The property itself is nice and in a good location. I believe some of the rooms have been recently renovated. I love the moon on the wall and the fact it lit up. Wish it would have been a dimmer though. The room was very good size and the bed was so comfortable along with the pillows. I was surprised since it can be hard to find hotels with comfy sleep conditions at a decent price. Check-in was easy but I find the pre-checkin useless if I still have to fill out the same info on a paper upon arrival. I wasn’t crazy about the level of humidity there was in my room. I think it was causing condensation to build up on the floor underneath the AC. The furniture was all great and well thought out. Due to renovations and maybe some other things, I found that there was a mix of a few smells. I could smell paint, chemicals, a musty and possibly cigarette smell in some areas near the elevator. There was what looked like blood drops on the floor by the elevator as well. The breakfast was ok with the eggs, potatoes and sausage, etc. Unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy were cold and had to be put in the microwave. The shower in my room needed the body wash refilled but luckily I had brought some with me.

As soon as you walked into the hotel it had a bad odor, like a mildew smell. When checking the guy behind the counter wasn’t very friendly, gave us our key to the room. When we got on the floor where our room was, it was hot and muggy like the air wasn’t working on the floor. When we got into the room, we turned on the a/c and left to go get dinner. When we got back the room never got cold. So we went back downstairs to let him know about what was wrong with the room and again the gentleman behind the counter had an attitude. Got to the second room the a/c worked but the toilet was leaking water and the shower floor was very nasty and black mold on the shower walls in the grout, the floors was sticky. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Hair was on the floor so the bathroom didn’t seem clean , the shower was also leaking just very cringey I will not stay there again

Location It says it has a fitness room. And it does, only it is used as storage and has a bunch of rusty equipment. Technically, you could use the thread mill with the beautiful view of a matress in front of you, but you don’t want to be working out and breathing all that rusty equipment next to you. Wifi is poor. When choosing the room on booking.com is shows a rate and when you select and move on to the next step to book it is suddenly 30usd more expensive

The facility was awesome and the guy that was at front desk when I first arrived, he was AWESOME & professional! The lady for the overnight was Awesome and so was the lady that was there the next day at my checkout! Thank goodness Esha for people that really cares! Those younger generations just don’t!!!!!’ It was awesome choice but the young man that was in night shift was unprofessional and he needs a class on professionalism and empathy for all guests!

We ran out of body wash and shampoo (the bathrooms are equipped with large pumps of each) and never got them refilled, even after letting the front desk know.

Rooms were nice. Bathrooms were large but the tubs were hazardous. There was no traction and I fell in the shower and injured myself. The only thing they did was give extra towels to place in the shower.

Breakfast was the only good thing about this hotel. The beds and pillows were hard and flat. The construction was loud and the smell of the paint was horrible. I regret staying there and NEVER will again. I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Two nitpicks: 1) The continental breakfast wasn't offered in full during one of my mornings at the hotel. They placed a sign that read something to the effect of the food not being available. 2) Noticed a fair amount of chipping of the sheetrock around the elevator. Nothing major, mostly cosmetic but certainly noticable.

We ordered a pizza for delivery, and the front desk failed to notify us when it arrived. It sat downstairs for about two hours while we repeatedly called, and we were told DoorDash had already delivered it. No one made an effort to contact our room, even though they had no issue knocking on our door for a noise complaint. The room itself was not comfortable. The shower never got hot—only cold water—which made it hard to even feel clean. Overall, the environment felt unclean and unpleasant, to the point where we felt like we needed to shower again after leaving. There were also concerning observations, like a child sleeping on the floor behind the front desk, which added to the discomfort of the experience. Overall, this stay did not meet basic expectations for cleanliness, communication, or comfort. I would not recommend this property.

I’m a platinum member with Wyndam. But Jeremy Henderson failed to put my check out for 12noon. The next day after 11am the front desk female was calling me to ask about my check out. I told her that I was a platinum member & my check out should be 12noon. She checked & told me I was fine. At 11:25am I went downstairs to get the luggage cart and made it to the 3rd floor room where I was staying in. My keycard was disabled. I was upset went back downstairs to the front desk & told her that my keycard was disabled. She turned it back on & I went back to 3rd floor to get my luggage. I went back downstairs to check out & I left. If your planning to go there DONT!

Clean room, comfortable bed. Just could hear every door slam and every conversation in the hall.

Nothing great about the room. A few minor issues with no body wash and no hair dryer. Not updated but clean enough. The front staff was very friendly and nice.

Bathroom ...shower had a lot of mold, so we chose not to use that amenity and the towels were dingy and old. Room was nicely renovated; however, the curtains could be upgraded. Check-in and check-out went very smoothly.

The room smelled musty. The trim around the doors had mold or rust all over ,and the water from the sink and in the toilet was dirty brown, even after flushing several times. We immediately reported the condition to the front desk , and he offered to move us to another room, but we know the water problem had to be throughout the system,and so we left the hotel and moved to another one that was clean and had clean water. I expect a refund.

The room was a nice size but the carpet has a huge red stain, there was rust in the restroom around the door and there was a weird smell in the hall around the elevator. The elevator sounded as if it was about to break down with every ride.

Love this hotel and staff! I stay here every time I come to TX from VA, which is about every 6 months.

The rooms were smelling because of lack of cleaning the carpet. Beds smell of body scent and bed bugs. The bathroom shower has permanent stains on the floor of the shower and mildew on the shower walls. I was totally uncomfortable. They need to remove the stains in the shower area and clean the carpet frequently.

Staff was really nice but our room’s air conditioner didn’t work. They moved us right away but then the next room’s toilet seat was cracked and the couch was old and not very clean. Would not recommend this hotel.

The staff was very helpful. However, my room was not up to par. I know housekeeping have a lot to do which is why I am always prepared to clean before my family and I make a hotel our home for a couple of days. When I pulled back the sheets to inspect, there was food stuck onto the sheets and hair in various areas of the bed. Also, the power went out for at least 6 hours and there was no compensation for our inconvenience.

We know the area and stayed here as our house is empty, up for sale, and we were visiting family. Good location, close to everything, and easy check in and out. Would recommend.

The staff was helpful, friendly, professional. The problem was our room had a HORRIBLE smell. I am not sure if it was the carpet, air conditioning, not sure. When we got home our clothing still had that HORRIBLE smell. We should have received a refund relayed to that situation.

We like the location of the property. The sheets had stains and the couch had tears on it. The food wasn’t very good. There wasn’t enough and we had to keep asking for more sausage, biscuits and waffle mix. We wouldn’t stay here again.

While I appreciate that this facility allows pets, the 2 rooms beside and across had dogs which barked throughout the night waking myself and family up on several occasions.

It was okay but there was a loud continuous noise that sounded like it was coming from behind the a/c. It came on several times for at least an hour at a time. Hotel desk said that it was coming from the generator next door.

Not clean as I expected

Service was great! Property maintained well. Only issue I had were dirty sheets but that was resolved immediately. The air also didn’t cool the room very well but overall a great stay.

It was a good hotel, near to where our son lived. It was great that there was a Walmart and other stores and restaurants nearby as well. Breakfast was the same every day which was OK even though we stayed 5 nights. The bed was comfortable. However, the shower water was COLD for us both on the morning we were checking out. (THAT SUCKED!)

It was too noisy. and there was someone which so loud music and it was not nice. I have been to other facilities of La Quinta, this is my last time in this one.

The AC unit in room 413 was not holding the temperature. We generally like our room a little warmer than most folks. We could not keep the room temperature in the upper 70's. The AC would run and drop the temperature into the low 70's. Then it would go off until the temp was above 80.

Front desk was very kind, helpful and welcoming. Room was super clean and no smells Bed is nice a comfy we immediately fell asleep after our shower! Lots of room in my queen room, fridge microwave and k cup coffee maker. Bathroom equipped with Dove bath essentials and nice plush towels Water did take a while to warm up but honestly wasn’t a big deal. I did have an issue with the dish network, but the front desk associate came right upstairs and personally fixed the issue. It was much appreciated. Definitely one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in recently, would stay again!

It was a great hotel . They did what they could to accommodate my needs . I enjoyed it there and the breakfast was really good with lots of variety !

But desk lacks mirror for makeup station , no usb plugs ( it’s 2025) , rude staff , scratches and banged up walls and furniture , loud appliances ( we had to turn off fridge and fan ) . A lots of dodgy damaged cars in parking lot. For this price - could do better

Entrance to the property from Main Street is hard to enter on a left hand turn. No light signal at entrance way. My husband and I had to get our room key rekeyed three times while our stay on the property. Our bathroom was missing half of shower door which was replaced by shower curtain. Yes, our stay was 5 days on the property.

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and they have been consistently good in all aspects.

Our stay here is always amazing but we had a problem getting our room cleaned on our first night there. Staff should always make sure they fulfill a request for towels or service no matter what. They said they knocked right after my fiancée came back in the room but we never heard anything and he had just walked back in from talking to them in the hallway. The front staff made up for the incident but we have never had any problems before so we were surprised but overall we had an excellent stay as usual.

Check in was horrible! After calling to say I would be late and getting the ok, I still had the girl in the front argue with me. She did not bother to check the system and insisted I did not have a reservation. She kept saying I am all booked up. Then she said we don’t receive or make any calls from here. I called the number I had been speaking to and the phone rang. Once she knew she was caught in a lie and only then did she check the system. Finally after 30 mins I was given my room cards. Very stressful trip already and this added to it ten folds.

A little too far from actual downtown city,

The garden area was a little oasis - peaceful and quiet so hard to believe it was close to a road. The reception personnel were very accommodating and friendly. The maid service was prompt and welcome.

This hotel has gone way down. The new flooring wasn’t installed right and it felt like the tiles were crumbling under our feet. The water in the faucet was brown but eventually cleared. There was dust all over the walls causing our allergies to go crazy. And I was charged $50 for 1 towel because supposedly it was damaged. My child spilled a blue drink and the towel was used to clean up the spill. The towel could have been washed and the drink would’ve come out. This makes me question if they actually do clean their linens. So after 9 years of visiting this hotel our last trip was indeed our last.

My wife and I were affected by the tornado that hit Houston in May 2024. We were without power and didn’t want to stay in the house during that time as it felt unsafe. Called this hotel to confirm they had power and was told yes. The agent then attempted to make the reservation over the phone but I declined so I can get my rewards w/ Hotels.com. Booked within 5 mins and showed up within 15. The front desk was very polite and apologized for the weather leading to our stay. The property was clean inside and out. Beds were comfy, rooms clean, staff wonderful. Pleasant place to stay even though I was a local. The property even offered my wife an I a Late check out while we waited to see if we would get power back the next day. Overall 10/10 and I will make it a thing to book all of my staycations as well as refer anyone I know who is coming to town to book with this hotel in specific.

The stay wasn’t bad, but the first room I got wasn’t clean at all. Like house keeping just didn’t do it and lied to the front desk. I went back to the front desk and he fixed it right away. There was a weird smell in the hall and room that eventually went away. Shower head look like it could be changed out or cleaned better. Other than it was quiet.

Rooms were adequate, with good price. Early morning staff felt bothered when asked for assistance.
