Friendly staff, clean rooms, overall a great stay

This spot was perfect for my trip: a clean, spacious room, kind staff, easy parking, and convenient on-site laundry made my time so much easier. Will be staying here again

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are big, showers are hot and pressure is good. They have an ice machine that works, very pleasant.. I do recommend and will stay again.

I checked into the Scottish Inn located off Interstate I45 and FM 1960 in Spring at midnight exhausted from traveling. There was a courteous and pleasant staff member who helped me with the check in process and was very helpful and supportive. The room was very clean and quiet. The security was very good and I felt comfortable and safe. I highly recommend the Scottish Inn and will return.

The room was large and comfortable. No frills but great for the price. The only negative I noticed was rusty color in a few places in the bathtub / shower. I would stay there again.

Had to conduct a name change last minute. Staff was accommodating. Could have been a disaster after traveling from Narita and a 3.5 hour delay in Houston and finally a layover overnight. Thank you Scottish Inn & Suites!

There was no hot tub. When the shower is on water come from underneath the fooor tiles. Sheets had stain and the comforter had cigarette holes

Very nice and reasonably priced place. The staff is polite and helpful. Comfy bed, NO little critters anywhere lol. They were actually exterminating when I got there. I love that. So many place just don't care anymore. I highly recommend this location

I accidentally reserved this hotel, really wanted to book for a second night at the Airport Scottish Inn, since I was staying there already for a night. I called the day before to explain my mistake and tried to get my money back. The staff I talked to was very short and said there was no refund, even though I had written to them when I made my booking to make sure that they understood that I was just adding another night. Their response then was to just call them. I was traveling overseas and that was not an option. Booking.com suggested I write to them as well, but I never even received an answer. The staff could have been at least more friendly and or helpful

Need more towels and a extra blanket for bed

Its was clean and comfortable the lady in the front desk area was so nice and made me feel welcome will definitely stay again and close by everything Maybe just update the tvs in the room i brought my own but thats it it was still a great stay

The location was somewhat ok. I used a third party site to book the room so a little discount for the way overpriced room. The woman at the front desk was acting like she couldn’t find my reservation. She said I didn’t have a reservation and I had to pay full price. Then once she found it she said I had to pay still. I kept insisting that I had already paid and I was not paying again. She kept repeatedly asking the same questions. Her main questions were, about who I was renting the room for. Because my spouse is black and I am white, she kept asking was I going to be staying in the room? Was I renting the room for the black man. I kept telling her I had paid and I really needed to get into the room. I explained to her if she didn’t hurry I would not be able to make it to the restroom and there was going to be a mess to clean up. Miracles !!! She finally sees I have already paid. As if the extremely long and hard check-in was not bad enough. We get to the room. Stale hot air. Ready to shower and lay down. The towels were so thin, if you held it up you could actually read through it! So interracial couples go somewhere else. People who need towels to dry on , go somewhere else. People who don’t want to pay twice, go somewhere else!

Nothing. Never checked in. That my reservation wasn't cancelled. I wasn't refunded. And was asked to pay a deposit, when I called weeks prior to ask about a deposit. Was told "No". I arrive with my pet to be told there's a pet deposit with a $10 daily fee.

There was no breakfast offered. The beds were comfortable. The door let in light and the curtains are not private enough. The tub is extremely slippery and I fell as soon as I stepped in. I told the property but there was no reaction or assurance I wasn’t hurt. That shocked me

So the sign out front advertised new room get in the room and it’s horrible, rust all on the side of the tub, the faux marble sink was broken other things in the room weee broken the tv was super small as well

When I arrived to Scottish Inn & Suites IAH West, I was greeted by the older lady at the front desk. She was very rude and unprofessional. I simply requested to inspect the room but was met with an unwarranted attitude instead of expected professional courteous servitude. Furthermore, I alsk requested a non-smoking room but immediately upon entering the room I was greeted by the strong smell of cigarette odor as I walked through the door. There was even cigarette burn marks in a lot of places throughout the room with a complimentary ash tray for a non-smoking room. I highly dislike: Being put in a smoking room when I reserved a non-smoking, Seeing dead roaches smashed on the wall, Receiving attitude from the older lady at the front desk, & ESPECIALLY not having my money spent on Exactlg what I paid for. I had to endure hours of cigarette odor & burn marks everywhere and on almost everything. THE TOILET SEAT held burn marks and the walls were brown from smoke film.

The room was decent my fiancé wasn’t really feeling it as anyone’s significant other would she was pointing out little things like roaches the towels were ok but like the wood everywhere and everything looked old from me to her I said it’s ok but you can’t please her every time thank you

Reserved a jacuzzi suite, paid for it online, but had a different room given to us for same price. Busy and noisy neighbors, shower had mold spots, toilet flushed poorly.

They messed up our reservation, we were supposed to have a room with a hot tub, and we got a regular room. Then the dude at the front offered us two different rooms that were "more expensive" than the tub. That would have been okaish but the rooms were old and ugly, the tv wasn't on the wall, and there was a weird black spot on the regular tub so I couldn't even take a bath.

This was a very restful spot, location is quiet and close to all amenities. The airport is a short 15 min drive. When I come back to Houston I will stay again.

Older hotel. Only one towel and washcloth to share between two people in the room, they would not give us another set unless we brought the used ones to the office.

Not very clean, had electrical tape on the shower hose that was mostly undone and leaking, bed was on some metal frame that sounded like a filling cabinet getting dented every time I moved. Not worth 100 for the short time I was there

This hotel is an example of you get what you pay for. The light didn't work in our bathroom area, the bathtub and counters were full of cigarette Burns and rust. The furniture is very old. Will never stay here again.

No electricity. We did not know this when we booked it on the website. Drove all the way over there only to find out.

They only had one room, then after i got 1 key put my stuff in room went to the car they key to the roo. No longer worked. They claim they never rec2money for either room and hotels.com cancelled the second and told me to pay them again for the room they just gave me. I tried to show ptoof and confirmation numbers, she said ahe didnt care and refused to look at it. I contacted customer service they informed me both rooms we supposed to be available. Went to office she said the rooms not available. We went to the office second my stuff was in the room, they locked doors office the man gave me note saying both rooms were canceled now. So i left the property..I did not stay @ this hotel. My money was paid upfront and they wanted me to pay again then they put up sign saying they were fully booked and no rooms were available.

I did not like the rusted out tube and the leaky pipe from the sink amd the cigarette burnt holes in the bed sheets and the really thin bed comforter

The lady who checked me in had absolutely zero personality and seemed annoyed that I was interrupting her phone call. Took her probably 3 minutes to find my reservation, even though I had the confirmation number. for the price, the room was great. But she needs some personality training.

The parking lot was cleanish, it was very low-key and quiet overnight, the on-site manager, Stephen was very polite and attentive; he went out of his way to get up some more towels and pillows. I also like the key/card wireless doors. Much easier and more secure then most other hotels.

I will never use expedia or return to that hotel again

Found a bug in the bed, handle was hanging off the nightstand, holes in the couch and the bed sheets. The morning after our stay, my friends car wouldn't start so he called the front desk to let them know and asked if it'd be okay that we checked out a few minutes after 11 and the guy said "oh no, I can't do that. you can wait in the front office" and was at our door waiting at 11. we got a jump and we're pulling off by 11:04. just 4 minutes... really?

The room we got STUNK! If we had been staying for any length of time other than basically just a few hours to sleep, I would have asked for a change of room. I guess it was a smoking room, which wasn't what I requested, and the comforters on the beds had cigarette burn holes all over them. The sink area had burn marks where people had left cigarettes burning. The first time we stayed here I really had no complaints, but I was pretty disgusted with the room this time.

Tv can be bigger, add more pillows, more tv channels and more towels

Being realistic, its a reasonably priced motel so it's obviously not the Hyatt Regency. One huge pro to me personally is that the shower always has excellent water pressure and an endless supply of HOT water.

There was nothing good about the stay except the gentleman working the front desk. He was very nice but the room overall was not comfortable/ satisfying

I did not like anything about this property. The room was dirty, the comforter was obliterated with cigarette burn holes, the sheets were dirty and the room was non smoking but smelled like cigarette smoke. Then the staff started cooking their dinner, which smelled so bad adding to the disgust. This place is disgusting, run down and needs everything from new paint to better owners!! Although the staff is friendly, it doesn't make up for the neglect of the rooms.

Check-in and out was fast and easy. The location was good because it was close to the airport. However, my non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke, the bars of soap were very thin, and the towels were thin and not very big. The building was also pretty sketchy and trashy looking.

The outside was nice but the condition of them room was poor with exposed electrical boxes, worn carpets, and stains and holes in the bedding.

Nice, clean no frills lodging. Good value for price.

The motel does not serve breakfast as advertised. Their wifi was not working. Toilet kept filling (noisy). Basic accommodation, good price for what you get. Location is good, on main road and not too far from airport. I'd probably spend a little more next time for a motel that included breakfast.

Room was clean and was very nice but had a musky smell when we first walked in. Smell went away shortly after having AC on for little while. Large jacuzzi tub looked awesome with mirrors. Shower was large also. Awesome price for this rooms accommodations. Overall satisfied.

If not out by 11 they'll ask for another day fee. Even if it's 11:10 and they normally don't clean or get to your room by 4 pm. Housekeeper will come knocking on you. No hdmi input. Nothing is great, but it works. Tv, ac, leaky tub, hair dryer, microwave, below avg bed but parking right out of your door.

First room we were given was dirty and both bedspreads were not clean and had holes in them, we called hotels.com to get a room in another hotel and we were going to ask for our money back, hotels.com called the hotel and the desk asked us to come and see them they would put us in another room. We wanted to know why the website pictures showed nice clean rooms, apparently they " stage the rooms" for the pictures so what you see doesn't really exist. Second room was cleaner but we still would have rather gotten our money back and moved on to another hotel.

This was one of the nicer rodeway we've stayed at and well def be coming back when we return to that area! Plus it's very affordable.
