Days Inn by Wyndham Jackson

There isn't many places to stay in Jackson. This place was a great location as you were so close to the downtown area. It did need some updating and better cleaning. We were disappointed that the pool was out of order. If you are looking for something that is just a place to stay, this isn't too bad. We were in town most of the time. Jackson is a cute town and we enjoyed all the Stranger things locations!

The room was basic but clean. The pool was closed and looked as though they have no intention of reopening it. The breakfast was very small very little selection. Service was poor and the man was grumpy before I even said hello. My young son was very disappointed but we made the best of our stay.

The room was dirty and nasty. There were bugs in the room, stains on the bed and hair. When mentioned to the owner he and his family yelled at my fiance and accused our family of making the mess. We had just checked in. We asked for a change of sheets or new room and were told they don’t have any cleaning to get us new sheets. We asked for our money back and they told us “no”. They kicked us out after we had already been driving for 10 hours that day. We were exhausted and displaced with our two kids. Out of money for a hotel that was disgusting and we couldn’t stay at. Do not book here!

Internet wasn’t the best but room was clean and bed and pillows comfortable. Toilet was very low to floor which is not comfortable for older visitors.

the room size the staff were not accommodating and we requested to change the dates as this is very far away from anything the reception staff said it was okay and when booking.com contacted them they refused we then went back to the reception who again said yes it was okay and yet again by no surprise they said no to booking.com (even though it stated we could cancel the reservation at any time with a charge of one night , to which we then requested to cancel which was also refused which meant we had to stay as we wasn't made aware till after 5pm that day we couldn't cancel , then the following day (morning 7.08 am exactly) a random man walked in on us while we were in bed I am assuming a cleaner who took way longer than he should in leaving upon noticing we were in bed - baring in mind we were naked I brought this to the receptions attention who said because we requested to cancel they assumed we left! we had not handed our door keys in there was no knock nothing WE FELT UNSAFE at this point we packed our bags and left as the staff was rude and dismissive and didn't even apologise for a man walking in to our room DISGUSTING also all the floor boards were lifting which cut my foot on the bottom never again

Had a terrible experience I didn’t even stay in the hotel because my room was so disgusting. Peeling floor boards and sticky tile floor in the bathroom. Sheets were dirty and there was hair on pillows. As well as greasy night stands and grease on tv. Gentleman at front desk did not speak English and had to call the woman that checked me in to talk on the phone.

Great location and comfortable beds. Decent place to stay and would stay again, there aren't many options in Jackson. Floors were dirty, chair was stained and nasty, and there was no bag in the ice bucket.

At check-in, there was no one there and I waited 15 minutes. The room is in a terrible state: the floor is coming loose, there’s mold in the shower, and it smells damp. It’s really average, even for one night. It urgently needs renovating! The bathroom is deplorable, and it’s very noisy, you can hear the footsteps of people upstairs!!

Clean room. There was a noise sometimes though. Sounded like a water pipe but not 100% sure. Will still stay again. I’ve stayed many times already.

It’s nothing fancy. Adequate for what we needed in a great location proximity to downtown Jackson so we are satisfied with the stay.

Upon arrival everything looked okay. As our time there went on we noticed stains on the sheets, the floor had not been cleaned properly (the bottoms of our socks were filthy), there were stains on the towels/rags, and the linoleum was coming up in several places. The freezer part of the fridge was full of ice build up and was unusable. However, the staff was available to get us what we needed when we needed it. The breakfast area was very small and had limited items.

Air conditioning works great but this entire hotel is smoking. No non-smoking rooms available.

Our stay at this hotel was good. Check in was very efficient and quick. The room was clean with comfortable bed and linens. The air conditioner and the wifi and tv worked well. The shower worked well with lots of hot water. The toilet was so good! I usually don't comment on a toilet, but the flush on this one was very strong. LOL. If there was a down side it was noise from someone walking in the room above us. However, the price was good, as was the location. Would I stay here again? Probably would.

The room was dirty and when we went back down to tell them the door to the lobby was locked so we couldn’t get in. It felt unsafe and had a lot of people hanging outside.

Location was great but the room was full of mold and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. I went back to the office to complain and no one was on-site. The office was empty and even when I went to check out the office was empty. The breakfast consisted of 3 bananas, 1 apple and a couple bagels. If it wasn't the only hotel in town I would've left.

Human waste under the toilet seat. No one was at the front desk, i rang the bell and no one came. We just left. I thought the Wyndham name would insure us a clean room but i was wrong. This hotel does not deserve to be included in your business.

It was a peaceful trip. Very quiet and felt safe. The tubs should be updated

They also had complementary coffee. The cloth chair in the room was dirty, and had what appeared to be red stains on the chair and wall behind it. The bed comforters were old and had a few black marks. These should be replaced instead of just washed.

Na Room extremely dirty with drain flies and larvae

Booked the room for the pool, pool was temporarily closed. Room wasn't properly cleaned, dr. Pepper can under the ac, along with a dirty sock. Dirty behind the toilet, stained towels and shower curtain. Really made you question if they were clean at all. Pillows were terrible. Ice machine was broke and free breakfast wasnt worth it. No hairdryer in room.

Aside from the floor peeling up, the room was clean. I would not stay there again. Pool was not open.

Pool was broken the whole stay, people next door was smoking weed in the room next to us to the point it was coming through our bathroom vent. The only good thing they had was room service everyday but the floor was not a priority to them to sweep and mop daily. I was going to rent the room for an extra night but quickly changed my mond

The hotel was okay, obviously they have been working on upgrading it as the rooms were decent, maybe not the cleanest we have seen but the price was decent. They did manage to get the rooms together despite being booked separately unfortunately they were upstairs which was hard with me as l have bad knees but l assume it was where the non-smoking rooms were because they were not busy at all. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable like the pillows but there were plenty of pillows and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was obviously pretty old and the floor in the bathroom looked dirty but l think it was just old. The TV was nice, plenty of channels and the room flooring was good. There was a microwave, fridge, table with chair and couch. We had a studio room. The entrance door stuck and you had to push hard on both rooms to get in as the frame was bent at the top. The room came with breakfast but l have no idea what time that was as when we asked at 8:20am we were told it was over. There was a pool but it was closed. Temps were in the high 80's to low 90's when we were there. We paid $104 and $113 and change for the rooms and they take an extra $25 per room deposit on top of the price but you get it back after the room is checked out first when you leave. We paid cash when we arrived but had secured the rooms with a credit card. This was a small hotel in Jackson, Georgia.

Great local motel

It was very dated and subpar. There is a car wash/vacuum station right outside and we could hear the vacuums going for hours. There was a huge gap in the door. Tv was tiny.

Thin walls and could hear my neighbor snoring, very little offered for “breakfast.” Four containers of yogurts, 2 cold cereals (fruit loops, Frosted Flakes), coffee & waffles to make.

That we are able to leave after our stay. Apparently, this was a Days Inn by Wyndham FRANCHISEE hotel. The father of the family was the inspector, security, and lookout. He made me feel VERY uncomfortable. Every time I looked up, he was staring at me (that is no exaggeration). The sons did the front desk work while the whole family, including the mother and daughter, cleaned the rooms. The " Continental" breakfast was very sparse. Honestly, there were four slices of stale raisin bread and 2 slices of white bread. To their only credit, they did have a waffle machine. Their weekend breakfast was over at 9:00 in the morning. The room was filthy. The shower was moldly, and the floor had loose boards sticking up, causing me to trip. I would seriously consider looking for any other accommodations to stay at. I give the hotel a 1.1 on a scale from 1-10. 1 being aweful and 10 being great. Sorry, I have run out of time to list everything I thought about this hotel. It is just side to stay here at this Days Inn by Wyndham in Jackson Georgia. I would make sure you find a different result, but I strongly doubt it.

There is no hot breakfast. We never saw a pool. They tried to charge me 20$ for a pillow they claimed I had taken from there room which I didn’t not. We left a day early. The shower makes a loud squealing noise and the ac is loud and turns on and off all through the night.

You get what you pay for. Want a nicer place to stay? Pay a little more. The place was fine but could be nicer with a little effort.

There website says the whole facility is non smoking and after checkin at 9pm after a 12 hour wedding, and the only room available even though we had reserved a non smoking room, because they were all supposed to be, the room was filthy. It smelled so bad we had to wash everything we brought into that room and shower to get the smell out. Smoke, mold, burns IN the bathtub and on the toilet!! And the chair was so dirty you could see the Tabasco stains…and what looked like grease! The cleanest thing on that room was the ashtray!!!!! Never again don’t do it sooo gross!!!

This hotel needs a complete renovation. It has a stale smoke smell and the bed sheets and towels had stains on them. Didn’t even feel clean when I took a shower.

The noise was all through the night! Pillows are small so added pillows we be better the bed just no absolutely not it needs a new mattress. Blankets and sheets were stained and written on.the workers you rarely see and when you do it’s like they’re annoyed. Their was no breakfast

We needed a quick clean place to stay and this fit the bill. It’s in walking distance to food and a gas station with good southern snacks. Breakfast in the morning is very sugary but there’s coffee!!! Great place to sleep for the night.

The location is reasonable walking to gas, food and pharmacy and a bank.

The restroom didn’t have a working fan, the door to the bathroom wouldn’t stay closed unless you held it shut while you used your other hand to wipe your buttocks .

Quiet clean and friendly

Property improved since I was there a few years back. It was clean, comfortable and the staff I came in contact with were pleasant and helpful. This small town needs this property and it is in a convenient location. Please don’t let it get run down.

Property was some what run down, flooring was in bad shape and plumbing was bad. Bedding did not have bed pillows only throw pillows that you would find on couch. Would not recommend.

I wanted to check out early but there wasn't anyone working the counter. So I just left my keys on the counter and left. I wanted a receipt, but no big deal.

The property was definitely NOT Days-Inn quality. When I arrived, I needed to add a traveling partner's name to the reservation in case I was out when he arrived. The "Manager" refused to do so stating "We can't change pre-paid reservations". I wasn't asking to change anything, I just wanted to be sure that he could get a key for the room. Also, I needed to leave something for another guest, at the front desk. The "Manager" once again refused to provide service to give me an envelope to leave at the desk for the other guest. Definitely NOT a Days-Inn quality of service. Never going back.

Only in town for one night, but would recommend this hotel to others!

The staff was excellent. I was not feeling well and the housekeeper helped me load all of our bags, she went way above.

Run down. Only hot or only cold water. No mix. Cheap Vinland floor coming up. Little sound proofing.

Clean and pleasant place to stay for a small city. Staff completely unfamiliar with area, parks, lakes, rivers, public office locations, and were not readily available at the desk-ring bell and wait. Suggest that a simple city map be made available to guests at checkin with points if interest and dining area.

We arrived at 8:15pm with a prepaid stay. The website said pool was open until 9pm but manager insisted it closed at 8pm. There were a large group of very loud cars and people partying in an adjacent parking where the police had to come several times between 10pm and midnight. In the room above me the person stomped around until 4am! Not much sleep!

Well for a 2 Star motel it was fine

This of course was after I finally even made it to the room. After specifying handicapped accessible, and being put on the 2nd floor with no elevator. The first floor was already full, and by the looks and actions of clientele. Plus the cop cars in and out of the parking lot all night, to upon waking and seeing the cop cars sitting at idle in the parking lot. There are only a few reasons why cops sit and burn their time like that, and not because they are lazy as their cars are monitored. They are sitting somewhere to monitor for crime. This place is a dump. When we complained upon checkout, they said that since we paid through hotels.com we would have to take our complaint up with them.

Also bring black socks and wear at all times otherwise the bottom of your feet will be stained for days! Floors were awful!

I had no Wi-Fi, regardless how many times I signed back into it, I was still kicked off. I had planned to work while staying there but wasn’t able to connect long enough to get anything done. That really is my only complaint.

Paid for a non smoking room. Don’t think they exist there. Stale smoke smell was so bad had to buy a candle to mask it. Our cloths and person items smelled like smoke the next morning. Not a pleasant stay. Room next door had the tv on all night.

It was a very nice stay. Room was clean and service was good.

They assumed we had smoked in a non smoking room. If they see the cameras they will notice no one did and still charged me a fee. I believe they find a reason to charge. When I spoke to first person he said it didn’t smell like anyone had smoked but because we threw away packaging the owner, I guess said we did. Which is a lie as my child has asthma and can not be around that.

Everything was good except the towels were not well cleaned (residue of make-up on them) and the floor was dirty.

The staff was nice and the whole process was easy overall. The biggest complaint was that the hardwood floor in the room was pretty dirty/dusty and not sure if it had been swept or cleaned prior to our stay.

We stayed at this motel because it was close to family. We were very disappointed at how dirty it was; the loud music until 4 o'clock in the morning, plus the AC didn't work properly.

They was a smell in the room I had to buy Lysol and the there is a sign on the room wall with a different price then what I paid

All-in-all, a very pleasant stay. Was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room (thank you). They need to work on "contactless" check-in. I pre-paid for the room expect to provide a CC and ID for damages, but why the clerk needs to physically touch my stuff seems to be unnecessary? The parking situation was a bit un-nerving too as the only spaces available were in a very dark, isolated portion of the property. We had to park at an adjacent business who had signs up for their customer's only, so was worried all night about being towed. Being towed was definitely preferable to being robbed or having the car stolen if parked in the dark portion of the lot...

No elevator and my room on 2nd floor. I am a recovery surgery patient was told to avoid stairs if I could. I managed, but it was difficult. Room had no paper or pens, directories to places to eat etc::Water came up around tile in bathroom and toilet seat bolts were almost completely off, so seat moved around on you. I would tell any one I know to stay far,far away from it.

Not sure how clean the jacuzzi tub was but hey, we all know what we sign up for!

I wish the shower head was taller or at least ajustable. Im 6'2" and i jad to lean over just to wash my head. Also i wish the pool had been open some days were very hot. It would have been nice to take a dip in the pool. Had to drive about 45 minutes to find a place to swim.
