Enjoyed staying at this hotel. Lovely property. It has a dark, moody vibe in the lobby and rooms. I was pleasantly surprised the coffee shop and restaurant were beauiful, creams and white, great atmosphere, great food, good service!

The staff was extremely pleasant and professional. We were greeted warmly! The room was not as clean it should be. The curtains had stains on them.

Great stay for our wedding night. The food in print works was great as well!

We had dinner at the Printworks Bistro Bar and as I remembered it from 3 years ago...excellent staff, ambiance and food...Trout for me and a beef bourguignon for my husband...truly amazing. Also, the breakfast of duck confit hash was great! Thanks to everyone for making our layover for our trip back north memorable.

Such a great place and close to literally everything - hence the name! Loved that they give you a glass water carafe to refill for your room - filtered water machine on every floor! Loved the rooms and beautiful ambiance hotel.

This establishment is the best in the city. Me and my family enjoy it so much, it’s our third time staying there. I hope to soon do a honeymoon weekend that they offer.

Cozy beds, clean rooms, very nice front desk staff and manager. The room had a nice view. I wish they had regular coffee makers instead of boiling your own coffee. It just doesn't taste as good. It could be the brand coffee though. Room service quality depends on who is working.

The Proximity was an amazing hotel. The staff were super friendly. The atmosphere was very nice. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We requested a late check in and the staff at the reception desk was ready to great us and check us in upon arrival at midnight. The restaurant was great, food was delicious and the waitstaff very friendly and professional. We had breakfast and dinner there. Our room was spacious and we appreciated the amenities offered in the shared living space outside the room. No complaints!

Parking was a challenge Saturday evening. There was an event at the location.

This hotel was next level! It was beautiful, well kept, and extremely clean. The staff were so so professional and so nice. We will absolutely be back whenever we are in the area. This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed!

Proximity was absolutely amazing. Definitely a different atmosphere of a hotel. Very beautiful. Upon entering, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and they’re set up and decoration with something that I was very pleasantly happy with.

Staff friendly, hotel clean and stylish. Sleeping rooms very clean, beds comfortable, beautiful bathroom, nice having 2 sinks. Bistro charming atmosphere, food delicious, prices reasonable.

I had a corner room and the hotel was exceptional, per usual. Easy parking. Friendly hotel staff. Only issue was it was a solo trip, and I had planned on being lazy but the tv was barley connect to the remote so that made it difficult. But I did like the Bluetooth speaker

Second time my husband and I had a weekend getaway here and it was great. The room was spacious and the bathroom with the wet room was amazing. Everyone there is super kind and polite and goes out of their way to make your stay a good one. I hope we’ll go back next year!

The room was a perfect size and very clean! The toilet paper and soap sucked so bad, but the room was nice. But to spend so much money in this hotel please get better toilet paper & bathroom soaps!!

Nice hotel but lacks amenities and when ordering room service the food is delivered cold. I ordered room service on 3 separate days, the food tasted good but was not hot. I recommend eating at the restaurant. The exercise room is small and smelled like feet. There are no indoor pools or hot tubs. When I checked in, they did not mention complimentary coffee in the lobby from 7-10 am and I did not find out until checking out. I would have enjoyed that had I known. We stayed on the 8th floor and the sunrise was amazing with grand picture window. A maid attempted to open the door as I was getting out of the shower, luckily I was able to close it before they entered the room. The jest is a nice hotel but the experience less than anticipated. We stayed a week over New Years and they did a New Year’s Eve special with a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board but we could not get that because we booked through Expedia and not direct. It was disappointing because a week there did not negate that according to the front desk.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The staff was courteous and accommodating. The rooms are spotless and well designed.

Staff and rooms clean

This hotel was extremely overpriced for the experience and far below expectations. I had a completely restless night due to thin walls and being placed next to the stairwell, where the door slammed open and shut constantly; after being moved at midnight, the second room near the elevator was just as noisy. I did not get any sleep at all, and for the price paid, this level of discomfort is unacceptable.

Hotel is excellent but did not have hot water! Cool showers are not good. They did offer to come fix it at 11pm, but I said no, was even colder in the morning—my son stayed there the next night and had cold water too!

The rooms are uniquely sophisticated and common areas are stunning. Service at every level is impeccable facilities are unforgettable. We had a minor hot water issue during our stay, but we are still coming back for more, more, more at this great property. Kudos to Kayla at Print Works Bistro, Jerry at check-in, Maddox at check-out and Stephen for everything else!

Great experience from check in to evening meal, room facilities, gym and can’t forget the amazing breakfast before a pleasant check out. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

We had a great corner room. Staff was warm, welcoming, and friendly. We ate at Lucky 32 and Print Works Bistro…both were fabulous meals!

I stayed here the night before my wedding. It was very comfortable and i really enjoyed the large tub. It does need more afforable food and snack options, though.

The rooms are spacious with beautiful views of weeping willows and meadows within this part of the city, and the floors and walls are solid with so little sound bleed through that the quiet really takes me by pleasant surprise. The Proximity is in an ideal location in Greensboro, NC. Close to Friendly shopping center where there is a Whole Foods and local shops. The service received at the property was lovely and we were assured we were in good hands. From the hotel porters to the front desk staff everyone displayed quality customer service. The hotel is positioned in a quiet area so I was able to get optimal amount of sleep. We will be back in the future.

This may be the nicest hotel in North Carolina. Incredible rooms, the Bistro's food was 5 Star... staff anticipatory and friendly and efficient. One of nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

We loved our stay here. We were visiting family for a couple days and it was the closest option. The facilities are beautiful. We noticed that some of the design features really make your stay relaxing and comfortable. The colors and the lighting and furniture are designed well and we would definitely stay there again.

Proximity provides luxury accommodations and public spaces, an exceptional dining experience, with staff providing excellent service in all areas. A wonderful place for a bit of romance! All this provided at a 2 star rate. Not a stuffy hotel either. Unbelievable!! Anyone visiting Greensboro, NC must experience this hotel. While it is not located in downtown proper, it is worth at the very least, one night. Hope to return.

I had a great stay at the Proximity Hotel. It's on the pricier side, but well worth it, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.

Not sure what happened but this just wasn't a good stay. Not sure if they have changed hands but room was of need of repairs, spa tub did not work, barley any hot water. The bed felt like a basic spring mattress when at one point the beds at this hotel were amazing.

I had an amazing stay at this property while I was in town for a graduation. The room was spotless and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the convenience of having both a restaurant and a bar right on the premises. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the entire hotel had a classy, welcoming atmosphere. Plus, it was just a short 12-minute drive from the airport, making it really convenient. I will definitely be returning to this hotel on my next visit!

It was a beautiful stay. Accommodations were great and staff was friendly. Love the ambiance and atmosphere.

The restaurant here is absolutely worth the stay. The food was amazing and the outdoor sitting/lounge area was fantastic. Overall, the hotel is very dimly lit and fairly dark. Everyone was very friendly and it was a great place to stay, but I think I would probably opt for a brighter hotel next time.

The overall stay was great, however beds need an update as these mattresses felt like they were 20 years old. Bathtub/shower would not drain. Just some housekeeping items for the perfect stay!

The Proximity Hotel exceeded our expectations all-around. We definitely will stay here again when back in Greensboro. The property is gorgeous, the attention to details within rooms is above & beyond and we loved the fresh water and ice within the “living rooms” on each floor.

The Proximity always feels like coming home again. It’s beautiful, warm and welcoming. The rooms are super comfortable and efficient. The staff was nice enough to let me have an early check in even though I was planning to work in the lobby until check in time. The lobby has Nespresso lattes in the morning. And we love being able to walk to PrintWorks Bistro without even stepping outside. The best!

We had a great stay at The Proximity Hotel. My son loved the cab out front. It was quiet and relaxing.

We often use this hotel as our weekend getaway because we are always taken care of! I really wish there was live music in the lobby or a small bar to take advantage of the beautiful atomosphere. We will be back and thank you again!
