Convenient to my travels. Not bad accommodations but wouldn't stay there again. Too expensive for me. Owners / employees were very nice. Toilet kept running after flushed. The room was clean the bed was made the bathroom was decent. A quite nights sleep. Few minor paint spills in the bathtub from touch up painting. Staff was curitious and parking was good. No breakfast was served at the establishment.

The room was so disgusting we did not stay. The towels were stained the pillows were stained the tub was disgusting. They obviously never even checked the room because the fridge was filled with the last occupants food. There was some subtance dripping down the pictue. When we pointed out sustance on floor management rubbed their foot in it and said" see all gone." Do not stay here. They refused to refund us we will never stay at a days inn again.

The room was very dirty. The bed had hair in it, the tub was dirty with hair all through it and the ceiling was coming off. It served the purpose for this trip but won’t be staying here again. I would not recommend. I guess you get what you pay for.

The room was so dirty, towels were all stained, bathtub was gross, curtains didn’t even close all the way shut, we can go use towels to cover the gaps so you couldn’t see inside. Tv remote was missing the cover and was being held by tape, we can go hold the batteries in while trying to change the channel. The receptionist was sarcastic and rude. Wish I would’ve drove the extra 30 minutes to stay in a cleaner room

Check in staff was wonderful and friendly. The location was easy to find and parking was abundant. The bed linens were stained/dirty, the tub was damaged and patched (felt like you were going to fall through), the room wasn't as clean as it could have been and the cleaning person came an hour early and let themselves in the room with their own key card. (I was still in bed) :(

The bed was rock hard. There was paint peeling from the sink and bathtub. The door to the bathroom was messed up and you had to slam it hard to close it.

For the price point room was clean and adequate . This is my 4th stay here . Only complaint is the breakfast is not a breakfast . Don’t count on it . Staff is nice and helpful .

The room had cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The couch had major stains on it. The front of the heater/ac unit in the room was falling off. The toilet tank cover had been replaced with one that didn't fit. There was mold on the wall behind the toilet. The room was extremely dirty.

Not worth the stay for a college kid, not worth the stay for a homeless person. RUN BY FILTHY AND IGNORANT PEOPLE. Hard to understand as they don’t speak English very well....never stay there again!!!

The room was clean. The mattress was good, the shower and the sinks worked. The room was spacious. The staff was very attentive, and the Inn is ideally located near fast food locations and there is even a grocery store.

The rooms were clean and the area is quiet. A very short drive to Pilot Mtn for hiking, which was the reason for our trip. The breakfast menu was limited, the coffee was not very good.

The man at the desk was very nice. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could have been cleaner but I would stay again.

Friendly staff, plenty of parking, room was clean and comfortable bed. Many dining options nearby. Close to highway for easy travel. Plenty of space to walk service dog but would be handy to have a trash dispenser to deposit pet waste as this facility is pet friendly .

Staff friendly. Older and needs updating and especially repainting. Seems to be a safe area, with police presence in the parking lot. Was quiet and we didn’t get woken up the one night we stayed. Outside room access and no elevator so it was difficult for my husband getting to the room.

Rooms are day we dated. The. Fiberglass tub was flimsy. Needs a paint job.

They told me my room was ready i checked in the ceiling was fractured paint chips hanging down in multiple places shower curtain rod was torn off wall barely hanging on by 1 screw the bed cover was covered in brown and yellow stains i mentioned this to the guy behind the desk they moved me my wife and son to another room this room had the same ceilingnissues and the fridge was a solid block of ice it wouldn't shut all the way or open all the way i mentioned this to the guy behind the desk they never removed the broken fridge or offered to switch we get up in the morning their "continental breakfast they offer was only stale bread nothing else it was a disgusting terrible experience will never go back again

Dirty bathtub. Dead bugs on bathroom floor. Towel rod kept falling down, hair dryer did not work. Place reminded me of a Hotel 6.

As clean as it could be under the circumstances. Breakfast area was clean. Pool was closed said due to the season! Well, it’s July! I basically did it for convenience. Not too many good hotels in the area.

The management was horrible and harassed us over my 1 year old child the pool was full of dirt and bees. The way they talk to there customers is not acceptable!!

They claim the pool is closed for the winter season but it was 90 dgrees in late June. I assume they just don't want the expense of maintaining a pool. Do not stay here, They are rude, cheap and a run-down dump. It was verry difficult to understand their accent while trying to get some answers.

Good over all property good place to sleep then enjoy the day many places close by. Check out the local coffee shop wisteria up the street great coffee

Didnt get to spend much time in the room, but was clean and bed was comfortable. Was put in a accessible room for some reason. Over all, short of the lacknof a table due to accessible room, and the leaning shower curtain that didnt stay completely closed, a good room.

Rooms and property are in horrid condition. Spider webs all over the room. Bathtub was gross and stained. Paint was in horrible condition. Toilets caulking was cracked and breaking. Toilet leaked. HVAC unit was disgusting… Nothing nice about this hotel. Staff at front desk was nice.

Great value for price. Pools and hot tub were clean and correct temperatures. They are renovating the hotel. Our room was great but furniture was very, very outdated. Bed was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast and the staff were great. The room was gross, dirty floor, sheets stained, furniture stained and damaged, the fixtures in the room and bathroom were holding on by threads. For the price I expected a little better honestly. It should’ve been way cheaper for what it was.

No non-slip surface in tub or handrails to help get out, loose toilet seat, stained towels. Room itself ok but could’ve used Kleenex, more shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

We felt safe and was not disturbed. When we go back to the parks we will most likely stay there.

Our room was dirty. The tv did not work. 2 towels for 3 people. couldnt get the shower on said just pull the knob really hard so 2 out of the 3 of use couldnt turn it on. The room was very dirty.

When I got in the room it was freezing. I turned the heat on high. It took several hours for it to warm up at all. The fridge didn’t work. The tv didn’t work. The sheets had stains on them. The chair was so stained I wouldn’t sit on it. I would have left if there was another motel available. The good news is, staff was friendly and no bed bugs. My biggest complaint was lack of heat.

I got there at 9:00pm and it was snowing. He had me wait outside and the check in was through a window. I asked if I could stand in the lobby as I had my bag etc and he said no. I waited outside freezing for 10 minutes for him to register me and take my card etc. I should have been able to stand in the lobby. But I guess it’s so unsafe there they don’t let anyone in the lobby!!!! It was sketchy and not a great feeling to park there. I really wasn’t sure if my car was going to be safe or broken into there overnight. Would not stay again.

The rooms are old school brick skid row apartments converted to a cheap motel. Interior doors between rooms have the handles busted off. The walls are paper thin. My next door neighbor's conversations were crystal clear with the TV on. TV also sucked, no guide button, just a basic remote. You could only scroll through the channels. Huge armoire dresser thing with built in TV stand and refrigerator took up half of the room. Staff were mildly annoyed at best. They questioned my service animal and tried to charge a $20 fee on top of that. I'd skip this place, it's no value at $96 with tax. I should have stayed in Winston Salem.

Hotel and rooms were clean and the price was good. Bed was comfortable. Worked for us on our travels. Breakfast was alittle scant.

The bed in the king size room was super comfy! The room was super clean, as was the bathroom. The front desk staff was so helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay. The free breakfast is pretty generic, but thwy did jave waffles which was nice! Would definitely stay again.

Chose this motel because it was close to the highway! It was a typical Days Inn…we waited for a clerk to checkin and never saw anyone again. The breakfast was less than a continental although there was a waffle maker, but no bagels or cream cheese or yogurt or choice of jam for a toast. It was just not a place I’d choose again!

many issues to mention but a few are the floor in bathroom in my room was apparently bad and the shower feels and sounds like you might end up in the room below you, toilet is bolted to wall and floor because of this I guess but off of its seal, cigarettes burns in tub and bed, carved names on nightstand, dirty soap dish on counter, stained towels, etc. Front desk staff was pleasant enough.

The check in at midnight through the window was unexpected and took awhile in the cold. You get what you pay for here.

From Ohio going to Mrtle Beach - couldn't find anything reasonable & available in Winston-Salem area so came on down to King. Motel is ok (for one night). Bed reasonably comfortable. Side chair uncomfortable, worn & a little dirty looking. Had 1 bug crawl across top of furniture. Haven't tried breakfast yet so can't comment.

Close to Winston Salem withour being downtown. Room nice, bed comfortable. Tub was stained and made it look dirty. Wosh it looked better.

There was nothing I didn't like. The check-in was fast and easy. The employees were there for us, if needed. However, our room was supplied with everything as described in ad. The breakfast was sufficent. The location was perfect for easy access to Mt. Airy, Pilot Mountain, and a historic working farm.Convenient to eateries and shopping.We have stayed here before and will stay again when we are in the area.

Was clean and quiet so I was happy

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice rooms. The Continental breakfast was very limited with just toast, cereal, juice and waffles but it's free so it's worth it.

The sheets were nasty, looked like blood stains on them. The tub was so dirty i didnt even shower the night i stayed. Would not recommend.

My mate & I took a quiet walk around the outside of our floor to check if we could observe the 'Strawberry Moon' event that weekend. We gently walked around not making any noise. Returned to our room and within seconds the staff knocked on our door to tell us we could not be outside after 10 pm., because it was "time to be inside at this hour, it was quiet time for guest". Not to mention there was hardly any other guest staying at this location. I am 66 years old and have traveled most of my adult life. Have NEVER, EVER been told I could not take a QUIET STROLL Outside of my room at ANY HOTEL /MOTEL in my entire life. Needless to say: I will never stay there again for that reason.

It was comfortable and convenient for my purpose. It is older and needs some updating but for a quick stay it was perfect. Bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, plenty of towels. Check in was easy and I was met with politeness and service.

This is a very old motel that really needs updating. The staff at check in were very nice. However, that is where the compliments end. The bathroom had seen a better decade or two. The toilet seat and lid at the least could have easily been updated but wasn’t. The tub had obviously been painted because it was chipping off. I’m not sure what was stuck to the floors but it looked like ashes from a cigarette but was stuck the the floor. I can say I m glad the floors were LVP because at least you could see if there were any immediate concerns. The bed frame was some sort of metal which gave the room an even cheaper quality. The cover on the bed was a top sheet with stains. To say the least a $100 a night room is not what it use to be but I guess you get what you pay for. The reviews are a 5-6 but I would not rate that. The “free” breakfast was a waffle maker and cold cereal. We don’t usually stop on our way to the beach but had a late start this time. Next year we will pony up more money or drive all night or sleep in the car. I didn’t complain to the front desk because they already had my money and must be completely satisfied with having these rooms the way they are.

alright, furniture was old, the chair had a lot of trash and dust on it. wall were repair but not renew, noisey heater, breakfast, I had to request more waffle mix, and spryp. Slept good, bathroom sometime in the bathtub, manuel plug, too small towels

I needed a room last minute. This place was reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, the parking was perfect, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I could not have asked for more.

Cigarette ashes all over entire room, though was a smoking room, could tell had veen half cleaned. Both the towels & washcloths were SEVERLY old & STAINED! Upon tryin to use the shower, main handle just turned all the way around & wood was rotting around. When I called the front desk, male owner tells me to "pull knob outward motion & will have as much hot water as I want"! Yes that worked, but needless to say, i didnt even stay. Finished 1/2 shower & checked out immediately! HUGE INCONVENIENCE!!!! Deplorable & just plain cheap & lazy!

Stayed at this hotel just three months ago in December 2023 and cleanliness was much better than this stay. Disappointing as this location is convenient and feels secure when traveling. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Reasonable rate for safe and quiet rooms.

Overpriced but the only motel on in King, NC I could find. Lady at check in nice. She gave me the best room she had. Educated me that I would need to hold the toilet handle down to flush as she handed room key. (Guessing past guest reported issues.) Parking was great right outside my room. Outside of motel older but clean. People hanging outside rooms upstairs listening to music. A little loud but once in room with tv on I didn't notice. Room appeared freshly painted. Paint splatter on floor and on extremely old furniture. Smoking room small but appeared clean. No odors, No trash cans, (weird) TV and remote worked, Bathroom good size appeared clean. Bed sheet had yellowing/darkened stains but appeared washed. Bed was very comfortable. (personal mattress protector between me and motel sheet) Water pressure was fine. Second shower in am had zero hot water. Floor in room filthy for towels used as barrier between my feet and floor was disgusting. Fridge and microwave clean. Air/heat worked. I saw no bugs. Just to sleep, it served its purpose.

Manager was rude and did not have reservation despite confirmation. Grounds and hotel were disgusting and in desperate need of upgrading and repair. Thin walls and noisy.

The room was filthy. The staff was very rude and they make you wait outside to check in in the heat with tons of bugs in an unsafe area (didn't know that before booking). The "breakfast" is a joke basically generic little debbies. The rooms smell terrible. The remote and TV hardly worked in our room.
