The staff are super friendly I asked for towels they brought me plenty. Issue is there is a bad smell when you enter rooms I don’t know why. The rooms are really clean if you ok with smell. Some hot water issues in early morning

Pleasantly surprised. Basic furnishings, but very clean room, *very* friendly and helpful staff. Continental breakfast was muffins, coffee, juice, granola bars, apples etc. -- but was adequate (was not expecting a hot breakfast)

The value for the price was excellent. We were visiting from the DFW area, and a comparable room would have cost about twice as much there. The room was spotless, bright, and not outdated, and the toiletries in the room were generous and included lotion, bar soaps, shampoo, mouthwash, and toothbrushes. Even though I accidentally booked a smoking room (100% my fault), the smoke smell was very faint and did not bother me. The front desk guy was awesome too. I usually avoid motels with the doors facing the outside for safety reasons, but I didn't feel unsafe, see anyone loitering, or hear excessive noise from other guests. The exterior was also clean. I see how some reviews didn't like how the breakfast was coffee, juice, granola bars, and individually-wrapped muffins, but I felt that it was on par with the price I paid for the room. We are in Houston for sporting events pretty often, and we will not hesitate to stay here again. The bed was a little firm, and I had to use the clip on a pen to make the drapes stay closed all the way. Neither of these things put a damper on our stay. There is also only one way in/out, and it was off of a one-way highway. I imagine it would be a hassle to double back if you missed the way in/out. Like another review mentioned, though, it probably helps make it a bit safer. Highway noise doesn't bother me personally, but this is not the hotel to stay at if if bothers you.

This place is a great value! It was clean and the staff were friendly. My bed was spacious and comfortable, and the room has a mini fridge and microwave. I encountered Milan the most, he is very kind and we had some nice conversations! I come to Houston at least once a year and I’ll definitely be back. It’s close to the cousin I visit in town. My only complaint is the water temperature. It wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. My shower wasn’t unpleasant by any means but I would have liked hotter water

I had a great stay! The room was very clean and well-maintained, making my experience comfortable and pleasant.

Extremely clean. Both the rooms and parking lot were spotless and well maintained. The staff were exceptional and friendly. This might be the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The breakfast is just packaged muffins and nutrition bars, supplemented with fruit. The coffee, however, was good and plentiful.

This property was so clean I was beyond impressed!! They clean the rooms everyday and even when we checked in our room was SPOTLESS. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely choose to stay here again if I visit in the future. Super close to nearby shopping centers and restaurants. LOVED this hotel

Fridge and microwave are clean and looks as new condition. Room is clean from every corner and furniture condition is very good. I did not observed anybody hanging out in corridors which is good. I saw many 2 stars hotels but this one on the top. 3 stars standards. Stayed almost 2 weeks. Very suitable for a solo traveler for business.

It’s always a pleasure going here. The staff is always friendly and it’s very clean and quiet. The price is always reasonable without having to pay a deposit.

It was just ok. The property was just off a freeway in a business district, so not much within walking distance.

Have hot and cold drinking water machine in the lobby. No breakfast, no pool hotel is our choice for this trip. The hotel does offer light snacks and fruit in the lobby for the grab, lovely. Another good thing is the hotel provides tooth brush, tooth pick and mouth wash as well, very thoughtful. The bed is firm in room 218, I like it a lot :-) The room is clean and looks like newly remodeled. Love it. The only hiccup is someone bang the next room for some time in the middle of the 2/3 nights of our stay. BUT, do note, NO ELEVATOR. Overall, like Palace Inn al lot. Another honest review :)

But there was no breakfast except the coffee cookies and banana at the reception and no hangers and hot water in basin cold water was blocked, the hotel was not worth for what they charged for.

This is my second stay at a palace Inn motel but in different locations. The hotel is a nice and clean, updated room. Rooms are missing some items such as a tissue, clock, blanket, iron and boarding. Also, breakfast was only muffin and coffee in your room, nothing else. In general, it was good for the price.

This is an older property that has been completely redone. Everything is new. They clean the rooms daily which is rare during covid. The rooms are the cleanest I have stayed in. It was a quiet and safe place to stay.

Stayed one night for work trip. Easy and quick check in, safe and well lit parking, and rooms were very clean. And overall, I paid less than other nearby hotels that cost more but are not as clean. Will definitely stay again.

Had a very pleasant stay. Rooms are big, clean, and new. Amenities were very nice. It’s off the expréssway so just know you will hear the sound of traffic outside but I slept with no issues. I’d gladly stay again.

We got what looked like a brand new renovated room! So clean inside, big tv, plenty of space. Would definitely come back to stay here & also recommend here it’s a great price for great quality!

Check-in was simply and easy. The staff was nice and room had great amenities such as a microwave, and refrigerator. The shower was nice and big.

Economic and social clean and effective

Super clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed with premium linens. Larger than average fridge with freezer. Large screen TV with a good selection of channels. Strong internet - no "time outs" while watching Netflix or Amazon Prime. Early check in available. My only suggestion would be to add some meat to the breakfast offering but that's not a criticism; just a suggestion.
