Room wasn't what they advertised

Upon check in the room was filthyso I had to re-clean everything I was never asked about pets or told anything about a pet deposit and then after I had been there a week they want to spring a $200 deposit on me out of nowhere When I tried to pay for the next week 100 of its was non refundable rooms are so small

It was dirty even though it was a no-smoking room, it smelled horrible and when I went outside it smelled strongly of marijuana, awful. They didn't come to clean the room even once.

It was disgusting and unacceptable. We didn’t even stay the night — we checked out immediately and went to another hotel down the road. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else. This place needs a serious deep clean and renovation before anyone should consider staying here.

All the staff were great but the property and surrounding area was absolutely horrible. I was fighting roaches my entire stay. The surrounding area didn’t seem to be to safe.

I immediately went to the front desk with pictures & videos and the manager seemed to not care at all. All he said was that i booked with third party & that i have to take my issues up with them. Reached out to hotels.com customer support, & of course i could not get a reimbursement. Highly DO NOT recommend this hotel at all especially if you are traveling with family ***the pictures i post are all different roaches lol, not the same one.***

Disgusting. The pictures on the app are not pics of the property. We checked out as soon as we saw the bugs in the room and how filthy it was. Holes in the walls broken fixtures and the entire place smelled horrible.

The girl at the front desk was so helpful. An extra towel requested, delivered to the room w a smile after having to fetch it from laundry. I’m old-fashioned, so good service makes up for things that will certainly be enhanced during the ongoing remodel.

We were greeted by the many roaches in the restroom when we had to jimmy the door that was off of the hinge the room was scorching hot and very damp needs a full overhaul a individual called the ambulance and was smoking outside at the same time very confusing indeed

There was a big dog barking and the stink of marijuana in the hallway. There's nowhere to store clothes and homeless people asking for money and going into the hotel lobby expecting you to buy them something.

Terrible hotel conditions. The building was under construction and its located literally next to a strip club. The hallways smell bad and the carpet is extremely dirty and smells like mildew. I was in room 168 which was infested with roaches. Not two or three but hundreds of roaches. I notified the front desk and was given rm 116 which was also infested with roaches. I was given a bottle of bug spray and told there would be no other room that didn’t have roaches because of the construction.

Worst experience ever, had to leave lights on the whole night because as soon room was dark thousands of roaches everywhere. Roaches on my luggage, my bed ,one night stay was like an horror movie. This place is not a hotel is a homeless shelter very unsafe and stinky. Don’t stay here please!!

The roaches were everywhere!! This is so unclean and unsanitary!! I am going to report this to the health department. I can't believe this establishment would book this room to a paying customer!! I had small children with me. I wasn't able to sleep because roaches were literally crawling on the bed and headboard. This is completely unacceptable, something needs to be done!! I am very unsatisfied with my stay and request a full refund!! I am also going to post my review to google and yelp

I can handle just about anything but the one thing I cannot deal with is roaches. From the moment we walked in you could see the tiny roaches all over everything. Our luggage had them and even the bed. When we let the office know and asked them to move us they didn't end up doing anything about it until the next day after I had to repeatedly call and go down to the office and remind them. The next room was a bit better, still had roaches but not as many. They were still crawling on our things. The first room that was infested was room 245 and the second was 213. Beware of these rooms!

I will never go there again !!! The hotel and room was dirty and nasty ....The room had dog poop stuck to the floor . And I woke up at midnight to a bunch of people fighting in the hallway . I felt very unsafe there. True story

Well for starters they put us up stairs when I asked for downstairs which was smoking and we wanted no smoking then for wife who is handicapped they didn’t have an elevator so up and down stairs was very hard on her.Then to top it all off was the roaches we told manager and all she could say was maintenance would be in the am so I went down got a can of bug spray and sprayed all around the baseboard and bathroom as they came out then Saturday morning they came in and resprayed the room and when we got back that night they were all over dying or dead still had a few coming out thru the night yes they were remodeling the rooms but it needed to be completely exterminated now the area was ok people left us alone for the most part also they showed they were pet friendly but didn’t say anything about charges for pet til after we start checking in they needed to state that in their info for pet charge over all it’s a very bad rating from us cause of the bugs

Smell of cigarette smoke was present when I entered the front door. They had portable fans in the hallways. Trust me, don't stay at this hotel at any price!

I arrived in Houston on a layover. I was extremely tired. I entered the room there was no pillow cases on my pillows one of thr pillows was stained with something possibly blood. The room was full of bugs. I told the lady at the front desk she told me house keeping was gone for the night. This didn't help me since i was only in town for one night. I wouldn't be returning to that hotel again.

So many roaches I couldn’t count. On the toilet, sink, bed, floor, wall, etc. staff was nice. People often stand around outside of buildings by parking and entrances. Had ppl knock on door that work there. Door and kitchenette wall look horrible. Missing paint, marks , and stains.

Pictures for this property only vaguely represent the actual hotel. Place is very run down, full of people who live there, very unsavory tenants. In our 2 night stay we heard multiple fights outside our room, AC in the hallway didn't work. Hallway was also undergoing renovations right outside of our room and we were told not to step on the tiles being placed making it where we couldn't enter or exit our room. The pool was closed, the grass was overgrown. The AC filter in the room was so clogged with dust and so nasty that it looked like shag carpet when pulled out. We had to clean them just to have the AC work decently. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Some of the electrical plugs didn't work. Paint was peeling on the walls. Some of the lights didn't work, and other light fixtures were cracked and/or damaged. Room had an odd smell. Bathroom again was nothing like the pictures having an old and rather nasty bathtub instead of a walk in shower. Stains on the ceiling and walls in the bathroom. Floors were so dirty that walking barefoot would turn your feet black within just a few steps. Desk staff were informed and only said "Oh I'm sorry" as if they didn't care. Ice machine on the bottom floor was broken. Laundry facilities were "closed for maintenance" but obviously were never opened. Swimming pool looked ok but was "Closed" with no reason given. Heat in the hall going to the upstairs ice machine was brutal and the smell was awful. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

(The air filters look like they have not been cleaned in years. In the afternoon t2cthe front desk lady there on Monday August 5, 2024 was very rude and would not warm up our food knowing our room did not have a microwave.

Very dirty, would recommend another place. Save your money, spend a lil more.

They are in the middle of remodeling so a few things can be excused. But yhe dogs barking so loud was annoying.

Room service came to the room, I asked them to comeback later, they never did. Killed two roaches while there. You had to navigate through mud on the sidewalk to get inside using the back entrance.

The front dresk tried to act like there was no big issue with roaches being in the rooms. There was hotel doors that were kicked in with crime scene tape all around the doors. I felt extremely disgusted and unsafe in this hotel for maybe the 10 minutes that I spent in there. There was many drug deals going on inside the hotel as well as full of very sketchy people. Also, when I contacted Hotels.com for my refund the hotel, tried to lie and say that I checked in early although I checked in at 4PM and check in time is 3PM. Trying not to give me my money back. But I chatted with Hotels.com and I was able to get a full refund after threatening to go to my bank and dispute the charges. DONT STAY HERE, especially is you have children.

Front desk staff is fine, hotel proximity to airport for an early flight was the only reason for booking. Turns out I could not sleep due to roaches crawling on the table and bed. Bathroom was Dark dark, so I skipped that also. If you are looking at this place skip it and sleep in your car

Check in was through a window like it was a fast-food restaurant. That was all I needed to see. I called Expedia, IMMEDIATELY, and got another hotel. I did not feel safe.

This hotel was terrible, we stayed on the 2 nd floor The hallway was very dirty and smelly, our room was dirty with lights missing…. The worst part was the room had cockroaches

The entire building was under repair. The doors had been kicked in and were damaged from the inside. The tv had the wires yanked out and no reception. The entire hallway had tile missing, looks like they were replacing some of it. The only entrance was the front door and I was in room 152 at the back of 2 long hall ways. The lobby had signs and material everywhere. Had I known the building was under repair, I probably would not have reserved it. I did not stay because when I went out for dinner, I received a phone call from my home in Illinois and had to return the next day for a medical emergency. I had not even unloaded my baggage because it was so far to carry it to the room, I was going to take it with me when I returned. I did not go back to the hotel as I decided I should head for home. I did try calling the lobby all evening as I was driving back to Illinois, but I could not get anyone to answer. I figured I would have to pay for the room for one night, but figured I could cancel the 2nd night's stay. I could not get anyone to answer the phone and after midnight I didn't suppose they would cancel the 2nd day anyway. I was a 12- hour drive and I could never get in touch with anyone at the lobby. Next time I will call and make my reservations by myself.

I was unable to stay because there was no electricity. All patrons currently staying were sitting out in the loby in the heat. i tried calling but no answer. Could be due to lack of electricity. Not sure why they continue to take bookings when they do not have electricity.

Walls and head of bed scratched and drawings on them. Light fixture dirty. Paint stripping of wall. Strong smell of smoke and other things. Dirt mark on walls. Very bad!.

Failure to honor an online reservation and no help whatsoever in resolving it

We got lucky with finding the last room due the hurricane and it having power. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The property its self was not the best but you can tell they are in the process of redecorating the hotel. The room did the job for a shower and ac sleepover. Can’t complain. They are dog friendly, People from storm brought in their dogs.

Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was told that they were overbooked and was told to request a refund from Expedia.

When you’re looking for a hotel that day this is normally a reason why. I live in Houston and was looking for somewhere to go. Called the hotel was told they had power. Once we pulled in everything was black. No one was at the front door to even say we are closed. We drove 45 mins just to have to turn around and go home. It would be nice if something weather related happened that there could be away to let people know before paying for a room that now I have to wait to get reimbursed for the room. But I will say the hotel it self didn’t feel safe at all.

The first room stunk from cigarette smoke and the AC had flooded the floor. We were put upstairs (no elevator) in a second room that reeked with smoke, roaches crawling on the wall, unclean walls, refrigerator leaking water. Do not stay here.!

It needs a serious deep cleaning from top to bottom.. to start despite the half done renovations if that's what u want to call it .. the place is nasty overwhelmed with roaches so bad they get into everything u have u can't set anything down or they will be in it.. food. Drinks. Clothes purse I even found them on my pet never again! I couldn't even sleep there

The bed sheet had a hole like cigarette burn n there was a small cockroach at the bathroom. I won’t stay again there.
