Elev8 Hotel Los Angeles LAX

Basic hotel room, close to sporting and entertainment venues. We were able to walk to our concert at the Kia Forum. Neighborhood a little sketchy but it is L.A. We were able to walk to an IHOP for breakfast about 1/2 block away. Room not fancy, just basic. Bed did not seem to be a queen size but a full size. We would stay here again if we have another concert to go to.

Clean room

Outstanding service. It is a perfect place to walk to SoFi Stadium or Intuit Dome only minutes away. They have parking, nice room, and friendly staff. So much better than sitting in traffic pre and post game with some quick food places also close by. Will definitely stay there again for Rams or Clippers game.

Parking is good however you have to pay extra for it and they surcharge it if there is an event going on near by. the bathroom door needs to be replaced in unit 205 and weatherstripping around the entry door might cut down on the plane noise. This is an older property and they are working on refurbishing the rooms but have not completed the renovations.

The location The first night was fine but the next morning my door wouldn’t open. So they made me climb thru the window reassuring me they would fix it. When I returned late I could not get into my room. I went to the office and they made me again climb thru a the window to get my belongings and finally gave me a new room. When I asked if they would give me some sort of refund they said no. I would not stay here again. It was terrible. If no one was in the office I would of had to sleep in my car

The room had spider web hanging. There were hairs on the bed and pillows. There were also stains on the covers. The bathroom shower head covered in rust. The air vent filled with dust and smelled. Was not able to sleep the whole night due to the unsanitary. Will not be returning here again. This place is not worth it save yourself a headache.

Very old hotel that recently got a remodel. The beds were clean and bathroom was clean. Just old trim and doors that were scuffed up and some tile grout cracking. Thick wooden blinds kept the sunlight out well. Air conditioner worked well. The towels were a little on the cheap side but comfy bed. Old shower/tub. Decent for a quick one night stay near SoFi Stadium and LAX.

The inside of the room was OK. It was the outside that was a problem for us, lots of traffic going on people hanging out outside. What looked to be like somebody was having a party in one of the rooms hardly got any rest because you can hear people walking back-and-forth. I booked for two nights but did not stay the last night. I spoke with front desk about issuing a refund. They stated that they would, but I have yet not to receive that.

I can understand why even the elevator is card-locked... What a crappy area this hotel is located in. Why is it that near airports always become run-down and grimey areas? The room (320) itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, and plenty of outlets to power my various tools. The air conditioning was spotty, I would set the temp (I prefer 65) and put the fan on high and the darn thing would not stay on. I guess the thermostat works as designed. The shower was decent and powerful, just wish for more room in it. Overall, a good place.

This is a motel 6 that has been remodeled...barely.... basically new sheets and thats it. Dont be shocked when you pull up in the ghetto of inglewood. Also airports down the street, therefore all the low flying jets are directly overhead and extremely low and loud all hours of the night and am. This is located in the ghetto near all the liqour stores beware

If you have an event to go to at the Inuit dome this is the right place to stay on 10 min walk. It’s affordable, safe, and convenient. There is not many food options close by but they do have a nice lobby that allows you to purchase snacks and basic toiletries. Parking on the property is $15 and the day/night of an event it’s $25 even if you are staying in the hotel.

Room felt a bit lacking and bare-minimum. A/C didn’t really cool the whole room, just the area by the A/C. The worst part was that the beds were not quite Queens, definitely smaller. Staff was nice and attentive though, definitely the highlight.

The room was not very good the sheets had stains and rust spots, the door on the refrigerator if you didn't close it exactly perfect it would hit the wood on the side and stay open the bathroom was absolutely terrible. The plaster was coming off of the bathtub the toilet sheet was about to come off the towels were made for children and they were rough as sandpaper I took pictures and videos but I can upload them. I will never stay there again not for the money you would do better staying at Motel 6

Parking was $10. Staff was a single person besides house keeping. Bed, sink, and toilet were clean but the bathtub was peeling/chipping. Body wash was basically empty in the shower.

Room was small but fine because it was just me. Kept it pretty clean. Had a plumbing issue and notified the desk before I was out for the day. When I got back the problem was resolved. Good parking availability and not far from LAX and sports venues. Plus many fast food places around in a pinch.

Strong musty smell in room. Very noisy outside during day. Bed pillows were hard like rocks and very uncomfortable. Towels were very dingey looking and unpleasant to use. On the plus side, parking was easy and close to room, reasonably priced at $10 per day. Get what you pay for I guess. Next time will pay more money to stay in nicer hotel.

I had a good stay at this hotel with no issue. Close to the Intuit Dome where I watched a Clippers game and saved money on parking. Mexican restaurant across from the hotel was good.

The room and rest room are with very good space. The location is perfect for attending event in Intuit Dome and SoFi. The coffee taste good. The rest room smells a bit with smoke/weed.

VERY LOUD, we stayed in the second floor and I could technically hear everything from the 3rd floor people. every step taken felt like the were literally running on wood, neighbors had a dog the last day of our stay and he did not shut up one second ALL night and we had an early flight.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable air conditioning and bedding wise. Main issue was the thin walls and being able to hear every person in the hallway and every car drive by and drive into the hotel.

The staff was helpful when ask for advise about the venues in the area.

Overall, a nice stay here. The towels are a little flimsy but it’s not terrible. I appreciated the elevator to the 3rd floor. Helped so much w/ luggage. The area was quiet. I felt safe. Good place to stay whenever I go to the Kia forum! Super close! And Lyft is well priced from the forum to the hotel! Thanks!

I rarely complain about a hotel, but this was the loudest room I have ever stayed in and I stay in hotels a lot. Road noise was horrible and air conditioner had a bad rattle, even with earplugs in I barely slept. Room was spacious and clean. They were also doing construction right next to our room, walls were rattling with all the banging. I understand construction has to happen sometimes but at least apologize for noise. Never saw a restaurant as listing says there is. I had a reservation for next month too but canceled it as soon as I got home, I will stay elsewhere.

The king bed room was spacious & decor was updated. We were going to a concert at YouTube, which is about a 5 minute drive. We stayed one night. I wouldn’t stay here longer than one night. The area isn’t the best. We had to kill about 5 flys in the room. The street is busy with noise. People asking if you know where to buy drugs. On site parking for $10 a night is ok. Glad our vehicle was safe. I’m surprised about all the great reviews. Just wasn’t what I thought it would be.

Good budget motel.

The best part of this hotel is it's location to Sofi and Intuit Dome along with the cost. The combined value makes this place a must return for me. The owner Umang is an exceptional host. I didnt like the noise from the planes flying over the hotel during the night. This hotel is so close to the airport you hear planes almost rattle the hotel it's self.

The property is clean and does have microwave and fridge in rooms, it's a total win! The noise from the airplanes at night is annoying, this is no fault of the hotels doing just comes with the territory.

The only reason I gave it a 9 was when exiting my room, I had to breathe someone else's marijuana smoke. As the rooms are non-smoking these other guests decided to smoke their marijuana out in the parking lot.

For the value and convenience it was great basic motel. Loved that they had a mini fridge and microwave And coffee maker in case you wanted to bring your own food. And as for the complainers if you want a 5 star hotel go to the Beverly Hills Hotel and pay triple. The walls were a little thin and you could slightly hear through them, but it was not a deal breaker.

This place is a great value for the area.

The room was clean and neat. At around 2 am a loud banging in the pipes started and wouldn’t let up, it was very difficult to sleep. When we woke up the rain had come in the window and the front door. The coffee maker didn’t work either. I spoke to the man at the front desk but nothing was done for the inconvenience. It is a 5 min Uber ride to the Kia Forum which was our main goal.

The pictures are deceiving. Although the rooms seem to have been recently renovated, there was still quite a few opportunities for improvement. The shower head doesn’t work properly, leaving the shower stream hit the edge of the bath tub, leaking all over the floor - therefore, damaging and rotting the door frame and walls of the bathroom. The front desk staff didn’t seem very friendly or welcoming. The entry door of the room didn’t seal properly, making it feel very much insecure. The rooms are not insulated at all, all sounds/noise could be easily heard, especially when carpentry and maintenance work began at 7am. The beds and pillows were also not comfortable.

The room was dirty. The towels had hair on them as well as the bed sheets. The check in process was not convenient. Their check in policy posted of their wall says it’s 2pm but the guy said we had to wait till 3pm. The guests that stayed at this hotel had a fight going on at 3am, it echoed loud because the parking garage is on the first floor. There are random people that walk in and out of the building because it’s an open floor plan. Definitely not safe.

The room was surprisingly big for the price. Had to pay for parking, which I always hate, but it was $7/night which wasn't bad. Walking distance to SoFi and The Forum. The bathroom could probably use some updating; there were stains in the tub that were a little icky.

It’s a good hotel for nearby concerts, the gentleman was nice enough to let me check in a bit early and the cleaning staff was very sweet. The room was clean and equipped with a fridge and microwave. If the staff remains as great as they are I’d definitely stay again.

Early checkin, reasonable rate, allowed me to store luggage for 8 hours after checkout. Large room, everything in the bathroom worked, comfortable bed and pillows. Mini fridge and small microwave. Area is a bit sketchy but didn’t feel dangerous.

The room got upgraded when it wasn't available at check-in. It was warm and comfortable with the area being surprisingly quiet. The room was spacious and loaded with amenities. The staff was great.

The hotel was not luxurious but it was perfect for our needs to see an Eagles game. We were able to walk to the stadium and back. It was clean and we had no issues.

Very noisy, motel not a hotel. I actually left and went to book another hotel. Convenient for a football game but be aware even if you stay there for the night they will charge you 50$ for the parking during game days. Nothing to do except a football game in that area.

Room was clean, staff were friendly and price was great. It is close to the airport which I knew but didn't think I would hear the planes as much as I did. I heard every noise through the thin walls. If you are a light sleeper do not stay here without ear phones to block out the noise.

The room was easy on the eye, but not clean. The floors and sheets were visibly dirty. The towels were grey and wrinkled There wasn’t evidence that any cleaner or detergent had been used on anything.

They was a repair made on the wall and you can here a tapping. It never stops. Then we my horror there was a dead roach inside the coffee marker water dispenser. The smoke alarm was very sensitive, I set it off twice (used hair oil on wet hair, my bad)

The room was extremely clean, and the staff were pleasant. We stayed at this hotel foe one night so that we could walk to and from a football game at nearby SoFi Stadium. The only negative is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise as the hotel is located on Century Boulevard. However, we knew that when we booked the room and were still able to sleep. I was truly surprised how large and clean the room and the bathroom were. The flooring is very nice and well maintained.

The room needed some additional cleaning when we arrived. Appeared it had been surface level-cleaned. The clerk who checked us in was not very friendly and appeared bothered any time a question or request was made.

Management and Expedia took no responsibility on how our room roof was leaking. Puddles of water in our room and too top it all off our non smoking room smelled like smoke. Sad on what we had to go through.

Property is actually a motel, no lobby or central location for check-in. Otherwise, the stay was fine. The whole region is in transition right now with continuous development coming; some of the grunge factor I am sure will improve in the next several years.

When we checked in, we were assigned room 311. After being in the room for an hour or so we heard dripping in the ceiling and called down to the front desk and complained about the noise. The employee at the front desk told us that they knew about the noise And tried cutting into the ceiling or roof, but could not find the problem. I was a little surprised that they would reassign the same room that still had the problem and we had to move rooms to avoid the noise. After the first night housekeeping did not restock our coffee so we had to go down to the front desk and ask for coffee for the following morning. The room was very clean, but it was a massive headache to have to repack all our stuff and move rooms to avoid the noise in the ceiling.

Unprofessional staff. I paid in advance, called in advance to confirm no down/ feathers in the room due to allergies. Initial response was that they don’t allow pets. She had no idea. Asked the manager who assured there were no feathers used on property. I try to check in at 9 pm after traveling for 10 hours only to be told that they would not allow me to use room because they could not confirm no feathers! This is basic lodging issue. I said I could look- they refused. Now I am in LA during busy holiday and event weekend at 9 pm with no where to stay. Awful! They went rounds trying to blame me and more excuses. Then would not refund my prepaid money until i got 3rd party involved. Unsafe conditions. Horrible! Stay away!!

He called 1/2 before check out to harass and just 5 minutes after checkout called the room. My wife was using the restroom and had raced to grab the phone and was told I had already turned in the keys and we were checked out. There is no bathroom in the lobby and she was not feeling well. We will never stay at this place ever again.

For the price, it was exactly what you would expect. The room was mostly clean, and check in was straightforward. It is right under the flight pattern at LAX so we just heard nonstop planes making it tough to sleep.

Given the area it was an okay option for a one night stay. Walls were thin as you could hear everything from outside. Almost like an echo because of the setup. Other than that safe, and a close walk to intuit dome.

Going in, I was concerned about safety in the area, but the hotel was very secure and safe, even late at night after the game. And I was pleasantly surprised with the room! I expected a basic, no frills room with a bed and TV, because that's what the rate suggested. But the room looked and felt much more fancy than I expected, certainly wasn't basic by any means! And it's QUIET! Even with a sliding door to a balcony overlooking Century Blvd. (I was on the 3rd floor) I didn't hear any street noise and slept very well. TIP: If you want to get a car to explore, there's an Enterprise rental car place literally right next door. I picked up a car at LAX to drive to the beach, then dropped it off at check-in. VERY convenient!

This was a perfect hotel for our trip. We were there for a game at SoFi. Within walking distance of the stadium, clean, polite and helpful. The shower head was terrible. No water pressure. Other than that, it was great. Definitely recommend.

Staff was extremely nice!! Best customer service I have experienced. Room is lovely, nice, clean and comfy. The location of the hotel is kinda sketchy but overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

I think the only bad thing was the smell of marijuana that I perceived once in while. Imagine, if I could smell it inside the room what would it be outside? Also it was noisy at night and early in the morning too, not so bad but enough to wake you up.

Everything thing we needed was taken care of and everyone was nice and made sure we were comfortable. Definitely would use again!

the outside noise is terrible but the noise coming from within the walls was torture, multiple drip an knocking noises made it near impossible to sleep. made what was supposed to be a romantic night unbearable.

The room was nice. Be prepared cause we had to walk 3 flights of stairs. It was super close to Kia forum. There is a great pupusa place across the road. The room was clean, air worked great. Also if you aren’t from the area be aware you will hear airplanes flying over all night- which is also cool cause you can see the big planes fly over from the balcony. I would definitely stay again if I needed a budget friendly place to stay while at Sofi or Kia forum.

Everything was good

Elevator was not working and we were on the third floor and I have problems with my niece. I was not very happy about that. I’m 71 years old.

Very spacious room, especially the bathroom! Our shutters weren’t working properly but the pull-down blinds covered the entire window area so no big deal. Paid parking onsite for a fair fee.

It was good enough for a quick stop and go but not going back that’s for sure .

Excellent stay, at first I was hesitant to book here based on some reviews… but I was happy with the price and location, we went to a concert at the Intuit dome and stayed 2 nights parking was only $7/night, we walked to the event about 1/2 a mile down.. it was amazing !!! Had we parked at the Intuit dome it would have cost us $70 🙀 now this hotel doesn’t have breakfast but that wasn’t a problem because the money we saved on parking and the room we just ubered some food for $25, the room was clean and very secure as you needed the key card to access the elevators, there was a fridge and microwave which was awesome because we always bring drinks, cup of noodles. Instant Oatmeal and popcorn , plus there was an ice machine on the 2nd floor! Also I always bring earplugs and an eye mask anywhere I stay so I slept like a baby even though the ✈️ planes were flying over! I would definitely stay here again given the price point and proximity to venues

The room was ok. The AC seemed broken. It didn’t get any cooler even when we adjusted it to higher degree. Over all it was ok. We pretty much just used the room to sleep in for a night after a concert.

Hotel did have on site parking for $7/ day, so that was a plus. Old Super 8 with doors opening to outside.

This was an ok place to stay. Within walking distance to Intuit Dome for a concert, which is why we booked it. First room they put us in the fridge didn’t work so they moved us. Room was ok. Towels were thin and older. It was noisy with the housekeeping carts outside the room. For the convenience I would stay here again if we were going to another event but it was a bit run down

Very, very clean rooms. Very close to stadiums (SOFI, intuit dome) and convenient for concerts or events. Building and room is older, and very poor sound proofing; could hear upstairs neighbours stomping around all night. Otherwise, nothing to complain about and very comfortable.

Had an issue with the card key but the staff was very helpful rectifying the issue.

Nice motel

Staff was nice, room was clean. Keep in mind, you're very close to the airport. If the noise will bug you, I wouldn't stay. I liked being that close to LAX so I didn't need to rent a car or anything to get around. I didn't use the wifi so I can't comment on that. AC worked very well in the room.

Not bad for a budget hotel near SoFi Stadium and LAX.

Elevator, got stuck in it. Door wouldn't open. Sink drain plug didn't work and never got help on it. Fixed it myself. Didn't clean our room until 530 pm and we returned and still cleaning the room.

Close to LAX and walking distance to SoFi stadium! The only issue was the street noise but the hotel has no control over that. We will stay here again.

Easy check in , close to the airport but no shuttle. The ride shared was very reasonable, however. I’d stay again.

Bed sheets were dirty, there were literally stains on every single sheet.

No parking spot came with the room. They charged 50 for an additional car and 7 for my car. Music was playing so loud from the houses next door i thought it was next door. Last during check-in they only had one computer and were checking perople in and out one at a time which toom forever.

First I’ll start with the rooms are spacious, the bed was comfortable, and I can appreciate the fact that there is no carpets in the rooms and the floor was actually very clean! Aside from the rooms and the hotel being very well kept up it’s in a great location just 5mins from LAX and in a very centric location to get around LA. Lastly I would like to add how amazing and great the front desk is, I left my Apple Watch while rushing to the airport to catch my 5am flight and I contacted the hotel, I arrange fedex pickup of my watch the hotel boxed my Apple Watch and shipped it. 100% will recommend this hotel and I will be staying again when in the LA area again! We had a very good experience at this Hotel. The staff was friendly. Such an easy quick check in and check out. The rooms were really nice and spacious! The bathroom!!! Very spacious bathroom to get ready in. We brought lunch back to eat and they have a table and chairs for that. Super modern clean and cool. It was walking distance to SoFi Stadium. Definitely will stay again.

No shuttle to airport

Absolutely disgusting, there was hair all over the bathroom and on the pillows !!! Went downstairs to ask for a refund at around 11pm. The girl worker said she could only issue a refund until 7am so i asked for another room. Went to the new room just to experience the EXACT same thing and on top of that my door didn’t lock! Super upset and asked the girl to please issue me a refund, she said she didn’t want to call her manager because she didn’t want to get introuble. She told me in her exact words “i already know how my manager is , he won’t do anything about it and he’ll just tell you the same thing i’m telling you” didn’t end up staying there, left super super dissatisfied and very disappointed. Still haven’t received my refund after a week later.

Not safe around area and poorly looked after property

This property is noisy and not very well maintained. It is very run down.

I stayed at this hotel for the Nike After Dark half Marathon and was disappointed to see that it was just a refurbished Motel 8. There were bars in the windows at check-in and after coming back from running like 14 miles, I was met at the elevator (which was outside) by a random person, wanting to come up to my room. The hotel didn’t feel safe (because of the area and access to rooms) and I moved the nightstand in front of the door and a chair to feels more secure. It was a convenient spot to access SoFi stadium but I would not stay here again.

Desk staff was short and not the nicest. Beds were worn a little and dirty on corners but not bad. Rooms were nicely renovated for the price so I appreciated the decor and it felt upscale in a way. Shutters in window did not fully close. Extra $7 for parking each night is also annoying.

I like the fact that it was a cash deposit. That way I was able to get my money back immediately, the bedroom was pretty big considered the area it was in and the staff was pretty decent. I would stay here again

The staff was exceptional. The room was clean. The beds weren't the most comfortable but overall weren't terrible. The area was not what I was expecting and based on that alone, I am not sure I would want to stay there again. The noise was pretty bad with other hotel guests screaming and yelling.

They don’t have a safe box, so don’t leave your belongings there — better to take them with you. I left my bag and even made a note on it so I could recognize it and make sure no one touched it. But when I came back, the zipper was in a different position — someone had opened my bag

It’s was adequate but not in the safest area for walking etc. but that’s LA in many parts. Little further from airport than what I thought. Price was ok, considering California is overpriced in all areas.

Very friendly staff to check in. Rooms are good sized and very clean. Close to forum, Intuit and SoFi. Walls seem thin as the smell of smoke wafted into our room on occasion and AC could use some help (although we are here during a heat advisory)

They charged me $50 for a friend to come visit me at the hotel for parking event parking and we didn’t even go to an event

At Kia forum to sleep. ample parking, and plenty of convenience /food within walking distance. Bed was clean, comfortable enough. Clean, No frills and but pretty basic.

A very sketchy area but everyone was nice. My sister commented after we got home if I noticed we were very white in a sea of colors! Yep, we were but I can’t say enough nice things about the residents and the fantastic Louisiana Chicken! Thanks Inglewood. We loved all the people we met who made our adventure memorable, in a good way!

It is a good cheap option to be able to walk to SoFi or where the basketball plays. Other than that, I’d stay somewhere else.

This location is great and cost effective for people wanting to spend their money on the many things Los Angeles has to offer. The complex was enclosed and felt very safe when coming in late. The manager was great and corrected a charge on my cars without a prompt and the person that checked me in was very polite and helpful. If I come back to Los Angeles this will be my preferred place to stay.

Upon arrival I was first told it would be $7 per car by the receptionist and then another male employee came over to say it was actually $50 for the second car due to events happening near by (which is why we’re staying here in the first place). He then kept insisting on asking for cash for that second car parking payment. This was very suspicious and inconvenient as it was never stated in the original message they sent me. When I brought that forward they didn’t seem to care. He even told me we could park it overnight elsewhere but it would probably be the same price or more and with less security. Ive never experienced this before and Ive stayed at other hotels within this area.

This hotel was shady. Our door was dented like someone had punched the door. Overall quality was poor, the pillows and even the towels were low quality.

The rooms themselves are on the smaller side, but the location was hard to be. Very close and easy to get to LAX, great food options around, and was a great price. They have parking, it was just a little tight and you will need cash.

Arrived at 4:30 .front desk said my room and floor number which is not a hotel procedure.We go up our room elevator was stuck.we arrive to the room and housekeeping is still cleaning it .we waited 10 min until we ask for another room ..

We booked here so we could walk to & from the Intuit Dome for a concert. It was perfect for that. The layout of the room was a bit odd. The staff was just ok, it was clean & Comfy. The pictures are so decieving. Not sure where they got that picture, but it wasn't this hotel. Only 1 elevator!
