The hotel was in poor condition. The rooms smelled like mildew. Could use a lot of updates. Definitely not advertised correctly when comparing to the actual condition of the hotel.

There was no complimentary breakfast. The restaurant closed too early after breakfast. We did not have a car. But the shuttle took us to get donuts. Can't say enough good about the shuttle and the employees at the desk, as well as cleaning staff.
- 5/5
Shuttle was efficient and easy to find.

You couldn’t take a shower in the room that we stayed in. A repair guy “fixed it” but then stopped working again and had to finish my hair in the sink.
- 3/5
Pictures were of a remodel hotel and it was not remodeled yet.
- 3/5
My issue concerns the bistro. We should have been informed before stay that it would be closed for lunch and dinner. The website clearly states it was to be open. That was something that we were counting on for this stay and was rather a challenge to figure out meals.
- 3/5
Room smelled musty and moldy, carpet was dirty. There weren’t complete amenities in the bathroom as stated on site (no lotion). Breakfast was a little misleading. But overall for one night good choice, close to airport.

Very friendly staff and shuttle service!!
- 4/5
Check-in was quick and very professional — the agent was polite, guest-oriented, and provided all the necessary information. The evening front desk associate was also very friendly and helpful with my requests. Breakfast staff were welcoming and attentive. On the downside: the room was not cleaned throughout the day (if housekeeping is by request only, guests should be informed). I also requested a wake-up call at 3:00 AM, but unfortunately it did not happen, and I almost missed my flight. Additionally, a breakfast to go was promised and included in my stay, but it was not provided. Despite these issues, the overall impression is positive. With better communication, the service could be excellent.

Couldn't get wifi in the room. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and we had to leave at 6:30. I think wanted a hotel that served breakfast and we couldn't even benefit from it. Wasted money.
- 5/5
I absolutely love staying at this hotel. I stay here at least 6 times a year. The staff is always really nice & accommodating & the hotel is always clean. I just stayed here this past weekend & was elated to see that we now have a microwave in our room!

Overall,we had a convenient and comfortable stay. The parking and breakfast choices though were only limited.

Staff was very friendly and willing to extend themselves to ensure a pleasant guest experience. Food and dining service were remarkably good. Shuttle service was timely and friendly. Only negative was a bit of a dank smell when we first entered our room, but seemed to moderate during the stay. Overall, very good value for the cost.
- 3/5
It could be listed as Bonvoy. Or even just courtyard. There are many listings of courtyard by the Marriott. It’s confusing

Rooms are old and outdated, the water in the tub took a long time to flush like it was clogged. You have for them to clean your room

Next door to big Marriott where meetings were and about half the cost Weak Wi-Fi on 3rd Floor. Only one person at check/in meant I had to wait 10-minutes to check/in

My room have a STENCH smell. The exit door by my room doesnt work with the key so i have to enter thru the front door. I ask the front desk and she said thats the emergency exit. She lie to cover the inconvenient. There was a homeless person sitting at the exit door for hours and I couldnt get to my car.

The carpet was wet, and there was a mold smell in the entire room.

Our stay was short but pleasant. The hotel overall was very clean. Felt that mattress might need updating, but overall very clean. Would certainly recommend. Good location

Oscar at the front desk was super sweet & very helpful! The other staff was very friendly as well, the hotel was very clean & nice also the restaurant was good & great service! WiFi signal could have been better, signal didn’t reach my room properly but worked by the front desk & business area.

It's just an average hotel. Not offering complimentary breakfast was unfortunate, especially in light of the ridiculously high prices for breakfast there. We have stayed at much nicer places over the past year with similar prices. However, this place did not earn the right to charge the prices that they did! I doubt we will return.
- 5/5
Location is off 45 and is very noisy but it doesn’t affect the noise in the room. Just outside. It is a good place to stay for business and good location close to the airport.
- 2/5
The rooms really have a bad smell
- 2/5
Very dated hotel. Its in the process of being renovated. I checked into the room. Did not find it upto the mark and left the hotel immediately. They were nice to issue the refund and I really appreciate the hotel manager for that.
- 1/5
They couldn’t get the wifi to work, moved me to another room, still barely worked. They pretty much ignored me when I told them, until I actually went to the front desk. The shower only had hot water so I couldn’t shower they never attempted to fix that situation either. Horrible employees and horrible hotel. Don’t stay here.
- 5/5
Everything was great from when I checked in until I left.
- 4/5
Shuttle was available to provide transportation within 3 miles of facility for food or shopping. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Room was clean.

Thought there might be a complimentary breakfast. Wife wiped a good size spot on floor of chips, a water, and a candy bar. Almost $16. Could not set the clock.
- 4/5
I visit here frequently. The staff is accommodating. The hotel is always clean & comfortable.
- 5/5
Super convenient to the airport. Friendly staff and comfy beds. Only small complaint is the very obvious musty smell throughout the property.
- 3/5
That being said, the property is dingy, damp, and sort of creepy feeling. There was a random anchor left in the wall that I actually thought was a camera for a split second. There was a moldy, musty smell to the place and the tiles in the bathroom were broken and coming up when we walked on them. I’d read that there was free long term parking at this location, but when the front desk staff directed me to the third party website where I could purchase a spot for $56, I realized that the information I’d originally read was untrue. I would not have booked if I’d known. We ended up getting long term parking at a garage closer to the airport for half the price. The property pictures online do not reflect the reality of the hotel- I would highly recommend that travelers choose another hotel in the area. (Thought not the immediate area- weird vibes.)
- 3/5
Booked this hotel due to decent reviews but was very disappointed. The hotel is okay, strong cleaning smell trying to mask the musty smell, old and outdated room furniture, the shower temp is hard to control, it gets too hot and cold and due to that water pressure was low can't enjoy a nice shower. Beds are comfortable, there's a mini fridge, coffee maker but no microwave. The latina at the front desk was friendly and the house keepers. But the person checked me in need the training or has no costumer service whatsoever. You really don't even need training for that just be nice. When I checked in no one was at the desk and had to wait until someone that was sitting on the corner popped her head and just looked at me with no "hello how can I help you?" So I said I'm checking in. Didn't say a word or whatever. I'm a Marriott member and was not even acknowledged that. No other information given for the hotel. Just gave my room card that's it. Walking in the hotel you can smell a strong smell of weed. The area looks unsafe. I will not pay the amount I paid for this hotel. It's sad that it's a Marriott cause it's nothing like it.
- 3/5
The carpet is old, the kind where you do not want to walk around barefoot! The hallways smell as soon as you exit the elevators. The shower was nice and free of mold and mildew! The bed was comfortable and the room was dark when the curtains are closed! It is not located in a very nice area. No free breakfast but there are several tea within walking distance.
- 5/5
Amazing place with amazing staff!
- 5/5
T.V. had some challenges but they fixed the problem fast
- 4/5
Not super comfortable but livable for 1 night. Tiles in bathroom by tub sounded & felt broken.
- 1/5
Telephone in room did not work. Ice machine on floor broken. Needs to be updated.
- 5/5
The room was clean and well maintained
- 5/5
Staff at the front desk was amazing. Personable & sweet!
- 2/5
The room accommodations were horrible. Worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We have 4 people staying, only 3 towels in room. Called over and over, couldn't get anyone. Finally someone answered and said no one was available to bring a towel up. Beds were worst we have ever slept on, spring in my back all night. Pillows-paper thin. Ice machine was broken. It was all around a very unpleasant stay. We have never had a Marriott experience like this.
- 5/5
Great family place, quite and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Nice building but there definitely needs to be a refresh. The tub was peeling with exposed rust
- 5/5
Excellent and very close to the airport
- 1/5
The staff that checked us in was not friendly at all and whenever we walked in and out, they never said hello or were welcoming. Even the person working the breakfast area was very, very unfriendly. Plus the yogurt was expired and the blueberries had mold on them. We will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Great staff and very friendly and clean
- 4/5
It’s a very convenient area , near the airport and relatives we have there. The pool area looks nice but there were no towels available. After 2 times walking over to the reception area , we finally got towels. We didn’t know we had to request housekeeping , when we did, we asked for it and we were told it was too late, however we did get fresh towels for the bathroom but no bed making. We did try calling the reception desk and housekeeping a couple of time but no one answered or the “voicemail “ was full and we couldn’t leave a message. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and appropriate when we arrived
- 3/5
Rooms need to be updated, they smelled musty and mildewy, beds need to be a better quality
- 4/5
it was warm in room
- 3/5
Was expecting it to be very comforting and neat , but it was OK Very old hotel
- 5/5
I have stayed here several times for work. It’s convenient. The wine prices are way too high. It’s a working man’s hotel and the wine is way too expensive there.
- 5/5
Great service and wonderful staff
- 4/5
Parking was not clear nor defined. Access to it was a bit odd. Area don’t seem too safe.
- 1/5
I had to pay to get a room, after I had booked and paid your company Travelocity I am very disappointed in Travelocity,, I tried to call your company. I tried to get in touch online no resolve, I hope it check out tomorrow morning. I will get a refund,
- 5/5
Perfect except for the wine prices - those are a little high.
- 2/5
The beds were absolutely horrible. Very hard. The room smelled so bad. We constantly coughed all night. The carpet was damped and musty smell. I wouldnt recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean hotel, but none of the ice machines worked
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Kinda sketchy neighborhood but its gated.
- 3/5
It was ok
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, they let us check in a few hours early after getting off a cruise! The pool was very clean and a nice temperature, and the airport shuttle was super convenient and easy to use!
- 2/5
Kind of expensive for the property, it was too old and look dirty. No daily cleaning service until the 3rd day if you ask for it.
- 4/5
The room was very well laid out very modern and updated. The walls though paper thin. Wasn’t too bad of a problem but we could hear the room next door or even ppl talking in the hall, the cleaning ppl talking. So if your a light sleeper take some ear plugs. The lobby didn’t have ACE not sure if they were broke but had fans on. Room ace worked great! Bed was comfortable, sofa was too, mini fridge, tv, desk everything we needed and good eateries close by we enjoyed tequila 45.
- 5/5
The property was very nice and the airport shuttle was quick and on time.
- 2/5
We had to call front desk 3-4 times to send someone to unclogged toilet
- 4/5
Good. Especially the shuttle drivers and the front desk staff.
- 4/5
Good customer service, the rooms were very clean. The fan in the bathroom was loud at times. Windows need to be updated; you can hear a lot of outside noise. Overall, I would stay here again if needed.
- 4/5
It was close to Hobby Airport, which is why I chose it.
- 2/5
We expected a lot more from the Marriott Courtyard brand. The hotel was old and not well maintained. Our room had a foul odor and the A/C did not work. Staff was not very friendly at all. Definitely will not stay here again.
- 3/5
While I cannot say this was the worst Marriott that Ive stayed, I also cannot bring myself to say this was the best. The exterior of the building is in need of pressure washing so that the windows were not obstructed with mold, mildew, and algae. Made it challenging to determining what the weather was outside or time of day. The bathrooms need overhauling to include repairing the fixtures where they are not constantly dripping. This should save the company money in the long run. Lastly, a quarterly desensitization and cleaning of the carpets in and out of the rooms would help with the dead smell as well as improve the air quality.
- 5/5
Convenient and friendly staff.
- 2/5
We were told breakfast was available but we went and it was a Starbucks. I ordered for my daughter & I and they forgot her meal. I was told I could have coffee in my room or buy it. I went to my room and couldn’t open the door. Housekeeping tried and also couldn’t open it. I went to the front desk & maintenance was called. We sat for over a 1/2 hour before I went back to desk to check status. I was told that maintenance went up & door was open. No one bothered to tell me. Went to room to find our door wide open while all of our belongings, including my wallet were out in the open. Worst stay at a Marriott property ever
- 5/5
friendly staff
- 3/5
The staff were friendly and property seemed to be pretty clean. The lobby was nice and was more modernized. However the rooms needed to be updated and they didn’t represent the Marriott brand well at all. The beds were comfortable and seemed pretty clean.

Very good service but need remodeling. Hotel really showing its age.
- 4/5
nice
- 4/5
The hotel was nice. The only downside was having to go to the front desk for ice.
- 5/5
Grandson joined the military and they had him stay here before leaving for MEPS. That’s why we stayed here. Would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Older hotel. It's in an area not great for walking. But the staff were great. Beds were way too hard and uncomfortable.
- 3/5
Convenient to airport and inexpensive. Shuttle from airport was OK, but mornings back to airport were a struggle. Ended up taking an Uber. Check in was slow but accommodating. Don’t stay on the highway side - I don’t usually care, but it was very noisy. Rooms were spacious but dingy and dated.
- 4/5
Easy access to interstate. Quiet room, no complaints.
- 5/5
Great Marriott service. Food at Bistro was excellent and fast.
- 2/5
When we got to check in, four people in front of us and very slow getting checked in. Only one front desk staff and she did not seem to know what she was doing, didn’t tell us when check out was, nothing. Hallway smelled horrible. Food and drink on site too expensive. The whole hotel was fenced in making it hard to walk to a restaurant next door. Pillows were terrible.
- 3/5
I really like the 24/7 free shuttle to and from the airport
- 4/5
Good location and room was very clean. Entire hotel was very nice. Bed mattress was hard, but I had to get up early anyway
- 5/5
Clean exelente people
- 5/5
Great value and easy assess to and from Houston Hobby airport with the free shuttle.
- 4/5
The staff was great!
- 3/5
Staff was nice and helpful, check in and check out was very easy. Has gated parking so made me feel safer leaving my car there.
- 3/5
My vent leaked all night into the toilet then shower was a bit dirty but overall the stay was not bad
- 5/5
The front desk was so welcoming & sweet. We had an issue w the television not working they got someone down there quick, when it couldn’t be fixed they switched us rooms within 5 minutes.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice staff
- 5/5
Great Customer Service Very Clean Room
- 5/5
This was the best hotel experience i ever had!! The staff was really nice they even gave us room at 10am rather than making us wait until 3pm . And they allowed us to to check out late for no extra charge. The most nicest and convenient hotel experience every. Also they have airport shuttle every 30mins .
- 5/5
Very nice, friendly establishment!
- 5/5
Internet down while time we were there.
- 5/5
The hotel and the staff were excellent. I didn’t rent a car, however, the shuttle took me to the restaurant and picked me up.
- 3/5
there wasn't any refrigerator in the room coffee maker wasn't great
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 4/5
The upper floors seem to need renovations. The 2nd floor had a musty smell. The first floor looks like it has been remodeled and was in better shape
- 3/5
The check in was quite long, especially sonce i checked in early through Marriot Bonvoy.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
The neighborhood seemed unsafe and the side street to exit on has tremendous potholes and has not been maintained well by the City of Houston.
- 5/5
All was good. Nice place to stay
- 1/5
The wallpaper was peeling off the walls at the seems it was so damp, the carpet almost felt mushy because it hadn’t been cleaned in so long. The worst part was the room felt damp or almost wet. My throat hurt after sleeping in this room. This is just my opinion, but there has to be mold in this hotel as damp as everything feels. That is why I think my throat hurt every morning I woke up. Let me just say, I don’t typically leave reviews, but here is your warning from someone who works in Houston several times a year, DO NOT stay here.
- 2/5
Booked a handicap accessible room with walk in shower... got a room with a doorbell!!!!!!!!!!!!
- 1/5
The lack of amenities, pool was closed and no Jacuzzi. Dining limitations meant I DoorDashed lunch and dinner. A run down neighborhood meant I didn't feel comfortable walking to Denny's 2 miles away. It was an older property that just hasn't been kept up and updated. The staff was super friendly and don't want to rip on them, but I'd never go back.
- 5/5
It’s right next to the freeway but I never heard it, the area around is very industrial!
- 2/5
Plus side - staff was great.
- 4/5
Had a couple of issues, but the front desk promptly took care of them. No complaints. Staff was very good!
- 4/5
Ieshia was an outstanding front desk person she was above and beyond in helping guest
- 5/5
Good place for a night in town
