Nothing, do not book Broken glass in the parking lot, we had kids with us. No access to the pool they list. The lobby smelled like a bath room.The ac in room one was set to 64, room temp was showing 78°. There were rosches visibly rubbing around. Second room was impossible to breath in bc of bug sprey. Both showers were disgusting. We left immediately. Even tho we pay booking for insurance im out the full amount.

Absolutely nothing! I took my family to this establishment only to find out that there were used linens on both beds. Blood and dirt all over the sheets. And the guys at the front desk had no empathy on our situation. When I told him that we cannot stay on a bed that is dirty, he didn’t even ask to change them or anything. Instead, he told me that if I cancel there would be no refund (with a smile on his face). I would never allow my wife and kids to sleep on such filth. And not only that, the entire establishment smells like marijuana. This was the worst place I could have taken my family.

When I arrived it was raining the hotel worker blocked the driveway so I couldn’t park out of the rain. He stopped in the middle of the parking space to tell me he was not moving up. He checked us in, it’s my husband’s birthday we live in Willis Tx an hour away. I paid with my Affirm card the attendant asked me for more money. I protested letting him know I paid in full he stated he needs $40 or he can just cancel it. Well I gave him $40 and got my key and went to eat. When we returned went up to our room the key didn’t work. When we were returning to the room we noticed the condition of the hotel. It was terrible, I was embarrassed at our surroundings. It smelled terrible , it was dirty and there were people hanging around. The front lobby is not what the picture looked like. The room was dirty the beds were horrible. I took pictured this place should be condemned. It is not fit to be called a hotel. We checked in at 3:00 pm and we checked out at 6:00 pm. The bed was so nasty the carpet was dirty and nasty. Our microwave did not work our frig didn’t work. We went back home oh my God. I’m so glad my husband had a wonderful meal and great drinks at dinner. Because our trip was a disaster. Don’t come to this place at all.

The price and the view. I didn't like how the restroom in the room was not that clean. Also, the remote for the tv didn't have batteries, and some of the lamps had the lighbuld missing

Do not book here , there’s a 40$ deposit that takes three days to get back on card. Kids were sitting in the lobby all night and day , everything was broken including the tv in our room , it was clear someone punched it. There was a broken table in the corner , smelt like mold . Lamps were ripped off , no trashcan inside the room. If there’s another hotel even for 5-10$ I highly advise you book that one

My van been broken into it outside when I asked the front desk if they have a security camera to see who break into my van they said there doesn’t have a camera outside. This Place was nothing like the pictures that are on Hotels.com. it is more like a stay for months at a time. The location is not save. The room we checked in to was nasty. The person that checked us in was rude and yelled at me because I had a hard time hearing him. So because of all of this we did not stay and I lost my money for the stay. And the health department needs to go and do an inspection.

The picture shown in this app is NOWHERE near what it actually looked like. It was run down. I had a serious roach problem. The carpet in my room was dirty and torn up. There were holes in my walls. The refrigerator was pulled out from where it should have been. Even one of the other hotel visitors told me "this place is so ghetto". Please do not pick this place, especially if you're staying with family. Parking lot did not feel safe either.

The furniture throughout the property is in bad condition (including stained carpets and torn curtains), which is also evident in other reviews with photos. This is an unjustified and baseless charge. I request the immediate return of my deposit; otherwise, I will proceed with a formal complaint.

The staff weren't rude at all, and the hotel room was sort of clean. The floor could've used a carpet cleaner, and maybe some surfaces could've been wiped down. However you get what you pay for. The bed was uncomfortable as well.

If I could give it no stars I would. The only thing good I could say about the hotel is got to stay is over. The staff wasn't bad I feel sorry for them for having to be in those conditions as well. Pulling up to the hotel I thought it was abandoned, there were no lights in the parking lot, and it looked haunted. The room looked like it could have been in American horror stories, beyond creepy, stains everywhere, maybe two and a half channels worked on the TV, honestly I was scared to sleep on the mattress. Although the sheets were clean, I still sup with my clothes on including my jacket. They had the nerve to charge a $40 deposit for incidentals and or damages. I don't know how they will be able to tell if they were damages because it already looked damaged to begin with. They considered as late checking out so they kept our deposit, but hey I guess they have to get their money somehow.

Saw them crawling on the wall upon entering the room. When I complained I was given another room on a different floor, that also had bugs. Absolutely unacceptable. Did not stay. Do not recommend that you would either. You get what you pay for I guess. Zero stars should be an option.

The front desk clerk refused to check us in, was using foul language to us, threatened to call the police on us when we asked questions trying to understand what was happening. When i went back in to get his name and the company's contact information, he refused to give either to me and said he was watching the football game. He was the rudest and angriest person I have dealt with in the hospitality field.

The property looks nothing like it does on hotel.com…. The elevator was not working and my room was on the 6th floor. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The air conditioner was leaking water on the inside of the room and the carpet all around it was wet… The room had a horrible smell that hit you when first walk in. The patio door would not close all the way so had to listen to traffic passing through the night

I’ve been making a lot of trips to Houston over the last four years because my daughter’s been at school there. This hotel was the bottom of the barrel worst hotel I’ve stayed at so far. And granted it’s not expensive. But it was like walking through trash and broken windows and shopping carts set up around the opening of the building. And then when I went in, it was like a homeless center. It took the man way too long to get to me, because I had to get back to the school. It was just overall a really bad experience. And I tried to cancel my reservation, and I’ll probably have to deal with that later.

This hotel is a scam. I've already filed a complaint with Hotels.com and am awaiting a refund. The photos on the Hotels.com website are not true to form. From the moment you enter, everything is terrible. The walls and floors were extremely dirty. The service was terrible. The hallway leading to the room was like a dead animal. The entire hallway and bedroom carpet was completely stained and dirty. The bedroom wall was damaged. The bathroom smelled like it had been abandoned. The shower faucet wouldn't turn off. The light switch in the bathroom didn't work. Absolutely a scam.

This place was ass and I think they stole my credit card information because he kept looking at my card and it looked like he was trying to memorize the numbers specially the security numbers in the back. Then 2 days later my card gets used in California so I'm guessing he did steal my information . My bank notified me that there was something wrong and cancelled my card in time

I was disappointed with my experience at Romana Hotel. Rather than a traditional hotel environment, the property resembled a marketplace for smoking-related products. I was surprised to see this property listed on Expedia, as it does not seem to meet the expected standards for accommodations. I hope Expedia will reconsider its listing criteria to ensure a more conventional hotel experience for travelers.

This was literally the worse hotel I have been to. I checked in and checked right out. The guy at the front desk was so unprofessional. He was constantly yelling and using words he shouldn'thave.. I don’t not recommend this place! Place is not like the pictures! Seems the picture on Hotels.com are from when they first opened. I got there I could not check in. They said I had to be back at 3:30 pm when check in was at 3 pm. After I checked in way pass 3:30 pm, went to my room and smelled bad. Undid the bed and saw stains on the bed. I left and wanted to cancel because of the way it was nasty. I left and got another room somewhere else. Would not recommend at all.

This hotel is severely distressed. The images online do not reflect at all the conditions of the property. We took a loss in the money and checked out immediately. The room was odorous, the door to the room was all scratched up and damaged, and the property was weathered and old, not as the result of a recent hurricane.

This place is so bad. When you walk in, you’re met with a strong smell of urine. The check in took forever. The first room I got, I couldn’t even open the door. So, they switch my rooms. While waiting for the process of changing rooms, I immediately start seeing the type of people of people that were staying and knew it was more like a place for people that obvious didn’t have a place to live. Well, when I finally got the new room, I was infested with roaches. I went back down with my luggage and asked for a refund. The hotel nor the room was anything like the pictures on the website. They tried to give me another room, but at that time I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. It was a disgusting place.

This place is a total and complete rip off. Stay far far far away from this place if possible at all. They have so many hidden fees for standard accommodations that it is insane, there are bugs all over the place and they placed me in a room with a wet floor that had obviously just had treatment completed possibly minutes before arrival. The lights were damaged and broken, in some cases the cables had been cut. Furniture damaged and filthy, sheets had burn holes in them, smoke detectors ripped out (which is probably why they STOLE my $40 “damage deposit”) the only good thing about this place was the one manager who helped find a room suitable at least to take a nap in. The mini fridge was filthy, remote was damaged and missing components, toilets moved if you sat on them. The carpets were a freaking mess, STAY AWAY!!!!!!

We’ll to start everything they said they stand for online is a lie the building needs to be condemned it’s filthy ; roach ridden , homeless sleeping at the entrance to office smoking pot ( marijuana) the grounds of the hotel is covered with trash blowing in the wind the lobby doors open 24 hours a day wind blowing trash , grass, leaves etc into the lobby, the elevator the only one out of two that works is filthy with trash and pot roaches ( marijuana butts) on elevator deck, no service I never saw a cleaning service cart. No fresh towels etc. The room was filthy with food debris on floor behind furniture, pills on and under furniture, the shower head coming out of the wall was just barely hanging, the carpet in the hallways looked like a crime scene. I could go on and on. I worked in the hotel industry for a long time stayed at a lot of places everything they said to describe their hotel about having services in rooms for meetings, etc. was all a lie everything that they described was a complete lie. I am surprised that the fire marshal and the health department have not close this building down. They ask for a $40 cleaning deposit I mean what good with that dude they could keep it and see you trashed the room but the room is already trashed. Then again the Proprietors Dr., Alfa,, Romeo’s Mercedes and Can-Am motorcycles, but the hotel is a ghetto.

Really bad service, I had a reservation confirm but when I arrived to the property they simply communicated that all rooms were taken and there is nothing the can do. So even with a confirm reservation does not guarantee your stay. Great service 😒

Why did they want a deposit for a room where nothing works or things are already broken tv do not work the phone that in the room doesn’t even have a cord hooked up to it the tv do not work it’s roaches crawling everywhere there’s a small round table in the room that is broken the door you have to slam shut missing light bulbs. Like this place is completely horrible and they are asking for a $40 deposit on top that like that’s crazy

Worst hotel i have ever stayed in trash everywhere bad smells no tv burn holes in the covers holes in carpet broken mirrors lamp shade was torn up the other lamp didn't even work table was broken sink cracked tub was to gross to even put my feet in took pictures but its not letting me load them also posted them in the Google reviews

Grabbed by malicious personell on 3/2/23 it's 3/17/23 I'm still on the streets praying I survive waiting for the hold to be released so I can go elsewhere ...never saw inside of a room but they hindering my movements I'm a 59 yrs old crippled man 15 days on the streets due to Ramona Hotel

It was the worst place ever, and it had a lot of roaches, and it has a lot of rat poop and bad experience

As soon as I entered the room, there was two bed bugs crawling across the floor. Horrible I checked out within five minutes.

I came to check in at 2:00pm, and they asked for $20 cash to get my room early. I disagree. and 3:30pm I went back to check in my room, they told me to wait. around 5:00pm they replied that there was no housekeeping staff so asked me to go to another hotel. I saw a lot of people having the same situation as me that day, it was really horrible. I don't want anyone to be like me when coming to this Romana hotel. don't be foolish

Overall just bad service & dirty😩

Kurt is very unprofessional and rude he allowed a guest to harass me without any regard and refused to switch my room! which forced me to leave the property

This place is infested with roaches

That area is very neglected and very dirty.
