The thing I loved most was a huge breakfast they serve everyday!! It was amazing! Eggs sausage pancakes, homemade cinnamon rolls(hot), any kind of bread and toaster , gravy and biscuit , yogurt any flavor, cereal, three kinds of juice, fresh coffee, creamer. Parking was a little issue but wouldn’t keep me from staying there again.

The Staff was friendly, Breakfast was good and the rooms were nice and clean! Also the pool was heated!!! The corridor rug needs to be clean on my floor . The elevator floor tile needs to be replaced.

The room was nice the only thing was my room was right by the elevator so it was loud at times. Other than that the hotel is a little dated for the price.

Convenient to my event. The only thing that would be a negative is the bathroom door would stay closed on room 216, but not really a problem.

Breakfast was okay, was expecting something a little more filling. The parking was somewhat limited due to the construction bin located in the rear of the hotel.

While they are going a little updating Everything But still stick and span in the bathroom was in immaculate condition. The welcome staff with quick and efficient. However, But stood out most was the lovely breakfast team. I received a good morning from each of them, that you have offered to customize a couple of my breakfast items. Simply perfect.

This is not the typical standard expected of a Holiday Inn. The hotel rooms are in need of updates. I think the carpet was new as it was taped at the door way. The curtains were old and not hanging properly so we had to use hangers to bring them together. There was mold behind the AC. The shower is in a tub and not a walk in. Tiles are coming up in the bathroom. The parking lot is unkept and trashy. Signs in the elevator are taped up with blue painting tape stating pool towels are available. Looks trashy. Orange juice and pancake mix were watered down. Bananas were brown. Only one coffee machine worked. The tables were dirty. There were crumbs in the fresh cookie container with no fresh cookies for the time we were there. No coffee maker in our room. We paid $500 for 3 nights. Not cheap. The staff were very friendly. I can’t fault the staff. It just felt cheap and that’s not the normal feel of a Holiday Inn.. I left a blue pair of sandals by the door on my way out and when I called later that day so my daughter could run by and pick them up they never called me back. I know exactly where I left the sandals. They were there. I would have appreciated the call back I was promised…total disappointment.. might have to avoid Holiday Inn moving forward..

People ignore the parking rules, just check with the front desk. 1 of 2 J1772 chargers worked. 4 tesla chargers were available. Bare minimum business or overnight enroute traveller's hotel. All things in context. A 2 star bare minimum property. Everything is a little worn and dingy -But it's maintained and not the worst of these types by far. Stay away from the 1 elevator - the doors slam and are quite loud each time someone uses it. All amenities are there, just the cheap version of them. It's all practical and serves the purpose. Cooked breakfast is terrible fake food but it's free. Go for cereals and fruits. It's not a walking area, there's not much to do within walking distance. Restaurants and shopping are a quick drive away.

When we checked into the room, the bedside lamps, nor the phone worked. We reported this to the desk the clerk the next morning which got it resolved fairly quickly.

Upon checking in, we were assigned an accessible room which was requested. However, we were unable to raise the blinds, there was no stopper in the sink and the safe did not operate. We were then assigned the room next door which was MUCH better and very comfortable. There appeared to be a problem with lady bugs. Staff were kind and we were grateful they worked on Christmas.

I was able to check in early. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. I always check every hotel room before bringing my things in. This room was very clean. I’ve stayed here multiple times over the years with consistent service. Area feels safe. The only thing about breakfast was the hot food wasn’t as good as usual, but we did go down for breakfast right at the end of breakfast time. The other foods were fresh and we had plenty of choices for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again when coming back to the area.

we get to room after driving all day around 930pm and there was left overs in the refrigerator and the room smelled really bad so i opened microwave and there was leftovers that smelled like onions it was bad.so i go to get in bed and therecwas a used condom on the floor between the bed and wall .i liked location of hotel i went to visit my daughter and my grandsons.i didnt get a discount or anything all they said was we are sorry and it wont happen again.Didnt offer me a different room cause they were booked up they said .they didn't even say anything like we can give u a discount or nothing.i have been to this hotel a couple times with no problems at all.this was the first time this has ever happened. its convenient cause its close to my daughters house.

I did not use any food service. What I did not like and found to be unsafe and disgusting was black mold in several places on the bathroom ceiling and rust on the bathroom fan. I brought the mold issue to someone at the front desk. Outside my window on the first floor there was a large pile of debris. Refrigerator, cabinets, all types of construction debris like it was from a renovation.

The hotel was recently renovated and very clean. Staff at the front desk were friendly, competent and polite. Our room was very spacious and clean. We often stay at Holiday Inn express and they are always excellent!

Location was at the heart of the many adventures we went on.

The location is sketchy, in my opinion. I didn’t fear for my safety, necessarily, but it’s the kind of run down commercial district that is too common in middle America. I booked here because the downtown hotels didn’t have free parking. As it turns out, I wish I had spent the extra $20/night because we went downtown every night (about 15 minute drive) and had to pay for parking anyway. By the way, the downtown area is full of attractions, nice restaurants, and is generally lovely. Bottom line is this hotel could be a decent option for 1/2 the price, but for what it is — and where it’s located — it was disappointing.

Property location Good. Each night we were there, the hotel seemed to be full. Compliments to management for excellent staff training, including room service staff. However they could not overcome a facility that has clearly seen its better days. The furniture in the dining area was well worn and stained. Carpets were stained despite them attempted to be cleaned while we were there. One of our rooms had a broken toilet seat. The other, the toilet paper holder was broken and just dangling. the Brand image of Holiday Inn Express takes a serious hit at this location. The only saving grace was the attentiveness of excellent people. From check in to check out, they made that part of the stay good. Holiday Inn Express should be embarrassed for this location.

I had to clean the bathroom toilet before i used it as it had old dried urine on the seat.

The location is easy to access. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The employees at the front desk and working the breakfast buffet were helpful, courteous & friendly. We have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions while visiting family, and will continue to do so.

Pleasant check-in. Room needs some updating/minor repair and cleaning. Bathroom tile on sink wall needs repair and wall needs painting. Lighting in bathroom could be brighter. Bed was comfortable but in-room lighting needs to be better. Breakfast selection was good and well stocked.

The stay over housekeeping is not very good. Any other hotel I have stayed in always checked the room while I was out and replenished the towels, toilet paper and fixed up the beds. Here if you are not ready for housekeeping when they go past your room they skip your room. I stayed Friday Saturday and Sunday and both Saturday and Sunday I had to either track down the housekeeper or call the front desk.

I have no complaints!! Breakfast was good, front staff was helpful and close to where I needed to be during the week! The area was quiet! I could hear doors slamming at some points but other than that, it was a great stay. Bathroom was clean and nice, bed was comfortable, clean and big! No complaints!

Needs a bit more updating

I needed to change rooms because of a maintenance issue. They did address immediately, just moderately inconvenient.

Property needs some upgrades and repairs. The sink didnt drain properly and the toilet seat was broken at the hinge making it slide when you sit. Also when you open the curtains the window pointed to a giant pile of broken junk like old fridges, broken pool chairs, rusty ac units just looked really unappealing. Otherwise clean and breakfast was nice.

This room was absolutely filthy. There was dirt in every corner, the blinds were broken with holes in them, the tub was dirty with red stuff in the corner, the doors were dirty, there was a sharp object sticking out of one of the pillows

Our room was on the side next to a indoor gun range so it was a little noisy at times. Our room needed some updating the window shade had holes in it and the faucet in the shower was coming off a little but still worked. The staff was friendly and helpful

Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. Breakfast was the usual for a Holiday Inn Express but the pancake machine wasn't operational either morning of our stay. Parking lot was not convenient for trailering a boat but the front desk attendant allowed us to use an outside outlet for charging. Would stay here again but not with a boat.

Worked out perfect for the Hot Chocolate Run. We were able to walk an easy mile to the race and the restaurant was a plus too!

The room and most staff were superb. The only downside was the woman handling the breakfast was rarely there, was missing setting out parts of the meal, like any juice, sausage, gravy, etc. That left me to wonder what filled the employee’s plates after the breakfast was over for hotel guests. The rest of the staff were excellent.

Overall the hotel was clean and quiet, which is most important to me. The coffee was horrible, I'm pretty sure it was the strongest coffee I have ever drank. The breakfast food wasn't the best, but better than I've had at other hotels. The staff that we had contact with was very courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel looks nice and clean but you can see it needs deep cleaning in the common areas. Our room had a cracked window and the parking lot had what appeared to be an abandoned car trailer. Although the rooms are marked no smoking, there was a lot of rooms being smoked in during our stay and I never heard the hotel say or do anything about it. The breakfast was below average. The quality seems lower than we have had in other holiday inns. The staff was nice but couldn’t answer simple questions like which pizza companies delivered to the hotel.

Great choice for easy access to Chattanooga at a good price

We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The hotel rooms were clean, nice size, great beds. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts, and my husband loved the pool. It's location in Hixson was just what we needed, and the price was reasonable.

Desk clerk is so nice and they have fresh baked cookies.

Customer service was rude after asking to check in an hour early over the phone after a long day of travel.

I booked a room with 2 Queen beds. But was notified after I started my travels that they had no rooms with 2 Queen beds available and the Expedia website was wrong listing what was available at hotel. There weren’t any other hotels with availability without paying $200 more a night. With this info coming to my attention in my in route travels I was not very happy. Had to make a room with a king bed and pullout sofa bed work which was not very comfortable. Needless to say I was not very happy or comfortable.

Good overnight stay, close to everything I needed. Comfy bed, bathtub is a little outdated, but water was hot and towels were fresh.

We love our stay in this hotel! Staffs are friendly, good breakfast and easy and fast transaction. We will be going back again.

Everything was awesome until the housekeeping folks started banging their carts at 7:30a in the morning and asking me every time I left the room if I was out of the room. They asked me 5 times if I had left the property.

I made a reservation here for my brother and sister-in-law who were in the area for a family event. They reported that it was a comfortable room and they had an excellent experience.

Bathroom, couch and ceiling were disgusting. Would not recommend. Extremely noisy.

I was refused my whole deposit back at check out due to "the sex smell" in the room, the woman at the front desk was rude as hell about the whole situation, the pool was in desperate need of chlorine, the pool water was slimy feeling and you can see green algae growing up the sides of the pool liner.

The night time manager was very kind and accommodating. Breakfast options were great! The hotel felt very safe. Good for families traveling with small children. The only thing I need fixed is the window in the pool room and the hot tub was advertised and not a functional amenity anymore.

The bed seemed clean but it was rounded so we both rolled off the edge. My husband actually fell off the bed in the middle of the night. The shower head kept falling and spraying outside of the shower. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly. I love how late the pool was opened but we were too tired to go.

Disappointing experience for a Holiday Inn Express. Damage to the blind let bright light into the room all night. Cheap plastic toilet seat was not properly attached to the toilet, so slid around. Toilet paper holder hanging off the wall and the bathroom walls were in poor condition with sloppy caulk repairs.

Nice area close to gas stations restaurants and shopping mall next door. Not as clean as prior holiday inns we have stayed in hair in the tub and behind the door on the floor mold on the ceiling in the bathroom carpets not vacuumed in the hallways

Upon check in, clerk argued with me. I was supposed to have a handicap shower and didn't, but he took care of that after asking for a shower chair they probably didn't have. Chair in one room had food and stains on it as if it was forgotten during cleaning. My room had mold in the shower. I've stayed in worse but not what I expect from Holiday Inn Express.

This is the halfway point of our trip and this hotel is quite convenient. The breakfast is good, the rooms fairly spacious and the front desk available. The AC is very loud. We are in and out so I can't say much about the other facilities. The hotel is tired and could use some reno, but is pretty clean.

I tried to check in at 2:55 and was told NO rooms were available to check in. I had a meeting at 4 so I wanted to freshen up, told I could use bathroom in common area. Come out a few mins later and they were checking people in. Like magically they have 4 rooms ready. One older lady must checkin every Sunday, as the young man mentioned he knew who she was as she checks in every Sunday. The room was dated but fine. Housekeeping starting at 7:00 is ridiculous. I was jolted awake at 7 by the housekeeper right outside my door vacuuming. Scared me so bad. The breakfast was awful. Either out completely, cold or the biscuits hard as a rock. I would look else where for a better place to stay.
