Econo Lodge Jennings

Traveling down I-75 and decided to stay over due to an impending storm. This was a great choice for a couple of reasons....its right off the exit, literally less than a block, it was a good price and it was comfortable and pretty clean. No complaints at all! Office check-in person was very kind and helpful!

The air conditioning was terrible it barely worked and was over 80 degrees in the room. Bugs on the floor when we walked in.

It's an older hotel, but for the price, it couldn't be beat. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the only issue we had was the toilet sometimes had trouble refilling after flushing. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Air conditioning worked. Very run down. I would suggest driving a few more exits before stopping. No dining at the exit either.

We rented two rooms for one night, rooms were clean staff was extremely nice. Only knock I'd give them was our first room AC was not working, but they switched me to a different room so no big deal. Place was pretty quiet after dark. No real issue with the place, especially if you're just sleeping here for a night.

Ok for basic accomadation but a barking dog inside the motel kept us up and desk did not answer our cal at 2,3 and 3:30 am.Dog kept barking.

Friendly staff

The staff were great. The motel itself is in bad need of a renovation, our air conditioner was very loud each time it came on. How this place has an 8.2 very good rating is beyond me. There were stains all over the ceiling from leaks from the second floor I presume. My bed creaked every time I moved sounding like the support boards were cracked I’ll never stay there again.

Very convenient location. 20-30 min away from restaurants , shopping and two springs. We enjoyed our stay. Only I would say need extra pillows in the room. We had 3 pillows for king bed . Would like to have 4-6. It was great for $90 stay for two nights. Can’t beat that!

Cheap, clean, easy

It is clearly not suitable for any one that wants safe place to stay. When I was checking in they told me we could not have minors in our room. My husband and I were just having an over night to our next destination. We only stayed here because of our dogs. But hotels.com made it seem ok. Very shady place

The front office lady was so nice! I liked that she put us in the back so the traffic noise wasn’t heard from our floor.

The bathroom needed to be cleaned though, there was hair on the floor, the bathtub had stains in it, but the rest of the room felt clean. Also, strange but the TV was on when we entered the room. Front desk staff were helpful and kind

The best hotel under 50 a night I’ve stayed at. Everything was clean and I enjoyed my stay!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was definitely value in our stay given the low cost of $44. The bedroom (Room 136) was big with new tile throughout. The bathroom revealed the property's age with the finishing work not up to par e.g. door frame didn't reach the floor, the incomplete finish showed concrete or something, a lot of grout or filler on the other sideeant the door frameet the floor . The toilet roll holder came away from the wall with just a little pressure pulling the TP. The bahroom is very small, partly because space for the sink Sat outside of where the toilet and tub were. If the price was closer to the going rate of $100, I would have been very dissatisfied.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Facility is dated, but clean. Beds are comfy. Showers are equipped with shampoo and conditioner dispensers like those seen in more upscale hotels. Coffee in lobby is excellent.

I called ahead to let them know we would be arriving after midnight. They didn’t even ask my name, but said they had the TV and AC on in my room and it was all ready for me. Upon arriving, neither the TV nor the AC were on. The AC wasn’t working properly and it was hot all night in my room. The room was not very clean and I didn’t feel comfortable using the shower. And there was no chain or deadbolt lock on the door, which made me feel unsafe. Thankfully I was only staying overnight. Would not stay here again.

The place does not feel safe at all. From the moment my children and I arrived, we did not feel secure. This has nothing to do with the fact that it’s a basic motel—I knew what I paid for and expected simple conditions. However, the peephole on the door was completely dislodged, leaving a hole you could see through. That’s when we decided to ask for a different room. We arrived at 10:00 PM and left at 12:57 AM because when we went to the front desk, there was no one there. Issue still hasn’t been adressed by administration. This place is an older, semi-rundown motel. It is in a safe area & I would stay here again, but if you're looking for a "nice" place, this isn't really it. It is a cheap place to stay right off the highway on your way to somewhere else. The staff was excellent & I didn’t worry about my family's safety.

Ck in was fine. Room smelled ac should have been on. The floor felt dirty underfoot so I wore my sandles. Dirt on the floor as soon as we went in by ac and door. Killed a roach in the bathroom. There was a hole in the wall where the trim and wall met. Floors were recently done but stop by bathroom area, from there on was a mis match of different tiles done half assed job

Hotel employee was excellent, very friendly. Room was hot, air conditioning not running upon arrival, room was 84° and not conducive to sleep as was needed.

The parking lot had trash on it and there were in one sighting 9 feral cats sitting in the parking lot. It appeared that in the far corner room someone was feeding them and was a full time resident. Only a few people were in the hotel. Not comfortable and no restaurants close by. Sheets had fuzz balls on them… absolutely worn out!

The first day I got there room was undone then the second room the air conditioner wasn’t working. Put in request for a refund to owner. Went back to hotel got an other room paid for another day waiting for owner to refund our first stay but they didn’t. Second night was great room had air conditioner but put for a day and extra for 9pm -6pm still charged for 2 days and 25 dollars for extra 3 hours.

Refrigerator had no control for Settings. Just on off switch which could not tell if it was on or not. In the morning everything was still warm. Do not think it was working. bed was comfortable and clean. Water pressure in shower not the best. no place to eat would have to drive about 5 miles from hotel.

I love the upgraded rooms! The hardwood floors & granite table tops are awesome. Love the room space & TV cabinet & wall decor too. Staff is friendly & this Lodging place has a desk clerk 24-hours should their guests have a need. Great place for a reasonable price.

The morning we left soiled sheets was discovered at the foot of one bed. Very dusty and dirty from baseboards to furniture. Parking lot full of pot holes.

We were traveling south needing a cheap place to sleep, This hotel fits the bill. Rooms were clean but old (refurbished). A/C worked fine. Coffee in lobby 24 hours but nothing else. Staff were very nice and helpful. No restaurants close by.

Like most hotel rooms, the floor trim was in much need of attention. However, the bed was clean and comfortable.

The hotel seems nice and clean inside. The front desk staff was great! Outside looks a little shady and maybe unsafe. The closest town is so run down and dirty! We had to drive back up the highway to the last town for dinner.

Cost for value was great.

Our main complaint is that the door to our room didn't seem very secure. The room was basic, but clean.

Comfortable beds CRAPPY pillows! Older room but clean. Goood for 1 night stay but dang, please upgrade these flat tiny pillows for future guests.

It was okay for an overnight stay while on the road. No continental breakfast offered. No surrounding restaurant or fast food nearby. They need to keep improvng.

Freshly remodelled, but cleaning could be better. Idk how can cleaning person skip dirt on the wall. Just one wipe would make a difference. Also, sink smells like selvage on a start.

We were only there one night. The only problems we had was the coffee in the office was terrible. Nothing close to this location to get coffee. Food options were non existent. This location is definitely a coffee and food desert.

A no frills place to go for 1 night.

The check-in process was pleasant and the employee accommodated my request to have my room next to my friend's room who was also booking. The door to the restroom in my room did not latch closed. A live roach was found on the chest of drawers at the front of the room. After a thorough inspection, no other critters were found. The bed was clean and comfortable. Shower was reasonable and the water pressure was acceptable.

Check in was fast and easy

When we arrives the staff was very nice. There was no breakfast as they just became Econo lodge after a buyout. Our first room had a furnace that rattled loudly. We asked for a different room and got one without any problems. The second room was equally clean. It was apparent that they were still working on the room. There was unfinished drywall mud in the shower area that was cracking and staining. The door didn’t completely seal. It had a large gap. This was a first floor room and opened to the outside. During the night we had a mouse. It left once it realized the room was occupied. It was cold outside so probably just looking for warmth. For dinner there is no restaurants in the area. We had to drive 5 miles back up the interstate to find several fast food restaurants. No uber eats, delivery as too rural. I’d give this place a little time and it would be fine for a quick stop.

This is a no frills option with comfortable beds and friendly staff. The listing on Hotels.com indicated that it included breakfast, but that was not the case.

It's no longer the Econo, the room smelled musty. Not great sleep with all of the noise from cars/trucks coming and going. Staff was friendly.

I know this is a budget place. It was great for us needing a one night stay while enroute to our destination. In this day and age, though, there should be wifi.

The room overall was OK but, I had to kill two roaches within the first hour of our stay. I tried to call the front desk to inform them of the situation but got no answer by using the room phone or my cell phone. I went to the office and found the young lady that checked us in sitting with a friend several feet from the front desk and asked why she didn't answer the phone and she said that the desk phone did not ring. I also found a broken outlet when I moved a side table to plug in our portable cooler which I told them about at check out. On the plus side, they did change us to a room on the first floor. The room was clean and for the price it was a good deal.

All in all the property was just fine my stay was good. Only Improvement that I can see hotel door to my room was loose had wiggle it to get deadbolt to lock.

Advertised free continental breakfast is one of the reasons I chose to stay there, but no breakfast was available.

Deadbolt on door didn’t work and there was no safety lock that worked, the bathtub had a big gouge taken out of the bottom, the TV had no service at all and even thou the website stated breakfast was included, there was absolutely nothing for breakfast

The front desk gave me a room #210 when I arrived. When I got to the room, it was already occupied with guests. It was rather embarrassing. Is it the policy of the hotel to rent rooms to two different guests at the same time? Otherwise the hotel was fine.

Room smelled of weed and door did not lock with gap at the bottom of door. Daughter had severe asthma and unable to stay.

This is the most awful place I have ever stayed at. Was told they had recently been purchased by new owner. There was no heat and it was 33° in the two mornings I was there. There was one hanger in the room and when I asked for more, I was given one more. No continental breakfast and no nearby restaurant. I can't understand why Expedia would be involved with this property.

Rooms are too expensive

I don't know whose fault it is, the hotel or hotels.com, but the online listing showed that a free breakfast was included at this location. Upon check in, it was clear that not now, or ever, was a breakfast provided at this location. We specifically chose this location because breakfast was offered and we didn't want to have to search out coffee and food in the morning.

Had a hard time finding it. Sign was not easy to see and gps directed us the wrong way. Tv did not work and the manager came to set it up. Parking is very inconvenient. Long walk outside to get to room. Bathroom door is quite an obstacle to using the sink. Room was well done and comfortable.

Room was not the cleanest. There were bugs in the room (some dead). I just needed a place to sleep after a long drive and it did the job. The night shift staff were great. They were having a tough time with some bookings but were VERY curtious and polite.

Good for a quick overnight. Clean. TV wasn’t working properly and hot water wasn’t. Otherwise it was fine.

We got there before 10:00 pm. Door was locked, lights out. We knocked and banged on the doors. No one would answer the phone. Several other families showed up and none of us got the room we paid for. Have to drive to Ocala and paid $230 for a room. I better get my money back or we will sue. Everyone else said the same. Fraudulent

Definitely was not what we were expecting with a very good rating. It is dated, our rooms were dirty, and there were holes in the drywall the TV did not work. I won’t go back.

They closed the freaking office without notifying us, we arrived and could not check-in. No body works there at 10pm. Funny and stupid.

It was clear the room had not been cleaned. There was dirt, hair and food crumbs on the floors. The toilet was full of something disgusting. The fiberglass on the bottom of the bathtub was cracking and peeling up, rendering it unsafe to use.

This place is a joke! We evacuated for Hurricane Milton and booked two rooms for our commute home. The site advertised to call if you’re going to arrive after 10pm. Beginning at 4pm the day of check in, I began calling the motel’s number. I called them 14 times with no answer, and unable to leave a message. I messaged them on their Facebook page; nothing. We arrived at 1am, exhausted from being on the road all day with three kids, to an office that was dark and closed, the phone number on the door the same as the one I called 14 times. Do not advertise to call if you’re checking in after a certain time if you’re not going to answer the phone!!! All other lodging in the area was sold out so we ended up having to get some rest at a nearby 24 hour gas station. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
