and my husband but once I arrived they give me to queen beds it was ok but not what I payed for staff is nice check in is a breeze rooms could use a little more attention and the guys outside partying until God knows when on a Sunday

They have been doing some repaving along Red Bank Road. The work was not well done. The plantings and signs marking the entrance to the hotel drive make it almost impossible to see oncoming traffic.

Lots of per diem workers at this hotel. Limited parking in the evening but place empties out during the day. Also lots of noise at night and stacks of beer cans/bottles outside the room doors in the morning. Clean and serviceable for the most part. Had very little contact with staff. If you just need a place to stay it was decent but nothing special. Served it's purpose on our visit but wouldn't likely stay again. Plus is NNPTC gate is a stones throw away.

It was ok. Better than most hotels. Great for the price. The only complaint is people don’t respect late hours of night. Wayyy too much noise at 1am-5am. I Can understand some noise but music and tv noise and people talking was just WAY TO LOUD. So light sleepers don’t come here

Bed was comfortably. Had basics. Shower did not work. No water pressure. Hardly no food for free breakfast. Toast, muffin, cereal and mini pancakes.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Don't expect anything pretty here. There was a spot in the carpet where it had been cut out and replaced but done very sloppily. The caulk around the sink area was clearly done by a blind man. The breakfast may be the worst I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel is the closest to the Navy base so I might stay here again for that purpose but otherwise I might look for another hotel.

Traveling with a trailer for work, had ample space for parking! Right off of a main road, but was still quiet. Room was clean & comfortable, staff was professional yet friendly, while breakfast was limited in options it was more options than we've seen for a couple months now.

The property definitely did not match the pictures of the facility. I never rent a hotel room that has carpet and based on the pictures, the floors should not have been carpet. Our room was carpet. The people running the hotel were very nice and as soon as we reported that we did not have hot water, they moved us.

Everything in the room looked like it had been chewed up, there was a booger on the bed. I got back and I was locked out of my room one day due to them deactivating my card for some odd reason and my dog was in the room locked in her kennel. They tried to tell me that they didn’t clean the room while I was there because my dog was in the room running around, but she was in a kennel the entire time I was gone, and can’t let her self out so they lied to my face, They have a pet fee, but they don’t fix any of the damages that recent pets have caused so I’m not really sure what the pet fee is for. Every time I took a shower I would have to call the front desk for them to tell me that if I came to the front they would give me a towel but then the doors would be locked and I have to sit outside and wait for someone to see me right after calling, they said that they couldn’t come in my room because of the dog but for some reason the trash bag was gone I just didn’t get towels or new sheets and covers. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

My second time staying at this hotel. Its location is great when visiting family in the area of goose creek, charleston or the naval base. Good services and ammenities. Bed, bath and location are all great. Very friendly services, breakfast isnt bad.

Unfortunately, my stay was unsatisfactory due to the fact that there was a roach on the bed while my wife and I were lying on it.

As soon as I stepped foot into the hotel room all you could was mold. The carpet was damp and they had a moisture bag hanging in the hotel room. The bathroom has some serious issues they need to attend to. The staff obviously know of the mold problem and should not be renting the room out. It can cause some serious medical issues for someone.

They were doing road const when we stayed but we didn’t hear them in the room, rooms were clean and people working there was friendly. The only part was the back where there was a big area and looked like workers stayed there or something, they didn’t bother us and we didn’t bother them. All in all a good place to stay

I didn't stay at the hotel. My son and his family occupied the room. My son was not happy with the room. I believe they were not happy because they usually stay in their timeshare space, but this reservation was last minute.

The only thing I can say negatively is that the rug could use a good shampooing. I had on new white socks and the only place I walked was from the chair to the bathroom and back a couple of times and my socks were dirty! Everything else was great for us -- quiet and comfortable.
