The air conditioning wasn’t working in the first room. Staff kindly moved us to another room, but that one was just as hot. Everything else was fine.

It was a good stay but they need to get a better handle on how pets are managed. The elevators smell like dogs and urine. Overall good visit.

If you are planning to enjoy the evening weather and relax in the lounge chairs outside of the pool area, you won’t lol the highway is right there and the sound of the vehicles is pretty loud. Also, I would recommend requesting a room facing the parking lot. The hotel staff were pleasant and friendly. Room was very spacious.

This hotel is fantastic. Quiet hotel, quiet area, close to lots of amenities, close to the race track. It's very clean, and I think the rooms are laid out really well.

Easy to access from the highway, but still quiet. Sitting area with a fire pit and chairs out back. Very clean. Beds were comfortable and clean. Complimentary breakfast with plenty of choices. Close to shopping, restaurants etc. Staff was amazing and very reasonably priced! I will always check for a Country Inn now whenever we travel.

Everything was very clean. The bathroom is a little outdated and couch/chair a little worn. The photo in my booking app showed us getting a King room with jacuzzi but we were not given that room. Staff was very friendly.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel was modern, clean, tidy and yet welcoming - parking was safe. Hotel is strategically located with a gas station close by and lots of dining options within walking distance.

The biggest problem is I felt unsafe. There were over 20 pick up trucks and utility/construction trucks in the parking lot with men loitering and men in the hotel. I was told by the staff that the hotel give Duke Energy and other utility/construction companies discounted rates. I had trouble even parking my car because there were so many pick up trucks sticking out of their spots. Also, the highway noise at night was very loud and I couldn't sleep.

Location was perfect for me and my husband, we were able to walk to grab dinner, the outside area was super cute, the jacuzzi tub in our room was fantastic! Great place to stay!!

I booked this room while visiting family for the weekend. Hotel was nice. But, it is on a highway. If sounds do not bother you in the middle of the night, then this hotel would be just fine. But the noises from motorcycles and semi trucks kept me up all night. We ended up leaving early because I couldn't sleep. This didnt bother my husband or kids, but I am a light sleeper and couldn't take it. Our room was nice. Hotel in general was nice. Good location. Clean.

This place is pretty and a great location. The jetted tub we got in our room had an orange residue all over it. We had asked for house keeping to come but they did not, and then we found a “do not disturb” door hanger on our door, but we did not put it there. We had to ask for more towels, more toilet paper, more coffee and cleaning supplies for the tub. Breakfast was okay, eggs really liquidy. Pool was nice and out door area was beautiful. Still kind of disappointed since it was expensive and lacking in cleanliness.

Parking stalls were a little bit tight to exit your car. Breakfast tables were not arraigned for chairs to get pulled out and people go around and get to unoccupied tables. Grounds were well maintained and staff was knowledgable. Would stay there again. .

Pleasant up-to-date, clean property We reserved a suite because my son is on the autism spectrum and he can't sleep in the same room with others. He just can't sleep that way so we arrived at the suite and found that it had no door. The bedroom had no door dividing the living area and sleeper sofa from the bedroom area.

Friendly Staff. Staff maintained a clean hotel. I saw them mopping hallways often downstairs. Breakfast staff was excellent. Little things like room maintenance: caulking, broken blinds, stains were not inviting. You could hear I-77 traffic all night. AC unit was one of the noisy types, but it did help drown out the sound of 18 wheelers down-shifting all night.

Value, location, cleanliness TV was down entire evening and staff on during the evening were not informed of the outage and not authorized to offer any compensation to guests until the manager came on duty the next day, after many already had to check out. Since there is no pool, it made for a long evening, even if you worked out or went for a walk.

It met our need for any overnight on drive home from Florida. We would have liked a comfortable chair for tv watching and relaxing in our room.

The location was good, nice area. Restaurants and gas station being in the vicinity was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd like to give a special thanks to Joanne. I arrived too early for checking from a somewhat rough travel experience. I called to see if there was any availability. Joanne told me she didn't have anything at the moment but she would call me back if a room became available. She called me back even though nothing was yet vacant. I told her it was ok I had an event to go to. To my surprise I was upgraded when I arrived to my room. That was great customer service on her part. I called back to personally thank her but was told she only works on weekends. Please let her know she is appreciated. I didn't like that the safety latch on the door was broken. There was a small piece of a snickers wrapper on the floor. That seems like it's not a big deal but it made me curious as to how clean the floor was. I ended up just washing up in the sink bc the shower had grime on the walls. I didn't feel comfortable using it. Also, the sliding door window to a shared balcony didn't sit well with me. I'm more precautionary about my safety and security as a woman traveling alone. This is why I was anxious about the window. I could not figure out how to get the heat to come up. The room was freezing. I set it to heat but it never came on. I called the front desk and she said I could use the walk ctrl or use the settings on the actual unit. I never found a setting. All it did was open the vent. I didn't want anyone in my room so I just asked for an extra blanket that I had to retrieve from the front desk myself. I guess you pay for what you get.

Hey, it was OK. Location? Convenient but noisy. Breakfast? Yep. Coffee 24/7 which was nice at front desk area. Maid service? If you needed it. Ice? Not on my floor. Water & snacks? $$$$! Outside fire pit was a real plus and they had a little heated swimming pool!

The room was very nice but the bathroom needs attention. Weirdly, there were no towel racks and not even a hook on the door— absolutely no place to put towels. The shower/bath tub is unsafe— not a single safety handle, no safety mat and curtains, not a door. Very, very slippery.

This was a perfect spot for our son's soccer tournament in the area. Staff members were helpful, the room was great, the indoor pool, putting green, and ping pong table were an nice addition, and the staff even opened up breakfast early for us on Sunday to make it to our first game. Thank you!

Upon arriving at our room, one of the two key cards did not work. The television wasn't programmed. The room was clean and equipped. There were a lot of kids staying at the hotel due to a nearby tournament. During the evening, someone tried kicking down our door, yelling to be let in. Clearly, had the incorrect room number. Breakfast in the morning was chaotic and messy.

Room was a bit dated had a stagnant smell when we walked in front desk lady was not very welcoming. The appearance of the hotel from the outside in the lobby were beautiful, but misleading. It was OK for our one night day, but I wouldn’t have been comfortable staying longer than a night as it wasn’t very clean either in our room.

They were renovating the building so the rooms didn't match the what was advertised online . But the staff was very nice. The breakfast wasnt that fresh either

What stood out the most was the staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 7 am and the check in time wasn't until 3 pm. They had us in our room and resting by 10 am. They never acted inconvenienced or put out by us being early. Quite the opposite. The price was reasonable and the location was accessible to Charlotte and the greater Charlotte area. They made our stay a very nice experience. Two thumbs up!

Stay here when in town for years

The room was decent. We paid the extra money for a jacuzzi in the room, which was nice. I was wishing there was more blankets overnight because we were cold, even after turning the heat up. The traffic was loud all night, so we weren't rested at all in the morning. However, the breakfast was delicious with several choices. We really loved the beverage station and opted for the various flavors of mineral water.

I was booking at the front desk online and I asked the lady on the the desk if I was booking the correct property and she said yes and then I booked it and then she goes. Oh, I’m sorry that’s not the right property after I had already paid for it and then I wound up having to pay twice. We’ll never stay there again.

Staff in the evening was okay. Didn’t interact too much. Wasn’t overly helpful, friendly. Didn’t inform us of wifi code or breakfast hours. We were on the road and got in late after spending 2 1/2 hours in traffic due to 95 being closed. There was no curtain on the window in the bedroom. Fortunately we were too tired to have the noise from the highest keep us up and I travel with an eye mask. I informed the morning front desk about the curtain in the room. He seemed a bit surprised, but unapologetic.

The room was ok. It was clean. The jetted tub looked bigger in the pictures. The pump for the jets was really loud but it worked and it filled up fast. No ice machine on our floor.

The pillows were square like throw pillows on the couch and they were very lumpy. There was no bedding in the room for the slipper sofa and I booked it for three and when I went down there to get some, she just grabbed some off a cart and gave it to me wasn’t even in a bag or anything.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Only negatives would be the property shows some wear and tear. And due to the location you could hear a lot of highway noise.

My king bed was very hard, and my daughter complained about feeling the mattress springs in the pull out, she slept on the couch as a regular couch. Other then that we did not have any issues with this hotel.

Country Inn & Suites Huntersville was the cleanest hotel that we have ever stayed at. The folks at the front desk were very friendly. We got the room with the jet tub and pull out sofa bed, but due to my son's sensory issues, we had to request to switch rooms in the middle of the night so that we could get sleep (no fault of the hotels). The lady at the front desk was so kind and understanding and had no issues helping us. The next morning, the gentleman at the front desk checked on us to make sure that we were good and had everything that we needed. The location is great and there are so many places to eat and check out that are close. The pool area was clean and warm! They also had a fire pit out on the patio. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

The staff here was extremely accommodating and kind. The rooms were clean. The only thing that I would suggest is repairing cosmetic damage like dents in walls, painting, etc., it would increase the overall charm of the hotel. Don’t mind me, I’m picky. But it’s a beautiful property overall. Cleanliness and customer service is definitely a thing for me. I didn’t eat breakfast, so I cannot provide feedback on that. As someone who usually stay at Hilton properties, the cleanliness was very comparable. I would definitely stay here again.

The toilet seat was not bolted to the toilet so when I called the front desk and she assured me the problem would be fixed, we unpacked and left to visit family. We got back 5 hours later and the problem was not fixed (rm 309) I went to the front desk and there was a different woman who informed me that there isn't a maintenance person at the property and that one comes once a week to address problems. We were moved to room 321 which required us to repack our stuff and move down the hallway. That room was fine but the handle on the toilet was fixed in the down position and was difficult to flush. The property looks fine from the outside but is run down and old on the inside. Will never stay there again. As far as the issue at hand, we had to leave on Sunday for a family emergency and asked that The manager contact us who was never on the property during our stay. My wife was contacted and he told her she was a liar that he had put people back in that room and they hadn't complained. And he said the only way we could get a refund was to contact Expedia but I didn't pay Expedia I paid the hotel. Eventually we got the money for the day we didn't stay back on our American Express card.

I tried flipoing switches to see if that would help and it didn't. I then replied to the text they send upon check in when there are issues and i did not get a reply. We ended up checking out around 8:30 am as we couldn't take the cold any longer. I explained to the representative at the front desk the heat situation and he honestly did not seem concerned. We've reached out to Expedia for assistance so we will see what happens.

I didn't receive the two queen room I booked but a king with a sofa bed. Upon asking, I was told no other rooms were available. The room rate for that night also went down from the time of booking and I ended up paying about $60 more than the current rate.

The bathroom was clean, a little outdated and looked like the tub/shower had been given the "landlord special" for caulking but again, it was clean so that's most important. The breakfast in the morning had an okay variety for a free breakfast and the dining room was spacious. I didn't go to the pool but the outdoor courtyard was nice! We (and a few others who checked in after us) did have an issue with parking. They completely ran out of parking spaces since they were fully booked. We were told to park in a loading zone area and that worked for us. Someone else pulled their vehicle into the landscaping. I did hear suggestions being made to park overnight at the restaurant next door and I don't know if that's a great idea unless there's an agreement with the restaurant. Other than the limited parking, we were fully satisfied with our stay here and I would stay at this site again.

The staff was lovely, the main reception area was cozy, the room was very worn and in need of an update. They offered coffee and flavored water in the main lobby. There was a breakfast buffet which seemed to offer variety (I did not partake in the offerings as I had other plans.). The room was not properly cleaned. There was trash from a previous guest. The bathroom faucet sprayed water everywhere. There was a box for a safe, but it was empty. The caulk around the tub was cracking. The furniture was worn. The bed was okay. The kitchen area showed a smaller refrigerator that must have been replaced as there was now extra room with the exposed wood from the wall showing where the previous fridge must have touched. The room needed updated painting and the shelve in the bathroom holding pictures looked about ready yo fall down.

The hotel room seems nice enough at first glance, but a close examination of the bathroom reveals it’s quite old construction that’s been updated with modern counters and fixtures. The AC unit in the room was incredibly loud and dated… it actually woke me up at one point during the night.

We have stayed here each time we come to the Carolina Renaissance Fair. It’s convenient and fairly priced. The beds are very comfy. There are dining options right next door within easy walking distance which was very nice. My only complaint is because it’s right by 77 , there is some traffic noise occasionally, so bring a sound machine.

We always choose this hotel when we come to the area. Our son loves the indoor pool. It’s conveniently located, clean, and quiet. Staff has always been super friendly and helpful.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the property itself was a bit rundown. Carpets dirty, elevators dirty. Room smelled like a combination of urine and cigarette smoke. Air fresheners were overly used to try and mask the odors of the property. Would not return to this property especially at the price point they are charging.

The hotel itself was fine. We checked in late at night and were put in a suite. The sitting room had a urine smell. We addressed it with the man at the front desk when we checked out. He said it was a pet friendly room. Maybe pet friendly rooms shouldn’t be carpeted. Just a thought.

There were signs of wear on some of the doors etc nothing major. Did like the flavored water dispenser. Breakfast was standard free breakfast.

Stayed here twice. One night on the way to Florida and two nights on the way back home. The first room was not overly clean. The room on the way home was cleaner. They were spacious and the beds were comfortable. There had at one time been a safe in the room which was now just a door in the wall. The bedroom doors have been taken off but not replaced. They were rooms in need of updating and repairs. The breakfast was edible but not the best. There were good restaurants within walking distance which was nice. We would probably not stay at this hotel again.

Additionally, another attendant was unable to operate the fire pit, that we did not get to enjoy, and the ping pong set for the table could not be located. Overall, it did not feel as though our experience as guests was valued. What was meant to be a special occasion did not feel special, and based on this experience, we likely would not return.

I didn’t get the name of the person who checked us in but she’s very helpful in checking us early. We are from Pennsylvania traveling to Florida. And my husband drove for 7 hours from PA to here in NC. Again, thank you for the very good service.

Employees were nice. A lot of different dining options in the area. It was nice having a noon checkout as most hotels are earlier. Breakfast was your basic continental breakfast but still good. I would stay again

The only complaint I can say is the Internet was not good. We never were able to have good Internet service. Other than that , everything was great. We will stay with them again.

Hotel has a bad smell

I workout a lot and was rather sore and looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub (which has since been removed, my fault for not confirming it was still there I guess)

Cons: some maintenance/upkeep issues in the room such as the ceiling light/fan malfunctioning, a loose bathroom doorknob, and a crackling A/C. Overall, we would stay here again.

The staff was very courteous smooth check in rooms were very clean and well-kept. Would definitely recommend not to mention it had great eateries and close proximity of the property.

Awesome property! We stayed one night and we enjoyed everything about it. Free parking and shops and restaurants near this hotel! The only thing that I would state is to be early for breakfast so you can have fresher food!

The staff were extremely helpful. The neighborhood felt safe and the location was convenient. The room was well kept and provided more than enough space for a 3 day work trip.

Bad: the service. I stayed 8 days. I ask for service since 4 day. And not get it until sixth day of my stayed. And not refill body soap or hand soap.. About breakfast, the cereal was disgusting only to watched. Was dry and separeted water . Some days the sausage was dry. Others, the egg and sausage patty have bad flavor. Some pillows smell bad. For 2 people only leave 3 towels for 8 days, and ignores for 3 days requested service. They dont allow eat in dining room after 9.00am.

It was a great stay for us

Check in was nice and easy, we rented the Jacuzzi tub suite. Our room was clean and the staff was really nice! They also had a complementary coffee bar and flavored sparkling water in the lobby open 24/7. Nice pool and fitness room. Cute little putting range outside and nice patio seating. The breakfast was really great they had hot foods such as eggs,sausage and potatoes. Toast and bagels and oatmeal bar which was cool. Yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit, huge variety of cereals and danishes. They also had juices to drink and coffee. The hotel itself was very homey feeling and quite.

AC unit was not working in the room as well as the hallways in the whole 3rd floor. Bed was lumpy, noisy and uncomfortable. Sand also found in bed. Breakfast was mediocre. Facility was clean overall and staff was very friendly.

Terrible pillows and coffee, but the breakfast potatoes were good and they have an awesome sparkling or still water machine in lobby. Cucumber flavor was the best. Good location with gas station right there

My husband and I switched to this hotel after staying at the hotel garden inn down the road and it was a relief. Everyone was nice, nice rooms, situated in a good spot near food and shopping. Pool was smaller than picture depicted, parking lot is not made for big vehicles- and pick up truck should probably park in the back. Pool door was not working to get back in from the outside. The “put-put” is definitely only made for toddlers.

We only stayed one night, but absolutely loved the hotel. It was quiet and spacious. We traveled with our dogs and they had plenty of room to walk and enjoy the area.

Friendly staff. Clean room. The jetted tub was great and it was clean, just a little noisy. I enjoyed my stay.

Liked that we could walk to get something to eat for dinner. Would suggest putting a fan in the bathroom and also extra hanging spots in bathroom. Great place and great stay though!

Used the pool while I was there which I enjoyed and the breakfast was good. Staff were friendly, but overall my room felt run down and needed updating.

This property was in a nice location. Slightly outside of Charlotte, but close enough to drive the 25 minutes. Also loved the great shopping and restaurants near by. Great location and would stay again.

Hairs were all around the tub, bathroom not clean, and check out is at 12 but around 11am as i took some stuff to my vehicle, housekeeping had come into my room and began working on it without my permission! I was furious!

Booked a suite for three nights. Paid more for this hotel than others in the area so that my partner and I could each have a room in order to work remotely. There were certainly two rooms - but no door. Everything was very outdated. We sneezed almost the entire time which makes me think someone had a cat in there before us OR just poor cleaning. The elevator was sketchy - we thought the door may not open at one point. It also immediately tries to close. Housekeeping was pretty loud cleaning rooms and didn't mind that our door was blocked when we were trying to leave and manuever our luggage around their cart. I think they need to invest some of their proffits into upgrades. That's likely the last time we will be staying there.

We enjoyed our Stay. The property is right next door to the Melting Pot, so we often stay here on our anniversary or on our birthdays.

This hotel seems like a motel 6 that tried to spruce up a bit but failed. The tub/shower combo and tiny bathroom were the worst I've seen at this price point. Shower pressure was above average though. The toliet also sounds like a jet taking off when flushed. The lighting was too bright throughout the "suite". Very white bright lights in every lamp. Like blinding white light. The ac unit was in window and loud. We actually swapped rooms upon arrival as the first had a high pitch squeal when turned on. The traffic heard outside was annoying. I can only assume the same very loud mufferless car zooms up and down the side road early in the mornings and afternoons. Not the hotels fault but worth mentioning. The ammenities are zero. The coffee served is foldgers which I also haven't seen in like 10 years or more. Parking is ridiculously small strange angles full of too big trucks so you lose some spots just due to accessibility. I guess this is a spot for road workers to crash as old men were getting drunk in the parking lot on their truck beds on weeknights. The price point can only be due to location. Its prime location.

Shower could have been cleaner and floors on kitchenette had some dirt as well. Nice room layout plenty of space could you a little updating in bathroom. Staff were friendly and breakfast was decent. Pool is small.

This hotel was a sweet home away. The front desk was friendly and helpful, There are several great restaurants and a gas station within walking distance from the property. Lovely sittting areas, a great breakfast every morning, and the water bottle refill station was great. The place is spotless. The staff provided any extras i needed. 20 minutes outside of downtown gave me peace and quiet.

The front desk staff is super helpful and friendly, especially the girl with the red hair who seem to be there every time we needed something from the front desk! Grandma, mom, and granddaughter all shared a room with the hot tub which was clean and extremely relaxing! We absolutely loved our stay. It was about 20 minutes from the Concord Mall which was huge and we had a great day shopping.
