Reviews
The hotel is generally clean and offers a convenient location, with some guests returning for multiple visits. However, the staff's customer service is inconsistent, ranging from friendly to extremely rude, and the hotel has strict policies regarding visitors and parking.

Room was walk on the floor bare foot clean! Excellent cleanliness for a $80 hotel room! Loved it! Strict 2 person requirement per room keeps the hotel nice and quiet as well as absolutely no pets! Which is also a plus for a cheap getaway from the wildlife of Houston! Will definitely come again when I travel back to Houston! Thank you!

Check in was through a really thick glass. The staffer checking me had no greeting smile and no words of welcome. His only words were spoken in a thick accent (possibly from India): "Driving License" ... no please and thank you. Perhaps English was not his forte? But courtesy? Pleasantness? Those have nothing to do with ethnicity. Altho' the room was very spacious, it was sooooo drab and gloomy inside - no pictures on the wall. The walls were a gloomy pale blue. The furniture looked second-hand and cheap. I had asked for a No Smoking when booking on line. I did not get this. There were ashtrays (emptied and matchbooks in the room). The cheesy, cheap blanket had a cigarette burn hole on it. The TV programming availability was years old with only a few channels available. The bathtub was chipped in places, exposing black. Evidence of mold on the tub/shower faucet. Altho' its LOCATION convenient for this past visit, I will NOT be going back there.

The staff was very rude. I tried to extend my stay and the guy behind the desk said i couldn't use the company card because it wasn't in my name. He did like that i went through the app to make my reservation.

This is visit 4 or 5 and would go back again.

Facility suited my needs, was clean but attention to bed and couch covers is needed. Gated area with staff over watch of vehicles.

The Crystal Suites is what I would classify as a "quick stop on a long trip" if you're on a tight budget. It won't have the amenities you'd expect from a "brand" hotel, but I did feel safe. The property and the parking lot were very well-lit. There aren't any frills. I had to go to the office to get my morning coffee, but there was a frig and micro wave in the room.

This is my 5th or 6th time staying here. It is perfect for quick stays. Always clean, convenient, and the staff is friendly.

First and foremost i booked this hotel because it said it was pet friendly. I arrived to the hotel to check in around 10pm. As I walked up to the window, the attendant stares at me upset. I have my ID ready and let him know i had already booked and paid a room in advance. He got an attitude about it and started yelling at me telling me i havent paid yet. He begins to tell me i havent paid before he even checks the computer for my info. After about 3 mins of arguing and trying to make him understand to check first before he makes assumptions he finally did and checked me in. I asked him about the dog policy he said they were not allowed. Even thogh the website clearly says theyre allowed here. So i had no choice i still brought them in but not til later on that night. I had also asked about late check out he said i would have to do it in the morning. So after all this he saw me thru camera sneaking in the dogs and started calling my room.By this time its already 2am. He told me it was a $20 pet fee. He could of just told me that from the beginning. So i paid my extra $20 i go back to my room. Not even 5 mins later he is knocking on my door aaking me to sign something else. I signed it. But then he was trying to charge me anothet additional $10 for my other dog. When he already knew i had two dogs. (One is a full grown the other just a puppy.) After a long night i managed to get a little rest. In the morning around 10 i called for a late check out they said it would b 30$ xtra

The booking page does not mention this and with no refunds you will be stuck to deal with management who are not very understanding.

This was my second trip to this motel and will use them again. It's not fancy but if you want a quiet, clean, and friendly place to stay for a quick trip, this is the place. It is just off a major highway and near the beltway but I've never hear a thing. The blackout curtains make sleeping a breeze.

The hotel was clean and as expected for the price. The bad experience was from the man in in the office when we checked in. We got in really late and he kept saying no guests allowed, looking out the window at my car to my husband, made my husband go in and pay, and again told him no guests. They must have a problem with hotel parties or something lol but it just made me feel very uncomfortable and not welcome. But, you get what you pay for I guess. The room itself was clean and the staff in the morning were super friendly.

Not a like or dislike, just took over 5 minutes for the water to get hot in the shower. Every thing else was great. Clean room, quiet, and friendly.
- 2/5
The service was bad they couldn’t speak English. My sheets was spotted pillows flat shower wasn’t working an the toilets had spots plus the people in office was just watching us

I gave this place a second stay because it was so close to truck parking. Management is unnecessarily rude. They saw me loading my vehicle on the morning of my check out, but still rang my phone to tell me it was time to go!!!!!! Who does that! Mind you, my wife and I are clean and quiet and do not cause trouble. Poor customer service !!!! Do not give your business here.
- 3/5
Had problems with the TV and microwave, but someone came to fix. Okay for a trucker who just wants a good night's sleep.
- 4/5
parking rooms where clean

Overall the hotel is okay. There is a lot of traffic in and out of people all night. Management really helped out with surveillance evidence.

It was horrible. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I am not Boujee by far. I came to Houston for a party and just needed somewhere to lay my head. I had no idea it would be with roaches. That place is a very nasty place. The sheets were yellow and I had to run the water for 30 minutes just to get it WARM. Unbelievable customer service. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I wish I could leave the picture I got of them roaches but it’s not letting me.
- 4/5
It was ok.

It was small and dirty and did not match what I anticipated.

First of the office staff is creepy. They will literally stare at you through this big window in the office. They make it obvious you are being watched. It reminded me of when I worked units in a prison. i rented a room and had someone come to pick me up so we could carpool to an event and within 1 minute of my folks being on property the office called me to tell me No guests allowed. That was embarrassing. Also, as I exit my room I smelt piss in the corner. The sheets had holes in them and kinda stunk. There were stains on the couch. it was obvious a thorough cleaning is rarely done. The safety latch on the door was broken so I had to sleep with my firearm on the bed incase someone simply kicked in my door. The office convinced me not to rebook with Expedia and they would offer me the same rate for an additional night. I listened to them and they charged me an extra dollar. i don’t know why but whatever. I took pictures of the conditions of the room just in case I receive any threatening responses as I have from posting reviews on companies. I couldve stayed in another inn/motel/hotel/air bnb that would’ve treated me as an adult. Ive been in law enforcement most of my career and they made me feel as though I was there conducting some illegal activities or something. Just to walk to and from my car you should see how the office staff be starring. Very uncomfortable.

The first room we were given was nasty didn’t look like it had really been cleaned there was hair in the bed sheets and what appears to be blood or vomit all over the box spring of the bed the carpet was matted down in some spots too we went to the front desk and were given another room that had just been cleaned moments before we got there box spring of bed had blood or vomit all over it carpet matted down all the furniture in both rooms looked as if was pulled off the side of the road all the wood was falling apart the only reasons we stayed was it would take to long to get refunded and it was too late at night to find another hotel

The staff charged me for 2 different rooms and refusing to give my money back.

Rude receptionist No visitors allowed Lonely environnent
- 4/5
pleasant staff generally satisfied even though the location is awkward because of all the road work in progress (not the hotel fault
- 3/5
Kind of weird that there was not one table lamp all the lights were in the ceiling so you had to get out of bed to shut the light off. It would have been much better if you could pull the solid curtain all the way closed with just the see through one all the safety lights shown in the room and there was no way to prevent it. Other than that it was okay.

It does not have breakfast, unless you call Tang, coffee and old package muffins breakfast, but it was surprisingly clean. The mattress a king bed I could feel the wire spring, very bad to sleep.
- 3/5
About what you would expect from a truck stop motel, only worse. Barely lukewarm water and never recieved more than a single towel for a 2 night stay despite asking several times. Terrible even for the price.
- 5/5
Quick and simpleAt first they gave me an upstairs apartment but see if my wife was handicapped they gave me a downstairs so that was very helpful
