Having shops and restaurants nearby was super convenient! Stay were friendly and helpful with any question or concerns. Bonus points for tickets to the illusions museum located right next door. Our family will definitely stay here again when visiting Houston!

Dirty, location is great but the hotel seems like a motel. Price does not match the hotel should be cheaper. The tub was very dirty with visible signs how old it was.

Didn't like the fact that I was charged for a night that I didn't use...accidentally put wrong date at first, and it was non-refundable.

Location Everything else. Poor service, bad soundproofing and very expensive for a tired hotel. Our room was never even serviced after the second night of our stay. Very disappointing.

Last Night a staff banged on my door for another valet worker at another hotel, who irresponsibly left his phone inside of my vehicle. Staff mention that I needed to hurry up and find the phone with location said it was at my current hotel. I explain that I had NO knowledge of that and if the phone is in the car he can have his phone. Staff also stated that the worker would threaten to call HPD. I explain to staff that it’s obviously I don’t come to Houston from NY to steal a phone. And told her I felt offended she needed to relax and went downstairs and gave the worker from the other hotel my car keys to find his phone and that’s exactly what he did.

Supposedly corrected it but when I was leaving at the end of my stay, I decided to verify my check out was all good to go. Turns out the staff member still had not checked me in properly & I was going to be charged. The staff member at checkout was very knowledgeable and corrected everything, Thank you! Overall a great stay.

Customer service quick, sorta half listening. Didn’t get the room we booked. Told we got a corner room instead, but got to the room and it was a normal room, not a corner view. Not optimal to book and then not get a king bed as a couple. We were told 3rd party bookings aren’t guaranteed. Shower was also broken, didn’t know until morning when I had only 45 min to get ready. Wouldn’t return.

Located at the main mall in Houston definitely is a plus.

I know that this hotel was refurbished not so long ago. I expected more. The pillows are pretty bad and and the room was too noisy.

They charge destination fees and it wasn’t on the booking page so I end up paying more than what I paid.

Location of this property was perfect. The Daily Grill was terrible we tried it for dinner and gave it another try for breakfast. Dinner the staff was good but breakfast was a different experience, staff wasn’t welcoming and the food was overpriced and cold the coffee was terrible tasting it kinda seems the employees must get paid pretty good so they don’t have to work for tips because as soon as we got our food they stopped checking on us for anything.

They are charge a $25 a day for a destination fee staight BS, the fee is taxed as well. I chexked out one day early and they still charged me the fee.

They were so racist

We had two connecting rooms and the stay was good. However we forgot our airpod in the room and called the hotel around 4pm on the check out date and they told us houskeeping did not bring anything to lost&found. The houskeeping staff should be questioned about this.

Our first room, the A/C wasn't working. They quickly sent someone to work on it. Later Shirley came to see if it was working and it wasn't. They moved us to another room.

We use white noise to go to bed and the TV in that room would constantly disconnect my iPhone in the middle of the night and we wouldn’t be able to use the YouTube tv method.

Location! I absolutely loved the location of this hotel and the quick and easy access I had to the Galleria mall next-door. Truly, this was amazing! Parking! Complimentary self parking was great and safe. Paid valet services also being available was a + but I did not use this service at all. Staff! All of the staff I met was amazing and extremely attentive/nice. No issues with staff at all. The bathroom in my room was not completely clean. I noticed dirt/scum on sink around handles and in the sink. I did not bother with complaint because my stay was so short that I cleaned it myself. But I do believe this is something that should be noted and triple checked for in the future.

Getting to this hotel can be a challenge with the Galleria area traffic, but once inside, living is easy. Shopping and dining are right outside the door. I especially liked being able to walk inside the mall in the early morning hours before the mall opened. I felt safe.

However, the room itself left a bit to be desired. It didn’t feel especially clean, and the couch looked and felt very worn — we honestly didn’t even want to sit on it. We also had a hard time keeping the room cool enough for optimal sleep. Though did appreciate the thick curtains keeping the room dark. Overall, the location and staff made the stay worthwhile, but the room could definitely use some updates and a deeper clean.

For one night. I spend half my day dealing with pricing issues because I was told the wrong information so my daughters birthday weekend was pretty much wasted The manager assisted me in fixing this issue and only charged me the amount I was told online So I do appreciate him

The check in process was very good. The Agent was professional and friendly. The lobby was bright, clean and modern. The rooms were clean, bathrooms clean, no musty odor anywhere, nothing broken, bed was comfortable and the daily housekeeping was a major source of satisfaction during our stay. This is our second time at the Westin Galleria and we will definitely return.

The only down side of this awesome hotel is the very slow elevators. Even when not busy, but hey it’s vacation so no worries.

My stay was really good. Room was clean and nice. Room was a good size i had more than enough space. The only issue was getting to the hotel from the garage. The signage wasn't great so i walked through the mall trying to find the hotel entrance. I was lucky enough to find people i knew and they directed me to the hotel lobby.

As many times as I’ve stayed here on the property this was the first time I’ve received such terrible service and it was enough that I will never stay again. During CHECK OUT, I was told about a destination fee that according to the clerk just started November (after I told him I always stay there when coming to Houston). This was not shared with me during check in which I would have taken full advantage of being that it was a food credit for goodness sake. He called over someone because he never identified him as a manager who told me they couldn’t remove the charge although I was never made aware of it, didn’t use it and honestly would have. So to be charged for some thing I didn’t even use is absurd especially since it’s tied to food, drinks and tickets to a museum. Not a resort fee which are for amenities. For them to not make this refund is just another way many hotels are finding ways to nickel and dime folks. Just be upfront and we have no issues.

Very nice establishment and staff! Just wish they had at the least coffee or juice in the morning. You have to go into the mall to eat which isn’t far since it’s attached but could be considered an inconvenience. Other than that, I recommend staying here. Especially if you like to shop!!

I honestly have not a single complaint about this property. I wish I could have stayed one more day and just stay in my room. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

The only thing that wasn’t so great was there was no room service. There was an option to purchase daily breakfast and that was at a restaurant in the mall.

Valet parking 56 usd plus tax. When decided not to leave it with them , the valet guy suggested that the windows of the car might get broken during the night. When complained with front desk a lady said backed them up. Pillows terrible Mattress terrible Towels were from the “heavenly collection” ( from Westin) but old, worn out, everything uncomfortable.

The hotel was immaculate!! Customer service was excellent, amenities were great, and we were within a few feet from The Galleria. Taylor, at the front desk was amazing. Self-parking was kind of frustrating because we couldn’t find our car. We were assisted by staff and they helped us find it. The only con to this property is no elevators in the parking garage. We’ll use valet the next time we’re in town. I’d highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. The pictures don’t do this property justice!! This will be our go-to property the next time we’re in Houston.
