The location is amazing, beachfront, exclusive umbrellas and chairs, no need bring stuff or rent. The hotel looks very new. The property’s restaurant offers an awesome breakfast. It was in construction when we went there. Too much noise early on the morning. They could have breakfast included option for stay.

Very nice resort, wonderful beach, very clean and quiet. They are still doing repairs from the hurricane a few years ago, but they are doing a good job of not diminishing the guest experience.

Great room with tons of space! Loved the location and how close it was to the beach

I loved having beach access with chairs and umbrellas. Also a great location close by to all restaurants and shops. The pool was heated to about 100 degrees. In the middle of May when it is extremely hot out. It was unsafe to swim in for my son and extremely uncomfortable for us. Everyone at the pool was complaining about how hot it was. There was also a good amount of garbage on the beach, which is horrible for guests to leave behind. I just wish the staff picked it up so the rest of us didn’t haven’t to deal with the old coconuts and pineapples left at the chairs by people with no respect for the ocean or sea life.

Anna Maria Island is beautiful as St Pete, Clearwater, Bradenton and Napples - there is nothing reaaally special about it.

Very beautiful, clean, and recently updated small boutique hotel. The one bedroom suite was spacious and equipped with everything you needed. The property is right on the beach with private umbrellas and loungers. The staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. I loved everything about my stay.

Garbage cans around the beach area would be helpful. Directions on how to control the ceiling fan and ac. Otherwise all was good. Beatriz at the front desk was amazing!

Amazing place!

Resort was near perfect. Fabulous location on the beach with chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas. Super clean. Very quiet / not crowded during our stay. Relaxing atmosphere. Pool water temperature was perfect. Pool also had chaise lounge chairs with umbrellas. The tiki lounge was a great amenity. The food was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy and the free island trolley stop is just in front of resort. We will definitely go back!

This was a beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay very much. A few amenities missing in the room but we never asked about them so they might have been quickly resolved.

It was just ok at best. The beach is not private. For the expense, it was not worth it. The staff was very nice. It seemed advertised as something it is not. The truth is on and near Anna Maria island there is endless beach access points which is fine. However that isn’t what they advertised. Many mornings I would pull up a beach chair to look at the ocean and relax only to have a large family pop up a tent and 20 beach chairs and play their music right in front of me. That’s the vibe. Also it’s tough to walk the beach because people pull their chairs, sand toys, fishing poles, umbrellas,ect, ect right to the shoreline so no one can obstruct their view.

The room was comfortable and was facing the pool on the ground floor which was very nice. The pool is small. The grounds are beautiful though. And the beach is just steps away.

We found ourselves on a spontaneous trip to AM Island and had not reserved anywhere to stay. Thankfully there was some open rooms available here. Right on the beach, how great was that. What we did not expect was how beautiful the resort itself is. The rooms were gorgeous, beds soft and having a full size refrigerator was perfect. The pool was heated which was a bonus since it rained most of the time we was there. Out of the way but still close to everything. We booked for one day but liked it so much, we did another day. The woman at the counter was friendly and very helpful. We came from Pittsburgh, new to island and decided to make this a yearly trip to stay here just because we loved this resort so much. Definitely worth it to try here, you won't regret it.

Can't really get any closer to the beach. We love staying here. The pool and grounds are very nice and the beach setup is great as well.

Room was okay although I signed up for the beachfront. There was no building on the beach. It was completely gutted. It was very loud with construction and they did not tell anyone beforehand. Everyone was complainng. I did not because the people who work there are awesome and they are the middle man. It will be great when that all gets sorted out. The room, pool, bar, spa, cleaning people, front desk, and cleanliness was exceptional.

My family and I originally booked an ocean front room and when we got there to check in the receptionist informed us that our room was unavailable because it was being remodeled. Receptionist said she tried to reach us but no one contacted us to tell us anything. She offered us to stay in another room or to stay at their sister property which we declined because we wanted to stay here. The room was nice but the bathroom ceiling was filled with mold as well as the baseboards and the sink was filled with green moldy mildew. The pull out sofa had bed bugs and my mom was bit all over. The pool was not heated at all and it was cold and the pool umbrellas also had mold which was so gross. When we asked the receptionist if we could get a refund for the difference of the room she said it couldn’t be done and she was so clueless and unhelpful. She offered us 3 free drink cards as an apology for the room which was ridiculous. When we were checking out the manager named Ilkin was very nice and we informed her of our horrible experience and she said she was going to refund us the difference. My mom paid $1088 for an ocean front room for a 2 night stay and we got a pool view instead. We don’t even think that we got the correct refund and they insist we were upgraded to a better room which we were NOT because we booked the best room there on the property which was unavailable. We are so disappointed in our stay and we do NOT recommend staying here.

Wi-Fi was not good but wasn’t a big deal. All staff were very nice!! Fire pit should have been on at night around the pool. And there should have been an electric kettle. A few tweaks but would recommend because location to beach and how clean our suite was. Will return hopefully!!!

The rooms are exceptionally small. Don’t book a standard room if you have more than a backpack as there is nowhere in the room for a bag. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. But the window to the room is like a jail window and there is no room whatsoever.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. We loved the convenience of the gorgeous private beach. The grab and go food and drink options on site were also great. We did have an issue with millipedes in our initial room on the ground floor but the property manager moved us to a different room with no issue. We would 100% stay again.

When I complained at the front desk, the evening staff told me their supervisor said they couldn’t do anything and no refund was possible. For this quality, the hotel should cost around $200 per night, not $838. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone misleading photos and unfair pricing.

The rooms were spacious, quiet, and offered an incredible view that made the stay even more relaxing. One of the best parts is that the hotel is very pet-friendly, which made traveling with my pet stress-free.

Love how personable they made the experience. I shared it was my anniversary and they had a nice card and bottle of wine in the room waiting when we checked in.

Additionally, the pool area was very nicely maintained and decorated. The downside was the outdated room, which again was very nicely decorated, but with old appliances and a general run down appearance. The air conditioning vents consistently had water droplets falling to the floor. I understand I was paying for the view, but it was a lot of money for a room that was run down and outdated.

Very nice hotel right on the beach with a lovely pool and close to many restaurants. Just an FYI the photos on Hotels.com show the rooms with balconies but only a few do have that amenity and it is at a higher cost per night. If that is important contact the hotel prior to booking to confirm the balcony. Also, if you are sensitive to scented soaps and shampoos - bring your own as the one's in the hotel have a very masculine scent and although my husband loved it.... me not so much.

Stay in room 10 beachfront. May 28 - Jun 2, 2025. First night door get jammed could not get out. (Big safety issue) Maintenance had to open. The stove had only one working burner. Room was filthy and in need of updates.

Beautiful room, it was clean and had everything we needed. The attendant at the front desk was really nice and sweet and helpful and so were the other employees. It was right on the beach. They gave us complimentary drinks at the bar which was amazing! Would come back again.

We return to this hotel whenever we can. My family loves its proximity to the beach and the friendliness of all the staff. If you're ever there, be sure to try the lounge drinks, made with great care. Thaís at the front desk was incredible, as was her co-worker. I don't remember her name exactly, but I think it was Adriana (a Brazilian from Brasília). In short, this hotel won our hearts.

Definitely need to spend the extra money for balcony or ocean front view rooms. Our room was off the parking lot, very small with a small window. Felt like staying in a box, not a vacation feel. Property location and beach front was amazing along with the pool. All in all good for quick trip but definitely upgrade room if staying more than a few nights.

The property was well-taken care of and absolutely stunning! Everything was clean. Great access to the beach and the pool was great as well! Located in a perfect area with little to no traffic. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in AMI!

The wing we were given by the beach are un a really bad state. The bathroom cabinets are broken and extremely old. Kitchen also needs to get some renovations. The furniture was in good state. The sofa bed was malfunctioning. The beach view was excellent!

We absolutely loved our stay. Easy beach access and parking near our unit. Back door opened right to the pool and lounge area. Our room was ready upon arrival, which was before 4pm and we were allowed to access our unit at that time. Staff was very courteous and attentive. We had stayed here before and will be coming back real soon.

Mason and Tyese were amazing! They went above and beyond and helped answer all my questions. The lounge and pool area were great. And being beachfront on Anna Maria Island cannot be topped. The view was spectacular and we loved the beach chairs and umbrellas too. We had a wonderful time!

We had an ocean-front room. The view (and the beach) were great, but the room was extremely outdated. It looks as though most of the rest of the hotel has been renovated, and I know there have been struggles recovering from last fall's hurricane. Unfortunately, our room was dirty in places and there were dirty sheets left on the pull out sofa (with dead bugs)! The manager did not resolve the issue, which was really unfortunate (and it was a very expensive stay). Disappointed. :(

The pictures of the oceanfront rooms are mixed with other pictures from other rooms. Ocean front rooms are not updated and have moldy mildew smell , no WiFi, laundry was down.

Word of caution for anyone using the sofa beds they are extremely thin and quite painful to sleep on.

The pictures online is not the room we were in. Had concrete floors, poor plumbing, horrible smell and someone else hair on shower floor. I guess only part of resort is renovated but not a room we got. Pictures online are very deceiving and no where does it mention anything about only some rooms appear as pictured

It's a beautiful place and totally devastated about the hurricane damage but that doesn't mean this place should be charging full price and no amenities, gave 2 drink tickets and the restaurant wasn't open, could not open the waters they supplied, I really wish we were able to utilize everything since paying so much. They should fully disclose that they aren't fully staffed or open. Call ahead before going to make sure since this place is crazy expensive. Wish I could get a refund because we didn't end up staying....

Clearly a converted motel. Room safe needed to be reset, requiring staff, took over a hour. Room decor was well done. Had to request room service to clean & provide towels each day. Should have a dining option.

Beautiful waterfront room. I was expecting more for the price range, you’re basically paying for the beach access. Rooms were recently updated so they look great, but it’s just new decor on an older building. Mildew on the lamp shade and shower curtain, big hole in the kitchen wall near the fridge, tub only had shower feature, toilet wouldn’t flush had to call management twice, there was a live roach in the bathroom, a roach right outside our door (local Floridian I understand they happen). It’s just outdated. In the morning there were only 2 beach towels out and available at 8:15am. I’d give it a 6/10. Beach is great, I was just expecting to be wowed from the pictures.

The shower curtain is really dirty. The restroom had a weird smell, and the hand sink in the restroom drains really slow, and water pressure is extremely low.

Amazing hotel!!! New room, renovated in 2019, the staff are all very polite and smiling, the beach is jaw-dropping with a sensational sunset. Definitely my favorite place in Florida.

DONT USE EXPEDIA!! They wanted to cancel our whole trip because we bought tickets from JetBlue in order to get there the next day after Delta cancelled ours. Expedia was no help with the rudest customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Lost our rental car reservation also. Again Expedia was zero help. DONT USE EXPEDIA!!

The location in proximity to the beach is fantastic. They offer umbrellas and chairs on the beach. The pool and grounds were terrific. They had pool toys and beach toys for the kids. We had an oceanfront room unit 19. It was adequate but needs to be updated. The beds weren’t very comfortable, the paint was peeling off the tub and walls in certain areas, but the views were terrific. Just don’t expect the Ritz.

Terrible, run down hotel. They have no business charging what they charge a night here. The beach is beautiful. That’s about it. The room was not ready to be checked in to at 4:30. Check in time was 4. The front desk lady was RUDE. Not sorry about anything at all and RUDE. I will not be back here. Ever.

It was a great place to stay. The pull out couch wasn’t exactly comfortable but it was to be expected. Our room did have a decent sized fridge with freezer. I wouldn’t say quite full size but pretty close so there was plenty of space to store any food or beverages we wanted and they provided dishes and silverware. We only had a microwave but there are plenty of meals that can be made that way that there wasn’t an issue. The staff were attentive and prompt with any needs we had. I asked for a broom and dust pan and received one within half an hour. My suggestion would be to keep a small broom and dust pan in the hall closet of each room for those guests who don’t like walking on sandy floors in between cleanings and to have a few more stations where people can rinse their feet before going to their rooms without having to go through the pool area. A little more shade over the pool area would be nice too. The water gets hot in the summer so it’s like taking a hot bath. It’s not even a little refreshing and if it was a touch more shaded it might keep the temperature down a little bit. Over all though everything was great and the beach was only a 2 minute walk from the room so it was well worth it.

The property did not have an elevator so you have to carry your luggage up stairs! Nobody on staff seems to know anything I had to ask 5 ppl to find out where the charging station for the golf carts were. They lock the gates to the pool area which leads to the other side of the property around 9pm so you need to walk around every time. Also only 4 charging stations for golf carts in one area which made it hard if they were taken. The pool was filthy. The cafe did not have food, but drinks were good. They always ran out of towels. Location of property was nice and they did set up chairs at the beach. When the room was cleaned it wasn’t mopped or vacuumed.

The room was not cleaned properly. They did not clean our room in one day, what considering it is a close to the beach room, is a very big problem. In the day after this incident, I informed the front desk we are leaving the room around noon, so because we were without toilet paper, tissue and clean towels, (our room was not cleaned a day before) I imagined our room cleaning service would be prioritized, but it didn’t. I asked about it, and they messaged me that They typically come anytime from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. we came back from the beach later than planned, waiting for the room to be cleaned, and the room service were there… so we had to wait outside until they finished the job. The AC is absurdly loud, it is hard to sleep with such a big noise all night (and day!) There are 2 TVs in the apartment, but only one remote control working. We asked for another one, but it never came. it was hard to watch TV with only one remote control, when we were watching at the same time. The coffee machine didn't work, we had to ask 3 times to get one that worked properly. The front desk is kind, but didn’t solve the problems properly. On July 8th, the hotel was almost empty and there was no towels available to be used on the beach. And to finish, I don’t understand why the place is called Resort, since is a small and with minimum resources available.

Location is good for beachfront and little walking to get to the beach, which is why i reserved it, for my elderly mother’s convenience. However, Place is outdated. Also our sliding door lock was broken and did not lock. When i reported it, they took about three hours of my time trying to figure out how to fix it. I requested another room on first floor and they didnt have one. They were unable to fix the sliding door but told me not to worry, i was in a safe place anyway, crime rate was low and promised to fix it the next day, which they didn't do that either . They provided me with some type of security stick to prevent the sliding door from opening. Spoke to management they promised to refund me some money for the inconvenience, that never happened. When i tried calling them, they started to send my call to voicemail and no one ever helped me or called me back. I had a terrible experience for the amount i paid.

The suite was beautiful and immaculate. The bedding was so soft and comfortable. Sheets were beautiful mattress was great I was impressed with the decor. The beach was beautiful. Only negative is no Restarant on premises.

Beautiful place, friendly staff, beach access is unmatched. Great restaurants within walking distance. Will def be back for another stay.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. The location is steps from the beach, which was exactly what we were looking for. It is however also a public beach access, so arrive early.

Not really bad but not worth $700+ per night. The staff was very nice. The room was clean. The property is old with cheap decor and few amenities.

Most beautiful beach!!!! We were comfortable and had all we needed. Bali Hai made us feel welcomed and took great care of us.

Rooms were much larger than we expected. Provided large beach towels & cleaned room daily.
