The property is your typical cheap motel with low quality fixtures, bedding, towels, paint job, etc. We actually had water leaking from the light above the toilet and when I called the front desk they looked into it immediately. It's a dog friendly hotel but there wasn't really a dog potty area or even a grassy area. Not really in a safe area. Homeless woman with mental health issues was topless and having an episode in the parking lot and that didn't feel safe. Room was fairly spacious and bedding seemed clean. Floor made my feet black. Missed room cleaning one day because I was in the room when they checked but they never came back. Was a decent price if you just need a place to sleep and you're not picky.

The hotel was VERY quiet despite the fact that animals are allowed and other dogs were staying at the hotel at the same time we were, just 2 doors down even. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The temp outside was in the upper 80's the day I checked in. The room was warmer than the air outside. It took quite a while to get it to a comfortable temperature. The stairwell to get to my room was disgustingly dirty. The handrail and doors looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the Bush administration. Just nasty. The doors from the lobby to the hotel were "broken" so you had to walk around to an outside entrance, in a sketchy back lot. It was a huge PITA if you had dogs since you could not leave your pets in your room or in your car. (WTF are you supposed to do - carry everything in one trip??)

Room was nice. Property was quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only thing missing for me would be coffees available in the room, but for the price of the room it was great. Elmer's restaurant on same property so you didn't have to go far for coffee or breakfast. There was also Starbucks and Dutch Bros within less than a mile. Will stay there again next time I go to Gresham.

Our room was very nice and seemed to have been updated recently. I was worried about the mattress but I slept great. Also, the shower needs some attention but it worked. We’ll be back!

The room was adequate and clean. The beds had creaking springs. The bathroom looked like it was being renovated but it was unfinished. The parking lot was fine. Didn't use the laundry. The staff in the front desk were friendly. Mary Lou checked us in and she was great. The other staff, a young man and an older man were both pleasant.

Motel was clean, and the staff was great. Still one of the best places to stay for the money.

The room was spotless & the staff friendly & courteous. The only thing is that the roof was leaking in the hallway, creating a wet spot on the rug. I got dripped on once when I wasn't paying attention.

Not having hot water for showers and the TV wasn't working properly. Also the pillows were the worst, very lumpy and hard, the good side, the room was clean. And staff was very friendly and did what they could to make our stay pleasant.

Towles had massive hair all over them and the dark haired guy at the desk stated i could not have clean towles ! Wait till tomorrow's thats a house keeping issue ! I drive 5 hours to get here and i wanted a shower tonight ! I want a refund !

It was very nice, good bedding. But there was black mold around the bath tub just above the tub faucet- not visible when a person is standing, but seen when laying down in the tub. Also the phone had no dial tone and couldn't speak with the office when trying to dial.

I have a video; but the property was very well protected. The hallways are protected by key accessible doors to only the residents staying at the hotel, there’s fast food, a diner & a strip of different stores within walking distance of the hotel, when i walked into my room, it was spotless, no cobwebs, no stains, the bed was clean, no dirt or bed bugs. The TV worked unlike some hotels (haha!!), i was able to have food delivered, i was able to take ubers to different spots and be dropped off within the same area, and there’s a tram station right behind the hotel too!! there’s so much you can do within the area. i loved my stay!!

Ample parking. Laundry is clean, works well and the staff is friendly and efficient. Housekeeping always makes sure we have fresh towels, etc, and Marilu at the front desk is wonderful.

The service was not good. I’d stay there for 5 days and I requested a room service to sweep and mop, but the front desk said there is no service for room cleaning. It was a horrible experience! I really need a refund!

Clean room daily, all amenities stocked well. Quite uneventful stay. I enjoy the rooms being inside access instead of outside door access helps for a better rest knowing any unwanted element will need to pass through a security door versus direct access to room door. Have stayed here before when in town to visit children and grandchildren.

You get what you pay for. It a place to sleep out from cold. Last minute booking. Staff was nice and trying. Smelled of ammonia/bleach and just over powering at times. Blankets felt damp but thankfully I had one of my own we used. No didn’t call understand it was cheap and got what we paid for… lol

Stood outside the locked lobby door for 5 minutes before check in. Only to call the hotel and find out I have to walk to the side of the lobby and greet staff at a side window for after hour check in. Wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Also after spending the night here the first night during our 2 night stay over the weekend to visit family we had came back to the hotel around 2pm Saturday to find our room keys didn’t open any of the doors.. okay strange. We walked 1500 feet to the lobby and got our keys re registered. But then we got into our rooms and saw our personal belongings had been touched/organized in the places we had put them and the towels got swapped. My privacy felt zero to non at that point so we decided to just leave after the first night during a 2 night stay. Also upon check in I felt very judged? I’m not sure but the staff member kept asking us if we smoked? I get it for room policy and what not but asking someone 6 times and then asking them to promise they don’t smoke on top of that is next level unprovoked behavior. I see why this place is $45 a night compared to other local stays

Not being able to stay there because my partner didn’t have his ID and apparently who ever stays in the room needs there ID. We traveled over 3 hours just to get there at midnight tired. Not being able to go to our room.

Everyone was nice on check in. It’s clean. The beds are comfy. It was challenging finding the ice machine and I’m still not sure if they have internet. It’s an economy hotel. It was as expected.

The guy that has a full face of makeup that works in the front desk its a power tripper even though hes just a low class working individual likes to act like he owns motel 6. He's extremely rude. IM A PAYING CUSTOMER AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY BAD. RUN 🏃‍♂️

When I checked in the lady was on top of it, professional and courteous had my room key within two minutes. Appreciate that after a long drive.

The beds are motel beds. Room was clean and nice looking. Random man came into the room when we weren’t there and we had left my sixteen year old sister there since she didn’t want to go out with us. Said he was fixing the tv but we hadnt had issues with the tv or reported anything asking for them to fix it. The staff said it was scheduled maintenance but I feel like we should have been told about that prior to checking in. When I called the front desk about it after my sister messaged me about the man being in the room, the man on the phone said he would get the man out of the room and I thanked him for understanding. I mentioned it to the front desk woman when checking out the next morning and the woman basically blamed me saying I shouldn’t have left a minor in the room. I wasn’t mean or snappy about that situation. I simply said that it would have been nice to at least know there was scheduled maintenance and I was extremely uncomfortable about the situation. But the woman really made me feel like it was my fault and that it wasn’t that big of a deal. I feel like I would have had a better experience if she was at the very least understanding.

The main manager was unfriendly and rude. Other staff were actually friendly and helpful. You ultimately get what you pay for with a Motel 6.

When turning on the bathtub, brown water initially came out. There were long black hairs on one of the "clean" towels and a hole in the wall of the bathroom with toilet paper shoves inside. The laminate on the floor was coming up. Even though it is a 2 star, budget motel, I haven't encountered these poor conditions at comparable motels. I would not stay here again.

I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and the front desk attendant.

I will not stay again. Hair on the toilet and tub. Ants all over the room. Talked to the worker at check in desk the following morning. Was told they had pest control coming and would make sure the ants were gone. When we returned ants were still everywhere. The transgender person working was extremely rude and refused to return our money or give us another room. There was no coffee pot, no shampoo or conditioner. This is the worse place I have ever stayed. Also the worker came to our room and just barged in when I opened the door to look at the ants and stated it’s not a big deal. I tried to tell him/her that my husband was at the front desk to talk to them but that didn’t stop him/her from barging in. Was very uncomfortable experience

Shady people wandering around the parking lot. I didnt feel safe taking my dog out when it was dark. Staff is rude!!! Called our room 10 minutes before checkout time stating"You have 10 minutes" I found this to be extremely rude and pushy. Its not like we didnt know already it was close to check out time!! I have never had anyone call me to remind me that I needed to get out in 10 minutes!! They acted like if we would dare be 5 minutes late checking out they would charge us for another night!! For the price of a room there and not feeling safe I would not recommend this place to family or friends.

Typical of what you’d expect from a motel 6, very happy with its cleanliness and newly remodeled room. Not happy that both adults had to give their ID, made me suspicious, as did the broken room window on the first floor facing the parking lot. Hallway was creepy so we got dinner and stayed indoors until morning.

Staff was rude and refused reservation, wanted us to pay as walk in rather than Orbitz app which would cost me more. Refused to price match as other hotels would. Family was in side room off office slamming stuff into walls and being loud. Had to get refund and boom at another motel.

Day was also never informed of this bogas policy . Even though we had talked to them in passing ,and got towels . We kept everything neat and the place was left as we found it with the exception of the laundry and a wipe down. I have traveled all over and never heard of being kicked out for not insisting that the maids come in to clean. I also paid 500. For the stay upfront so as the room goes it was fine very large and comfortable . The staff and/ or management could use a lesson in hospitality. I don't recommend staying there . I know I won't again.

The room #241 was clean and hot water worked pretty well but unfortunately the bed mattress is as hard as a brick, i would suggest a serious mattress swap because thats the hardest mattress I've ever slept on in any hotel in my life but other than that i had no problems

Its a reasonable priced stay, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable but unfortunately they have some sort of serious hot water problem at this particular location, every shower taken there has been cold and the water never truly gets hot or warm so beware

I stay everytime I'm in Gresham friendly staff. The rooms are always spotless. And it's a convenient location.

The room and common areas were clean. Front desk staff were helpful and efficient. Some of the other guests were a little sketchy, but the parking lot was well lit and I felt my car was safe there.

It motels a great motel, but it needs to be updated. It’s a lot of work.

Our room had been recently remodeled with new shower curtains, new king size mattress, huge tv with great internet service. In Sam’s parking lot there is an Elmer’s breakfast/ lunch spot and across the street a McDonald and Starbucks. Close to everything we needed. Felt completely safe as to get to your room you have an interior corridor. For the price this is a great motel.

It was a very cold night when I checked in and it would have been nice to have the heater on. It took a while to warm the room enough to sleep. Very thin blanket. Quiet and safe with plenty of parking.

Price was right

A woman who works here in this place is always threatening to kick me out and reminding me of the rules every time I see her. She is on a total power trip. I am not violating any of the rules. I keep to myself and don't bother other guests.

Tub was dirty and tv didn't work but attendant did offer to switch rooms but it was pouring rain and i would have had to go out get my self completely totally wet. And my wife was all alone at 11pm so no she didn't switch rooms.

For a Motel 6 and not the best area to stay it, it wasn't bad. The guy that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I was a little uncomfortable about staying in the area, more because of the Portland reputation then this motel, but I was happy enough with my stay.

They seem to be finishing up a renovation and while the public spaces still need some love and better lighting the rooms are nearly done and they are clean and spacious.
