The worst place , the first night next door they had the music so loud till 4 AM we couldn’t sleep and there was random people knocking in the middle of the night. It’s not a safe place and very dirty

I booked for Whittier but ended in Hacienda Heights. The photos were from Whittier vagabond. There was a lot of guests there were dealing and addicts picking up. The cops were there every night, The ice machine worked the first 2 days then nothing. Beds were not changed, the rooms were cleaned and trash taken out. The bed skirts were dirty and stained carpet was dirty. Bathroom door slammed into the sink if the door was open.

The room was pretty comfortable including the bed and bath. Also the staff was very friendly. I really would have liked an outlet near the bed to charge my phone. I had to plug it in by the TV and so get out of bed to check to time during the night.

First of all, the pictures depicted in the booking website were nothing like the actual site. Secondly, we weren't able to rest because the guest next door was dispensing pharmaceuticals to consumers dropping in every hour of the night and having conversations right in front of our window. I'm not sure why they just didn't pick up their prescriptions and immediately leave. As I looked through the peephole of the door to check on my vehicle, I realized that there was no glass on the outside of it. It was hollow offering no obscurity into the interior. I could feel the cool air hitting my eyeball which meant that whoever was outside could easily see into my room. I was so afraid that if I checked on who was standing outside my room speaking so loudly would be staring back at me or worse... that I would be looking straight into the barrel of a pew pew. What a living nightmare!

The first room assigned had a very strong smoke smell. We had requested non-smoking! The second room was clean and clear of smoke smell. The bed was comfortable. Ground floor room was on the freeway side of the building, but noise was not a problem.NO COFFEE in room.

Light switches worked sometimes and sometimes not.. Carpet badly worn. Drab decor. At least it was quiet for sleeping.

The sheets where stained , carpet has not been cleaned, bathroom tub would not drain , graffiti all over the room and bathroom.

First the front office staff was rude. The rooms are outdated and bedding sheets looked durty. Furniture ripped. Towels hard as a rock. Air conditioning was not working properly. They had a car air freshner clipped in the air conditioning.I have stayed in other Vagabond hotels in California. This one felt like you were staying in a motel.

The property is located in a neighborhood that i don't feel comfortably walking alone.

used condoms and wrappers under sheets. , mold in bathtub and shower. furniture old and broken ,old food in fridge. music loud all night . people constantly in and out of hotel rooms. beds super squeaky and stained/ ripped mattresses covered in semi clean sheets.

The place was absolutely disgusting, diety, had little roaches on the bed. The shower had tons of mold,paint was coming off. The light in the bathroom did not work. The microwave and fridge were dirty. The whole place is run down and nasty.

The people at the front desk will greet you and welcome you with a smile. Everyone is professional and efficient. It was such a fast and easy process to check in. Housekeeping service are friendly and professional as well! Vagabond Inn in Hacienda Heights is the place to stay!

Front desk staff was very snappy and I felt super uncomfortable, he gave us the wrong room from what I actually reserved which caused some problems. The bathroom door didnt lock or fully shut, but I mean for the price you get what you get.

Rude service

I had to cancel my reservation last minute, so I called the hotel to notify them. I knew my reservation was nonrefundable, but the hotel staff advised me to call Expedia to inquire about a refund anyway. So I did and was issued a complete refund! That was totally unexpected and I appreciate the hotel staff for the advise! Thank you Vagabond Inn!!!

Room service is not bad but the room and cleanliness is not up to mark even the beds have stains and towels are not clean. Changed almost 3 rooms one doesn’t have proper power supply other do have items like Tv, telephone, mirror and microwave but doesn’t work. There is no choice for us as we found this after paying the money so we have to stay 3 nights in this hotel.

Lamp shades were dirty and stain. Headboard was torn Sink was not attached to the wall it was falling off the wall. Stains all over the floor.

Feel like bed sheet never been replaced because I found women's hair. It was long hair. I couldn't feel good about it, so I couldn't stay until next morning. I just took a shower and rest little bit and left earlier.

I was so disgusted look like dirt and blood on the side of the walls everywhere a broken glass mirror look like they put back together went to go take a shower and there was lady hair all over the shower felt like a lot of druggies Go into motels and destroy them, and they leave it like that. I still can’t believe we look at the blood on the wall.

They give no refunds whatsoever. So don’t complain or they will threaten to call police on you.

The sheets had pee and coffee stains on them. Which where not cleaned off just covered with a towel. Had it not been that we noticed a square under the sheets we wouldnt have noticed. When we told them to change the sheets they were very rude.

Overall the facility of in really good condition but the first thing we find in our bathroom is not a roach…but it is what we found

The table was warped. Half of the covers on the fire sprinklers in the room had fallen off, and there was dirt under where they had fallen off. The shower pressure was low. The door frame in the bathroom was rotting at the bottom.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in. Period. The furniture inside the room had graffiti on it. The sheets had stains all over it. Carpet was nasty. Lights didn't work properly in the bathroom. There was a hole into the ceiling in the bathroom where the light should be. The shower was dirty. Gross gross gross. This is the place that would have bedbugs. I didn't bother looking. Never stay in this hotel if you care about your health. Place should be shut down for how disgusting it is.

I gave my information and everything and forgot to sing the paper and the man in the desk came to me and screamed at me for forgetting to sign . People make mistakes but that is not the way to treat the costumers it will be my last time that I check in these hotel

The staff was very friendly. But the rooms were horrendous and disgusting. Full of roaches and mold in the bathroom, the toilet water comes out when you flush, the bed sets had blood stains, the carpet was so stained, and the rooms were very smelly. I would not stay here again. 1/10.

The rooms had mexican Gangs graffiti on walls , Bathrooms and on tables??? The rooms full of them. For me and my family to pay$110 per night for this , is a crime against hotel, chain. They take alot of money for 1 night and let you sleep in a room with gangs graffiti. Shame on america and shame of us staying in this bad environment , my daughter was scared all night from the graffitis. Yes we could not change as no refund allowed another crime.

WARNING DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHTOS ON THE WEBSITE. This hotel is dirty and run down. They have insects that bite you on the bed. The staff are not very friendly or helpful. The outside looks decent but the inside is a nightmare. I booked a non- smoking room and was given a smoking room that stunk of stale cigarettes. The second room was also smelly. I chose the third because it was late and needed a place to stay. Needless to say I chose the lesser of two evils. The furniture and decor looked nothing like the photos on the website. Furniture was old stain chipped and broken. They have a bedbug problem I had little itchy red bits on my body. Stay away they are not to decent Vagabond brand hotel they are some kind of independent hotel using the name without the quality that a normal vagabond is known for.

The place was fine but unfortunately the water wasnt working. I couldn't take a shower nor use the restroom. It was unpleasant that they couldnt notify their guest. It also gets very loud after 10pm.

This place had roaches in the bathroom and found a bed bug when arriving at my room at night.

AC not working properly. Despite the sign saying we could get quarters for the laundry (which is dirty and linking all over) there were no quarters available.

Front desk older Asian man was very rude and has no customer service. We called the desk no answer. My husband went to tel him room was hot and ac was not working comes in and tells me you have too many people in the room that’s why it’s hot. Told him his AC not working has nothing to do with my family of 5 being in a room. 3 kids 2 adults. Come to find out the AC unit was disconnected. The bathroom had mildew and one of the beds was soft while the other bed felt super hard like if your sleeping on 2 box springs. Not sure if we would stay here again. We stood here 2 yes ago and it was better take. Care of inside the room.

Moldy bathroom tub. Tub and shower both run at the same time. Cannot yse one without the other. Filthy stairwells and walkways. No amenities at all.

Dirty, Smell, Old and Damaged Furnitures

There was a cockroach on the bathroom floor when I arrived. And the next morning, there was another beetle that crawled out of the toilet while I was using it. Horrific. There were also stains all over the chair and dirt everywhere.

I asked housekeeper politely if she can change linen because it was stained or dirty she hecame enraged and started yelling at me and was discriminating against my service animal. Housekeeper was so enraged she went to office to tell the front desk to throw me out and front desk came to my room asking me personal questions about my service animal. I told him to leave me alone I already checked in then he left and the next day the housekeeper tried to say my service animal was barking and being aggressive when she came to clean my room but the truth is I went to work and my service dog went to work w me and we were gone all that night and all day the next day until 5:30 pm she then proceeded to harass me telling the manager this story about she could'nt come in to clean because she said my service dog was barking and being aggressive lol we had just gotten home that evening at 5:30 Pm he was with me all that time and all 9 days he was never aggressive towards no one there and not 1 time did he bark at anyone she lied about everything. I finally straightened it out with the management. Two staff members in the office were rude discriminating against my service animal.
