12:30am and 3:30am on 1st night. On the 2nd night the room lights automatically turned on at 4:30am and 5:30 am. Something wrong with the electronic light switch panels?? Met with hotel manager prior to check ing out and our VIP cost was refunded, approx $60 total. Mentioned their engineers would check out the room lighting situation. Overall, a disappointing stay.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. My only concern was the lack of safety bars in the shower with a slippery floor. The Spa and Salon were very nice and accomidating. An elevator in the spa would have been helpful for handicap people that cannot use so many stairs. My services were delightful. The casino and restaurants were the best

Negative: Stayed for son's wedding. My elderly parents booked a room as well through a third party, although they thought they were calling the hotel. My dad was taken via ambulance and admitted, so my mom came alone. The front desk would not allow her to check in to her room since her name was not on the reservation, despite showing ID with same last name and address. We had even made sure our rooms were by each other prior to arriving, so there had been contact made. We had someone go to her home out of state to try to get the confirmation number, but the front desk said it didn't match. The front desk offered absolutely no assistance. Bottom line, my 80 year old mother was denied a room that she already paid for and had to share with someone. This set the tone for our wedding weekend. This had nothing to do with Expedia. However, it ruined our stay. Do yourself a favor and stay at a hotel that values their customers and wants a positive outcome. There's plenty of gorgeous hotels in Henderson and Vegas.

Excellent bathroom vanity lighting so you can see what you are doing. Large shower with 1 simple control knob. No plastic bag lined garbage cans. Simple to use room thermostat. No charge for hotel valet parking. You don't have to walk thru the casino to get to your room! Easy access to your Netflix account. Large, flat counter area for open suitcases OR plenty of drawer space! Use caution in marble bathroom with wet floors.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We were relaxing in the room with privacy notification on. I heard a knock on the door, and then a 2nd knock. I was in bed and did not want to get up, not to mention, NO ONE should be knocking on the door if the privacy notification is on!!!!! That is Hotels 101!!! Needless to say, after the 2nd knock, a member of the in-room mini bar staff entered my room!!! She figured no one was in there after knocking twice, so she let herself in knowing the privacy light was on!!!! Makes me truly wonder what she was going to do or possibly steal while in there, and what her true intentions were. UNACCEPTABLE!!! I'm very glad I was dressed and etc. I jumped up and confronted her, but she had nothing to say except stupid excuses that made zero sense. At first she was just quiet and looked at me, then stuttered a bit, and then pretended there was a language barrier. I will NEVER go back.

I think Green valley rival any des int resort on the Strip. The spa is where I go every time I co e to Vegas. The remodeled rooms are beautiful . And as always, the resort is clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

She was professional and so sweet to try and help us with our room. There was only so much she could do so then we asked for a manager. Klaudy came to our rescue! The hotel was at 99% capacity and she went into her office to see what she could do to help us. Klaudy came back and informed us there were no other king patios with a view available so we were very distraught. Klaudy told us there was a suite but there was an upcharge. She went ahead and showed us the suite and we fell in love with it. As a wedding gift, she upgraded us from our reservation to a suite! She made our wedding that much more special because it was right across from the grand staircase where we would be getting married the following day. Brie and Klaudy are very special women! They were empathetic, kind, caring and professional all in one. GVR, give these women a raise! You have some MVP's on your team!

My daughter, mother and I shared a 2 queen bed suite when we came to town for a sports event at Lee’s Family Forum. Check in staff was amazing, pool was clean and seating was comfy. Rooms were very clean, but air conditioning in our room was broken. We called maintenance every day and were reassured that it was fixed-it was not.

We were attending a wedding on the south side of the city. GVR made for a very comfortable & relaxed environment away from the Strip. We had a king with a balcony, very nice, super clean bathroom. Front desk & valet (complimentary parking) were so courteous & efficient.

Green Valley Ranch is currently being renovated so our room was beautiful but downstairs where the Casino level is it’s under a lot of construction. The staff were very nice and they had to reroute people so it was kind of funny trying to find the elevator's and some of the restaurants were closed. But all in all we really liked our room and that was why we came for a nice quiet room in a beautiful area on a small vacation ☺️

Room was clean, maid service was great & front desk staff friendly. Twice out of five times, the valet staff did not lock our vehicle. Fortunately I was notified via my Lexus app & was able to lock it from the room. We weren’t thrilled about that. We mentioned it & they denied it happening.

Beautiful upscale resort with a great gym and spa. Very private. The newly renovated rooms are beautiful, some with large balconies. Stop by the elegant lobby bar and get a perfectly made cocktail from Mercedes.

This was my first time staying at Green Valley. We were in town for a baseball tournament and the resort was very close to the fields. I have to say that I did not miss the strip at all staying here. The rooms were so nicely done. The amenities were definitely so much nicer than other hotels I’ve stayed at. Everyone there from the valet to housekeeping, room service etc. were amazing. I loved that there were things like the arcade for my son to enjoy. The availability of great places to eat close by was definitely a plus. I am looking forward to my next stay.

I liked the food court. I didn’t like that my room looked like it had been cleaned by Hellen Keller, and delightfully the sink and toilet in the room next to me was under major construction, so I got to enjoy maintenance stroking into my room and having actual feces come up through the pipes into my bathroom!

Stayed in the New Tower absolutely wonderful.

Everything was amazing! Newly remodeled tower was gorgeous. Casino is separate from hotel which we love. Rented an igloo outside and it was a fabulous charcuterie and martini experience!!!

The check-in process was confusing and scattered, making it both unclear and time-consuming, which made me feel anxious and frustrated. The lady in the gift store was unwelcoming, and I had children with me. When my 7-year-old grabbed slippers, she told him to give them to her and then demanded to my children that they place their chosen items on the table, using phrases like 'please kindly' and 'allow me to put the items away.' At checkout, she didn't say thank you, simply completing the transaction. As someone who owns a business and works in healthcare, I understand the importance of good customer service. I kindly ask for your staff to be retrained in checking procedures, and I suggest advising the gift store lady to smile more and use kinder words.

Stayed 4 days at GVR Nov 2025 to attend a wedding hosted by GVR. Nice and comfortable room in East tower. Sink backed up but staff resolved in about 1.5 hrs after I reported the issue (issue due to clogged shared plumbing with neighboring room). The lighted makeup mirror didn’t work at all and I had no time to call anyone to fix as wedding was in an hour so big disappointment on that. Water for shower took a long time to heat up. Otherwise the staff were friendly, the room very clean, amenities were great (pool open and operating in Nov). The grounds are beautifully maintained, good restaurants / bars to visit, Drop Bar (located in Casino) hosted our late night bar sessions with friends and family (great wait staff there) with a little dancing thanks to a good DJ. Checking in and checking out were super easy and they even gave me early check-in (arrived an hour prior to the 3pm check-in time) without a fee or a frown. Will stay here again if I’m out that way!

Renovated rooms were wonderful! Just wish toilets had bidets, and if there were a small convenient store to get late night snacks and water would be great!

The staff was amazing, from the check in to the spa! Zailla was wonderful and able to secure a last minute spa appointment for me. Spa attendant Jaz, was so friendly and helpful. Theresa, my masseuse, was amazing, I can’t wait to book another appointment when I come back in a few months. We always have a wonderful experience at Green Valley, but this time was exceptional.

The pool is lovely, though it closes early. It is possible to stay in the resort and avoid the casino. The sushi restaurant is excellent. The spa was wonderful.

Expedia was showing pictures of the remodel rooms instead we were assigned to an old room with leaking faucet and shower. had an issue with the toilet not flushing. very worn out carpet. Not worth the high price.

This place is has everything

The room was nice, although it was in great need of updating. Also, we were disappointed to find at our room only had a view of the parking garage, which was not what we expected within upgraded Deluxe level room. There were four rooms in our party and we all had the same lovely view. However, we really enjoyed the pool area and the restaurants. Hopefully next time we return there will be a nicer room available.

The staff at check in, bell service, room service, and maintenance were all great. The smoke smell from the casino was horrible! People smoking right next to the food court made dining there a bad experience. The room smelled of sewage. Daily calls to maintenance to spray was required. There was no effort to proactively alleviate the problem (e.g. spray during room make over or moving to another room). The food from room service was fantastic. It was delivered quickly and came fresh & hot. I used to stay here every time I visited Vegas but unfortunately this last experience would make me hesitate to stay again.

It was disappointing that the fitness center was not free. There was no shuttle to the strip. The hot tub was full of kids. The pool was not heated. They gave us 20percent coupon and we couldn’t use it anywhere except the overpriced coffee shop on site.

Room was nice. Light by bed didn’t work and small mirror in bathroom was very loose & barely hanging on the wall.

we choose to stay here for the pool. do wish there was more sun cover for it, but it's makes the whole stay worth it. beds are very comfortable. it is a big property, so if you haven't stayed here, be prepared - you may have a long walk from the main lobby to your room.

I like everything about this property, it was beautifully designed and decorated. It was clean and safe, the grounds were spectacular. The bed however, lacked a lot to be desired. The mattress definitely needed to be exchanged for a new one. Our mattress was sunken on each side with a high middle. Super bad on your back.

Being at Green Valley for a symposium was a delight. The food, beverage and service were excellent, the facility spacious and pleasant. The rooms are large and very comfortable. I loved the deep bath tub. The lounge areas by the pool are so luxurious and relaxing - perfect conversation spots

Outstanding Geneva suite experience~ comfortable room to gather, decent sound system, fun pool table and a really comfy bed. The separate bathrooms were a blessing and amenities were nice. Climate zones kept us comfortable when our whole crew came together.

The VIP check in was bad. The clerk rude. Said we were no longer VIPs even though Expedia says we are. Claimed it was Corporate Expedia and the hotel changing ownership and they “have to work it out.” She begrudgingly gave us the 20% food discount but further insulted us by telling us we could not have the VIP snacks. We’ve been going to Green Valley Ranch every year since 2006 when I was an event planner and found the property. So disappointing and we will rethink going back in the future.

Also, the attitudes of the restaurant staff was a bit off putting. I waited almost 30 minutes to eat at the penny restaurant then when I sat down they didn’t have any steak. But the attitudes there are pretty much what I got from the Vegas experience. They’re blaming Trump for the drop in tourism but it’s their attitudes.

The tv setting was set to lowest brightness possible and the staff could not fix it. The bed was uncomfortable. The bathroom was not well stocked.

As a local, we do a StayCation every couple of months. First time at GVR. Room was ok....carpet was ripped in a couple areas and the shower would not drain at all...won't be going back or recommend GVR to anyone. Will give Durango a shot next time.

Very nice resort off the strip. Great pool and hotel grounds. Restaurants were good. Lucky Penny is a great cafe, good food, reasonably priced. Room was clean and a little dated; however, they look like they are doing an extensive renovation of the rooms. All staff seemed very friendly. Very relaxing compared to the hectic nature of the strip.

The whole resort. The atmosphere, amenities, staff....it was all wonderful once again. This was my third visit and I certainly hope to be back. The room keys did not consistently work, particularly the East wing hallway glass doors. The pool closing at 7pm seems at least an hour too early. Several of the young male lifeguards were often on their cell phones.

I felt like the hotel was worth the price tag. The rooms weren’t the most up to date and you could hear people in neighboring rooms and hallway. All employees I encountered were friendly. Pool was great, arcade was fun, and the food court options were good.

This is our favorite place to stay - especially off strip. It’s quiet, convenient, and has many options for food and entertainment. The pool and poolside service are impeccable. Our family was very impressed with our choice of GVR.

I've stayed at this property twice. Both really great experiences. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation and I'm excited to see what upgrades are made to the rooms. The pool area is wonderful, very family-friendly but also great for couples.

I arrived late at night and found a note in my room saying the water would be shut off—something I wish had been mentioned at check-in. The next morning, I learned the spa pool was only available to those with spa appointments. I tried to book one, but was told the spa was closed for a private event. I then asked about buying a day pass just to use the pool, but was told that wasn’t allowed either due to a private photoshoot event. Trying to make the best of it, I went to the adult pool, where I was told I could only sit at the bar unless I paid $35 for a lounge chair. Frustrated, I went to the family pool, which was nice—until they cranked the music up so loudI couldn’t hear myself think. If you want a decent off-strip hotel with a lively family pool, this might work. But for a peaceful, spa-like escape, look elsewhere

There was no hot water either day that we stayed. The neighbor across the hallway stated that he had the same issue.

The Green Valley Ranch has great amenities, a movie theater, super easy to park and get in, just on all around great place to stay.

We arrived early May, and it was starting to get hot. I want to come back maybe in April and stay longer. It's a fascinating place. They have a sister resort just a mile or two from this place that also looks very nice.

The payouts at the casino are better than the strip, too. Something to consider if you're a gambler. We only had two issue: (1) no coffee machine in the room. Not a *huge* issue, because the VIP room in the lobby offered free coffee. But, if you're looking for a cup when you wake up, you'll have to order room service; (2) the shower water was extremely hard and dried out my skin. I normally do not moisturize, but I found myself having to. Also, no wash clothes for the shower. Bring a loofah/sponge with you or you'll be using one of the hand towels.

On site restaurant has a great assortment of dishes and amazing fresh baked quick breakfast treat items. The grounds are amazing with well kept landscaping and plenty of outdoor seating.. Great pool with zero depth sand entry also has cabanas to sit and enjoy the view or get close to the pool. About 15 minutes to Vegas Strip but only if you have a car or arrange transportation. Overall property is peaceful and a great getaway retreat whether you enjoy the casino or just staying in the area to enjoy everything else. Highly recommend and plan to stay again!

I was there to visit family for a medical emergency. Everyone was very friendly and my room was clean and fine.
