I appreciate it how close we were to stores and gas stations, but the location of the actual hotel was in between another hotel and it was so confusing. I think it needs better mapping to find the building we were in. Did not like how odd the placements were for their buildings we were in between another complete different hotel behind them and it’s pretty weird also poor lighting can’t find stuff that was pretty much it

Place looked really nice online that’s why we booked it, but it’s really outdated and has a fire station ( our balcony was facing it) and a helicopter airport or something right next to it. Several pools were closed and operating ones were not very clean.

A lot of amenities were closed down like the zip line the Mount rock, climbing crab pool!

We stayed during our weekend vacation, and it was perfect. The kids played basketball and used two of their pools. The location is very convenient. We found plenty of family-friendly restaurants nearby. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities to make meals. Plenty of towels for the pool.

The only thing good was the front desk lady was very friendly and the location. The rooms were not what was on the website, they were not cleaned the curtains didn't even match in the living room. The sliding doors were hard as hell to open. we had to wear socks around the place because the floors were just disgusting the wall need to be painted or wiped down they were gross. The pictures online were showing this nice clean beautiful place and it was just gross. The elevator smelled so bad.

There's no elevator conveniently placed to bring up luggage. Very hard to manage when you're staying on the top floor

I like the convince in the location and the pools amd staff I didnt like the carpet in the entire rooms, rooms are not updated and stayimg in the first floor you will hear everything on top of you, we unfortunately had some busy guess upstairs the office didnt speak with them but they still keep on so it wasnt a good night sleep but the rooms are clean and bed was comfy

The room smelled of smoke. However, they sent housekeeping to take care of it once I made them aware. The bedroom carpet was also sticky, but that was also addressed by housekeeping

The pool and bar were excellent. The one bathroom fixture to turn off and on water didn’t work. We reported it but it was never fixed while we were there. The elevator also needed some attention. Very scary. Don’t know if we’d come back to this one again.

A lot of activities and places to go on the ground The unit needs to be upgraded and has a musty smell. It hasn’t been updated in over 20 years. I am an timeshare owner at the facility and I’m very disappointed.

We were guided to sales desk for time share tour of another resort. The experience at the time share was very disappointing. It was nothing like we were lead to believe by the first salesperson that it would be. We have experienced a few time share presentations and this one was unbelievably high pressure. The gift promised was not as described and even with the gift the pressure continued. We were approached by 5 different sales people who would not listen to our reasons for not needing what they were selling. Very unprofessional. Will not stay here again and discourage anyone from being misguided by their salesteam.

What I did not like is the fact that I paid $150 deposit and it’s been over a month and I’ve still yet to receive my money other than that the stay was good. The staff was great great location. Not getting my deposit back over a month

Cons: Don’t get a room near stairwell as you hear everything or a room where you have someone above as you hear every footstep, room cleanliness was average, some amenities (pool and adventure park) were closed for renovation or unexpectedly. Parking needs to be more clearly identified on where you can and can’t park.

The stay was amazing. The check-in process was seamless and informative about amenities and property details. We started in a 3 bedroom room. There was so much room for our family with large bathrooms, closets, and living room area. The property is located within minutes of several restaurants, Disney, Old Town, and Works of Food Trucks. The property was quiet at night ABs offered activity amenities such as basketball, volleyball, pickle ball, and miniature golf. In booking again for the summer and Christmas. It is a true gem in Kissimmee.

It was very hard to find the actual hotel room, elevator was broken and had to carry everything up the stairs, ended up leaving at 4am and going home. Very loud, the metal springs on the bed were poking through. We checked in late do to getting into town late, only stayed for 6 hours and checked out and went home because we could not sleep do to it being so loud and uncomfortable. Very dissapointed.

There was cockroaches in the unit one doing back swims on the floor by the toilet kept spinning in circles I got it on video and I was one on me when I woke up this morning it's just nasty and yeah again I'm choosing to stay at your hotel again tonight I think it should be free of charge and a refund for the night I stayed

Jacuzzi tub in master bath was great! pool amenities worked well for the kids. Was a bummer the bigger water slide was down for maintenance but still had enough to offer.

It was average! It worked well for us because we spent our time at the parks and not the property. The property was very confusing to navigate and there were no ice machines readily available.

The amenities were so many that our boys wanted to get back to play putt putt, pickleball and the pools. We had a couple of issues. The refrigerator ice maker was slow but they brought us a bag of ice. The dishwasher sprewed water out on Day 3 but they came right away. One of the many pools were closed. Not updated, but I don't care about that sort of thing. We were well pleased with the staff and how they took care of us. Problems happen. That's life. It's how the staff responded to the few issues. We would definitely stay with them again. Oh , I forgot to mention they have movie nights by the pool. Great place to vacation with 4 generations. We had a 3 bedroom condo. It worked for 8 of us. We thank God for allowing us to find this place. And an amazing God story. My husband and I are going to Costa Rica this summer and I prayed and asked God to lead me to a Missionary there. Well we met a missionary in the lobby at their check in who is a missionary in Costa Rica. God is real. Anyway, Great location!

We love Calypso Cay and the facilities! The rooms are a little outdated and could use a revamp, paint and some minor repairs but they were clean and stocked. We were barely in the room so it was just fine for what we needed. The main pool was great but packed with families and many children having a great time. One pool was down so not much adult time in the pool. The tiki bar staff is amazing and we spent most of our time there! We will definitely be calling this location home away from home when we need a little get away!

There was basically no sound proofing. We could hear everything around us making it extremely hard to sleep. Whereas nothing was dirty, it seemed worn down. For the cost, it was fine. But it isn’t a place we’d hurry to stay at again.

I checked in this hotel 4/30 as upon arrival to my room the slide patio door was jammed, phone not working,sink not draining properly and the jacuzzi had debree in the water. Front desk moved me and my child to a second room where there were at least 5-8 insects crawling around. Then we were moved to a final third room ceiling fan not working, room phone not working and shower door not closing causing water to flood outside of it. Air conditioning unit not blowing out air fully. Also another family knocked on our door and stayed that they were given the same room we were in already. This had been the worst vacation for me and my son and an inconvenience that we had to stay in this environment and also wait for maintenance to come to try to fix issues hindering us from enjoying our stay. There was no accommodation on the resort even giving us any kind of compensation for the impact this has caused us. Just a bunch of room switching.

The 3-bedroom villa we stood in was very dusty and made all of us uncomfortable. We took extra allergy meds but we got stuffy noses and couldn’t breathe. Lots of baseboards and countertops needed dusted/wiped!

Had an overall good experience…we stayed in the two bedroom, had everything we needed and was clean. The resort area was pleasant, nice families and no concerns with the staff. The only thing preventing me from giving an excellent rating is the furniture was worn and could use updates. Aside from the aesthetics, we had a good stay and will return in the future.

It was a great time for everyone in my party. Everyone had something they liked. I loved the hot tub and the grill area in the center of the buildings. I met a few people who also really enjoyed their stay. I can't wait to return!

At first glance it was outdated and a little dingy but we were good with it for the price. HOW EVER, flipped on the light above the table and the floor was crawling with roaches

The villa smelled absolutely disgusting. There was a bug in the center of the bed when we pulled the covers back. Food not vacuumed up on the floors, absolutely gross kitchen. Poorly lit at night .

The check-in process was really easy, there are elevators to take you to 2nd or 3rd floor, plenty of free parking. The unit was not upgraded, it is old fashion but that didn’t matter to us, because everything was perfectly clean, rooms, beds, showers and kitchen. No complaints at all, very pleasant stay.

The 2 bdrm was large and had lots of space and it’s close to the theme park The property is outdated. The beds are really really hard and uncomfortable, and the TVs are outdated too.

The tub in the shower did not work properly, the jets would not turn on, and the drain did not drain properly either. There were roaches in the room and the television in the bedroom did not work.

Pool options were great and it was a very calm Atmosphere. They had a business there promoting other properties for vacations and wasn’t thrilled about getting several phone calls from them after rejecting the offer. I did have plumbing issues in the master bathroom and they responded quickly to come fix it but just kept happening. But overall it was a good experience and would do it again. I got a 3 bd unit and it was very spacious and the 2 full bathrooms were very convenient for a family of 4 traveling.

Amenities was great! The only downfall is being on the 1st floor you can hear absolutely every single thing. If you have little ones who are light sleepers or you’re a light sleeper yourself you might want to ask for a room on the top floor. Aside from that every other thing was perfect

When we walked in the door we were smacked in the face with a strong musky smell very overwhelming,went to open a window not possible. Opened slider door it seemed to help only there for 2 nights. Coffee pot was clean but where you put the coffee filter was never cleaned. One of the bathrooms was cleaned ver poorly tub drained very slow wall had dirty marks in quiet a few spot along with they dont clean the bathroom door or behind it .as for the 3 bedrooms well the one with the twin beds looked fine however the king bedroom the sheets had stains on the or where never cjanged as for the third bedroom i going to say the bed was never changed either due to me finding dirty tissues in between the sheets since i was the only adult in this bed i know it was not from me. Disgusting the kitchen sink leaks there are stains all over the carpets . The curtains were in need of replacement they had stains or are visually dirty wasnt going to inspect that closely. Just disappointed in the stay considering its a villa that wasnt all that cheap

Great hotel! The location, price, and property were excellent! Loved our room which was clean, furniture was nice, super comfy bed with so many pillows, and an elevator on site was the cherry on top. We were missing garbage bags and the front desk & housekeeping helped us with that asap. The only thing about the villa that was disappointing was the super small tv in the bedroom and lack of good channels. I would definitely suggest upgrading these things. Would’ve given a 10 but the tv situation was a bit disappointing especially for the kids. Didn’t get to enjoy the amenities throughout the property but everything looked great. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely return and recommend.

Went to pool bar once, it was nice, bartender was friendly. Pool was clean-hard to find a seat at times. Kitchen was a great addition, allowed us to cook in the room verses going to a restaurant or picking up restaurant food. Did lose internet for iced 1/2 day, was hard because this was a working trip. No notification from the staff about internet. Phones and tv were all down during this time.

Great place to stay with the family. The swimming pools were hit and we spend full days at the pool. Location was great. There’s a Walmart close by which is very helpful. Overall great stay. I’d stay again here.

We enjoy this resort, nice pool areas. Some of the rooms are outdated but it’s clean and friendly.

The room was very spacious, although it smelt like a freaking wet dog and mildew.The air conditioner would not keep the room cool it was so hot in there. The ceiling fans were on high couldn't even fill the air on them. The tub in the master bathroom was cracked in the bottom and very unstable hard to take a shower in there. The kitchen was okay utensils and pots and pans to cook with although I think they should have had plastic cups and plates for children. We used a whole bottle of febreze to try to make the room smell better. We did not appreciate the fact that they were trying to sell us a timeshare when we checked in we could not get our parking pass unless they spoke to us about a timeshare and then the next day they called that they were having another time share if we would like to attend offering US money and gifts. I believe if we said no the first time the answer would not change. We had horrible upstairs neighbors called the front desk at 10:00 at night and they continued up until midnight so they never went and said anything or called them that's very poor customer service.

The mattresses were a little old and could use some updating. I would also recommend more pool chairs, as well as opening the indoor basketball court that is advertised online. We would definitely stay there again! Very impressed with the facilities and the rooms.

Kitchen had everything needed for a family of 4 in the one bedroom villa. Bed was a little sunken and pillows were not comfortable to me. I didnt like the bathtub jacuzzi, feels gross to even shower in. Property had 5 pools and some hot tubs (shared with 2 or 3 other hotels which wasn’t an issue since we didn’t go during spring break). Good for everyone - little ones to adults. We went during spring and the pools were cold. I asked the front desk if any of the pools were heated or temperature controlled and they said all of them were. I have to 100% disagree with that. Hot tubs were hot at least. Our bedroom window didn’t fully close from the sides. It was like the window didn’t fit the framing. So it got hot in the bedroom during the day. Breakfast not included but they have some simple options on the property for snacks or lunch. Also didn’t waste our time with the timeshare presentation based on reviews I previously read so I suggest skipping it as well. It was an ok stay overall.

First of all the room that was advertised was not the room that we received the room that we received was raggedy and all the furniture was old. It smelt like smoke. The sheets were stained. There was mold in the shower and in the Jacuzzi hot tub. The only thing that was decent was the pool areas. It’s a shame that you Hotels.com and this corporation has to scam poor people to take their last when they just want to have a vacation with their family and enjoy a little luxury.

I had to speak to a timeshare representative before getting my parking pass after checking in with the front desk staff, but simply declined the complimentary breakfast invite and was on my way. I was upgraded to a 2 bedroom that had full kitchen, washer and dryer, and jacuzzi tub. It was a nice place! I Would stay here again!

Sugar ants and another kind of bug in bathroom & kitchen area. Wifi didn’t work, bath tub/ bathroom wasn’t clean. Lots of dust in room, and also children had severe allergies after being in room short time.

The biggest complaint was the mini gold and equipment rentals across the road. Our kids wanted to play mini golf but they required an adult to leave their ID with the rental place to get equipment. We were staying at the resort and were wearing the brackets. I refused to leave my ID with a stranger so we couldn’t use the mini gold and activity area. They need to have a better process.

Great price for the location and amenities. Bar at pool was nice for drinks and great food. A few maintenance issues, but they were addressed within an hour. Would recommend asking for room not facing the expressway loud in evenings. People smoking and vaping on balconies shouldn't be allowed as it enters the rooms above. Smoking at pools isn't allowed, but not monitored so several were smoking by the pool.

Stayed in a three bedroom villa. Well equipped accommodation down to the last detail. Thoughtful layout. Description says accommodates up to 8 people, but the villa could easily accommodate 10 people. Would gladly stay again.

Very nice place to stay for a family vacation

As a previous guest, I expected fair to moderate stay/service. I should have went with the reviews. My stay was met with disruption morning and night of individuals above. I have children, this was unacceptable. Daily contact with staff; a request for a new room I was met with no recourse. On the last day all they were willing to do was give an hour more for checkout. I requested at minimum a night refund, have communicated several times with manager Claudia-still no additional followup. The room was not cleaned completely! Parking for handicap was used by other vehicles not displaying valid permit. Property security or front desk did nothing. At this point this entire stay deserves a full refund! I have been patient but the lack of care for the customers/owners is truly unacceptable. Please don’t come on here property management with the same comment of “we are sorry” do something about it! Make it right.

The staff were also friendly and helpful whenever we interacted with them. The room itself was reasonably clean, but it felt a bit outdated compared to the listing photos. Nothing was terrible, but it just didn’t match the expectations set when booking. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re mainly planning to use the pool and spend most of your time out exploring Orlando. Just be aware that the rooms may not look like the photos advertised.

The stay was very pleasant! My kids had a very uncomfortable mattress on the pull out sofa, which was a little better after I requested they change it but not much. Wouldn't recommend an adult sleep on it. Other than that it was great- all appliances worked and they have fun activities like crafts and movies by the pool! The food at both cafes was so good, and very reasonably priced. We were disappointed that the zip lines were closed but that's not a big deal. Overall great and would definitely stay there again!

This was more like a cheap motel. Awful smell, moldy tub, malfunctioning lights, oversized nasty furniture that blocked the doors from opening to the closet and bathroom, people smoking weed in the parking lot, springy bed, not at all as pictured. The kids play area (main reason we booked) closed until further notice. Wifi didnt work. Asked to switch rooms, told no. Said they would send maintenance, never did. Expedia was no help either. Very dissatisfied.

We had a wonderful experience at Calypso Cay! We experienced a few record cold nights in the 20s and 30s and the tiki bar and hot tubs were still open for us northerners. The room was cozy and exceptionally well equipped With pots, pans, and even a pizza pan. They provided ample paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dish soap, and bath and pool towels. There was no housekeeping, but we were fine with that and the office provided any needed supplies. We had to ask maintenance once to look at our jetted tub, which they did right away and we had fully functional tub the whole week. We will be returning, thank

The villa was very clean and spacious. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The amenties were good and i enjoyed the complementary popcorn in the afternoon around check in time. The location was great, very convenient, near pharmacy, gas stations and shopping. I felt very safe staying there and I definitely enjoyed my stay. My only issue was the villa was somewhat outdated , but it still had all of the necessities.

We specifically asked for a balcony room and didn’t get one. When we spoke to front desk they gave us a new room with a porch and still no balcony. On top of that the room looked nothing as pictured when we were reserving, they lied and tried to tell us all the rooms were booked but we saw a bunch of empty rooms with balconies that no one was staying in. Definitely will not book with them ever again one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

Our first night there the temp outside was in the lower 30s and the heat in the room was barely working. The thermostat read reading 60 and we had the heat turned up to 78 trying to make it warm. Maintenance can and by the time they came the heat went up to 62 and they said well it’s going up just slowly and left. By midnight the temp had only got up to 64. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like an icicle. Also the shower in the primary bedroom had a bunch of hair left in it and the walls looked as if they had a bunch of patches in them. There was also a hole in the floor in the primary bedroom. The furniture and everything throughout the room was outdated and needs to be upgraded. I will say the amenities were nice. We enjoyed playing mini golf. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again unless they update the property.

The staff was lovely the room was quiet and peaceful a perfect stay after a day at the parks but my only criticism is the floor was a bit dirty. If you have crawling age children it was not suitable for children to relax and decompress playing on the floor after a park day. Cleanliness needs to be more of a priority for the floors.

Resort was very old needs lots or repairs. Every time we tried we were on hold for at least 20 mins. Leaking dishwasher could never reach concierge as promised when checking in. Room had old musty smell.but was clean location was great.very high pressure to buy into vacation club guy seemed offened when we told him we dont make decisions without seriously thinking about them.if this resort is any indicatio of this vacation club standards very glad we did not purchase

The accommodations were clean and well stocked inside the villa. I had everything I needed to prepare meals. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The grounds were well kept pool was nice for families. The only downfall was parking was tight, if you arrived after dark it could be challenging to find a spot and the lighting was not the best. Also the building exterior was a bit run down, with broken gutters, along with holes and gaps on the exterior walls. I did enjoy my stay at this resort.

Had a reservation here, however, my son was hospitalized with RSV before the trip and they didn't give a refund, partial refund, nor rescheduled. This is simply greed. You should consider uncontrollable circumstances especially hospitalization. I will never book here again.

Room smells great not moldy like some out there. Nice area, lots of amenities; happy hour and full service for food. Shuttles for some of the parks but not all. Overall we would stay here again. 3 bedroom villa with balcony was very spacious and friendly staff, coffee maker did not work.

I traveled here with 6 teens for a birthday getaway and it was a great place! We live somewhat local so we brought snacks to cook for new years and the kitchen was plenty stocked with pans, dishes, etc. The 2 bedroom villa was nice and clean, the pool was well heated as it was 31 outside and the kids swam, staff we encountered was super friendly . I will definitely be booking here again!!!

Timeshare representative from Silver Lake called me and was able to provide details as to exactly what my home address was and my room/villa number. After scheduling timeshare tour, I was unable to make it due to unforseen family situation and was going to reschedule it, but the representative was rude. For this reason, i will not be returning to Calypso Cay.

I love Calypso Cay. The only issue is the furniture is outdated and the bed is probably the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. Outside of that, I love this place.

Improvements needed: these really need updating - at least with the carpet which is pretty emergent. While the unit was clean, the carpet was extremely aged and dirty. The oven had some burner issues, the one spatula was broken, and one toilet double flushed while the other clogged no matter what. The TVs were very old but not a huge deal - just recommend smart TVs! They’re cheap. At the end of the day though - this place overall hit the mark and we will likely consider calypso cay for future vacations.

Booked the 3 bedroom suite… To begin with all the parking was directly in front of ALL the rooms so every cars lock/unlock beep is now your problem. The room above us was INSANELY LOUD two nights. I legit thought they had housekeeping cleaning it - sounded like moving furniture and suitcases rolling across the floor from 11p-8a BOTH NIGHTS; and every door squeaks which you hear from everybody in your room and above/below… I called the front desk TWICE the first night and they said they’d send security but nothing changed. We went to the office the next day and asked to be changed. The desk lady was rude and condescending and said they had no available rooms and that there was no complaints from the night before on record (screenshot provided). Besides that room was surface clean - meaning floors were vacuumed and tables wiped “good enough”. There was black hair all over bathroom floor and we are all blondes. There was what appeared to be dried blood stains in front of the toilet. Rusty dirt floor boards all over and bathroom tile moldy and tub drained slow. Provided only one pack of coffee, no filters, one tiny shampoo for 6 people. If you want housekeeping it was $80. Wouldn’t dream of staying there again.

The condo was nothing like the pictured one. Very old. Grandsons feet were very dirty when he walked on the carpet. The furniture, not one piece was without scratches, marks,… on top of being old. The internet completely went out for awhile, but even most of the visit kept dropping us. At that point, even the phone to the front desk didn’t work. The master bedroom bed had a huge dip in it. The garbage cans in the hallways looked so “unprofessional.” The elevator wasn’t working when we left .

This is the 4 or 5 time we have stayed here for a vacation, it just appears that the buildings are getting more and more in disrepair

The place was beautiful. I had to have room switch due to it wasn’t very clean, but then they gave me a room that was very nice. The girl in the front was good when we checked in, but she seemed bothered when we told her about the room not being so clean.

The stay would have been perfect. The only thing that I would ha e to say about the trip was that the communication from one department to another could have been a little better. We had a long drive and did not want to leave the premises. We walked over to get a bite to eat and and we were told that the grill did not have any food. Also the television service was out. We could not watch tv. Other than that, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I love the fact that they had movies by the pool and the popcorn was a plus. The pumpkin contest was nice. I picked #5...my sister picked pumpkin #1. They all were nice tho. I will come back another time to really get a chance to enjoy all of the amenities. I recommend because it is very family friendly.

Did get the usual "welcome gift" spiel but as we were out everyday early never bothered to check in. Stillnwould definitely reccomend as a place for self catering

Hotel is nice, just very old. Was probably beautiful in 1988. Hallways at old and scarey, rooms are old, beds are old and uncomfortable, all tvs in room are different and only 2 of the 3 tvs work. This property is not worth price at all. Needs absolutely everything. Also, the front reception staff is absolutely horrible! Start your renovation by firing reception! No matter how many times you call, no one answers? Always say they are busy? I walked down once to see how busy they were? They were on thier phones texting and laughing. Also very ackward layout to rooms and not very family friendly. Stay away! Almost forgot? They did have someone always available to talk to you about buying a timeshare from this dump! Maybe do a complete reno and maybe someone might buy here?

We found Calypso Cay by accident. We were amazed at how affordable it was - it cost less than most of the mid-range hotels in the area. It might be an older building, but clean comfortable and well kept. For less than the price of a hotel we got a beautiful mini-resort! It was an unexpected joy to stay there

Kind of felt like we were given the worst room at check in. I asked for one with a balcony as specified in my reservation- told the girl at check in I didn’t want the unit on the first floor and guess what I got? Lol. There was construction going on so it was that along with the noise from upstairs and the elevator. Couldn’t really sleep. I never care for this but man it was pretty crappy. Cleanliness was 100% though it was honestly the service :/

Pools and amenities are amazing. The unit floor plan is great & had everything we needed but is in dire need of updates & cleaning. There were food spills on the furniture, sticky residue/stains on the carpet, and the tile floors were very dirty.

The room was never finished being cleaned when we got there. There was still a pile of dirt next to a broom and the tubs were not clean. Was advised i would have to contact Expedia since I booked through a third party and was never even offered another unit even though the condition of the Villa had nothing to do with Expedia. Family’s trip to Orlando. Went to theme parks. Had a great trip.

Upon arrival the AC was not working. Called the front desk to request mainatenance. No one came until the next day after 12pm. Batteries needed to be replaced. Later that evening the AC stopped working again. Called the front desk to request maintenance again. Requested someonr come asap so we didn't go another night without AC. They came within the hour. Have to vaccum the unit. All good after that.

The king bed needs updating.. the mattress was sunk in the middle section.. so you would end up rolling down into the middle & the bed frame was so squeaky that if you even moved a finger it was VERY loud. Wine opener was defective so we had to run to Walmart to buy one. The dishes still had a lot of food stuck to it so we hand washed everything we used extra good. If you don’t want to hear other people above you because the floors/ceilings were very squeaky that you heard everything.. ask for the 3rd floor. You do have to cross a road to get over to the pools. No where to get any ice on property. No late check out offered even if willing to pay extra. We did enjoy our time together as a family but not at all what was expected. Did not take any pictures because the room wasn’t even impressive to.

No food options, no one ever answers the front desk phone. Most staff were rude, and unprofessional with exception of district manager. Whom, finally got someone to fixed our tv wifi, by actually changing our two old tv's and replacing them with 2 Smart tv's with wifi, two days before we left our seven days stayed (booked) in there. No jacuzzi and shower in rooms as Advertised. They claimed those rooms are only for owners, Not Guests. There were full garbage bags on stairs, and parking lot for days without being picked up by any custodians. Swimming pools were shared by two other hotel guests (Springhill Suites & The Holiday Inn) Bottom line it was a total nightmare experience will never forget, and surely pass it on to our friends and family!!!

The resort is not what’s listed. The property is VERY outdated. The room we’re given was dark, dirty, had an old closed up smell and tv’s that didn’t work. After calling, maintenance brought another tv- only for the living room, still not a smart tv, but not able to use any streaming apps such as Netflix, etc. I complained and complained and finally got my family moved to a new room after getting the attention of corporate. The new room was an improvement, still not what I thought I was booking for our family vacation. Not the bright, inviting room advertised in the photos listed. There was black mold in the laundry room- near the air vent. Cob webs hanging from the ceiling. Again, just not up to date, very old, more than poor housekeeping. The place is run down and being solicited as a resort when it’s more like a motel. Majority of the amenities listed are separated from part of the suites /villas, by what they determine as an “internal road” it has traffic in two directions, with no traffic controls at a 35mph speed limit! The amenities are hyped up and not what you would expect from the photos and listing. The marketplace sells pizza, Starbucks and a few pool floats and sunscreen. Not much of a marketplace at all. The outside is not clean, they advised they are doing renovations but that those are not visible to the eye and will not be completed for about 2 years. It is not in the best neighborhood either. I would not recommend and would not stay at this property again.

This is my go to for a spacious condo for our family to have a no frills fun vacation!! The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean, and our child has a blast on the zip line and in the pools with the slides. It’s safe and nearby a lot of great shopping and food options.

Outstanding family environment! Had 3/2 villa. Clean, great instructions left for us, full kitchen, nice clean pools with towels included, washer/dryer. Easy check in process. Liked the text messages for information and any questions. Will definitely go back again.

They gave us a room where they were doing roof repairs and the noise since 7am was unbearable. They closed the parking lot and the entrances to the apartment, which made it difficult for us since we were carrying a baby, luggages and groceries.

Stayed in a villa. It’s so wonderful and the grounds are very well maintained. Some of the villas are a little dated but the cleanliness and condition of the units makes up for it.

When I called the front desk I was told that “it’a too late they can’t do anything about it at the moment and that I would have to call back at 10am to tell the maintenance team.” When I asked if she could leave a note so I didn’t have to call and all I was told was “no we don’t do that.” I’m sorry but I’m on vacation I’m not trying to be on the phone waiting around for maintenance an issue that they didn’t really care to solve. Horrible experience. Horrible service.

Great stay room very spacious but does need some upgrading especially in the bathrooms. And carpet removal would be ideal.

I would definitely stay again at Calypso Cay Resort! Everyone was so nice and our room was huge. Super close to Disney, restaurants and shopping! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Rooms at a decent price!

It was our first time in the villas. Absolutely loved it. We have always loved the property as a whole very family friendly and you honestly don’t have to leave if you don’t want too. They have everything you need would want to do.

This is a great property location, in the center of everything and a great price/value. very spacious units for a 1 bedroom condo. only my wife and i this time, but i would definitely consider adding the extra bedrooms if we brought all 7 of us in family for a stay. plenty of space and large dining table seats 6 easily. lots of amenities too for all ages.

This time it was very noisy. It's a nice resort and staff very attentive. Price is reasonable.
