Hilton Garden Inn Houston/Galleria Area

Parking was awful and was $25 a night - way too high. Toiletries smelled awful. Room walls were so thin we not only heard the neighbors but could smell their food & fragrances. Staff was friendly and attentive.

The lobby looked like we were staying at a high end hotel. They even had excellent snack and drink choices. They even had cold can beer to enjoy by the pool. The staff was so nice and there was always someone near by the help when needed . The staff communicated effectively and efficiently and made sure we were well taken care of . This property even had a full restaurant and bar. This property resembles the Hilton Island resort in Galveston, Tx which made it feel like we were on vacation. The pool/ hot tub area was cleaned. The hotel rooms were exceptionally clean nothing was missed or dirty by the cleaning staff. This hotel even has a microwave / mini fridge. The bathroom provided makeup wipes which was a major bonus for me!! The only thing I did not like about the property was the parking price of $25 per day which I think was a little high

I never leave review but this property was even better than the photos. Everything was so nice we were super impressed with this hotel. We pulled in and were already blown away. Location to Galleria area is main reason we stay here. Easy checkin too.

Very clean, this property represents itself just like the photos on booking.com shows. Pool water and hot tub was crystal clear and clean . Gym area clean gym bathroom clean . Rooms clean and no smells. Staff were excellent. This place represents the Hilton brand. We stayed here because Hilton Embassy suites down the street was a huge misrepresentation of its property. Be aware that the property is right next door to a strip club, they charge for parking and don't tell you how much it is. The room was smaller than i thought it would be. There is a parking garage in the rear of the hotel. The shower/tub looked dirty, I don't know if it was just old. When I checked in there was no one at the front desk and I had to wait a while till someone came from the office. When the employee did check me in he didnt tell me what my room number was or did he write it on the cards till I asked. Then i had to ask him where I needed to go since I have never been there before. It was like he was clueless. I didn't like that it was an adjoining room and it would of been nice to be notified before hand to be given the choice. I didnt like the $2 each they wanted to charge me for the 2 bottled waters in my room, either give it for free or don't put it in the room. The bed was comfortable that was the only highlight. The employee at the front desk for checkout was friendly.

Standard but well cooked.

Close to many amenities. Quiet and clean. Elevator was broken on Saturday morning we had to use stair case to get down from 4th floor. Elevator is also extremely slow when it worked later in the day after it was fixed. Parking is expensive.

We have stay in this location couple of times now, staff is always friendly, the room is always clean, and quiet.

Everything stood out as great. But the breakfast menu could use some help. Glassware was not very clean from coming out of the dishwasher. Not just spots but some had lip stains and food particles still on them.

Other hotels from same chain in Houston offer complimentary breakfast and complementary parking here you have to paid and you get the same park yourselve and breakfast as in any other hotel

We enjoyed our stay there even just one night. The staff are friendly and nice.

The rooms are very big. The staff was very welcoming. We didn’t eat breakfast cause we were on a time schedule. But I would definitely book here again.

I stayed there because they had a Jacuzzi and they didn’t have it working even one day and each morning I’d ask him is it gonna work? They said oh yeah maintenance will have it running in a few minutes. I had to move hotels so I got so tired of m not telling the truth

We stayed at this hotel in Houston and were surprised to fin that breakfast and parking were not incluided, even though we initially thought they were. The biggest issue was a strong unpleasant odor in the room that became noticeable whenever we lowered the A/C. we had to keep it running on hight to avoid the smell. Staff was polite, but overall the stay did not meet our expectations.

Parking is a little too small and need to upgrade the breakfast.

This is price gouging!!! Parking rate is outrageous and I was not notified that parking was additional charge of $25 daily. Unfortunately we will not be returning for our next visit. No wonder the hotel was empty and will continue like this with this attitude.

Wonderful stay

An excellent hotel, clean, great breakfast, super-friendly staff, very reasonable price...the bed just needs to be about 5 or 6 inches higher for an adult with a severe knee disability.

My stay so far is always a five star experience. The staff is friendly and helpful,the hotel is clean, close to shopping the Resturant’s.

The room smelled like urine and when I told the front desk they didn’t do anything more than switch out our towels and take out the trash. Then the room next to us came in from the bars at 3am and were as loud as possible until 6am. We notified the front desk and they did nothing!

Kudos to the cleaning staff, the rooms and common areas reflect their attention to details and work. One elevator was inoperable but the elevator over surprisingly fast and quiet! Though there were some miscommunication with breakfast hours on weekends, the stay was pleasurable and the sleep quality was great. Would love to have fan vents in the bathrooms!

Convenient location near Galleria and Memorial Park.

Having to pay for parking is not good. Why should hotel guests have to pay? Its really ridiculous. The staff instead of saying scan the QR code say its paid parking when you check in. Hilton has enough resources to have its guest park for free.

I look forward to staying here again!
