Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at this hotel, appreciating its beachfront location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are recurring issues with the elevators, parking fees, and the quality of food and drinks.
- Beachfront location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Frequent elevator malfunctions
- Parking fees

Ease checking in early. Help enrolling in rewards program. Extra towels..

Cleanliness The screen door to the porch keep making loud noise every time you open it you can even hear your neighbors doing it. also, the porch light didn’t work, and the babysitting of the pool towels is crazy to me,How you have to sign in and sign it out.

It's hard to think of anything negative to say about my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. If not for the cost, I would have gladly extended my stay. Parking is somewhat limited on-site, but additional parking is conveniently available across the street at the neighboring hotel.

The view from the balcony was amazing!
- 5/5
Very nice; we had an ocean view room and it was really beautiful. My only objection was that someone kept dogs in their room and the dogs barked often . The only other objection was some guest smoking either tobacco or other products on their balcony and we actually had to close the door a couple times. Tough to blame the hotel for that. But it was annoying. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice.

Paid extra for great ocean view. Side note: I wish architects and designers would actually stay in the hotels they design. Why does almost no hotel have a simple night light in bathrooms. One has only two options getting up late at night--fumble around in the dark missing the target or turn on 6,000 watts of light killing your sleep cycle and blinding your night vision to get back to bed. Immaculate facility. The bar tender was so friendly and made you feel right at home. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. We had king oceanfront room with balcony and the view was fantastic. We ordered their chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious. Their breakfast is very health conscious, turkey sausage, wasn’t bad, free range eggs, I loved the spinach and egg quiche it was fantastic. They also offer Starbucks flavored coffee as well as a large selection of drinks, snacks. Hotel is quiet and we were able to get a restful sleep . Parking was easy . Would recommend .

Beach view was amazing, everything in my room was clean and comfortable. Pool and hot tub were perfect! Amazing to be right on the beach. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Clean and recently renovated Good location Good beach view and access Excellent mattress Cons: No in room safe Could use more floor mat towels for sand control in room Lobby smell due to pumped in scent No suit case rack $18/ night parking Weird drips of ? coming from who knows where landing on everyone in the pool area

Easy access to the beach -

The beach access and view was great. The pool was closed for the day, "will open tomorrow", for the 2 days we stayed. Also, not enough front desk staff, difficult to find especially in the evening

The room was clean and the AC was blowing cold. The staff was helpful and accommodating. I was on the 5th floor and the view was spectacular! The sound of the waves were relaxing.
- 4/5
very clean with wonderful ocean front room and great service. Parking fee charged but no valet and beach /pool towels have to be signed out and are threadbare. There are also no beach chairs/umbrellas provided by hotel- they must be e rented from a concession and cannot be charged to your room. Minor inconveniences but surprising for a beachfront hotel. Overall, a nice stay
- 3/5
Loudest AC I have ever had in a room. They had you sign out and in their crappy little beach towels. One evening the front desk was unmanned at least 10 minutes we gave up and got towels latter, but there was a crowd of people waiting and no one in the dining room even acknowledged what was going on.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Jacksonville Beach! Such wonderful staff. We even scored some yummy cookies! They accommodated our needs from before we arrived all the way through check out. We swam in the pool, hung out in the hot tub and were even able to rent beach bikes right on the property. It was a great experience. This is not our first stay here and we will most definitely be back!!

I think room 250 should be considered a partial view of the ocean.
- 5/5
I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are updated and modern, extremely clean. Just steps to the beach. Close to several restaurants and shopping. Parking on the premises. I was impressed and will go back.
- 5/5
The only thing I could complain about was we were along way from the elevator. My husband who has had a stroke was having a hard time walking from the elevator all the way to the room. But when I booked there is no where on your site for requesting a room close to the elevator.
- 3/5
The hotel was great except they don't tell you EVERYTHING is an extra charge: coffee, breakfast, parking, water, you name it. Nothing is included. Also they put two holds on my card at different times for incidentals which tripled the amount we charged to the room.
- 5/5
Great Mothers Day weekend getaway. Loved the pet-friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be back!

We had a great veiw of the beach from our balcony. Rooms were very nice and clean. We had a good stay.

I booked for beach view didn’t get that room the prices were too high for the rooms to have nothing in them
- 3/5
I traveled with my teenage son and his friend for spring break, and I was a bit frustrated because I had to ask for our room to be cleaned and to get fresh towels when needed. And then even when I asked, it did not happen. I don't know if that is not a daily activity they do on all the rooms, but if that is the case, I wish they would lay out that expectation upon check in.
- 5/5
I visited this property because it was my birthday and it was amazing. The staff was accommodating, our room was and the view from our room was amazing! We had an oceanfront view!!! This trip was amazing and Jacksonville does not owe me anything!!! The breakfast was also delicious!!!
- 4/5
Clean room. Nice bed. Great shower. Sliding door to balcony was very hard to open. Biggest issue was the A/C. If it was running it was chilly in the room. When it cut off, it got warm. Refrigerator could have been a little bigger.
- 4/5
Room was clean! The view was great sitting on the balcony!

- 3/5
The walls are thin and we heard the occupants next door barking dog the whole time. Our balcony's door was missing the seal around the frame which caused a 24/7 annoying loud humming from the outside wind. The beach access gate doesnot unlock and we had to walk all the way around the parking lot to get back in. asking the front desk to fix it didnot make a difference. Their parking is very limited and it took us 15 minutes circling around at night time waiting for an available parking spot.
- 1/5
We asked if we could be moved to a higher floor but was told the hotel was booked up. Upon inspection of the room. It was very tiny with only a small sleeper couch that was equivalent of sitting on a metal park bench. A cheap rolling office desk chair, small microwave and smaller dorm fridge. Both of these were literally sitting on the floor under the desk. The fridge did not cool enough to keep the few items we needed to put in there and we ended up having to throw out spoiled milk and yogurt. The king bed mattress was the equivalent of sleeping on a concrete floor and as much as we tried to endure it, our backs and bodies could not take the abuse, we finally ended up checking out early. Lunch one day from the onsite restaurant consisted of 2 grilled chicken sandwiches, fries and soda and came to $44.00. The sandwiches were like cold rubber. We were able to speak with the customer service manager who apologized and put in for a reimbursement of our last nights rate of $209.10 plus tax and $50 for food but have not gotten any response.

Very nice rooms. The A/C does not have an “always on” option and the temp was hard to keep cool. Expedia claims there’s complimentary beach umbrellas and chairs but this is false. Overall pretty nice stay.

About a mile walk from the main part of town, but we thought that was a plus. Beach was beautiful, with reasonably priced chairs and umbrella rentals available. The room was recently updated and clean. I wish the pool was farther away from the building so it would receive more sun during the ladder part of the day. Jax Beach is a cool little beach town. Pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful ocean-front view. There is a WONDERFUL lady there, Christie, I believe who gave phenomenal service. It was obvious that she enjoys her job and gives personal service to the guests. She appears to genuinely enjoy helping guests and making them feel welcome! You only get room cleaned every other day. However, no one brings you extra coffee or towels.

It was a good location to stay the night before traveling further. The room was clean, staff was friendly and it was right on the beach. However, the walls were thin and you could hear the hallway noise & the noise from outside the window/balcony. The AC worked great while it was on but when it turned off the room immediately got warm & stuffy and we never even opened our balcony door.

every this was great the fact that they don’t tell me it was $200 for my dog to stay. they told me that after i checked in and paid for my room. that was ridiculous to me. so i ended up paying $500 for 1 night

Unaware of major hotel construction. No pool access. Elevator not working in middle of the day. Terrible beach access.
- 3/5
Amenities were actually closed and not usable and that was not listed anywhere at all until we got there. The staff is the only reason I am rating this a 3 star. They were extremely accommodating and understanding to our frustrations over the amenities. Their corporation was the saving grace.
- 3/5
Housekeeping did not come by within our 2 night stay.
- 4/5
Room was great, but the hotel is undergoing renovations. Staff was great
- 2.5/5
Staff were very nice, and our room was clean and comfortable. They were under a renovation, the pool and hot tub were closed, a little loud with the workers inside.
- 5/5
it had construction going on pool and hot tub was off limits
- 0.5/5
No hot water No working tv remote Construction garbage bags covering area
- 2/5
Staying here doesn’t make sense, if you’re on vacation. No pool, no jacuzzi, $18 per night to park, $16 per day, for breakfast. I had no hot water in my room and the very cold shower turned off on me twice. The staff however, was very friendly. They refunded me a nights stay. Maybe once construction is done it will be better but for now, I was highly disappointed.
- 2/5
Place was dusty from work occuring. We had no idea this hotel was under construction, the concierge seemed bothered with working there and weren’t too friendly to the guests. We had no room service for the two nights we were there, had to ask for clean towels. We asked for a late check out, as we were running the marathon. They said yes no problem, but when we got back to hotel after running a marathon, our room keys didn’t work and had to go back to the desk. Very disappointed with the stay. I would think during a busy weekend they would have not scheduled work to be done. They charged $18 for breakfast during all this craziness and you sat and couldn’t talk or relax due to drilling.
- 3/5
This hotelnis currently being renovated so alot of construction. The beds were hard and housekeeping did not come by during our 2 night stay.
- 5/5
very clean room,friendly staff
- 5/5
Great hotel, clean rooms smart tv and all amenities. Thank you will come back again!
- 5/5
Excellent experience. This hotel is my go to place when i come to Jax Beach. The Staff are top notch, and the hotel is being renovated, and i was in one of the new rooms and it was very nice. Highly recommend, i wouldnt stay anywhere else when i come to town.
- 2/5
Loby was very dusty and only one evator was operating.
- 1/5
Was not notified that all amenities were closed with loud construction all day that caused my noise sensitive autistic child fear and pain to the point we were confirmed to the room to avoid walking through loud drilling, no pool, no guest laundry. Plumbing was not working and plumber came 3 times and then had to switch rooms. Worst stay we have ever experience, paying full price for this is beyond distressing. Will be contacting corporate immediately. Avoid this hotel. The only positive was the staff who were friendly and can’t imagine the headaches they experience.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent! Room was clean and I loved the view from our room.
- 5/5
The pool and the jacuzzi and the quick access to the beach, that was a bonus. I had to pay for parking on there grounds that is a rip off. You enough for the room then you turn around to pay 18.00 for a night of parking. RIP OFF!!!
- 0.5/5
Nothing The hotel did not advertise that renovations were taking place, which meant we were unable to use key amenities such as the hot tub, pool, and tiki bar. Upon arrival, workers were actively drilling into the floor, creating an extremely loud environment. The noise was so overwhelming that no one could hear anything, and there was no staff present at the front desk when we arrived. My family and I had to wait outside due to the noise level. When the front desk clerk eventually noticed us, she attempted to check me in but could not hear anything I was saying. I had to use my fingers to provide my phone number because verbal communication was impossible. The drilling also aggravated my PTSD from military deployments, forcing me to remain in my room for a period of time to calm my nerves. Later that evening, we visited the bar downstairs, where a bartender (Mac, Zac or marc) suggested I email you but also mentioned that the hotel prioritized revenue over guest experience. This comment, combined with the overall situation, left us feeling extremely disappointed and dismissed. My wife, son, and I did not have a good stay, and we were unable to cancel on-site due to the non‑refundable policy. Given the circumstances—particularly the lack of disclosure about renovations and the severe disruption caused
- 5/5
Good services and clean room.
- 2/5
I wasn’t told that construction was going on at this hotel. It was a big inconvenience to navigating in and out of the hotel as well as that loud awful banging noise below my room that woke us up each morning…Even with all of that I might probably stay again if the construction was not going on
- 5/5
Excellent experience
- 5/5
Very clean and friendly! Love the new remodel. Views are amazing
- 3/5
It would hav been nice to knwo that the hotel was being remolded and the pool/spa were closed. They had one elevator working and that there was no access to the beach through the hotel you had to walk out and around the parking lot.
- 1/5
Hotel under remodeling - construction which resulted in blocked area, closed amenities, parking problems, and noise. TV did not work properly, and room phone not connected which would have been used in emergency. Water was cut off for several hours which prevented bathing, using toilet, even washing of hands, or making coffee. Slow to no response to problems which could have been addressed. Staff was pleasant even though they were dealing with problems out of their control. If we had been notified at time of reservation, we could have chosen another location. I had appointment at Mayo and chose this location so that we could relax, enjoy sounds of the sea, and rest. It was disappointing to deal with all these problems. We had to make decision to check out and return home.
- 1/5
This hotel was under major renovation and should not be open. Constant drilling, extremely limited use of amenities (no pool, no hot tub, no firepits, no beach access, jackhammers in lobby, no use of bar or restaurant).
- 3/5
The property would have been nice but was under construction, so the beach access, pool, tiki bar, lobby were all closed. I didn’t see where this was mentioned when we booked. They ran loud drills all day starting in the morning. We had to go next door to get to the beach. Our room was nice and the beach was nice. If we would have been there at non-construction time, it would have been much better.
- 2/5
Hotel was under construction and this was not disclosed until check in. No hot tub or pool use due to construction. Water and power outage and minimal hot water. Unable to access front door the last 2 days. Fire alarm went off only in our room. Leaking ceiling in the lobby. Filthy elevator. Repeatedly had to ask for towels and toilet paper and had to ask for our room to be cleaned (only got done twice in 9 days). Had to pay for regular coffee. Very disappointing for the price
- 4/5
Our stay was pleasant overall; however, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that the pool, tiki bar, and hot tub were unavailable. This information was not clearly stated on the website, and knowing ahead of time would have helped us better plan our stay. Clear communication about amenity availability would be helpful for future guests.
- 3/5
Otherwise, the hotel was nice. It was clean, staff were friendly and the room was great (maybe the shower could use a little facelift). The bed was comfortable, water pressure was substantial and we had no other issues besides the before mentioned. Maybe a small disclaimer when booking that states “this hotel is under construction” and list the amenities that are currently unavailable. I’d love to give the marriot properties another try in the future ;maybe I should call head next time to ask about the hot tub.
- 3/5
They were doing renovations. The pool and tiki bar were under construction and several of the floors.
- 3/5
This Marriott is under heavy renovation and the writing is on the wall. I chose this location for its amenities, all of which were closed including the pool and hot tub. Still, our room had the remnants of Marriott luxe from the original build, including furnishings, comfy bed, and fresh white linens. A couple of finer points that housekeeping should know about; the coffee maker’s water tank was littered with spent grounds and who knows what, the TV’s remote control had a mind of its own when it came to volume control and the balcony (clearly labeled no smoking) was untenable due to the smell of cigar smoke from neighboring hotel guests.
- 3.5/5
Great location. near (great) healthy Native Sun grocery; beach steps away; restaurants with short bike ride. Great staff! Normally I’d give this place a much higher rating — I always stay here by Jax Beach — but it’s under a massive renovation to dining area & lobby. If you sleep past 10, you’ll hear drills (not that loud) & you’ll see some construction
- 0.5/5

It was under construction extremely loud Dusty the pool in the hot tub was out of service. The front desk said they would give us 50% off. I still have not received an email confirming that.

Awesome will come again

The hotel was under construction. There was areas closed off only one elevator and not the best looking. People were nice. They could do a better job for food if they are going to do food.

Perfect time thanks again marriot

There were renovations going on and hence it was noisy in the lobby and first floor. The staff were very polite and courteous. Breakfast was excellent.
- 1/5
Dated and lots of construction going on. Overall the place is too expensive for the condition it's in and would recommend it.
- 5/5
Amenities and the view from my room. Would have loved a free breakfast but otherwise, it was a wonderful place to stay.
- 5/5
Room was clean, bed comfortable, great view of the beach! Restaurant on site but no free breakfast.

Work getting done
- 3/5
The room, the view, the staff were great. But the hotel is being remodeled on the top 3 floors of six floors. The noise from contractors removing tile was horrendous. It was so bad i called the front desk and i could not hear her.... you could hear the noise all the way out to the beach. If i had k own the were being renovated i would have booked elsewhere. We did move one hotel away after day two! They should have put on the website they were going through an exstensive remodel. !!!!!! We did get a 50% discount, but that was after we decided to change hotels.
- 4/5
A dried chicken wing was in fridge that was only bad thing
- 1/5
Website did not let anyone know that the property was under construction too much noise throughout the whole hotel
- 5/5
Room was very nice. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful.
- 1/5
Hotel going through renovations, hammering, saws in rooms upstairs and next door. Could not talk to one another without yelling because of the noise. Water was turned off on Friday from 11:30 to 3:30. We booked a room with walk in shower and was told when we checked in that is what we had but it was a room with a tub. We both have mobility problems and so they gave us another room and when we got there it was not a walk in but a tub with a transfer bench from a wheelchair. When we complained, the representative at desk didn’t apologize and said we would have to put up with it every day from 8:30 to 6:30. Very rude and in professional staff. When you book you should be told beforehand. Terrible stay and paying top dollar to be treated so badly.
- 2/5
There was construction going on very loud very early in the morning front desk wasn't pleaent we were locked out of our door bc the electrical devise on door was in poor shape
- 5/5
All great

A lot of construction going on for the rights that they’re charging. Water was shut off for a half a day on Friday. They charge $18 a day for parking but you park yourself in the lot out front.

The location to the beach was great other than that it was an a horrible experience at the hotel How close it was to the beach?

This is a well located hotel with the huge beach with direct access. Also, a coffee bar, restaurant for basic needs, too. Easily accessible to other parts of Jacksonville. Neighborhood was nice, a great walkable natural food store. Staff were very friendly.

Great hotel… clean, reSonable
- 5/5
This hotel was so great! The room (standard room with 2 queen size beds) was well sized and even had a balcony which was an unexpected bonus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Direct access to the beach that was quiet and uncrowded. Both times I went to the pool I was the only one there. There is a natural food market (Native Sun) 0.2 miles away which had premade sandwiches, salads, wraps, sushi, etc and very reasonably priced fruits, vegetables, and any other groceries/snacks needed. Lots of coffee shops and ice cream places within a couple of miles on A1A as well. All walkable! The only downfall to the hotel was paying for parking. $19.35/night after taxes. I missed this when I first booked, but after a long day of travel was just happy to be parked somewhere.

Always.expect excellence at Marriott. This location needs some updating with fresh paint and carpet.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. Our view was beautiful of the beach. The pool area very clean. We had a wonderful time. Plenty of places to walk to for food and entertainment.
- 4/5
I didn’t like that your outdoor pool was algae filled for my stay and was actually had to be closed to quest because it became so GROSS I GUESS !!! I have a inground pool it’s called DAILY MAINTENANCE !!!!

I would for sure stay here again. The room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable

Marriott products are normally our go-to, but this was below average. The hotel was worn out and dirty. The staff at the pool bar were very attentive and nice! Luckily, we were super busy, so spending time at the hotel was not a priority.
- 3/5
I was really disappointed by this Marriott product. The rooms were definitely worn but average, the breakfast was $18 for a traditional free breakfast, and then the upcharge for the parking, which was not available 2 of the 3 nights we were guests. The Fairfield, where the remainder of our party stayed, had free breakfast and no parking charges (This is where I had to park.) The hotel carpets were dirty, and the rooms had a very strong smell. We were fine because we were not in the rooms very often, but I would not recommend this hotel for future stays.

Was amazing. Super clean and the service was excellent
- 5/5
I liked this hotel a lot. Beds were comfortable. Everyone was very attentive.
- 5/5
From checkin to checkout this was an amazing experience for our family of 5. Early access to pool and beach before our room was ready. Employee's were very attentive to our needs offering bags for wet clothes without asking. Xtra pillows and blankets to our room. Pool was amazing and clean as were the rooms. Direct access to the beach. Beautiful balcony oceanfront. Coffee nar let us order a few minutes before they open so we could catch the sunrise also. Parking was easy accessible. Food and ice cream close to hotel. We will be back!!
- 5/5
Room with an amazing view, comfy bed, tasty breakfast buffet, beautiful, clean and tranquil beach! Not far from shopping and restaurants. Very friendly staff! Had an amazing time celebrating my 18th wedding anniversary with my husband!
- 5/5
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to travel to Jacksonville's beaches.
- 5/5
Great stay, staff was friendly and awesome, rooms were clean and well stocked with all essentials
- 4/5
I didn’t realize we would have to pay for parking. That added another 100 dollars to our stay.
- 5/5
Nicely situated and clean upgraded feel
- 5/5
loved it
- 3/5
Not enough parking, people having picnic in back of property blocking parking, room was not serviced

Excellent service

Wonderful stay for family and/or couples. Tiki bar served delicious food and drinks. Housekeeping was top notch and front desk was inviting and Friendly. Definitely plan to stay here again!

I have lived and traveled for 28 years and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This hotel is new but the room has four lights that I tried to cover up so it was dark. The smoke alarm right above the bed has two blinking lights that could not be turned off. I managed to cover up the other lights but did not attempt to cover up the smoke alarm lights. The maintenance guys said nothing can be changed. Instead I slept with my shirt over my face. I think I’ll stay with Hilton.

The lady who checked me in early she was so nice. I forgot to get her name. But she is 👍 awesome!
- 5/5
Great time!

Unexpected fees doubled the price at check in.
- 5/5
The front desk staff, cleaning staff, and all of the other employees were incredibly friendly and made the stay experience very enjoyable! 10/10 recommend! Only downside is no complimentary breakfast but couldn’t ask for a better
- 5/5
The hotel room was clean, the staff was kind, and the location was great…I have no complaints.
- 3/5
Positives are the staff, they are friendly & helpful. This includes front desk, our breakfast waitress, bistro bartenders & maid. Every time we requested our room to be refreshed, they were prompt and thorough. We enjoyed the beach access. This Marriott has prime location to all restaurants and activities. I understand from a staffer the hotel is scheduled for an overhaul in November. We would go back again after the updating.
- 2/5
Need better services also when customers booking online should be knows what is included. When I arrived to the hotel for my check in,the customer service tell me then my parking lot is not included is $18 extra for day. We stayed two nights and nobody came to clean the room.
- 4/5
The property all around was great but the toilet got backedup flushing slow and we had a visitor from a roach in our bathroom...so the hotel needs to be sprayed occasionally due to how great it is.

Always lovely to stay on oceanfront….nice walk down the beach to restaurants….
- 5/5
It was a very nice Atlantic Ocean property that was just what we liked.
- 5/5
We had a balcony with Oceanview!
- 3/5
Location was great, but the rate for this hotel based on its current room is a bit high. Our A/C never cooled our room down very much and the ocean view looks out over the pool. Staff was very nice though. Just too highly priced for what you get.
- 1/5
No coffee cream just the powder parking 18$ a night a drink at the bar 18$ bottle water 6$ breakfast 16$ Food was not good and over priced. Never will go back
- 5/5
Best hotel on the beach.
- 5/5
Clean and everyone was so friendly
- 3/5
I liked the location, and view of the beach. But the hotel room door stuck and was hard to open. The next morning we only had very hot water for shower and sink. Breakfast was not worth $18. Most of the food was cold on the hot food bar.
- 3/5
The location is good, right on the beach, but the property is not well kept. Doors and carpet are dirty. In a three days that we stayed there, elevators were never vacuumed from sand. Standard breakfast that other hotels offer for free cost $18.
- 5/5
Convenient, clean and fun atmosphere!
- 5/5
Beautiful property! Beautiful room! We will definitely be back!!

Perfect ocean view
- 5/5
The staff was so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay nice and enjoyable. The pool was so nice and such a convenient access to the beach.
- 4/5
Wasn't happy with the room. I paid way too much for a dated and damaged room. It was clean but there were a lot of area's cracked or rusted.
- 4/5
My daughters and I had a great time. The only thing I may have a negative comment about would be the cleanliness of the pool, it did not seem to be on/filtering the water so it looked dirty. The staff in every area were so nice. Even the maintenance (?) man noticed we were struggling to get the luggage cart out of the elevator and he stopped what he was doing to help. It’s the small things that make a trip so much better.
- 5/5
Where do i start??? Staff was welcoming, personable, and attentive. I never felt like a guest but welcomed like a family member. Property was clean inside and out. Room clean and spotless. This was my first time at a Marriott Property. And easily comparable to Hilton chain of properties and Hyatt hotels/resorts.
- 5/5
Did not like the bathroom faucet, no hot water and just sprayed a mist. We were allowed to check in early and the staff were great, nice pool and tiki bar
- 5/5
beachfront, pool bar, yummy food by order, very friendly and efficient staff with amazing vibes! definitely will return!
- 3/5
Definitely no t up to Marriott standards. Shower head was loose from wall, pillows lumpy, floor dirty, pool patio cracked everywhere, pool needed attention, water stood on steps to beach after rain, parking limited and cost. Couldn’t air on balcony because air condition vent made it too hot. Not a great experience.
- 5/5
The young lady Sabrina Lamar I think was her last name. She greeted me as soon as I walked in. She had the best smile she was just very helpful and telling me about the app for the courtyard as she was checking me in she said hello to me every day that I seen her and she had a smile every day and also the guest service manager Christa Holt helped me when I checked out. She was very helpful. Those two wonderful ladies would be a good reason. I stay there besides the fact that the room was very clean. Great view from my balcony of the beach. even when I went downstairs to the beach, it was easy to get to. The pool was very nice. And definitely the quietness where you can just sit with the balcony door open and listen to the waves from the ocean Definitely will stay again.
- 3/5
Liked ocean view, handicap bathroom, good ac and good parking, friendly helpful employees. Fridge too small, ac hot exhaust onto balcony limiting seating, a smell like BO or skunk every day in the morning and sometime in evening, room is at end of open porch and having to go through middle door to access it, trash around entrance.
- 5/5
Always a pleasure!

Our room was not cleaned so I asked for more towels. They never delivered them.

Thr staff was super friendly and very accommodating

Amazing
- 4/5
We love Marriott, but this hotel did not meet the standards of a Marriott. We booked a room with a beach view and got a third floor unit overlooking the parking lot. No continental breakfast, some upgrades but still dated, the poolside bar was closed and the pool it self was very dirty. We were disappointed for the price we paid.
- 5/5
Clean, nice people and nice dinning at night!

Imagine traveling all day, suffering through delayed flight after delayed flight only to arrive at your destination late, rush to your hotel to shower and change except there’s no water! As in not only can’t you shower, you can use the bathroom, can’t wash your hands nada! You’re told it will be back on in 15 mins, but hours later still no water. Over night, your toilet runs loud enough to impede your sleep but still won’t flush and the following am, water comes out in spurts. You figure ohh well at least water is back. you’re able to brush your teeth and you think, these things happen, it’s not such a big deal. Wanting to be certain, you ask the front desk and is guaranteed the issue has been resolved! You spend the day at the beach, return to your room to shower and get dressed for a wedding rehearsal except, again there’s no water. This time there’s no time frame for when it will return! You can’t shower, use the toilets, brush your teeth or even wash your hands! You’re forced to clean up with wet wipes! How did the manager and the staff handle this issue, they apologized while rolling their eyes!! Never had such awful service at a hotel of this caliber in my life.
- 4/5
Nice property! Right by the water. Pool was nice. Has a hot tub as well. Bar area. Only reason why I put 4 stars is because the bar closed at 10pm and the pool/hot tub closed at 11pm. Would have been nice to have the bar and pool/hot tub open longer.
- 5/5
Everyone was nice. The roombwas nice and clean. Beach access was awesome. The pool was very nice and clean
- 5/5
The staff (night time front desk) was amazing, very kind, hospitable and attentive. Our bartenders, Ben and Kisan (spelling?) were awesome!! We loved our stay, and will definitely visit again.
