The air conditioner was quite noisy and the smoke detector either needs replacement or has battery issues in room 115.

Clean room. I didn't interact much with the staff, except that I had to leave a day early since I had a family emergency and I booked through Expedia a third-party vendor. I wasn't able to get a refund.

Secondly, about Jay Sosa, he was a pleasantly man until Saturday afternoon of my stay...again arrived with my family on Thursday. My son arrives at the hotel promptly at 2:15pm with my nephew when they was greeted by Jay Sosa. He says " hey youngings what room are you in"..my son proceeded to walk without a word because who addresses any guest as such and your the suppose to be the manager..my son then proceeded to use his hotel key to enter the room to get change where again Jay Sosa stopped him along with Staff to insist on him identifying himself saying "its a safety thing we have to do" long story short cops was later called on the property because Jay Sosa begin yelling and screaming at my son and might i add he smelled of alcohol...the 2 lovely officer who responded simply said call corporate, Jay admitted to unprofessionalism but smelled of alcohol his was glossy.

Arrived early and they allowed us to check in early every thing was clean and staff was extra friendly cons: Tv kept freezing room smelled a lil musty i febreezed the room. And turned on the air conditioner to change the air quality breakfast was ok but not the greatest but staff was Everything very nice and helpful

Breakfast and all day coffee was nice. The bath tub had several stains and appeared to be coming apart. Front desk was notified and someone came to clean the tub. They confirmed that the tub was peeling. Bath mats were added to cover what clearly needed repaired.

The hotel itself was very clean. Although when you entered the room it had a close smell. The rooms could use a modern upgrade. The food and staff were very friendly! Other then that, it’s a nice hotel for a quick one night stay like we had.

The exhaust fan in bathroom either didn’t have a switch or was supposed to come on with light switch in which case it did not.

The hotel was very well kept and clean. We had no problems checking in or checking out in. The breakfast was good. My kids swim in the pool and said it was a little dirty, but other than that everything was great.

My brother was in room 304 handicap room , with his wife, no place in the bathroom to plug in the hair blower. I was in 303, put awake up call for 5 am. No phone call, thank god I set my phone. Breakfast was ok, but the sausage was so burnt it was had to cut it with a knife.

Beds are terrible

There was an issue with the toilet and they gave us a plunger but absolutely didnt resolve the issue, so going to the bathroom was an issue the entire stay, they didnt offer to mive us to another room nor did they try and compensate us for the inconvenience.

There was a bed bug in the bed. The general manager was on vacation so they could not refund any money. The staff on duty was as accommodating as he could be but was limited in authority.

It’s a nice property for a quick stay. The part I didn’t was the slippery floors that caused me to fall.

2. The coating in the tub was cracking/ peeling off. 3. The pillows had stains on them. My aunt had similar issues including 4. Toilet was working 5. Remote wasn’t working. The cafeteria wasn’t what it used to be - the coffee machine is gone, the carafes were cold. -the waffle machine’s handle was slack/not closing so all the batter fell out when you twisted it. Not sure what happened but I’ll think twice about staying here again.

We arrived at the hotel, check in was a little concerning. There was an issue with the terminal, and our card was inadvertently charged twice. We went back to the desk after going to our room and realizing the error. When we approached the gentleman at the desk (not the same individual which checked us in), he was adamant the error did not occur. Of course we weren't going to let that go. No worries, the next morning, we approached the manager with the same issue, and he quickly rectified the situation with an apology and refund for the overpayment. Breakfast was great, parking was secure and the hotel and grounds were clean.

This property is non smoking which we liked and everything was clean and well kept. Unfortunately, the Expedia phone app gave the appearance when I was checking how late we could check in that I hadn’t confirmed the reservation and we clicked confirmed. This resulted in a double booking for the room and the hotel advised we would have to resolve with Expedia. The hotel was a good value for the price and we will stay here again when visiting our daughter.

When I arrived I was told they were short staffed and no rooms were available. I let the check-in person know I had an event to attend. She went and found me a room.

Pee stain on the comforter that was being hidden by the additional white piece. The audit specialist running the desk came off as rude and uninterested. The toilet stopped flushing (not that it was backed up) and I was advised that he would give me a plunger to attempt and resolve the issue and if that didn’t work I would need to wait until that evening for it to be addressed. Maybe they were short staffed. Overall it was decent, but I don’t know if it was worth what I paid per night.

While the hotel was decent and in a great location, convenient to where i needed to go. However, it was extremely loud. People hanging outside, in the hallways and kids running up and down the hallways, made it hard to sleep on the 1st night. The second night the noise was less. The guy who worked the breakfast area was amazing. He was helpful and very friendly. He was even noted going around asking the guest were they alright or needed anything. My only suggestion would be to have a non pork option as not everyone eats pork.

This room was the cleanest, well appointed room I've had in quite a long time. The staff was great, had a late arriving flight, so was grateful for the mini market .

They also make you sign something about no drugs and smoking in the hotel but as soon as you walk on the first floor the first thing you smell is weed. It hits you like a ton of bricks! Wouldn't be that big of a deal if they didn't make you sign a special acknowledgment that it's a smoke free hotel. Staff was amazing though and very helpful!

Hotel and room just as shown in the pictures. Whew! We stayed for a week visiting family. The location was great. It was quiet, the hotel and room were very clean, updated decor, very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good and staff kept everything clean. There’s one washer and one dryer for $3 each. We enjoyed the gym, there’s enough equipment for a full workout. The indoor pool area looked inviting but we didn’t use it. Great stay!

Bed was hard. Lights bulbs not working, door to bathroom would stick and make very loud noise when opening/closing. The breakfast was horrible, never had such bad tasting sausage gravy. The hotel itself was not bad, however the are had a lot of vagrants and panhandlers. Approached several times getting into and out of our vehicle.

I had a pleasant stay and appreciated the staff and the points that I was able to use. One issue - the heating unit smelled like mildew. I have experienced this in other hotels where the heating/AC unit is low and located near the window. This is a concern. These units need to be replaced for health sake. Noone should have to sleep with mildew constantly blowing in the air. Please address and resolve this for the health of your customers. Respectfully, NPM

Nice stay for my long weekend

It was updated and mostly clean, but the tub and showerhead had rust stains and the tub paint or shellac was peeling in multiple areas. The staff was very nice though.

The facility was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of breakfast options to choose from. The only problem was that the A/C on the 3rd floor wasn’t working properly so it was on the warm side.

Nice staff but this is not a 3 star property... feels much closer to a budget brand like red roof inn or motel 6. Extremely noisy AC system in room and very loud neighborhood kids in the lot late at night. Bathtub in pretty poor shape. We will not be returning.

This is a great value for the price! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. However, there was a damp smell in my room. The staff moved me to another room, but it had a stronger odor. I was able to deal with it for one night since I was only staying for the night. Other than that issue, the place was great.

Rooms need to be updated for the price it was a little underwhelming.. especially the bathtubs and the dirty comforters . But the staff was AMAZING!! Especially my man J!! They were very helpful with everything and extremely polite .. for the location it was excellent but for the price they need to do some renovations.. also had trees being taken down in the property at 8am in Saturday all day LONG..

We had a wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Hampton. All of the staff was amazing, but Kevin in particular went above and beyond to help us get rooms together and was generally a great vibe! The rooms are exceptionally well sound proofed. Probably the best sound proofing of any hotel I have stayed at, including the bathroom. It felt like a quiet oasis in there :) We will definitely be back next time we are in Hampton. It is also walkable to a gas station and a big shopping center only a few minute drive away!

Convenient location, good parking

The check in time is 4pm but I was not able to gain access to my room until 4:35. We were in Hampton for a friends wedding at Our Lady of Vietnam Catholic Church which began at 5:00 pm and after traveling from Laurel, Md. and not being able to shower and get dressed we did not get to the wedding until 5:30. This was a real disappointment and embarrassing for my wife and myself. I explained all of this to the staff to no avail whatsoever and checked out this morning with no satisfaction or resolution to this matter.

I paid $200 through Expedia. But getting to hotel, they needed card on file. Which they ended up charging me as well $150 for my less than 12 hour stay. So $350 for a comfort inn stay that was us literally getting there at 10pm and leaving early in the morning. And when calling about this charge- can’t understand a lick of the person who is supposed to be trying to help us. Not sure if it’s just to piss us off more to just hang up and forget about what was just scammed from us or what their intentions were. BUT BEWARE they don’t tell you that the other places will charge also on top of their charge!

The internet is off cored at this location. They have smart TVs but no access to it, via the internet.

Not the cleanest place. There were roaches in the room….the carpet and linens didn’t look the cleanest. The pullout couch was dirty too. If the hotel is cleaned up it would be a much better stay. They have good breakfast and the staff members are nice.

Been there 2years at the same time and had a great visit.

My wife and I were in town for a convention. We booked the room at basically the last minute and it's been a good choice. The staff has done an outstanding job; and the room was very good. We'll be back.

The one thing which I think could be done is a better description of its location when searching for it with GPS. There are a number of Comfort Inns in the vicinity and someone not familiar with the area would have a hard time--as I did--figuring out which one to submit to the GPS for routing. If there could be some kind of unique name for it not related to its address, that might help a lot. Example: "Comfort Inn Magnifico" or "World's Best Comfort Inn."

The shampoo was empty, the ac machine didn’t work

The sheets were dingy appearing. The room was unlocked when I walked into the room which was strange. The staff were very kind.

Was in a good safe area close to Langley AFB

Very nice and clean hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool, gym, or got breakfast, but they all seemed great. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Is very nice place

Says every 3 days they will clean the room. We stayed 5 and even requested twice for the trash and towels to be picked up and replace toilet paper and no one came. We ended up getting our own toilet paper. They had few very staff and assumed that's why.

We did find hair in our bed covering, but the staff immediately gave us fresh linen and apologized. AC was nice until it wasn't in the middle of the night, but found out from Google that rooms have motion detectors that cut off the AC at night, which I understand trying to save but it not right. My major complaint though is that the Hotel kept a $150 hold on my card without my consent, along with the cost of the rooms and said it would fall off in a few days for possible damages charges. I booked my room through Expedia, which show exactly what was supposed to be charge, this is a disrespectful charge if you ask me. Also parking can be a little tough at times, especially if you have a big vehicle.

We stay here every time we travel to VA to see our family. This place is always clean and the staff is courteous and professional and accommodating. We highly recommend!

An amazing getaway with the comforts of home. The entire stay was clean, calm and relaxing. The staff were five star professionals. Each employee had wonderful customer service. The breakfast area was super clean and welcoming! I'm sure to bring my family here again!

I am a coffee drinker and I love that the coffee was 24 hours. The lemon infused water was available as well. Excellent staff. Very clean, comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall the hotel was good. The only issue is the pool was dirty and cloudy and could not be used.
