    Nice short stay. Room and common area were clean. Continental breakfast was decent and a good variety. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and stores. Staff was nice and friendly. Would stay here again. Only recommendation to the hotel is to upgrade thier cable package lol.

    Breakfast was good, plenty of options and the room was comfortable. Found hair in the sheets and the pool was not clean. Asked for bedding for the pull out and it never came had to go to the front desk to get it and there was no one there so had to wait for someone to show.

    I was moved 2 different times because the room was dirty . The air conditioning didn’t work in one of them rooms . The managers had terrible customer services and was not helpful at all . I was not giving back my full deposit and I was inconvenienced the whole time I stayed . Overall I had a horrible experience. Won’t be staying at that location no more .

    Great stay! Don’t think I have stayed at a Wyndam but all the reviews showed so positive and Was very pleased with everything. the check in smooth. Nesto greeted and described everything about the hotel before I asked. We spent 2 days at the property and each morning we were greeted. Breakfast area was clean and maintained and at check out LaDonna was nice enough to sign me up the reward program. Thanks we will be back if we are in the area again.

    The hotel is very clean and nice. The beds are comfortable and room is very clean. The front desk manager was great. My card was on hold by the bank and he was very kind and patient while I called the bank.

    Good value overall. Competitive price and decent quality. Constructive criticism would be breakfast quality/variety and places of dingy upkeep. No change in breakfast options daily and limited choices. Adequate but could be better with minimal effort. I had a maintenance item with the shower and it could not be repaired within the 3 nights we stayed.

    The room was clean, but the bathroom had an awful sewage like smell and the tub is very outdated and needs to be replaced. You an see sloppy repairs. I also had a problem with my tv and had the guy from front try to troubleshoot. He tried, it did not work but he left no solutions. The breakfast ended kind of early 9:30, so don't sleep in or you will miss it. But the staff was great.

    Great place to stay. Friendly staff clean property when I first checked in I realized I lost my credit card here. It was back at the airport. I got a call from the airport and said my card was there. The airport was 11 miles away. I took an Uber to the hotel. Got there. Realize my credit card was missing the owner of the hotel. Heard my conversation while I was on the phone with the lady at the airport saying she had my card. The owner of the hotel said no worries. I will go to the airport and get your card and bring it back here for you. I absolutely cannot believe it that this gentleman the owner of the hotel did that kind act for me. If you’re looking for a nice convenient hotel book the Wingate.

    had a mixed experience here. While the bedroom was great and the staff were exceptionally helpful, some details were lacking. The fitted sheet was on inside-out, the gym was the smallest I’ve ever seen, and the pool wasn't filled during my stay. Additionally, the bathroom was a bit run down and lacked an exhaust fan. It’s a decent stay, but the amenities could use some attention

    The only thing I liked about this place was the fact that there was a coffee maker and microwave in the room. While the lobby of the hotel was maintained, the rooms were not. In my room there were obvious leaks in the ceiling, a crack in the ceiling that ran from one side of the room to the other, the drawers in the furniture would not stay closed, the bathtub would not drain unless you held the button down, and it was passed time to replace the bed. The side door was broken, so anyone could get into the building. This hotel is not worth the cost. Spend a few more dollars.

    Terrible experience at this location while on family trip. I find it hard to understand how although having booked a reservation prior to arrival, I was told the hotel was completely “full” and we could not get a room. To make matters worse, staff was barely helpful and could only blame the booking app. Hoping no one EVER has to go through this.

    When you check in prepare to devote at least an hour to that process due to incompetence of the staff. ALSO, WHEN THEY TAKE YOUR "DEPOSIT" PREPARE FOR THAT CHARGE TO STAY AGAINST YOUR ACCOUNT FOR 5 BUSINESS DAYS. So don't count the weekend. They will hold your money, blame it on your bank, not tell you when you check in and in this case be very rude about it "You ready to put that deposit on your card?" Not, "we require a $100 deposit to cover any damages or incidentals that may occur during your stay, keep in mind this charge will appear on your account and stay

    Items I noted to be lacking: the toilet is way low, and for my husband who is a disabled veteran, way too low. When registering, we indicated that we would be arriving w 2 Kids who were going to be sleeping on the sleeper sofa. When we arrived there was no extra bedding in the room to accommodate for the children, nor were there enough towels, etc for 4 guests. Breakfast was as we expected but the lay out of the buffet did not flow well at all.

    I tried to cancel my one night stay at this hotel and get a refund after someone was shot there the night before and I no longer felt safe staying there. Expedia tried their best to get me a refund but the hotel denied it. Not to mention, there was an ice storm that night so I couldn't have made it there even if someone wasn't shot in the area the night before. I'm disappointed in the response, or lack thereof from the hotel. But I am grateful for the Expedia staff for trying to help me out. I will not be booking at this hotel or any hotel like it again.

    The staffs are friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms are nice and clean. But a lot of the problems with room facilities. First room, the show is broken, then we are transferred to another room.which the table light doesn't work. The clock is not adjusted to the right time.

    I was told I was someone who has been kicked out of other properties and that I could be kicked out of there as well if I didn’t follow policy.. When I’ve haven’t stayed at that property or any of the chains properties in the area in over 15 years.. My room also was given to someone else with a similar name and I feel was trying to cover it up.. I ended up checking out within the hour.. I was their trying to check in for atleast 30 mins..

    The bed was uncomfortable and I woke up with back pain, and when I would sit on it, it made a noise. The shower curtain was not wide enough to keep the water from splashing out of the shower. It was not great but we only stayed overnight. I could not last more than one day. The property needs updating.

    Then the next morning, things got worse. Before I was even fully awake, maintenance had to come fix and replace the key tap/door lock system because it was malfunctioning and I couldn’t get into the room. This was already frustrating first thing in the morning. Not long after that, around 9:30 AM, the general manager called my room phone, waking me up, telling me I needed to come downstairs to show my ID and provide my email — information I had already given at check-in. I was confused and irritated, especially because I struggle with insomnia and didn’t fall asleep until around 5 AM. Being woken up like that after finally getting rest really affected me. Plus, I had a two-hour drive home, so I needed that sleep. Overall, the morning felt chaotic and unprofessional, and I didn’t feel considered as a guest. These issues definitely impacted my stay.

    Hotel was great. We had a sudden medical emergency. Ee had two rooms booked. We only used one room because of the medical emergency. I tried calling Expedia many times to see if a could get a refund. I finally talked with someone on the phone. I was charged another $1500.00 to receive a full refund. I was scammed. Because of this i do not want to do any business with a credit card on phone or computer. It is impossible to get good customer service anymore. Thanking you, AE Kendrick.

    Booked into a room where the bathroom had been torn to shreds by a dog. Bathroom door had a huge hole— the entire lower portion has been chewed away. Shower curtain rod broken so it would not keep water in the tub. Shower wall cracked. Roach in the bathroom. My friend’s car stolen from the parking lot overnight. Staff assigned to monitor the security cameras said they did not notice anything.

    The staff service was great . The rooms need upgrading, it had a musky order , bed linen and towels were dingy . For the price we had to pay for the room , we shouldn’t have had to spray to not smell the mold or whatever it was . Although it looked clean , it didn’t feel clean . I wouldn’t stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

    The property could use some updates. The first room we stayed in had mold on the ceiling tile in the bathroom. There is no shuttle to use to be dropped off at the airport or local businesses such as restaurants in the area. The biggest inconvenience is the homeless people encampment directly outside the hotel in the back. The last night staying at the property, my husband and I brought to a staff member's attention that the homeless people behind the hotel were laughing and talking loudly while we were in bed. This was at 2:07 a.m. I requested to be moved. The staff member ststed that she'd call me back after she'd consulted with a manager to get approved for us to be moved to another room. I did not receive a call back. At 2;23 a.m. I called the front desk a second time. I was asked by the original staff member to come to the front desk as she was making keys for a different room. I hung up with the staff member and went to the front desk. After several minutes of waiting, the staff member at some point indicated there were no other room to put us in. I was very upset and asked why she told me she was making keys and had asked me to come to the front desk. The staff member was very unprofessional and insincere with a half hearted apology. She pretended to be more concerned when husband joined me at the front desk to see why it was taking so long for me to return. She put us another room.

    The location was good close to shopping and restaurants as well close to the venue that was attending. However the building had a old musty smell when you first walked in the building. Also the room had the same musty smell. And on our second stay we were awakened from a loud noise coming from across the street at another hotel, as there was a police raid going on at the hotel. Heard it was a drug raid in progress, so definitely didn’t feel safe. And last but leas, saw a Roach in the room by the Microwave the day of checking out. So glad we were leaving or I probably wouldn’t stayed through the visit. This area and hotel needs a lots of improvement.

    Breakfast was great! Manager was not great. First off he wanted to give me a hard time about a $50 deposit and having to make another $50 deposit when I extended my stay he wanted to credit the $50 back and charge me another $50 at the same time which I did not understand why it was necessary and I complained about it he threatened to have security remove me from the property over that which I thought was a dead extreme and escalated the situation a lot higher than necessary then come time to leave I asked for a late checkout from the hostage the night previous and she put me down for 12:00 p.m. late check out cuz I had an appointment the next day and I know I wouldn't be back by 11:00 I get back about 11:30 11:45 and my wife and children are sitting in the lobby with all of our stuff on the cart because the manager said there was no late checkouts without manager approval.

    Had to book this after a nightmare booking at the Studio 6 across the street. They allowed me to book at midnight.. the girl at the front desk was newer & super sweet & understanding. Breakfast was amazing everyday.. I felt safe.. rooms were clean & maids were sent to the room daily.. night & day difference.

    All front desk staff were exceptional. Two things not cleaned in room that were left on a lower shelf in the bathroom: empty soap wrapper and a used shoe bag. The mattress was phenomenal!

    The ceilings were filled with dirt and mold. The curtains had mold stains and the room smelled damp. By Sunday morning my 2 kids were visibly sick with allergies and i had to go to the front desk to complain. They switched our room to a room they sprayed air Refreshner in to mask something clearly. We didn’t see any mold but my husband spent our last 2 days killing bugs on the sheets, walls, and towels. This was a very stressful stay. We came home and unpacked our suitcases in the backyard just in case anything crawled into our bags.

    I think the window sill could have used a good cleaning as there were a few dead bugs in there. The ceiling was a little streaky not sure if it was from moisture or just needed a good cleaning. Also we were missing a lamp by the couch. Just a few minor touch up and it will be way better.

    The room was great and spacious. It was clean and nice. It is located conveniently. I didn’t like the fact that they didn’t provide a lot of soap. I went out and bought soap so that I could wash my hands and I used the one bar that was provided to bathe with, but other than that it was fine.

    It was overall an amazing stay . I love that this hotel is pet friendly because I was traveling with my mini poodle . I also like that they send text messages to remind us what time is breakfast etc . The price is also very affordable .

    The first room 306 could not cool down below 80 degrees. This was reported to the manager on duty and he agreed that something was wrong. He moved us over to room 324 which was working and comfortable.

    Paint splatters in tub, bathroom door warped and splintered, partially painted door trim; Partially painted wall over window; desk top partially off base; A/C unit extremely loud and inefficient; poor quality paint job overall; mattress was soft and lumpy; on the corner of the property there were several used syringes and trash. The only thing positive was great staff and room was clean

    The breakfast was good although refills of items usually had to be requested. As far as the room is concerned, the phone on room didn't work and the pull bar that I needed in the shower was pulled out of the wall and the tub was extremely slick

    The toilet over flowed, soaking the bathroom floor. We were thankfully moved to another room. However, in the new room, the hot water was not working in the shower. I was assured that I would get a discount, due to these issues happening beyond my control. BUT I’m still waiting…. I’ve never had this type of experience at any hotel franchise. I will be coming to Greensboro often, in need of hotel lodging, as my son is attending NC A & T. I surely hope that Wingate honors my discount, as promised. I would hate to inform all other parents rotating to do visits, to NOT choose Wingate because of what I experienced, without some type of discount…. Best regards, Parent Shonteia Keaton

    The manager and entire team were AMAZING! Upon entrance, I was greeted with smiles and friendly banter that made me feel right at home. I also witnessed a guest having an issue, and the front desk supported and resolved it quickly and efficiently. The issue of cleanliness was primarily in the bathroom (urine and dirt behind the lid of the toilet, dirty bathroom vents/filters, hot hallways, and huge water spots on the ceiling are all property owner issues and are not related to the service of management nor the team who worked diligently to ensure the stay was pleasurable). The team works hard! Overall, good stay and the breakfast bar is better than most hotels.

    The room wasn't ready. The room conditions are not up to par for the price. Door knobs are broken and outdated, the curtain rod is fallen out the wall. The carpets are dirty and stained. The door is broken, the light fallen out the ceiling. We asked for another room and was told to talk to a magnet in the morning no additional rooms are available.

    Was in a good location to the venue we needed for the weekend. My husband fixed the toilet. It would not stop running. I had to defrost the freezer. Found several popsicles in ice the the lower part tray.

    The rooms were nice the bathrooms could of been alot cleaner.The cover on the bed was more like a sheet. The carpet definitely needs cleaning and the breakfast didn't have many options as i have seen in most hotels. Hotel did feel safe with a nice parking area the staff were nice and very professional. Was not warned that they require $100 deposit and they only take a visa or mastercard nothing else when i booked the room

    Over all a clean and orderly place but thaw fact that i was over charged narly triple the original given price for wich the room was booked and that i am still waiting on the refund is what made this stay more than inconvenient, stayed on the phone with hotels.com app and with front desk staff nearly 4 hours total the first day i informed them i had been over charged mostly due to the manager of whom id spoken with twice by phone while at work that day was not available nor able to make contact with once i got in that evening as i was told, then missed over half the next day of working hours to be able to meet and talk face to face with the manager whom not only myself but a female employee of the property who was subjected to a indecent event to say the least while being there alone and had informed the manager who finaly showed up hours later... female staff in that environment should not be left alone or at least not be made to feel as though they are helpless and the manager repeatedly saying he was on the way shows hours later. Completely unprofessional and uncaring of coworker's personal being and mentality of being on the job.

    Property was clean, room was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. However the tub and sink were both backed up and the ac/ heating unit was missing buttons to control to unit. There also was a bad odor that i couldn't identify where it was coming from or what it was. The manager attempted to unclog the drain but was unsuccessful. Not likely to return.

    Had a quick stay to move daughter out of dorm at NCA&T and hotel was good location, clean, safe, and close to campus. Close to walkable food ans coliseum if you need to go there. Plenty of food around hotel to choose from. Great stay!

    Upon entering the hotel it smelled like a skunk. If that weren't bad enough, the room smells like cat urine, esp in the bathroom. The desk clerk, who is very kind and friendly, said pets are allowed on the first floor. He also said the property had just changed hands and they'll be doing a lot of upgrades and hoping to get the animal smells out of the rooms. Not much consolation for us right now having to endure the smell. Thankfully just a one night stay.

    I can not believe that Wyndham would put their name on this property. The rooms were not comfortable. AC was terrible, they had to lock the door at all times due to the drug addicts that are camped out in the bushes. You could not leave anything in your car. I had a homeless person chase one of my young female students through the parking lot. The only decent thing about this stay was the breakfast. Do not recommend if you are bringing young people. Very unsafe. We also had a water line bust in one of our rooms and their fix was to put a towel under it.

    The Water pressure was very low, the bathroom needs to be remodeled. The room stay at 75 when the air was on high down to 64 degrees. The tub needed some TLC, just not a good look for a major brand hotel.

    Front desk staff was friendly, breakfast was good and beds were soft. Pillows were flat, room wasnt cleaned one night and the next night the towels were changed but that was it. So much noise outside the window that woke us up throughout the nights. Bathroom had a terrible layout and wasnt functional.
