the room was nice, a bit small but ok. the pool was great, and parking good. so, was the accessablity. what i got wasn't what was advertise. the location wasn't close to any gas station with in walking distance. lastly, the wifi was available but very slow it was barley useable.

Upon check-in, Guy told me about transportation, shopping, and food nearby as well as entertainment options happening during my stay. The pool is lovely and I often had it to myself. Grab yourself some drinks and snacks as there is a fridge and microwave in the room but also lots of food choices in the area. If there had been an ice machine and strong water pressure in the shower, I might never have left. (I don’t know if the weak water pressure was the case on the whole property or just my room.) I absolutely would (will?) return! The brothers clearly enjoy what they do. Thank you Guy & Pierre!

For the price, you can’t beat this place. Clean room and friendly staff and just a short drive to the beach.

They welcome you with a big greeting, offer water, tips on places to visit in the area - even ask about why your here and show genuine enthusiasm about your visit. You really can’t beat it. Not their fault, I’m a tall guy so I need bigger toilets haha. Again, not their fault.

Was a nice, clean place to stay prior to an early morning flight. Host was very friendly and accommodating. A great alternative to staying at a chain hotel!

Staff/owner was SUPER friendly. It's nothing fancy, ( and make sure you bring your own toiletries) but it was CLEAN and convenient to get to both Ft. Lauderdale and Maimi (take the Brightline from Aventura station a few mins up the road). Was plenty of parking spots/street parking around - and we left a few times at all different hours. They even brought be extra pillows! I would def. recommend this motel to anyone travelling looking to avoid the crazy high prices of hotels in the area.

Clean, safe room and great outdoor space. Pool is so close and beautiful, but is on a main road which is pretty noisy. I would bring extra towels next time.

Check in was great as he was very friendly and helped us with our bags. Just stayed one night and it had everything we needed. Only negative was a very inconsiderate neighbor who blared their TV late into the night. As older motel room was not soundproof.

The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! We could have used a couple of more pillows but other than that it was great! Not fancy but had a nice pool. Very little road noise which was surprising as it is on Federal Highway.

The place is perfectly clean. The outside area around the pool is large and super welcoming. Hollywood beach is a 10min drive, quieter but as beautiful as in Miami. Pierre and his brother are incredibly welcoming and attentive to the guests' needs (thanks for giving us a room with 2 beds 🙏). And it is affordable. This motel is a gem.

Perfect place to wait for someone to get to town. Very close to FLL and a 15-minute walk from downtown Hollywood restaurants and bars. Pierre is great.

The owner went out of his way to find a parking spot for my oversized vehicle. He moved his car and parked elsewhere.

It was a one night stay and for the price it was excellent. It is and old motel but updated and very clean and in a safe area. Pierre , owner?, was very pleasant. We will definitely stay there again.

Staff weren’t helpful and the only way to reach them is through a phone infront of their office and it hardly works ( can’t hear well and they can’t hear me well

After reading many reviews I knew this was the place! We stayed overnight and it was simply amazing. Pierre was the best! So friendly and down to Earth. This place is the coolest, retro vibe for sure! The pool is pristine, the grounds immaculate and overall just wonderful. This is not a “fancy” place so if you’re looking for bells & whistles, stay elsewhere. I love unique places and this is just that. I cannot wait to stay again!

Great place to stay for the price and otherwise. The owner/manager and staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. It’s a “motel” and has a retro feel to it. But this place is extremely clean and rivals my experiences at higher end establishments. It’s obvious that the manager takes pride in this property and provides great customer service. I loved the pool as well! It’s in the center of the property and it was relaxing to hear the water everyday. Definitely will stay here again.

The owners are extremely accommodating, the property is very clean and feels very private. Very nice area right down the street from downtown Hollywood Florida. Overall, just a great experience every time I go.

I boooked this motel based on the reviews. Take in consideration the motel is a bit outdated. However it is very well maintained, super clean. I have stayed in newer and fancier hotels that are filthy! You can smell the cleanliness right when you walk in.

I really like this place and when I return to Hollywood I will look to them first. The motel structurally is right out of the '40s and '50s: tiny room, small bathroom, minimal furniture. That being said, care has been taken to modernize and refresh as much as possible: fresh paint, updated fixtures in bathroom, cable TV. The pool, while small, looked inviting but I had no time to swim. It's obvious that much work went into bringing it into this century as much as possible while keeping the '50s vibe which is set in the motel's bones. It's clean and comfortable and the owner/manager was attentive. You won't find posh or a breakfast buffet but it was perfect for me.

We arrived much later than we expected and were warmly greeted and shown to our room. This property is a bit dated, but we expected that going in. It was clean, convenient to food, and very quaint! It was just perfect for our needs, and we would absolutely stay there again!

Small and quaint but no information in room. Had to call for password and figure out how to get back through gate after going to get coffee in the morning. Key doesn’t work in gates and no coffee machines in room. It was clean, though. Felt safe on main road. Pierre very nice.

The Wi-Fi signal wasn’t as strong as I would’ve liked it to be but besides that I had a great time. The bus stop is close by where you can take it to go anywhere.

Was checked in by Peter aka Pierre. Great guy. Very likable. Was not afraid to walk us to our rooms. Has nothing to hide. Can not help but notice the outside is clean tidy and freshly painted. Rooms are small but efficient. First checked out a few places that all started with same name. Staff were shaky at best and grounds not inviting. Everything at Shell was inviting

Very nice owners, great location, the room was good sized and very clean. The only downside is the TV service kept dropping out and wifi was extremely slow, which I'm sure the owners will address since they take excellent care of the property. I would definitely stay here again.

My stay at the shell hotel was pleasant. The room was a little smaller than I originally thought, but it had a refrigerator, sink with a dual stove burner. Microwave and nice sized refrigerator. The queen sized bed was comfy . I would recommend the room for a friend or traveler. The only negative I had was parking was limited. I will stay there again . Super friendly staff 👍👍
